They went wild with applause and whistles and cheers while Catherine blushed but she couldn’t keep a smile from her face.
Just as she wanted, they dined, they danced, and they drank and then they went home, together.
And this is happily ever after….
In Connor’s masculine bedroom, on the rumpled sheets that hadn’t been pulled up and in the bed he hadn’t bothered to make when he got up they came together with the ferocity of mating tigers in the wild. Without coyness Catherine stripped to her skin and came to him hungry, desire weaving a magic spell around them in the air. Connor shucked his garments; shed them with the speed of a snake leaving behind an old skin, his shaft hard and ready.
They knelt facing one another on the bed as he kissed her, his face soft with such gentle love that she felt it refresh her like a quiet rain. That first kiss kindled into fire, a roaring conflagration that consumed them both even as it renewed their hearts. First they joined hands, then bodies and they rode together, a delightful ride that carried them both from the ordinary room into a bliss filled nirvana. Sensations sparked between them and shimmered as they stirred every sensual nerve into ecstasy.
When Connor entered her moist vagina she cried out with the utter joy, the physical pleasure underlined with love. They strained together until they reached one peak, then another, and a third before they collapsed, sated and together onto the bed. After she caught her breath, Connor began again and they made love in a timeless chain of acts that lasted through the night into the morning.
Afterward they slept, content and comfortable. When Catherine woke, they remained cuddled and made pillow talk, sweet, significant, and soft.
“Don’t ever leave me,” she whispered as her hands caressed his chest.
“I won’t,” Connor promised, “and I’ll never let you go.”
“Good.”
He toyed with her left hand, stroked each finger and then slid something onto the third finger. Catherine felt the weight and raised her hand so she could see but he blocked the view with his hands. “What is it?”
He laughed, “Cats need a collar, don’t they Kitty Cat?”
Catherine pushed his hands out of the way and gasped with wonder at the ring on her finger. If she was right it sparkled with a full cut, one carat Marquis cut diamond.
“It’s beautiful,” she breathed.
“Give me an answer and you might get to keep it,” Connor said.
“What’s the question?”
“Will you marry me?”
Catherine grinned at him through a veil of tears, “Yes, Connor, I will. I’ve waited to marry you since I was nine years old.”
“Then it’s yours,” he told her. “But there’s a catch.”
“What’s that?”
“You’re mine.”
Her joy bubbled into laughter that echoed in the room like chimes and Catherine raised her engagement ring to catch the light, to watch the sparkles make rainbows on the ceiling.
“I can live with that,” she said, “but only for the rest of my life.”
“That’ll do,” Connor Donavan said.
And so it would.
The End
