J.T.’s cock slipped between Christian’s lips, he moved in and out his mouth. Christian stuck his finger in J.T.’s ass and J.T. babbled incoherently. He pulled out and squirted his release over Christian’s face.

Christian and J.T. took a quick shower and re-dressed in less than ten minutes.

Christian kissed J.T. “Ready to get that award big boy?”

J.T. winked at his lover. “Of course.”

  Chapter 16

It was September and the football season had started. When J.T. wasn’t traveling, he was filming commercials for his endorsements. Since he had won an ESPY for the Athlete of the Year and one for MVP, his endorsements had quadrupled, making him busier and richer. But she didn’t miss him, she was spending all her time with Kirk. She had fallen in love with him.

Simone sat on a bar stool in Kirk’s kitchen. She looked outside, it was storming. Lightening so sharp that it looked as though it’d slice you in half, knifed from the sky, hitting everything in its path. Even though it was dusk, the rain and storm clouds made it look like it was midnight.

Kirk turned the steak kabobs. It impressed her that he had an indoor grill. Then he turned to the skillet he had heating on his six-burner stove, he tossed in some chopped onions, green peppers and garlic to sauté. The aroma filled the room, then Simone’s nose. Her stomach rolled, she clamped her hand over her mouth and raced to the bathroom.

Kirk rushed after her, he got to the bathroom just in time to see her bend over the toilet and throw up her lunch. “Hold on, let me get you some water and something to wash your face.”

A few minutes later he returned to find a pale Simone sitting on the toilet. “I’m sorry,” she said weakly. “I guess I ate something bad for lunch.”

Kirk handed her the water. “Here drink this.” While she was drinking the water, he moistened a wash cloth with cold water and dabbed her face. “Feeling better now?”

Simone nodded. “I am. Thanks baby. Ready to eat?”

She took a little piece of the meat, chewed then swallowed. Everything went well until her stomach began to feel full, instead of stopping she continued eating. Her stomach rolled again, the nausea hit her and she retraced her steps to the bathroom. Kirk was right behind her. Instead of getting her water, he stood over her.

“What’s wrong with you, are you sick?” he asked worriedly. “Please tell me.”

Simone washed her hands, splashed water on her face. After she dried off, she looked at him. “I think I might be pregnant,” she said hoarsely.

“Is it mine?” Kirk asked quietly.

“Of course it’s yours,” Simone replied angrily. “Who else can it be?”

“I know, that was a dumb question to ask. I guess it’s an automatic response. I’m sorry baby.” He pulled her to him for a hug. “So did you take a pregnancy test?”

Simone shook her head. “I’m too scared.”

Kirk cupped her chin and titled her head up. “Why?”

Simone looked in his blue eyes and saw such love that her reasons just sounded stupid now. “I don’t know,” she mumbled.

“I want to know. I want to know if I’m going to be a Daddy.”

“You mean you don’t have a pregnancy test in this big house? You have everything else.”

Kirk grinned. “Not that. I’ve always been extra careful. You’re the only lady who I went natural for.” Kirk looked out the window, the storm was still going strong. “I’m going out,” he announced.

“Nu uh, let’s wait until tomorrow or at least until the storm dies down.”

“Can’t. There’s a Walgreens five miles from here. I’ll be right back.”

Simone was about to protest again, but decided it wouldn’t do any good. Kirk already had his shoes on and was reaching for his keys. She followed him out to his garage. Like J.T. he loved cars, but he didn’t have as many as J.T. Kirk strolled over to his tricked out Escalade. He kissed her before stepping in.

“Be careful driving. Oh, and can you bring me back some Saltine crackers, Swedish fish and ginger ale?”

  “Swedish fish?”

“I have a craving for them,” she sheepishly admitted.

“I will baby. Go back in the house.” He didn’t drive off until he saw Simone go back safely into the house.

“Is that two stripes?” Kirk asked. He had brought back three different pregnancy tests. “Just to be sure,” he had said when Simone had asked him why he had purchased so many.

“Yeah,” Simone answered, still dazed by the results. It didn’t matter that it was their fourth positive.

Kirk reached for another test. “Let’s do it again,” he said.

Simone reached for his hand to stop him. “No. There’s no need, I’m pregnant,” she said. Then when the enormity of the situation hit her, she began crying. Kirk grabbed her, picked her up and carried her to the bed.

Simone sniffled as he slowly undressed her. Kirk quickly pulled off his clothes, then lay down next to her. “Hey Mommy. I love you,” he whispered, before kissing her eyes, her cheeks, her nose then finally her lips. Kirk slipped his tongue into her mouth.

“Love you too,” A breathless Simone murmured against his mouth. He hadn’t kissed her with such passion before.

He pulled away and pressed his forehead against hers. “This is a wonderful thing…the baby,” he clarified. “The baby is a wonderful thing. My parents are going to be so psyched. This will be their first grandchild.”

She traced her finger around his eyes, then flicked it over his eyelashes. He was so gorgeous that he left her thunderstruck. “Will your parents care that I’m Black?”

Kirk nestled his face between her breasts. “Not at all. My parents are two of the nicest people you’ve ever met. And my father was engaged to a well-known Black actress before he married my mom.”

“Who?” Simone asked, but wished Kirk would shut up and fuck her. But she was curious.

  “Diahann Carroll.”

  “Wow! She’s gorgeous. What happened?”

“She fell in love with someone else. Believe it or not they’re still friends. They occasionally talk on the phone.” He peeked up at her. “They’ll be more concerned that you’re married.”

“We don’t have to tell them,” Simone squeaked, Kirk had flicked his tongue over a nipple and being pregnant made them super sensitive.

“I think that’ll be very hard to do especially with pictures of you and J.T. popping up everywhere. We’ll figure that out when we get to it. Now let’s get down to business.” He cupped her breasts. “They’re already getting big,” he said awed. He patted her stomach. “And I already see a bump.”

She rolled her eyes. “I should be pissed,” she said with a laugh. “But that’s not a baby, that’s all your good cooking,” she joked.

“Then plan on getting huge. Turn onto your side,” he ordered and she did. “We’re gonna do it nice and slow.”

He grabbed her waist and slowly slid into her pink hole. Simone pressed her ass against him and, like he promised, Kirk took his time and he leisurely moved his hips.

Simone closed her eyes and lifted her leg, Kirk deepened his stroke. Simone stuck her index finger in her mouth to wet it, then she reached between her legs and moved in her creases, pushing them away so that she could expose her clit. She gently rubbed it. “Awww Kirk,” she murmured, enjoying the slow pace of his dick moving in her.

Kirk blew lightly in her ear, then tenderly sucked on her earlobe, he felt Simone shudder, he had quickly learned early on that her ear was one of her hot spots. He ran his tongue over her shoulder and nipped it.

Simone’s hand moved over her button and like Kirk, she was taking her time, their lovemaking special, because of the life they had created together. Suddenly, Simone’s clit began tingling and she couldn’t go slow anymore, her hands and hips began moving faster, Kirk followed her lead.

He groaned, not wanting it to end, because her pussy had gotten so wet, and he slid so easily out of her. Moments later,
Simone began panting and she shuddered, then shouted her release. She moved her hands from her clit and began stroking his balls. Kirk inhaled sharply, he dove deep inside her and came.

Kirk lovingly rubbed her stomach and repeatedly kissed it. Simone had never felt so loved before in her life. “What do you think we should name him?”

  “Him? Really Kirk?”

“What?” Kirk asked, feigning innocence. “It could be a boy.”

“And it could be a girl,” she happily reminded him, she always wanted a little girl. Someone to dress up in cute little outfits and when she got older then they could go out shopping together and gossip about boys. She smiled at the thought. Yeah a girl would be perfect.

“You’re pregnant and this isn’t something we can hide from J.T. We really need to come up with a plan,” Kirk said. “Let’s talk about this.”

  Chapter 17

J.T. stealthily strolled up the sidewalk entered a nondescript door and took the elevator up to Christian’s apartment. The discreet entrance was the reason he got the apartment for Christian. There was no way he could risk anyone seeing him.

He slipped a key in the lock and pushed the door open. He closed it behind him. Christian was sleeping peacefully on the couch. J.T. stood over him, and tenderly looked down at him. He had never known such peace in his life. Christian loved him for him, not for his celebrity, not for his money, but for him. He wished, like he always did, that he and Christian could make their relationship public without suffering any negative consequences.

In the short time he had known him, Christian had changed the way he looked at life. Based on Christian’s recommendations he had his foundation make several donations to many worthy causes that he wasn’t aware of. Christian also made him embrace God again. J.T. had lost his faith in God after hearing one too many times that homosexuality was a sin.

But Christian made him realize that God made us all in his image and that God is the all-powerful.

“And doesn’t that make us all powerful?” Christian had asked, one evening while they were lying in bed drinking wine and munching on food then on each other. J.T. had returned to his faith and his quest of finding a deeper meaning in life. Christian made him laugh, he had such a way of telling a story, perfectly mimicking people, that he should’ve been an actor instead of a photographer. Nothing else existed when they were together. Every time he had to leave Christian he felt as though his heart was being torn out then re-stitched into something stronger and better.

J.T. wanted to shake him awake, but he let him sleep. Christian had to work last night. Chris Brown was in concert and Christian was one of the photographers. The concert had lasted well after one o’clock in the morning, then he photographed the after party, he didn’t get home until six o’clock this morning. He had called J.T. right before he went to bed.

J.T. kicked off his shoes and went into the bathroom. He was in such a hurry to get to Christian that he didn’t shower after practice. He undressed and stepped into the shower.

Ten minutes later he stepped out of the shower, the towel wrapped around his waist. Christian sat up and rubbed his eyes. “Hey handsome.”

J.T. leaned down and kissed him. “Hey babe. How was last night?”

“Great! Chris Brown was hot, the party was a little lame, but I got great pics. Check them out on my website.”

“I will.” A piece of paper sitting on the counter caught J.T.’s eyes, he picked it up and skimmed it. “What’s this?”

Christian waved his hand dismissing it. “They’re painting the apartment tomorrow and they want me out of the way for a couple of days. And since I requested that they paint, I very well can’t complain.”

“Why didn’t you tell me about this?”

Christian shrugged. “I got it covered.”

  “Where are staying?”

“I can get a hotel room or something,” Christian said airily. “There are enough of them to choose from in Buckhead.”

“You’re not staying at a damn hotel!”

  “Where am I staying?”

“You’re staying with me,” J.T. said softly.

  “What?”

  “Yeah, stay with me.”

“What about, your wife?” he asked, he couldn’t bring himself to say her name after his behavior at the ESPY Awards.

“Simone will be okay with it.”

“But why? I’d be pissed if my husband brought his lover to live with them, especially his gay lover.”

“We have an arrangement,” J.T. reminded him.

“But it’s one thing to have an agreement on paper than to have it waved in front of your face.”

“She’ll be all right with it,” J.T. said firmly. “Trust me. She does what I want her to do.” He beckoned to Christian to stand. J.T. wrapped his arms around his lover, intertwining his fingers together. He pulled Christian’s hip to his. “Remember, I’m the king of my castle.”

Christian reached between them and grasped J.T.’s dick. “May I service my king?” he asked.

  Chapter 18

Simone sat at her desk poring over the Internet, comparing different sites that showed her baby’s development, magazines on starting a business lay ignored on the desk. She had scheduled an appointment with her gynecologist for later this week. Kirk wanted to come along, but neither he nor she could come up with a credible reason for why he would be there.

Since everybody in Atlanta, hell half the country, knew who she was married to, she couldn’t pass him off as her husband. And for the millionth time since falling in love with Kirk she cursed herself for marrying J.T. But as she liked to reason with herself, she never would’ve met Kirk if she hadn’t married J.T.

Simone studied a picture showing what her baby looked like at eight weeks. “Wow!” she said awed by the creation of life. After reviewing a couple different sites, she strolled up the stairs to her bedroom.

The house was quiet. Ernesto was in the kitchen cooking and Mrs. Robinson was rambling around the house. The landscapers and the gardener had long since left. Like always whenever she moved through the house, she had to pinch herself, she had never imagined living in a mansion. While she still hadn’t gotten to the point where she felt comfortable walking around barefoot, she finally felt comfortable enough to call it home.

“This is still like a dream,” she murmured, then patted her stomach. “But unfortunately it’s about to turn into a nightmare.”

She had just stepped on the floor where her’s and J.T.’s bedrooms were and a man stepped out of his bedroom. Simone stumbled, then froze, too scared to move. A scream was stuck in the back of her throat and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t push it out, it was like a boulder stuck in her throat.

Just then Mrs. Robinson strolled by, carrying a pile of clean linen. Simone raced to her. “Call the police!” She pointed to the man. “He broke into the house.”

Mrs. Robinson laughed. “That’s not a burglar, that’s J.T.’s friend, Christian. He invited him to stay here.”

  “What?”

Christian stepped up to Simone and held out his hand. “It’s nice to see you again,” he said with a smirk.

Ignoring his hand, Simone stepped back, trying to put as much distance between them as possible. “Do I know you?”

Undaunted, Christian dropped his hand. “Yes, from the ESPY’s.”

Simone shook her head. “I met hundreds of people that night.”

Christian arched an eyebrow. “The photographer,” he said quietly.

“The photographer?” She searched her head. Then, “the photographer, oh shit, what are you doing in my house?”

  “I think it’s J.T.’s house.”

  “Fuck you!”

Simone turned to Mrs. Robinson. “Where’s J.T.?”

  She shrugged.

“He’s at practice, then he’s meeting with Kirk, after that he’s having dinner with the mayor,” Christian said smugly.

“Fuck you!” she said to him and stalked of
f to her bedroom. She slammed the door closed. She snatched up her cell phone and called J.T. “What is he doing here?” she asked, seething.

J.T. didn’t bother to ask her who she was talking about. “He’s going to be moving in with us,” he said in a tone that dared her to challenge him.

“Yeah right! We’ll see,” she yelled then hung up on him and immediately called Kirk. “You’re not going to believe this shit!”

  “What’s wrong?”

“J.T.’s brought his lover to live with us.”

  “What? Back up.”

Simone told Kirk about the ESPYs. And she put two and two together and came up with Christian. “Why would he flaunt his lover in my face? I understand our arrangement, but there should be some respect.”

“Like you showed him? You’re pregnant with my baby,” Kirk said quietly.

“Whose side are you on?” she wailed.

“Yours baby, always yours, but you two got into a situation that you two clearly didn’t think out, now it blew up in your faces.”

  “I know.”

“Be easy on him,” Kirk said. “Would you like me to stop by?”

“I don’t know…yes…no…maybe,” she said, then, “I’ll call you if I need you. Okay?”

  “Okay, sounds good. Love you.”

Simone wasn’t able to talk to J.T. until the next afternoon after he got home from practice. She tried to stay up and wait for him, but by eleven o’clock she had fallen asleep, and didn’t wake up until nine o’clock the next morning, but he was gone by then. She had spent the majority of the day shopping with her mother, she didn’t want to risk running into Christian.

Simone knocked on J.T.’s bedroom door. “Come in!” he called. Simone hesitated, she had been rehearsing her speech all day. So much so that she barely spent any money while shopping. She’d only put ten thousand on her credit card, much less than her usual amount.
