Alphas In Love: The Complete Series Books 1 & 2 Page 11

by Tory Baker

I shiver as I turn off the shower and dry off. I comb through my dark locks and leave them loose, then slather my body in lotion.

Once I’m done, I do exactly as Jake asked of me. No he didn’t ask, he demanded. My body is already heightened from his words alone. Add in the thoughts I had during the shower and I’m wet and aching.

I climb up on the bed and sit exactly how Jake wants me, my legs spread for him. He doesn’t keep me waiting long. I hear the door open and close when he appears. My eyes never leaving his as he lets out a whoosh of breath and says, “Christ, Baby. Look at all that beauty and it’s all mine.”

I watch him as he makes his way to the bed, he’s not undressing as he gets closer though, and I want him as naked as I am. I go to sit up, making a move, and Jake grunts, “Stay. If you come near me right now, I’ll come before we’re both ready.”

I stay still after his confession. He pushes his shorts down and he’s standing naked before me, his cock now at level with my mouth. Jake brings his hands into my hair and guides me to where I want to be most. I lick the head and circle my tongue around him like he taught me, when his shaft is nice and slick from my mouth, only then do I take him fully inside.

“Fuck. That mouth of yours, baby,” he moans out as I take him to the back of my throat. We’ve had six weeks to learn each other’s likes and dislikes when it comes to foreplay.

He backs out of my mouth and says, “As much as I love your mouth and I fucking do, it’s been too damn long since I’ve been inside your cunt.”

He climbs up between my legs. I fall to my back, my legs wrapping around his hips, as he settles us how he wants. His cock is long and hard. The girth is something you’d read about in a romance novel. My fingers don’t touch at all when they’re wrapped around it. I’m not sure how he fits inside me, but when he does, it lights up my whole world.

“Want you on top this time,” he mumbles, as he flips his body with mine and I’m sitting astride him. He holds his cock out as I lift myself and fit the head of his cock into my pussy.

I lower inch by devastating inch. He’s so big and it feels so good. I tip my head back, the ends of my hair touch his thighs as I slowly fit all of him inside of me.

“You gotta move, Rissa,” he grunts.

I slowly lift up and down on him and he helps me along the way until he moves me again. We work each other slowly, so slowly. Not wanting this to end, when I’m all of a sudden up and off of him. I moan, “No.”

“Hands and knees,” I comply to him, wanting him back inside my body as soon as possible. I turn my head around and take in his features. He thrusts back inside of me and his gaze is locked on where we’re connected. I lay my upper body down on the mattress and grind back towards him as he pistons.

“Jake, I need more.” I plead to him. He grabs my hands and brings them back to his and holds me. My pussy tightens and I’m coming apart.

“Yes, yes, yes.” I scream out. I feel him pull out of me and flip my body over. He’s fisting himself and his thick rope of come is painting my body.

“Shit, I think I’ve died and gone to heaven,” Jakes growls as he lays down beside me.

“But what a way to go,” I say with a smile and a laugh. I snuggle into his side and bask in the afterglow of our lovemaking.

  Chapter Nineteen

  Jake

Feeling the heaviness in Larissa’s body as she sleeps is one of the most comforting feelings in the world. I don’t want to leave her, but I know I need to check on Eli and move him into our room for the night. Larissa always keeps a baby monitor close by and I saw it as soon as I walked into the bedroom. He didn’t make a peep, thank goodness. I love him with all of my heart, but Larissa and I needed each other.

It’s not like he’s old enough to spend the night with my parents and I don’t want to be that far away from him for the time being. A week away and I was a bear to deal with. Declan even called and told me to calm the fuck down. A lot of good it did. I worked from sunup to sundown, and in the end, I nailed a new contract and was able to secure opening a new factory out in California, too. It was a win-win. I let Declan know traveling is out for me for a while. Even with the use of the private jet, I can’t just take a six-week old baby with Larissa and I all over the world. He has shots, doctor’s appointments, and I want him to have stability.

Moving Larissa as not to wake her, I pull my shorts on and grab a washcloth to clean her up, move her body into the bed and under the covers. I wanted to come inside her so badly, but, with everything going on and wanting her so badly, I didn’t even ask her if she made plans for birth control or not.

I watch as she rests peacefully for a few moments before I go and grab our little guy. He’ll be wanting to eat before too long. When I was in the fridge earlier, I saw that Larissa had packages of breast milk ready to warm and put in a bottle. I plan on doing just that when Elijah wakes up.

Going to the pack and play I look down at him, his eyes are wide awake, he looks so much like me, from the color of my skin to the same shade of hair color. He has some of Larissa in him, mainly his mouth.

“Hey, buddy. It’s me and you for a little bit. Mommy needs her rest,” I tell him as I pick him up, taking a seat on the couch, getting us both comfortable until he starts rooting for Larissa or a bottle, and turn the television on.

I settle on a baseball game and hang out with our little man. When Eli starts squirming around, we go to the kitchen and I heat up his bottle after dumping the breastmilk in and heating it up. We head back to the couch where he eats and once he’s done, I burp him and lay back on the couch. He’s on my chest fast asleep. I should probably get up and move to the bedroom with Eli, yet I can’t. It’s been too long since I’ve held him while he’s slept. With that last thought, my eyes get heavy and I fall asleep.

  Chapter Twenty

  Larissa

I wake up cold and search for Jake. His side of the bed is empty, he’s not in the room. I go to the dresser and fish out a shirt of Jake’s and a pair of panties. I walk out to the living room and stop in my tracks. The two men that own my heart are sleeping. The lines in Jake’s face are gone and our precious baby boy is wrapped in his father’s arms. I go and grab my phone to snap a picture, making sure the flash is off. I take the picture and then go towards them.

Jake’s couch may look nice, but it isn’t the most comfortable. I know because I’ve fallen asleep on it a couple of times in the past week.

“Jake, honey.” I speak in a hushed tone so as not to jar both of them awake.

His eyes slowly open and I can see the lines around his face, as he wakes up with a smile. “We must have fallen asleep.”

“You did, want to come to bed?” I ask.

“Yeah, this couch is hell on my back. I don’t know what I was thinking when I bought it,” he says, as he gets up easily and holding onto Eli without it looking like any work at all.

“My sentiments exactly. I think the couch should stay here when we move,” I tell him honestly.

“That’s something we’ll be doing tomorrow,” Jake states.

  “What? Couch shopping?” I question.

“No, well, maybe. Depends on how fast we can find a house.” I smile as he says that. I can’t wait to create a home with him.

“You have yourself a date,” I say with a wink, as we walk into the bedroom together.

“Best moment of my life was getting that call and finding you pregnant in the lobby, it’s only getting better, every single day. The next one after that was the birth of Eli and believe me, there’s going to be a fuck of a lotta great memories we still haven’t made yet,” he tells me.

“I’m ready to make those with you,” I say, looking into his eyes. We may not have spoken those three words, but we both show each other in everything we do.

“Come on, baby. Let’s get us all into bed. Elijah will be up before we know it and we have plans,” he replies.

I follow his lead and slide into bed as he settles Eli
into the bassinet his mom bought for us. It’s beautiful and has a classic design. One that can be used for a boy or a girl, Katrina said. I know what she was getting at. I didn’t correct her or tell her what plans Jake and I have, mainly because we haven’t discussed them, but I think along with house hunting we’ll be doing, a long discussion may be necessary, too.

  Chapter Twenty-One

  Jake

The ring I bought Larissa out in California is burning a hole in my damned pocket. I wanted my mom to come with me, but she and Mack had plans, plus she was helping Larissa. That was more important, so I Face Timed her once I found the perfect one. She cried when she saw it. It really is perfect for her.

It’s a two carat French set halo, platinum in color, with diamonds along the band, and leads up to a bigger diamond. It’s got a classic beauty, much like Larissa does.

It’s perfect for her and as soon as we find the perfect house to make our home, I’m going to slide this ring on and show the world just who she belongs to. I was going to ask her as soon as I was back from California, but it didn’t feel right. This way we’ll be in the home we chose together when it happens.

“Ready? The realtor is at the first house,” Larissa breaks the silence.

“Yeah, Elijah sleeping?” I question back.

“Yes, he’s with your mom and I packed my breast pump in case this takes all day,” she says as she carries a bag with her. I take it off her shoulder, carrying it as I escort her into the living room.

We stop and say our goodbyes to Eli and my mom. I hate to leave him here, but it’ll be much easier on him and us. Still, it guts me.

I watch Rissa bend down and kiss our son, but my eyes are glued to her ass. She’s wearing leggings again, with an oversized sweater and ankle boots. When she bends over though, I get a clear view of her heart shaped ass. An ass I’ll be taking and taking it soon.

“Mommy loves you, baby boy,” she coos to Eli.

“We’ll be perfectly okay. I promise,” my mother tells Larissa. I see the tears glistening in her eyes. She doesn’t want to leave Elijah any more than I do. I’ll be making this up to her as soon as possible. Fuck, I’ll be making it up to myself, too. I’m making tomorrow a much-needed family day, where we sit and veg with Elijah while we ignore the outside world.

“I know. You’re the best Grammie I could ever ask for, I’ll just miss him and well…you know. It’s my first time leaving him,” Larissa mumbles out.

“If we have any problems, I’ll call right away,” my mom explains.

“Thank you,” I tell mom and kiss her forehead then bend down to glide my finger down Eli’s chin, giving him a kiss on his forehead.

He may only be six weeks old, but he has my heart. Much like his mother does.

I grab Larissa’s hand, knowing if we don’t leave now, we won’t ever.

“Come on, Baby. Let’s go find our boy a home,” I tell her as we head to the elevator.

“Yeah, okay. Maybe we’ll get lucky and it won’t take too long?” She questions with hope in her voice.

“Probably, with the list I sent over to the realtor on what we both wanted. I don’t see us needing to look at a hundred properties. Do you?”

“No, and if it’s not perfect, we can always make it perfect for us later on,” she replies with a smile.

I bring her in close to my body. Her face is tilted up towards me and I lean down into her. I take her mouth in a searing kiss, we make out like two lovesick teenagers until the elevator dings.

When we part, her smile is back, and her tears are dried.

  Chapter Twenty-Two

  Larissa

“Jake!” I scream. This is our third home tour of the day and it’s the best freaking one ever. It’s a historical home from the early nineteen-hundreds and it’s in the historical district. I’m in freaking love. Sure, it needs some exterior work. Like paint and landscaping, but for the most part it’s perfect. I’m already envisioning the walls being painted a light grey color. It would really pop with all of the white trim work and the dark oak floors. It’s incredible.

“Yeah, Baby,” he replies, as he sneaks into the kitchen. The realtor and him were talking out front about the sidewalk that was cracked. I couldn’t wait much longer. The pictures did not do this property justice.

“Can we please, please, please buy this one? I know I won’t be contributing a lot of money right away, but I will be going back to work when Eli’s older. Maybe something I can do from home, so he won’t have to be in daycare,” I plead with him.

“Have you seen the rest of the house yet? You know I don’t give a goddamn if you ever work again. We haven’t discussed everything yet, but when we do, you’ll know my thoughts, too.” That’s all he has to say and he’s right. I haven’t, but I’m already half in love with what I’ve seen. They somehow opened up some of the walls, and yet kept the integrity of it.

“Well, no. Look how gorgeous this is, the rest of the house is probably just as gorgeous, if not more so. I know we haven’t talked about our future, but I’d like to soon If possible?” My eyes are looking at his and I see the mirth in them.

“Let’s go look. The outside doesn’t need too much. We’ll still need a general contractor. I’m a lot of things, baby, but a GC isn’t one of them,” he says as he grabs my hand and we walk around the big two-story house.

We walk through what will be Eli’s room, and three other bedrooms. I get my hopes up, praying that we’ll have more than just one child running around. There’s one bathroom by those four bedrooms and on the other end of the hall is the master bedroom. Two heavy double doors open and it’s amazing. The craftsmanship is out of this world. There’s a wood burning chimney, a seating area, a huge closet, and an even better master bathroom. It even has a claw foot tub.

“You like it, Larissa,” Jake asks.

“I don’t like it. I love it,” I squeal as I jump into his arms. My back meets the wall in the bedroom and my hands dive into his hair as I kiss him.

Jake breaks our kiss, but holds me against the wall with his body as he says words that I will never ever forget. “I’m so thankful to have you in my life, so fucking happy you’re our boys’ mom, and I’m so lucky you’re mine. All mine. I. Love. You,” he says with conviction.

I’m in tears, they’re rolling down my cheeks and Jake watches me as I say those three words I’ve been holding back, but not anymore. No way, he deserves to know.

“I love you, with my whole heart, for my whole life.”

We kiss each other, my hands are fisting in his shirt to rip it over his head. He stops my hands and reminds me, “The realtor is down the hall.”

“Well, shit,” I say, and we laugh together until our rampant hormones calm down.

  Chapter Twenty-Three

  Jake

We sign the paperwork with the realtor, putting in a contract for the full asking price, and to close by the end of the month. Which is only in fourteen days, but this is where money talks and bullshit walks.

The realtor said he’d have an answer within twenty-four hours. He seemed hopeful. The house has been on the market for a few months and in this climate, that’s too long.

We’re back home, well really, the condo. Walking in, it felt more like a home with Eli and Larissa here. We’ve just outgrown it. A one bedroom and one-bathroom condo just isn’t working anymore.

“How’d house hunting go?” Mom asks, as soon as we enter the front door.

“It went great. We put an offer on a house. Now we just wait to see if they’ll accept,” I tell her. Larissa is already on the move to the pack and play. She looks down and I see the joy in her face when Eli looks up and sees his mom.

She picks him, placing him on her chest. She sits down in the rocking chair we picked up from Target after Eli was born, unbuttons her shirt, pulling her bra out of the way, and he latches on instantly.

“That’s great news, you guys. Keep us posted and we’ll help as much as possible,” she says.
/>   “Thanks, and thank you for watching Eli,” I tell her.

“Oh, he was a bundle of joy. Barely made a peep of a noise,” mom tells me as she goes to the front door, “I better get going. Mack wants to go to the country club tonight and play cards with the old folks.”

“Don’t have too much fun,” I chuckle, as I walk her to the door and kiss her cheek.

  “Love you guys,”

  “Love you too,” Larissa says.

“Love you, Mom,” I watch her walk to the elevator and wait until she’s safely inside before I turn to shut the door.

“I loved having our time together, but I really missed Eli. Apparently, so did my breasts,” she snorts.

“I missed the little guy, too. It wasn’t the same without him,” I agree with her.

I stand beside her and massage the back of her neck. She moans, it instantly has me hard and wanting more of what we started but couldn’t finish.

She helps Eli unlatch from one side and puts him on her other breast. She leaves the one she just pulled him off of out and I once again thank my lucky stars that my best friend came back to me.

  Chapter Twenty-Four

  Larissa

I wake up to the most delicious feeling in the world, almost on the brink of orgasm, my head is thrown back and I reach one of my hands down to Jake’s head that is in between my legs. His tongue and mouth are working me over and I’m moaning my life away. Jake’s hand reaches up and covers my mouth as he nips my clit as I come on a cry.
