  Dear Solace,

I can’t imagine living on an island for a year. I’m not surprised you were sick of it by the end. There’s no way I’d do that, myself. Not for love or money. Then again, I suppose it would depend on how much money we’re talking about…

I hope you’re not just kidding about visiting Altolinda sometime. I’d love to see you again. Trust me, there’s a lot more to see and do around here than you might think.

Hm. Something I’ve never done but always wanted to. I’d have to say write a movie. Seriously. I’ve always toyed with the idea, but never felt competent enough to sit down and do it. Maybe I should try. After all, I lived through the whole history of Eridia, so I’ve got plenty of first-hand knowledge to draw on. The time period I’d be most interested in writing about would be the early Age of Chaos, maybe even the fall of New Portland! The strife and uncertainty of that period was pretty awful at the time, but it makes for exciting viewing thousands of years after the fact.

It might surprise you, but I’m quite the movie buff. I remember when the technology first appeared, I thought it was ridiculous that people would just sit there gaping at things that weren’t real for hours on end, but over time I too got sucked into the darn things, and now I’ve become one of those folks who can name every Wasp House film Yar Michelleinian appeared in.

Your turn. Something you’ve never done but always wanted to.

  Till next time,

  —Reynard
