Incubus Master: Complete (Yaoi) Page 12

  “Ha. You’re right.”

“The shard gatherer and the guardian is our best romance story here. Lord Figaru’s courting you properly.”

Jinady looked down. Dreamy thoughts crept back into his head. He shooed them by clearing his throat.

“I still want to know what happened between Rowan and him.”

“Aw!” Eban tried to fling the pillow at him. It was attached to his chest by the snags of his chainmail. “Oops.” He tried to dislodge it. It was stuck fast. Eban ripped it off him, sending feathers everywhere.

  Jinady’s eyes narrowed. “Thanks.”

Eban leapt up from the bed and placed the empty remains of the pillow at the head. “Don’t screw up a perfect love story by nagging him about his old admirers.” He plucked scraps of pillow off his chest with both hands. “If you have to pry do it discreetly.”

“I have. I’ve been asking Rowan.”

“Don’t ask that jealous idiot. He’s not going to help someone else get what he could never have.”

Jinady blinked. “I should have thought of that.”

“No one knows Figaru better than Deputy. Go to the record house in the settlement to talk to him. But you can’t tell him you’re going to be Figaru’s mate. He was Figaru’s adopted son, and I hear he can’t stand the idea of anyone else becoming number one with him. Come up with some other excuse to talk to him, and then work Figaru into the conversation.”

Jinady nodded. He could ask about his fortress. He rose.

  “I’ll go now.”

“No you can’t. The record house is closed, and its dinnertime. We still have catching up to do.”

  Jinady followed him out.

After dinner, Eban left to run errands. Jinady lingered in the mess hall. There were no activities even if he wanted to participate in them. He had no excuse not to visit Rowan.

Instead, Jinady took a bath and washed his undergarments. He participated in the night exercises. By the time he was done it was curfew. He went to bed.

  Chapter 14

“That little bitch stood you up,” Scor said. He lounged on Rowan’s bed with his arms propped up behind his head.

Rowan kneeled besides Scor. The blood chain was not long enough for Rowan to recline on the bed. He rested against a mound of pillows on his stomach with his face near the window. He wore a tunic with nothing underneath. The dim timepiece across the room showed the hour was past curfew.

“So Figaru gives him a kiss, and now he’s just going to put on blinders?” Rowan said, grinding his teeth. “He doesn’t want to learn the truth anymore?”

“Sounds about right. I’ve hated Figaru longer than you have. I still couldn’t deny his…demonic magnetism. When he opened the cage and gave me a hard kiss, it knocked all the fight out of me. I’d keep my body slack and let him move me into whatever position he wanted. My face might have been angry, but I was thinking: Okay fine. Go ahead and fuck me you sexy prick.”

“The one time I kissed him he knocked me down and ruined my life,” Rowan said, not looking at him.

  “Don’t think about it.”

“Like I have a choice. At least you could pace inside your cage. Figaru’s the only one who could think of something this cruel.”

“It’ll be taken care of,” Scor said, calmly.

“Not if Jinady doesn’t come back here before he leaves on his mission.”

  “I’ll deal with him.”

Rowan was silent for a moment. He began to tremble with tears. “You better,” he said.

Scor ran his hand over the back of Rowan’s bare leg just below his buttocks.

“Don’t I always take care of you?”

Rowan tensed. He scrubbed the tears out of his eyes with the side of his hand. Scor lifted his tunic to expose his ass.

“Forget it. I’m not in the mood,” Rowan said.

  “You sure, kitten?”

Scor sat up. He glided his hand between Rowan’s thighs. Rowan clenched his legs to no avail. Scor had worked his hand in far enough to rub the place between his asshole and balls.

  “Stop it!”

  Scor rubbed harder.

“Who do you think I am?” Scor said. “Your little boyfriend Vandrel?”

  Rowan spoke through tears. “Stop!”

“Pssh.” Scor removed his hand. He moved behind Rowan and grabbed both round buttocks. He kneaded the flesh. “Quit playing hard to get when you’re in a ‘fuck me’ position.”

  “No, Scor!”

Scor spread Rowan’s cheeks and shoved his tongue inside him.

  “Ahh!”

Rowan’s thighs weakened. He squirmed. Scor pierced deep. He laved the immaculately clean hole.

  “St-stop it, damn you!”

Rowan’s jagged breathing intermingled with sobs and flinches. Scor squeezed both ass cheeks gently. He angled his chin to penetrate the spot that made Rowan writhe.

  “No! Ahh!”

Rowan tried to pull away. He brought one leg over the pillows. Scor closed his hand on Rowan’s balls. Rowan darted his leg back to close his thighs. Scor’s powerful hand kept them parted. He massaged the quivering packet of flesh while his tongue still explored.

Rowan arched back as far as the chain would go. He squeezed his eyes shut. “Scor—stop! Please!”

Scor pulled his head back. He kept hold of Rowan’s balls, but didn’t torment them.

“You gonna let me fuck you now?”

Rowan lowered back down against his pillows. He nodded.

Scor got up from the bed. He threw off his pants and went to Rowan’s soldier chest.

  “You’re a damn bastard.”

Scor pulled out a jar of grease. “But you still love me, don’t you?”

  “Go to Hell.”

  “Hah?”

Scor whacked his palm against Rowan’s bare ass. The taut flesh cascaded from the impact. Rowan screamed.

“Don’t…” Rowan was whimpering through tears. “Don’t hurt me.”

Scor pushed two greased fingers into Rowan. He screamed a second time, but from the cold fingers. Scor wouldn’t press faster than what he knew Rowan could take.

“You like to be hurt,” Scor said. “That’s why you keep your heart fires burning for Figaru.”

Rowan squeezed his eyes closed tight. “No.” He lurched with his whole body as Scor mashed his fingers deep inside him. “Ahh! I hate him.”

“Love and hate are ten seconds apart for you. If Figaru asked you for a fuck you’d wiggle this sweet ass in the air for him.” Scor worked in a third thick finger.

  “Uhhh! I wouldn’t—“

  “Hogshit.”

  “I wouldn’t have a choice!”

  “Yeah. Exactly.”

Scor kneeled behind Rowan. He spread his hole with two fingers, and perked the head of his cock against the bottom of his muscular ring. He shoved it in while drawing his fingers out. Rowan’s feet flew up.

“Uhh! Huhh! Gently!” Rowan curled his toes. His legs writhed.

  Scor pushed in slow.

  “Ahhhh!”

“You’re always so tight. I must be the biggest cock out of the three.”

“N-no. Ah! Leatha’s bigger than you.”

  “Figures.”

Scor gripped his ass cheeks and started to thrust. Rowan clenched his pillows.

  “Not so uh! hard!”

  Scor plunged in.

  “Aiiee!”

“The delicate flower act gets old, Rowan. Mmph! Like I said, you want to suffer. It’s what makes you happy. You wouldn’t be with me otherwise.”

Scor crashed his pelvis into him. Rowan gave a plaintive moan every time Scor thrust.

“You never wanted to be Figaru’s lover. You wanted to be me. In the cage. His dirty little secret. Angry tears and clenched fists. That’s how you like it.”

  Rowan’s cries became staggered.

Scor reached under him. He gripped a member so erect it had curled up at Rowan’s belly button. He crashed pelvis-to-ass behind him
with fast short strokes. His thumb crushed the slippery opening of Rowan’s cock.

  “Ahh!”

Scor lifted one of Rowan’s legs so that his cock could protrude lewdly from the pillows. Scor licked his lips and stared at the member in his fist. Rowan kept his eyes closed. His face shone with tears.

  “Nn! Nnngh!”

Scor masturbated him furiously. He continued his rough assault into Rowan’s ass. Rowan’s moans turned to short yelps.

  “Yeah, do it.”

Scor was transfixed. The member’s veiny jacket of skin was dark with blood and friction. The swollen head was crimson. Rowan bit his bottom lip hard enough to make it bleed. His tight ball sack trembled then constricted inward.

Threads of white shot out of him. Rowan screamed.

“Mmm, ssssttt, nice,” Scor said. His hand kept pumping. He slowed his rhythm into Rowan’s ass to watch. Rowan’s body convulsed as the last sprays of his orgasm were forced from him.

  “Ahhh!” He wrenched his hips.

Scor squeezed the base of Rowan’s cock and glided his tight fist up the length to milk the last drop. He crushed his hand over the wet cock head, then let the member burst free of his grip.

  “Uhhh! Scor!”

Scor pushed Rowan back onto his belly. He started ramming behind him again.

  “Enough…finish!”

Scor jabbed him. “What? Getting a painful hard-on? Not fun when you’re empty.”

Rowan shuddered with tears. Scor started to jab in hard, then drew his stout cock out slow. He repeated the motion several times.

  “Tell me you love me.”

  “Ahh!”

“More than your fucking Vandrel and Leatha.”

“Of course!” He wiped his tears on his arm.

  “Let me hear it, babe.”

  “Uh!”

  “I’m serious.”

“I love you, Scor.” He convulsed with sobs. “You know I love you. You’re the only one. I don’t care about anyone else. They could all die! I don’t care.”

“That’s right.” Scor closed his eyes and came. “Umph!” He plunged with each gush of liquid. “Mmm.” He flooded into Rowan until a line of white dripped down his thigh.

  Scor closed over him gasping.

Rowan blinked the tears out of his eyes. He drew a long staggered breath.

Scor stayed lodged inside, absorbing the last waves of incubus energy. He caressed his shoulder.

  “I’ll never let you go.”

Jinady set off to see Deputy the next morning. He headed toward the downtown of the settlement which flowed into the camp.

  “Jinady.”

Scor was standing in shadowed pathway between two cabins, scowling.

Jinady halted. Rowan’s cabin was a short distance from them.

  “Come here,” Scor said.

The sun was bright in the sky. Soldiers were milling about. Scor couldn’t have been planning something sinister. Jinady still felt apprehensive. He walked to him after a noticeable pause.

“Rowan was crying last night,” Scor said. His voice was angry but steady. “It wasn’t tears over the chain sticking out of his throat. It wasn’t cause of me, or Leatha, or Vandrel. And someone said you’d been whispering to him through the window.”

Jinady hid his fear. “We spoke a few times.”

“Yeah. Why’s he crying, Jinady? He heard you hadn’t left on your mission yet, then saw it was past curfew and cried. Why’s that, Jinady?”

Jinady looked down. “You were there for him, weren’t you?”

“He had something to give you.”

“Hmm.” He scratched the dry skin around his fingernails.

“People treat him like a pariah. You were the first mortal that seemed like you wanted to be friends with him. Now he hears you’re kissing Figaru. Then you stand him up. How do you think that’s going to make him feel?”

  “I’ll visit tonight.”

  “You visit now.”

Jinady looked up. “I was on my way to see Deputy.”

“Deputy? Fuck, Deputy. What for? To trade notes on Figaru? You think he’s a better source than Rowan? You know what that asshole calls Figaru?”

  “No.”

Scor started walking in Rowan’s direction. He gestured Jinady to follow.

  “Dad,” Scor said.

Jinady followed him. “You make it sound like I’m investigating Figaru.”

Scor halted. They were off the path a few steps from Rowan’s cabin.

“Are you going to deny it now? Figaru’s an evil son of a bitch. Go ahead and pretend you’re safe with him. It will catch up to you eventually.”

Jinady swallowed. He’d kept up his façade of courage before Scor so far. He decided to go all the way. Scor couldn’t really hurt him, could he?

“Who are you to be calling Figaru evil?”

Scor spoke at once. “I’m the one he locked in a cage for two years to fuck whenever he got hungry.”

  “I knew about that.”

“And I’m the one who saved two guys’ lives on a mission to earn his freedom. My reward was to get attacked by Figaru. A fucking three-hour fight all over the camp. He beat me until I was a bloody pulp. You hear about that, too, Jinady?”

Jinady nodded, humbled. “I heard. I don’t understand why he did that to you.”

Scor leaned close to him and enunciated each word. “Because he is a fucking sadistic bastard.” He resumed his normal tone. “Realize it now, or realize it when it’s too late, and you get a chain sticking out of your neck.”

Scor stalked off again. Jinady followed. As they neared Rowan’s cabin, Jinady glanced up. Vandrel appeared from the back of the cabin. Scor halted.

“I’ve decided to help you,” Vandrel said.

  “Why’s that? Everything’s going fine.”

“You don’t just have to trick Jinady. You have to trick Figaru,” Vandrel said. “He’s sure to tell him.”

Jinady began to step back. His false courage drained out of his body. He swore below his breath.

“I want Rowan gone.” Vandrel lifted both hands with his unnatural speed. He swathed Jinady in a colored mist.

“No!” Jinady froze in place. His word ended in a gag. Scor backed away from him with a smile.

  Chapter 15

Jinady stood on the main path disoriented. He felt as though he’d been asleep and just woken up there. He had to look down and concentrate to remember what he was doing. Of course—he was going to visit Deputy.

He began a wavering stride in the direction of his quarters. Was he fatigued? He ran his fingers through his scalp. He was drenched with sweat.

He must have blacked out. He had a lingering sense of unease. His muscles were tense. Perhaps training so hard and suddenly stopping caused a reaction in his body? He kept pondering as he walked.

The thought of Scor being beaten by Figaru popped in his head. He thought of how Scor had proven worthy of his freedom, then had been attacked as his reward. He didn’t know why he remembered this now. It bothered him. Why did Figaru do such a thing?

He realized he was scratching his chest. A large area between his collar and navel itched terribly. He looked into his shirt. He had a scaly crimson rash and he was bleeding below his nipple. Jinady was shocked. What was wrong with him? He turned around to retreat to the baths. His uneasiness did not abate as he scrubbed the inflamed skin clean.

Figaru went to the equipment shed that evening to ensure nothing had been forgotten for the mission. He sensed the auras of Scor and Vandrel near Rowan’s cabin. He grimaced.

“Please finish for me here, Yeoman.”

Yeoman perked up. He was kneeling beside their supplies while checking off items from a list. “Yes, Lord Figaru.”

Figaru followed the auras. He heard the two demons speaking with hushed voices that grew more urgent as he neared. He rounded the corner to find both Vandrel and Scor facing him. Figaru hesitated.

“Is something amiss?” he said after several m
oments.

Vandrel cleared his throat. “I’ve handled it.”

Figaru looked at Scor. Scor didn’t meet his eyes. He turned on his heel and left.

  “What’s going on?” Figaru said.

“Just negotiating some time for Leatha. I can’t keep Scor away from Rowan, but I can keep her from knowing about it.”

“Ah.” Figaru feigned belief. Something had happened. Scor only passed on opportunities for conflict when he was hiding something. Vandrel was being too cautious with his words. “Walk with me for a bit.”

Figaru saw Vandrel’s lip move slightly to the side. The demon was chewing the inside corner of his mouth. Figaru forced himself to appear serene. They walked through the pine trees behind the cabins.

  “Aren’t you busy preparing?”

  “Everything’s prepared,” Figaru said.

“You must be looking forward to time with Jinady.”

  “Very much.”

“Will you make him your mate on this mission?”

Figaru paused beside a tree. He faced Vandrel. “No.”

“How will you resist him? The nights get cold up there. He’ll need to snuggle with you for warmth. You’ll feel his sweet heartbeat against your breast. You won’t kiss him? Fondle him? Penetrate his pink little bud?”

  “Do you think you’re funny?”

Vandrel drew a languorous breath. He looked toward the ground. “Mortals aren’t the only ones who are interested in your love life.” His lifted his gaze again. “The thought of you with Jinady is juicy.”

“Hmm.” Figaru eyed him. Vandrel was being earnest now. He’d recovered his bearing quickly. His crime couldn’t have been that dire. Figaru was draconian with his demon soldiers. They had incentive to keep even the smallest infractions from him. Vandrel had surely done something wrong, but not unforgivable.

“I don’t want his first time with me to be in a cold forest,” Figaru said.

“That’s very attentive of you. Yes. He should have every comfort for those first few times. You’re massive.” Vandrel brought a black-clawed hand beneath his chin. “Come to think of it, is sex even feasible?”

“He’s the same size as you.”
