Before real life intruded and slowed things up, I intended to issue “The Listening Post” alongside “The Train will Never Stop” chiefly to serve as a brief introduction to their shared character of Hunchy. The story is probably a bit too silly to fully stand on its own feet, but hopefully you've got as silly a sense of humour as I do. If you enjoyed this, why not go and read “The Train will Never Stop”? And if you didn't like “The Listening Post”, why not go and read “The Train will Never Stop”? It's got a very different feel to it, honest to God.
