“When is she getting here?”

“Ok man she just left her hotel about twenty minutes ago; she should be pulling up any minute now”
I was more than ready for her to arrive. I thought about leaving just to go get her my damn self. But I had Natasha with me, of all days why did she have to come around now. We ended months ago, she knew the deal we had fun now it’s over.
“Oh Nathan darling what’s taking so long with my drink” I was beginning to hate her voice it use to turn me on ten ways to Sunday but now the sound of it annoyed me. Bryce just smiled he knew how I felt.
“Yea Nathan what’s taking so long?”
“Bryce, I’m about ten seconds away from beating the crap out you man”
“Not my fault you don’t know how to control your women, not to worry I’ll go see about Kacie” Bryce said winking at me with a smirk on his face. He was playing with fire and he knew it that’s why he left after he said what he did.
I was about to walk Natasha on the other side of the room when I saw her. Everything froze around me forgetting Natasha was standing right next to me. She was standing at the top of the stairs, looking more beautiful than she did when I saw her last. The gown she wore was like a second glove on her the low cut that hugged her breast made my cock throb, and tent I had to adjust myself if not everybody in here would see how much she affected my. Watching her stand there looking around before she descended the stairs.

I was nerves it took me about ten minutes just to get out of the car. It didn’t make it any better when my driver looked like I was annoying him. But I didn’t care I even thought about telling him to take me back to my room. With tons of courage I managed to talk myself into getting out the car. Once I descended the stairs everybody stopped and stared at me all bravo disappeared. I felt like running far away but didn’t want to give them the benefit of seeing me run again. I wasn’t here for them I was invited and I happen to loved charities. With that in mind I walked down the flight of stairs glad I was wearing a mask to hide my fear. I wished that Jeff was with me, I needed him to help me get through this night. Jeff wouldn’t let these people see fear in me. Once I got to the bottom of the steps I spotted Bryce coming toward me. I was still nerves but glad I knew at least one person there.
“Kacie you look beautiful” Bryce said kissing my hand and placing it in the crook of his arm.
“It’s all thanks to you, you really didn’t have to go this far”
“Nonsense, think of it as a welcome home gift” Bryce walked me to the bar and asked what I wanted. I wasn’t much of a drinker but tonight I needed something strong to get me through the night. Wine wouldn’t cut it I was rolling in the big leagues tonight.
“I’ll take a sprite” Ok maybe I lied I’m not big on alcohol.
“You sure about that” Bryce asked me, I think he could tell I was a big ball of nerves. But he was a gentleman and wouldn’t point that out.
“Do you care to dance Kacie” Bryce asked grabbing a hold of my hand and leading me to the dance floor. He wrapped his arm around me waist and the other and the other hand he held mines. I didn’t know how I felt being this close to Bryce, he was never mean to me growing up but he wasn’t friendly to me either. But I must admit he did look damn good in his black tux and silver mask. Bryce’s, mask matched his black and white tux to the tee. I could tell he worked out a lot too from the fine ridges I could tell were well hidden under his clothes. Bryce was a great dancer to, I never would have guessed. But I could believe since he started dancing every women in the room couldn’t keep their eyes off him.
Once the song ended Bryce walked me back to the bar. To grab our drinks the charity auction was about to began. I started to feel relaxed since Bryce was with me but I knew he would have to leave me to mingle. As they made their way to the area where the auction was I felt like somebody was watching me. I looked around until my eyes locked with a set of piercing emerald eyes. I knew theses eyes and who they belonged to even thro his face was covered by a black mask.
I saw every man there stop and stare are her and that made me even madder because Kacie was mine and no other man was going to have her. She looked nerves and I could tell because she always bit her lip when she was. Something I noticed she did every time she was since they were kids.
I watched Bryce walk Kacie to the bar and then the dance floor. By that point I was livid about the fact that Bryce had Kacie by the waist and she didn’t seem to mind. I was damn near about to walk to the dance floor and snatch her off the dance floor. But with Natasha there standing so close and watching my every move I knew it would be a bad idea to make a scene in public. So I just kept a watchful eye on her. By the time the song ended every man in the room had their eyes on her again, every woman were a look of hate. But that was Kacie she made heads turn and jaws drop but I doubt she knew it. Kacie was of a different breed no other women could hold a candle to her. I Knew I needed to get to Kacie. Just as I had the thought Bryce lead Kacie off the dance floor and to the bar. They headed to the area where the auctions was about to began, that was it I was getting Kacie away from Bryce and I didn’t think twice about Natasha. Hell I brought her; I didn’t say I would spend the whole night with her.
“Oh, Nathan darling where are you going” Letting her voice go in one ear and out the other. I pushed past anybody in my way. All I saw was Kacie in my line of view everybody else was just a blur in the background.

After the auction I felt out of place but glad my gold mask covered my face. I had no idea Nathan would be here he was hidden behind a black mask but I could see those emerald eyes of his. That only Nathan’s family had. I wanted so badly for him to notice me but that would be like asking a snake not to poison me after it bites.
Bryce stayed by my side the in tire night that I was great full for.
"Kacie can I get you something else to drink"
"Umm sure"
"OK don't go anywhere" he said winking at me and walking away. I was glad to have come out so far this night was going good. I just wish Jeff was here it would make this night a dream.
"No matter how you dress you’re still the same poor Kacie whose parents left her" and then she opened her mouth thanks for a almost having a great evening. Tiffany, I should have known the bitch wouldn't be too far behind.

Right then Bryce walked back up with my glass he handed it to me and put his hand on my lower back. He hadn't touch me like that all night I had no idea what he was playing at.

"I was I just got in about an hour ago" His face was tense he wasn't even looking at me his eyes were on Bryce’s hand on my lower back.
"Oh Nathan darling" some pretty brunette walked up to Nathan and put her hand on him. I noticed he tensed under her touch if that's his wife why was he like that with her. But that was not my concern. I had to get away from him.
"Bryce do you care to dance" I asked looking Nathan straight in the eyes. His emeralds turned a darker shade but I could care less he was here with his wife. He had no right to be mad, ha he better get a life.
"Sure Kacie, Nathan can you hold Kacie’s drink for her will you" I knew that pissed him off even more but screw him and his off the run way model of a wife. Bryce took my hand and lead me to the dance floor but I heard the brunette ask him who I was. I didn't care to hear his response so I was glad once Bryce had me in his arms on the dance floor. I felt eyes on me the whole time I didn’t dare to look and meet his eyes I wouldn't give him the satisfaction. Bryce danced two songs before he allowed me to take a break. That man was good on his feet I must say but I needed a break that was for damn sure. I was over the whole event, and of course Bryce knew what to do to get me back in a better mood.
Once I got back to the bar I ordered a sprit I wasn't much of a drinker.
"No alcohol Kacie" I turned to see Nathan behind me to close if you ask me.
"Not a drinker if you must know why are you over here”
"Oh Kacie" he said leaning closer to me. "Kacie I want to know every inch of you inside and out"
Having his breathe against my ear made me stubble just a little but not enough for anybody there to notice. He stepped back with a smirk on his face. Smug bastard. He knew the affect he had on me. I tried to walk away from him but he placed his hand on my lower stomach to halt my walking.

"Yes and let me guess your wife's coming to"

"Ugh your such an ass whole" I stormed off to find Bryce it was time for me to leave. Before I was able to walk off Nathan grabbed me by the hand and pulled me towards a dark hall way. Before I could pull away he had me pinned up against the wall and his mouth on mines. I tried to deny him but my mouth had a mind of its own because my mouth opened and a soft moan came out. I was in the middle of looking for Bryce when the spot light landed on me and I heard Tiffany say my name. Oh good grieve what else could this bitch have to say to me.
"I'm sure you all don't remember her but this is Kacie Douglas everybody give her a hand shall we, don’t let the mask cover your face Kacie let everybody see that face" this bitch was asking for it. Everyone there started staring at me and clapping their hands. I wanted to slap that bitch dead in the face but I couldn't show my hand yet.
"Well considering that this is a charity event Kacie decided to give a donation" With that all eyes were on me I couldn’t fold not now not in front of Tiffany that's what she wanted. I pushed my shoulders back held my head high and walked up to the stage. I grabbed the mic from her and cleared my thought. I saw Nathan making his way to the stage and Bryce not too far behind. I had to say something before they got up on stage.
"Thank you ladies and gentlemen as you all know I'm Kacie Douglas yes that Kacie never thought you'd see me again neither did I but here I am, I understand this is for a charity so as Tiffany so greatly put it that I will be donating a million dollars to the charity. Tiffany’s mouth dropped, Nathan and Bryce both froze mid stride. I shocked the hell out of all of them. Everybody started to clap but I wasn't finished yet I was really feeling myself. The Kacie that was shy was now out of her shell and it was payback time.
"Tiffany suck my balls bitch" With that I dropped the mic and strolled off the stage right passed Nathan who grabbed my arm I snatched it away and walked straight up to Bryce.
"Can we leave now" He didn't say anything just led me out the door. I waited for him to get his driver to pull around and I was hoping he would hurry so I would leave without seeing Nathan.

I can’t catch a break can I” I said under my breathe, what did Nathan want now.
“Kacie I know you hear me calling you”
“Yeah I did but didn’t care to answer what you want Nathan I have nothing else to give to you or anybody else in that place”
“Kacie let me take you to home?”

“Just let me take you” I just wanted to go to my room and put this night behind me, but he looked like he really wanted to take me home.
“Fine Nathan, let me tell Bryce” Bryce walked up right when Nathan grabbed my hand to walk me down the steps.
“Kacie you ready?”
“Bryce I’ll take her home” Bryce looked at me like he needed conformation that I was ok with this. I nodded my head, to say I was fine.
"I'm fine Bryce really thanks for a almost good night I'm just ready for bed"
"OK Kacie goodnight"
He kissed me good night on the cheek and started to walk back to his car but he stopped and said
“I knew you were beautiful Kacie but I had no idea you had balls too damn that dress holds many surprise” He said shaking his head.
Chapter Nine
I was glad that Kacie let me take her home. I hated what Tiffany did to her but I was going to make damn sure it never happened again. Once in the car Kacie was quite just looking out the window, she had a blank expression on her face. I wanted to know what she was thinking was she hurt by what Tiffany did to her. I was going to pay the million dollars she donated, I’m not saying she couldn’t pay it but she shouldn’t have to. Tiffany was a bitch to her, I would make sure Tiffany stays away from Kacie.
By the time we made it to my penthouse I sat there for a moment admiring her she was a beauty. But I doubted she knew it. She looked peaceful, like she had no worries in the world. And at that moment I knew it was my goal to never see her worry about anything in this world. Her caramel skin glowed under the moon light. This time she woke up but she looked paranoid until she saw me looking down at her.
“Where are we”
“I brought you back to my penthouse”
“Why, you said you would take me home?”
“Kacie just come up I have to get something”
“Ok go get it and I’ll wait in the car”
“Kacie I’m not leaving you down here, come on I’m not asking you come on”
She looked at me like I was crazy but I wasn’t playing with her either. She looked like she wasn�

She rolled her eyes and started to get out but once she seen my hand she looked me up and down then rolled her eyes and got out. She tried to push past me but I wasn’t a easy man to push around I closed the door and handed my keys to the bellboy. By the time I made it to Kacie she was pushing the P button. Once it arrived she didn’t even bother to wait on me she just got on and stood in the far left corner. I got on and headed to the far right corner if she wanted to play this game so could I but I way better at it. The ride up wasn’t just a few seconds. So I knew I had time to get to her.
