Secret Mayhem Page 5

Shay turned and Ava licked her lips. She tasted Shay on her lips. If earning her keep meant what she thought Shay meant, she could handle that with Shay. If he wanted her…

The clubhouse was just a bunch of men talking, laughing, and arguing. Setting up pool games. Grabbing bottles of whiskey. Carrying six packs of beers in one hand. Throwing darts. It was the same scene she had grown used to, but now there were twice the amount of men, and she could see trouble escalating very quickly.

“Let me get us a drink,” Shay said.

He knocked on the bar and put up two fingers. The guy behind bar got two beers. Shay gave a bottle to Ava and then they sat down next to each other.

Ava looked around and spotted Nile. He was next to the guy who everyone called Blaine. Blaine was a good looking guy, but he was scary too. The way he talked. The way he handled getting stabbed like it was no big deal. Ava was realizing that these men - all of them - were of a different world and mindset.

“How good can you be with one fucking eye?” Blaine asked. “Look at you, man. How the hell do you get pussy?”

“I take what I want,” Nile said.

Ava caught herself standing from her barstool and moving closer to Shay.

“Wow,” Shay said, “that guy really gets to you. Want me to kill him?”

Ava looked at Shay. “Can you do that?”

“Love, I can kill anyone I want. Everything comes with a cost though.”

  Ava swallowed hard.

“I’ll put money on it,” Blaine said. “Pussy on it. I’ll get you three relievers and give you my room for the night. You just have to hit a bullseye.”

“We already knew that!” someone called out.

  Everyone shared a laugh.

Ava tried to comprehend her surroundings. Trev was standing with the president of Back Down Devil, Miller. The VP, Gaige, was close by, his hand tight in the hand of a beautiful woman. There were two other guys who had women with them. Their body language and the way they touched each other told Ava they were a couple.

Everyone else seemed to be single. The rest of the women walked around with a sexy strut in their hips, hoping that they’d attract the attention of at least one of the bikers.

Blaine looked over to the bar and pointed. He let out a whistle and yelled, “Come here. Now.”

Ava watched as a guy climbed over the bar. He wasn’t patched in with Back Down Devil.

  “What’s happening?” Ava asked.

  “I’m not sure,” Shay said.

Blaine directed the guy to the dartboard where he placed the guy’s left hand. He made the guy spread his middle and ring fingers open, making a V.

“Keep your hand there,” Blaine said. “Or one of the Lost Men are going to take you for the night. Got it?”

  “Yes, sir,” the guy said.

Blaine turned and smiled. “There you go, one eye. Make that shot. You stab my prospect and I’m going to stab you. Make the bullseye without hurting him and you get my bed and our pussy.”

Ava couldn’t look away. Shay even stood from his barstool.

Nile grabbed a dart and threw it in what seemed like sloppy fashion. But the dart hit the bullseye.

  “Holy fuck,” Blaine said.

“You only need one eye to shoot darts,” Nile said. “And you only need one good cock to fuck.”

The Lost Men started to hoot and holler, and Shay knew it was about to get out of hand,.

Nile reached down and took a handful of darts. Before anyone could say another word, he started throwing them. The first two connected with the prospect’s hand and he fell to his knees yelling in pain. Nile then threw the rest of the darts at the prospect’s back and ass.

  “Sit here,” Shay said.

He ran forward, leaving Ava alone and scared. If a fight broke out in the clubhouse, it would be bad.

Blaine grabbed Nile and threw him toward the wall. Shay was there a second later, pushing Blaine aside. He put his hand to Nile’s throat and held him to the wall.

“Shay!” Miller bellowed. “Don’t you fucking do it!”

Shay looked at Miller as he contemplated whether he should stab Nile before he killed him, or stab him all over and watch him bleed out.

“That’s a fucking order,” Miller said.

“That’s a fucking order,” Nile said and laughed. “Listen to your puppet master.”

Shay opened his hand and stepped back. He pointed at Nile. “I swear to you… one misstep and I’m going to kill you.”

  “Promise?”

Shay looked down at the prospect on the ground. He swung his foot and kicked the guy in the ass. The guy rolled to his side and lifted his hand.

  “It hurts,” he whined.

  “Wimp,” Shay said.

There was so much happening at once that Ava’s eyes decided to just focus on Shay. She watched him walk right toward her. He put his hand out and Ava offered hers.

“We’re going for a walk,” Shay said.

  “Where?”

Shay looked at Ava. “You want to stay here with Nile?”

  “No. Please, no.”

“Good. Do you have a bag or something?”

“Outside. On the back of Trev’s motorcycle.”

  “Go get it. Now.”

Ava rushed outside to Trev’s ride and grabbed her bag. The bag contained her only belongings. Some clothes, feminine supplies, and the envelope that could crumble her whole world.

When Ava turned, Shay was standing at the door. He was really sexy and he was the only chance Ava had at being protected in Frelen.

Shay waved his hand for Ava to follow him and he took Ava to a room. He opened the door and pointed to go inside. It was a surprisingly clean room. The walls were bare except for a Back Down Devil banner that hung above the bed. The carpet was black, as was all the furniture. In the one corner was a mini fridge. On top was an array of liquor.

“You like to be alone, huh?” Ava asked.

“I like my club, my brothers, and my own time,” Shay said.

There were a few seconds of silence as Shay walked to a dresser. He took off his leather cut and started to unholster his weapons.

“What happens now?” Ava asked. “I mean… I don’t know why they came here. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do.”

Shay looked back at Ava. “You can go out there and get wasted if you want. I have no interest in it right now. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. And it’s going to get bloody. You figure out what you want to do and do it. If you want to tell me what you’re hiding, I’ll listen. But I can’t promise that I’ll protect you.”

“You’re hiding too, Shay. Your room confirms that.”

“My business isn’t yours,” Shay said. “I’m going to take a shower. The room is yours for right now. Sit. Think. Figure something out.”

Shay walked to the bathroom and shut the door. The water turned on a few seconds later and Ava slowly moved to the bed and sat down. She dropped her bag between her legs. She was safer here than in the clubhouse. She was safer with Back Down Devil than with the Lost Men. And she was safer with Shay than Trev. That much she knew.

When Ava looked to the bathroom door, she realized two things.

First, she could use a shower.

Second, she was told that she needed to earn her keep…

Ava stood and stripped. She left a neat pile of clothes on the bed. She reached back and unsnapped her bra, adding that to the pile. When she wiggled out of her panties, her mouth suddenly ran dry. She was already turned on just imagining what it would be like to touch Shay’s body.

She walked to the bathroom and was relieved to find the door unlocked. She stepped into the warm, foggy bathroom. The rush of steam and heat made her shiver, just enough to make her nipples harden and ache.

Ava couldn’t see through the black shower curtain, but Shay was in there. Slowly, she approached the shower, biting her bottom lip. She pulled the curtain open from the right, which turned out to be the back of the
shower. Peeking inside, she saw the backside of Shay.

A single tattoo stretched from the top of his spine to about halfway down his muscular back. It looked like some kind of vine. The rest was just bare skin. Beautiful, bare skin. His ass was firm and his legs were muscular and sexy.

Ava stepped into the shower and pulled the curtain shut.

Shay just stood there, the water beating against the front of his body. He didn’t acknowledge Ava and as much as she wanted to say something, this turned her on even more. It wasn’t the idea of being sneaky or even being ignored, it was just the silence that did it. She was already wet and she wanted to touch Shay. The less talking, the less chance of having to share something about herself.

With just a few more steps, Ava was close enough to Shay to feel the mist of water bouncing off his body. She got even closer, allowing her breasts to touch his back. Her erect nipples were tender and she bent her knees as a wave of pleasure ran through her body. Her left hand touched Shay’s side and then slid around, moving down his strong abs. She felt a small thatch of hair and then her hand wrapped around a thick, hard cock.

Gently, Ava stroked up and back just once. She let out a sigh and put her right hand out, bracing herself on the sweaty tile. She started to move faster as her hand was desperate to hold all of Shay’s thickness. She put her lips to Shay’s back and let out another sigh. The water allowed her hand to move with ease. Shay’s body started to move. He was trying to thrust at her hand. Each time he moved back and bumped into her stomach, it sent waves of heat through Ava’s body.

Faster and faster, Ava felt Shay’s body getting tighter. He let out a groan and sigh, making Ava want it more. She ran her lips and tongue along his back, groaning, wanting him to come. She whispered his name and tried to nibble at him, but he was all muscle.

“Keep going,” Shay finally said. “Faster.”

Ava did as she was told. She moved as fast as she could.

“Grip tighter,” Shay ordered. “Don’t let up, love.”

Ava bit her lip as her hand and wrist grew sore. She put her cheek to Shay’s back and started to breathe heavily. She could feel Shay thickening even more in her hand. When he finally let out a hiss and started to come, Ava’s mouth fell open and she lost her breath for a moment. Her hand continued to move fast up and down as his warm release spilled into her hand.

She slowed down before letting Shay go. Ava glanced at her hand to see the evidence of what she had just done.

Shay put his head back and let out a few breaths. He let the water rush upon him and then opened the shower curtain and left.

“It’s all yours,” Shay said from outside the shower.

  “Thanks,” Ava said.

“And I didn’t mean just the shower. Goes for my bed tonight, too. I’ll keep you safe for tonight.”

That was all the conversation needed.

Ava had apparently earned her keep.

  seven.

Shay dried off and dressed himself. He then stood and looked at himself in the mirror. Tomorrow they would have a big table meeting to decide on the protection ride for Jakey. Then they would need to take care of Eight Under. And if all went well, Shay would be able to track down his brother and take him out for good. If he told the truth to the MC, Miller might pull him off it. Or keep him in the background.

  And that just couldn’t happen.

Shay needed to kill his brother. He wanted to watch Caius die for all the horrible things he’d done to the world. Closing his eyes, Shay calmed himself the best he could before grabbing a bottle of whiskey. He opened it and chugged as much as his mouth and stomach could take. It burned and made him sick. Then he heard the shower turn off and he noticed Ava’s clothes were on the bed and her bag was on the floor.

The bathroom door opened and Ava stepped out, wearing nothing but a towel. Her dark hair looked even darker when wet. Her eyes were so blue. It was insane how beautiful Ava was.

  “What?” Ava asked.

“You need to get dressed,” Shay said with a grin.

“I assume you won’t give me a minute to myself?”

“Just gave you a shower to yourself,” Shay said. He took the bottle of whiskey and plopped down on his bed and sipped from the whiskey bottle. “Take your time, love. I’ve got all night.”

Ava grabbed her bag and put it on the bed. She opened it and took out clothes. She grabbed a pair of black, silky panties and held them up with one finger, smiling at Shay. He could feel himself getting hard again already. Ava turned and opened the towel, letting it fall. Shay looked at her smooth back and round ass. He sat up a little and when Ava looked over her shoulder, wet hair dangling in front of her face, she was like a dream come true.

Ava seductively bent over and stepped into her panties. She put them on and reached back to the bed for her bra. But Shay used his foot to flip the bra out of Ava’s reach.

  “Turn around, love,” Shay said.

Ava’s cheeks blushed. She took a breath and turned with her hands at her sides.

  “Holy fuck,” he whispered.

Ava’s breasts were perfect. Small with perky, rosy nipples. Much less than a handful for Shay, but they fit her small frame perfectly.

Shay reached forward and grabbed Ava’s bra. He tossed it to the floor and nodded. “Just put a shirt on,” Shay said. “And get in bed with me.”

Ava nodded and grabbed a t-shirt. As she put it on, Shay’s eyes moved up and down her stomach, subtle curves, and breasts. He wanted every inch of her body.

  “Drink?” Shay asked.

Ava climbed the bed, staying on her knees. She grabbed the bottle and took a long sip. “Thanks.”

Shay took the bottle back and with one more drink, he put it on the table. He reached for the light and turned it off. The room was mostly dark, but Shay could see Ava’s shadow. She came forward and climbed under the covers. She smelled amazing and her hair was still wet. Gently, Shay put his arm around Ava and pulled her close to him.

“They were talking about a war when they were talking about coming here to help,” Ava said.

  “That’s right.”

  “What is it about?”

“Life. Death. The usual.” Shay took a breath. “I was supposed to be killed.”

  “What?”

“Some assholes put a bomb in my car, except I wasn’t in the car when it went off. One of our brothers was though. Erik. He’s the one with the scars on his face from it.”

  “Wow.”

“Yeah. And it’s only gotten worse. More death. More bombings. A friend of the MC has been kidnapped. Now we have a rival teaming up with the guy that wants me dead.”

“Do you know who it is?” Ava asked.

Shay looked down at Ava. He didn’t want to lie to her, but that didn’t meant he would have to tell her truth. Instead of talking again, Shay pulled at Ava’s shirt. He lifted it and touched the top of her panties. He slipped his hand into the back of them and followed her ass down and around. Ava moaned and slid closer to Shay. The tips of his fingers touched her, but he kept going until he found her wet and tender center. With two fingers, Shay started to make circles. She clawed at his pants and bit at his shirt.

  “Damn,” she whispered.

“Damn,” Shay said. “I’m barely touching you, love.”

  “It’s been… a while…”

That comment caught Shay off guard. How could it have been that long? If she had been an old lady, she would have been getting it at least once a day. Then again, one of the Lost Men would probably want it four or five times a day.

But Ava was tight. Really tight.

Shay pressed two fingers into her wetness. He twisted his fingers and pulled them back out. Ava thrust back, groaning, wanting more. So Shay pressed his fingers into her harder. Using muscle, he pulled, almost bringing Ava on top of him. He thrust his fingers faster and faster.

Ava buried her face in his neck, moaning and whimpering. She thrust hard at his fingers. So hard that at one po
int Shay stopped moving his fingers and let Ava fuck them all by herself. It was so hot.

Finally, Ava came down and froze there, biting at his neck, whining as she started to come. Shay started to move his fingers again, guiding Ava through her orgasm. Judging by the throbbing of her pussy and the intensity of her orgasm, there was absolutely no way she had been fucked or touched in at least months.

When Shay took his fingers from Ava, he ran them up her ass, spreading her wetness along her body. He opened his hand to the small of her back and kept her close.

“Been a while,” Shay said, laughing.

  “Sorry… next time…”

“It’s all good, love. Close your eyes.”

Shay knew for sure this woman was not meant to be with the Lost Men. She had not been tapped like an old lady would have been. He started to get very angry at the thought that the clubhouse may be dealing with another situation. Erik’s old lady, Kaity, turned out not to be an actual rat, but Shay was in no position to trust an outsider. He had secrets that could get him killed, and he wasn’t about to let a piece of ass be the reason he dies.

Soon, Ava was peacefully asleep. Shay rolled her to the other side of the bed and he sat there, staring into the darkness.

Their grandfather was the first person Caius ever killed. Not that he deserved to live, but the kill was horrible to witness. Caius had arranged it for him and Shay to pull off the murder so they could earn respect from a crew their grandfather had been indebted with. The kill gave Cauis and Shay protection, but the cost…

The next time Shay opened his eyes, it was morning. He looked around the bedroom and stretched his neck. It hurt like hell from falling asleep sitting up. When he moved his hand, he bumped something. Better yet, he bumped someone. He looked over and saw Ava sleeping. She was on her back, her hair spread across the pillow. Shay turned slightly and stared down at Ava. She definitely didn’t belong here, but she couldn’t leave now.

He touched her face, stroking her soft cheek. Staring at Ava right then, Shay understood what Gaige, Landon, and Erik got out of choosing just one woman. This tender moment was all he could focus on while the war was raging outside.

Shay followed Ava’s face down to her neck and then to her t-shirt. When he touched her arm, she stirred and opened her eyes. For a split second she looked like she was going to take a swing at Shay. But she suddenly remembered where she was.
