For the first time, there was a weight off my shoulders. The ability to feel comfort in knowing that the kidnappings of Steve Bennett were behind me, that I was able to move forward now as Audrey and Anna had done before me. With Callum, that future was bright, even with the dark things we would witness in our line of work, because I would have someone that finally understood me. Someone that would help me move past the kidnappings, and into a future where I was in control.
Little did I know, that from the kidnappings, not only did Audrey and Anna get happy endings, but I would too. Callum and I would go through hard times, we would fight and argue, even come close to ending it, but in the end we would remain strong, and we would make it as Audrey and Anna had done with Damien and Garrett. It was rare, but if we worked hard enough, we could make our lives have a happily ever after.
Acknowledgements
As always this book was for the fans of wattpad that encouraged me to publish, but I would also like to acknowledge the overwhelming support from my family. While they didn't know I was serious about my writing, they were supportive of the accomplishment, bought the books and the subsequent books of the series. It was very strange to go home and tell my family that I wrote a kidnap book, and have them read it in front of me, but it was wonderful to come home and have them tell me they liked it, even if they didn't enjoy the topic.
My mom has since supported me by getting a copy of the book for me to have for myself, and making sure that writing wasn't interfering with my school work.
My sister, who hates reading, enjoyed reading it, and my mom has passed it around her work for others to read. I'm glad to say that while they didn't know that I was writing to publish, that their support has been fantastic and irreplaceable. I hope to continue making them proud, as well as my fans with my writing.
Thank you again, Rick, Mary, Laura and Joey for supporting me throughout my life, and in my interests. The series, and future works, are dedicated to you and my fans.
About the Author
My name is Sara, I’m 19 years old, and I was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia.
I have always been interested in writing, even started a book in elementary school, but it didn’t get very far. It wasn’t until high school that my friend, and writing partner, more or less forced me to join an amateur writing site. After some convincing from her, I plucked up the courage to post one of my stories. While it wasn’t popular at first, I was shocked and overwhelmed by the support of readers on Wattpad, and they gave me the support and confidence to get where I am today. I continued to write for the next three years I was on the website, starting countless stories, some of which got surprisingly popular.
It’s all thanks to those that supported me over the years, or I wouldn’t have had the courage to post or submit my stories anywhere. I can’t wait to start sharing more works and ideas with you guys, and I hope you enjoy the works.
