The Ice King On My Hate Page 16

He folded me into his arms and pressed my ear to his chest. “I’m never letting you go again Jasmine. That collar goes back on today, and nobody will ever take you away from me.”

I hugged him back as tight as I could. My ribs were indeed broke, in three places, so I still hurt when I do certain things.

He felt me flinch and let go to begin a physical inspection the lack of lighting in the bedroom didn’t allow for last night. “Where else are you hurt? I’m going to kill Joe if let you get hurt.”

I dug my fingers into his whiskers until his eyes settled on mine. “No, you won’t. I’m home now. Let that be enough. Once you calm down you’ll be as grateful for their help as I am. I get a second chance at life now, one free from constantly hiding and running. I’m home Master, let’s just move on.” I urged.

He didn’t look happy about it, but he nodded anyway. “Let’s get you fed, you look too skinny again. Why don’t you ever eat?” He complained dragging me to the living room without giving me a chance to brush my teeth too.

“What exactly were you thinking when you threw my shit all over the house?” I laughed seeing the mess again.

“I was trying to surround myself with your scent. It only worked for a few days.” He pointed to Arrow who is wagging his tail by the door to be let out. “Then that asshole farted and ruined it.”

I laughed giving Arrow a hug and kiss before Fletcher let him outside. “I missed his nasty farts.”

“He missed you too. Fucker moped around worse than me for the first few weeks. Then I think he gave up hoping you were going to come back at all. I was starting to wonder that myself.” He complained while I found something clean and warm to put on before making breakfast.

“I still think we should move the bike back inside. The guilt is killing me.”

“She’s fine. I gave her a good winterizing. Next year she’ll be in a heated garage along with our trucks.” He pulled on a pair of jeans and joined me in the kitchen to distract me while I hunt down food.

“Garage? Are you building a garage?”

He filled his hands with breasts under my shirt and whispered in my ear. “This Spring we’re putting a cabin up on our mountain. No more living in this shed after this winter.”

I spun around and jumped him. Arrow barked signaling he’s ready to come back in so Fletcher had to set me down breaking our kiss. “Sorry babe, don’t want the dog to freeze out there.”

“There’s that word again.” I laughed and turned the stove on to fry up some eggs and sausages.

“What word?” Arrow came trotting in and shook water and snow all over me, and the kitchen.

“Hey!!!” I shielded myself just before Fletcher threw a towel over his back.

“I think that’s his way of saying welcome, but don’t ever leave me again or I’ll cover you in snow.” He began rubbing Arrow down vigorously making for one very happy German Shepard.

I reached down and scratched the top of his head, “Don’t worry buddy, mommy’s home.” I looked up, “Did you call me ‘babe’ again?”

“Nope. You’re hearing things. Probably a side effect of too much sex.” He teased and tossed the towel to the chair by the table we used to share uncomfortable meals at.

“Is there a such thing as too much sex?” I turned my attention back to the hot pan and began dropping the sausage links in one at a time.

“Not until you can’t walk and I can’t draw a breath into my lungs.” He came back with his wandering hands and kissed my neck. “Marry me.”

“I thought you didn’t need paperwork to be married?” I turned to look and see if he’s serious.

“You’re legal now right? Joe gave you a new ID right?”

“Well yeah, of course he did.”

“Good. We’ll get married legally in the spring and start making that baby whenever you’re ready. I want my family to have my last name, legally. We’re both getting a second chance here Jasmine, I won’t let it slip away.” He promised.

The grease popped in the pan behind me making me jump. “Shit. Sorry. I’m still a little jumpy.”

“How did you break your ribs?” He asked stepping back now to watch me cook and listen.

I went ahead and relayed the whole story over breakfast. Fletcher went from angry to grateful slowly, but he made it. He’s come a long way in the last year, so have I.

No more running, no more being afraid of anything more than a good spanking from my Master. After everything I’ve been through I’ll take the spanking any day.

“Not that I care, or want it, but what happened to the money?”

I smiled and bounced my eyebrows, “Joe had to do a little laundering, but let’s just say Slider is now more than ready to move the club to bigger and better location. Sal is going to spread some out over her charities too. All in all it’s going to good causes.” I shrugged, “It was the least I could do since Exiles just saved my life, and gave me a new one.”

“Remind me to send a thank you card.” He half rolled his eyes.

“I think we can do better than that. I want to go back to visit every year.”

He nodded, “We will. It’ll be a short visit next year, we have a lot of work to do come spring with the new cabin coming and all.” He reminded me.

I took a deep breath and sat back to take in the view.

My Ice King obliterated The Hate Cake with the look af adoration for me on his face. “What?”

“It’s just good to be home. I missed you so much. I can’t tell you how much because I don’t think the words exist.”

He almost smiled with a twinkle in his eyes, “I’m just glad you’re home to clean, this place is a mess.”

“Master!!” I laughed automatically putting my hand to my side.

He looked a little concerned then replied, “It’s Fletcher baby. My name is Fletcher. Master is for fun now. Just promise me when I tell you to do something out there, that you’ll do it.”

My left eyebrow went up. “I promise. Master.” I barely got the smile out before he chased me to the bedroom.
