"You've got it," he whispered, pushing into her.

She cried out, moving against him instinctively, quickly, loving the sensation of him inside her.

"You want to take it all, Dani?" he whispered.

  Her eyes flew open.

  "You're sure now?"

  She nodded.

He groaned and drew himself all the way into her, pumping in and out, while she gasped with pleasure.

"Your pussy is so fucking tight," he whispered, "so tight and nice."

But then he stopped thrusting. She looked up at him.

"Do you love me Dani?" he whispered urgently.

"I love you. I do love you..." her voice trailed off as he began thrusting again. His movements were quick and strong, as she tensed, cried out, and gripped his arms.

His lips roved up and down her neck as his thrusts slowed.

"Is it...is it over?" she asked him.

Laughing softly, he drew himself up and looked at her. "Do you want it to be?"

  "No. Not really."

"You just have to stop moving like that against me, or I'll come too soon."

She sighed and smoothed his hair as he still stroked himself slowly within her.

  "Dani, tell me again."

  "I love you."

  "And again.

"I love you." She looked up at him. His eyes were deep blue in the twilight.

She sighed, and thought she'd remember this moment forever.

He stopped, drew a breath, and continued slowly. "Delizioso," he whispered. "Just fucking delicious."

His lips moved to her breasts as he sucked one then the other, with his tongue teasing the nipples, his teeth nipping and playing. He noticed her sharp intake of breath. "You like that," he said softly, "I do too, Dani."

Every time he whispered, a feeling grew within her then was released.

His hand came up and massaged one breast then the other, drawing them, guiding them to his lips.

Dani gasped, as he slowed again.

But this time, he couldn't stop. Drawing himself up from her, he drew a steady rhythm, with his eyes closed, faster then deeper, giving her all of him. She heard him whispering in Italian, "Ti amo...bella..." He drew a shaky breath, "Dani, come with me, come with me now..."

She felt herself tightening and she gasped, drowning in the sensation and feel of him, reveling in it, loving it as she loved him. He stiffened, pulsed, and she smiled as she realized he'd found his release. She stroked the hard muscles on his arms, then down his back, as he let out a long sigh.

"Dani," he breathed, as he slowed, "tell me it was good for you." He kissed her cheek, then down her neck, nuzzling the base of her throat.

  "It was wonderful."

"I wanted your first time to be good."

  She was quiet.

He drew back and balanced on his arms looking down at her.

She whispered, "It really was my first time. And it really was good."

Smiling, he kissed her lips softly, but still stayed inside her, not wanting it to end.

  Chapter 15

Al watched Dani move around the kitchen the next morning, making coffee and talking to him about inane little things, like the garden, her computer, the fact that Kim and Charlene called yesterday. Her hair was at the nape of her neck, wrapped around itself in a loose bun she'd fastened somehow, and her feet were bare. The sight of her stirred him, a feeling that he always wanted to be with her, all the time, non-stop.

He remembered the night before, how she'd blown his mind with her sensuality. He really held himself back. He didn't want to hurt her, but he'd wanted to have sex with her again and again just to recreate the feeling within him.

In the end, he hadn't. He'd just held her as she drifted off to sleep. And he'd woken this morning with an enormous hard-on so bad he'd had to take a cold shower.

"Are you listening to me?" she said, waving her hand in front of his face. Her green eyes appraised him carefully. "Did you hear what I said?"

He grinned at her sheepishly. "Just thinking about last night."

She flushed. It reminded him of the first time he'd seen her in bra and panties. She'd flushed then too. And, he'd been more than turned on at the sight of her.

"Well, what I was saying is, do you ever transfer people in the casinos to different positions?"

"We post them on the board. People can apply. Why?"

She looked thoughtful. "I have someone who I think should apply for a different shift. A friend of mine."

"You know, Dani, you haven't had the bad dreams while you've been here. I just realized it the other day. You must feel secure. It makes me wonder if you should stay here instead of the casino."

  She didn't answer.

"Also," she said finally, as if she hadn't heard him, "one of your cage count employees had Vito pegged as a thief before surveillance caught him in the act."

"Who?" He was astonished. How had she found that out?

"His name is Michael. He works in soft count."

His mind went back to his trip to surveillance that day. The angry man throwing chairs. "He had Vito spotted then?"

"Well, it was really simple. Michael said he was the only one with pockets. I should have told you, and you could have taken it and handled it."

As he watched her, while she poured his coffee, his eyes took in all of her, roved over her hungrily. "Would you like to come with me today?"

  "I thought the doctor--"

"They don't know everything. You need the casino. You miss it, right?"

Ruefully, she admitted, "Yes. I really do. The people, the lights, the sounds of the slots, waving to the dealers. And performing. The audiences. Even the cafeteria."

"Well, go get ready woman. I don't have all day."

He warned her, but she still wasn't prepared for the shock of reporters waiting for her as she stepped out of his car. Flashes went off in her face, as she raised her hand over her eyes.

"Hey guys...and gals," Al told them, "give her a little room here, okay?"

But a younger one was especially persistent. "Dani, how about an interview?" he asked, as he dogged them to the front doors of the casino.

She gave him her best smile. "Sure. Set it up with Angie in Public Relations."

"Are you sure you want to do that?" Al asked her, as they walked into the first floor coffee shop.

"Oh, he doesn't mean any harm. I've seen him before. He's just trying to make a living like everyone else."

They sat, and Al made a call.

Lefty and Teeny came in a few minutes later. They gave her Hollywood hugs, afraid they would hurt her.

"Dani," Teeny said, as he pulled up a chair, "how 'ya doing?"

"Great. I'm ready to go back to work," she replied.

Al laughed. "I think it's more a case of cabin fever. She won't be back for another two weeks at least."

"'Ey," the big man said, "the shiner's gone. See?"

  Dani laughed.

  "Reporters out front?" Lefty asked.

"The usual," Al sighed. "You see any problem with Dani doing an interview?"

Lefty looked at her and said, "No."

"Not dressed like this, though," she said, pointing to her jeans, boots and t-shirt. "I need something dressier. Knock their socks off."

"Hey, wait a minute," Al said, "let's not get carried away Dani. I'll have to get with Angie, see what she thinks." There was a trace of jealousy in his voice, an edge that Dani hadn't heard before.

Dani ignored it and said to Lefty, "So how is Miss Stutgart doing?"

He shrugged and took a slug of his coffee. "The usual. Can't figure out how to get that pole up and out of her ass."

Smiling now, she said, "Admit it. You like her. I know you do, Lefty."

"What are you, resident matchmaker or something?" he muttered.

But just then, a whole procession of people came in the coffee shop to see Dani. Al thought word of Dani's return must have spread fast. One by one, they either hugged her
or stood grinning. Most of the dancers, Kim, Adriene, Nat Davis, dayshift dealers, the count team Maude, Linda, Freddy, Michael; the audit team, Sung Li, Harold, Christie; Nola, Charlene and the guards Matt, Jason and Candy. Even Stutgart showed up, with Lefty eyeing her the whole time.

Al just lounged back in his seat, watching the entire spectacle. He'd never seen the likes of it in all his years in the casino, that someone could produce such a following in such a short time.

By the time nine o'clock came, she was looking a little tired, so he suggested they go up to the penthouse before he had to check the dancers in the theater.

"I've never seen the bedroom in here," she joked with him on the elevator, "is there anything I should know about?"

A smile quirked his lips. "You mean boxes and boxes of condoms? No, not at all. I think you'll like it."

And, like it she did. "Look at the view!" she said excitedly, "It's better than the view from the den. And the bedspread is so soft, what is it made of?"

"I don't know. My designer did it for me. I thought it was a good choice."

Looking underneath the spread, she commented, "No satin sheets?"

Laughing, walking towards her, he said, "Never liked them. Too slimy."

She sat now on the bed, and he ran a hand down her hair as he stood next to her. "Did I ever tell you about your fragrance? How I love it?"

"I don't wear perfume usually," she said softly, "but I will if you want me to."

"No. You smell clean, fresh. Even after our lovemaking." Sitting next to her on the bed, he kissed down to the hollow of her neck. "So, you enjoyed it? Last night, I mean?"

Her skin was so soft, he thought, so kissable. He listened to her small gasp as she tipped her head back.

  "Will you...again tonight?" she whispered.

"I'll look forward to it all day long. I treasure my moments with you, Dani. I love you so much. Almost too much."

She pulled back and looked at him curiously. "What do you mean?"

But he just smiled, stood, and held his hand out for her. He brought both her hands to his lips, kissing the back of both her hands, then her palms.

"That sends shivers through me when you do that," she whispered.

"I'll have to do it more often," he said softly, kissing them again. "We'd better go down now. You can sit with me and see what I see when you walk across the stage."

  She nodded.

They arrived at the theater five minutes later, and she sat next to Al, with Nat Davis on the other side of her, as she waved at the women, on break now.

"Hi Sugar!" Kim called to her.

Dani watched them enviously, even as they wore leotards. Just to stretch and flex, and dance again. It was like a physical longing within her, a pain that couldn't be reduced.

She thought back to the night when she was lunged at, accosted so brutally, and she thought of Nola's words about the audience and barriers. There was no barrier anymore for Dani. She would need to be constantly on guard, not only for herself but for the other dancers as well. She was leader, out front, accessible. And a niggling fear began in the back of her mind, as she thought about performing again.

"Next up," Al whispered, breaking her train of thought.

She watched Lorali walk across the stage, and she was stunned at the amount of weight the woman had put on while Dani was recovering. Pads of fat were starting to form on her hips, and her thighs were big, along with her upper arms.

  "Any suggestions?" he muttered.

"Ask what type of diet she's on," she whispered.

He asked the question, and Lorali just stopped and looked at him blankly. "It doesn't have a name," she snapped, "just salads and like that."

"You need a new type then," he countered back bluntly, "let me know."

Tony sat in Kim's room, lounging in a chair. He thought about Kim now, as he constantly seemed to be doing lately.

The last time he came into town was just two weeks ago. He'd stepped off the plane and found the casino limo; thought she'd forgotten him as the limo appeared empty.

But as the man pulled out, and started down the highway, Tony heard a sound from the very back seat of the limo. Looking around, he couldn't believe his eyes.

Kim sat naked, except for a garter belt, stockings and three inch heels, with her long black hair pulled over her breasts. Her legs were wide open. "Welcome to Vegas," she told him in her husky voice.

It was the best sex he'd ever had in his life, as he shot into the back seat and took her eagerly, knowing the limo driver was probably listening. Hell, she didn't care and neither did he.

She didn't know he was here today.

A minute later, he heard the room card, and she came in, not glancing his way. Throwing her duffle on the kitchenette table, she took a deep breath and shook her hair out from a pony tail.

  "Strip," he said quietly.

Whirling around, she saw him and her eyes narrowed. "Make me."

He jumped up from the chair, and grabbed her. "We can do this hard or easy."

  "Hard. Very hard," she replied.

Jamming down her leotard, shucking off her sleeves, his hands rolled across her generous breasts. He pressed her to him, and he sucked her nipples hungrily.

"Oh, God," she murmured, "I should shower--"

"Hell with that," he said, as he kissed her neck, then her lips, a deep probing kiss, a hard kiss, tongue roving in her mouth. "You can take one after," he said with his lips against hers.

He ran into the bedroom, dragging her by the hand, and pulled off her leotard and panties. "Damn," as he threw her on the bed, "where you been all my life?"

Knowing she liked it hard, he entered her without foreplay, but he thought she was way ready for him. The only sound in the room for the next minute was the slapping of their bodies, and sighs before he stopped.

Neither moved. He felt her pulsing against him, as her eyes closed. Her breathing was ragged now, her lips opened slightly. He licked around her lips then kissed her softly.

  "Please," she whispered.

He thrust once, and stopped again. She pulsed.

"Show me your eyes," he said.

She opened them, but her brown eyes were glassy as they looked up now.

"You going to come for me?" he asked her.

He quickly brought her over on top of him and he pounded into her, knowing it would make her peak. They reached a rhythm together before he stopped again. "Come for me," he urged, "come for Tony. Now. Right now."

Flipping her across the bed again so he was on top, he jammed into her, as she cried out, time after time.

Robert got the call around eleven o'clock. "Scaletti," he said, as he hung up the phone.

"Shit," Jerry said, "what'd you do?"

"Damned if I know," he replied. He brushed his pants off, and tried to straighten his shirt. "How do I look?"

Les laughed. "Like dog crap. You're not meeting a girl. Guys don't notice those things."

"He will," Robert moaned, as he cursed his way out the door.

He arrived at Al's penthouse office a few minutes later. His eyes searched for Dani, but she wasn't there. He knew she was in the casino, though. He'd seen her on camera.

Al indicated a chair in front of his desk, and they both sat.

  "Yes, boss?" Robert said nervously.

After rummaging in the papers on his desk, Al picked out check and handed it to him.

Without even looking at the amount, Robert asked him, "I don't understand, sir. Did I do something wrong?"

Al smiled. "No," he said softly, "you did something right. Don't ever think I don't appreciate the job you're doing here."

Robert's brows furrowed. Then he glanced at the check amount. "Holy shit!" he breathed. His eyes moved to Al again.

"A little bonus for you. Buy a car or something. You've saved me an unimaginable amount of money. But I did want to ask you something while you're up here."

  Stunned, Robert nodded.

"I notice from your HR file
that you have a B.A. in economics. The General Manager spot is opened. Would you like to put in for that?"

Robert's breath came out in a gasp. "Hell, yes," he said.

Al laughed. "Okay I'll talk to Stutgart about it. I need someone I can trust in that slot. And, you've been doing so well with everything I asked you to do. I thought of you right away."

"Thank you, sir," Robert said, as he stood.

Just then, his gaze moved past Al to the doorway beyond.

Dani walked into the entrance, with her long red curls in disarray, her eyes sleepy and her cheeks rosy. Robert thought it was probably the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen.

His boss turned to her and said, "Baby, this is the man who's been following you."

She smiled that electric smile he'd only seen once before. "Thank you," she said, her voice husky from sleep.

Al rose, and shook his hand. "It will be a few weeks," he told Robert, "we still have to have some auditors come in and clean up Vito's mess. I want to hand everything over with clean books. Understand?"

"Absolutely, sir. And thanks very much, I appreciate the opportunity."

After he'd left, Dani sat on Al's lap. "Think he'll be okay?"

  "No doubt in my mind."

Logan sat at the middle table, playing a half-hearted game of blackjack, betting as small as the table permitted. His eyes darted here and there, as he'd been doing for hours now. Watching the pull, the carts, the guards and their stations by the entrances, exits and those walking along with the team. He took extended restroom breaks just watching them, never stopping of course because then they'd be onto him.

And he watched for signs of inattention in guards, carelessness of the team, gaps between the entrance and the pull as it rolled slowly along. He thought this was going to be tougher than he and Beamer had talked about.

It wasn't going to be like the other casino, where they'd walked off with all that fucking cash. He remembered their celebration at one of the strip hotels, with champagne and hookers. No fingerprints and nothing to link them to the job. They wore gloves and black masks and no one knew who the fuck they even were. They were in and out before the guards even knew what happened.
