Ridge got closer to push his cock against her arm. Was he trying to get her to give him his turn? She would, but not until she was ready.
Matching her hand’s rhythm to her mouth’s, she pumped the two men. Their cocks grew longer, harder. She could feel their bodies tensing up, and it thrilled her to know she could bring them close to the end so quickly.
As though he’d heard her thoughts, Colter eased his cock out of her mouth and stepped back. “I’m going to blow before I’m ready, babe. Or is that what you had in mind?”
She didn’t answer. Instead, she pressed a hand to Adam’s leg, telling him to move in front of her. He did, clutching her hair again as she brought his shaft into her mouth.
It was strange how two men could taste so much alike and yet so different. She whipped her tongue around his cock then hollowed her cheeks. He planted his feet apart, the low curse words he uttered changing into a deep moan.
“Switch hands, baby.” Ridge guided her hand to his length. “That’s it. Easy. Don’t go yanking it off.”
She smiled, knowing the shape of her mouth would bring a different sensation to Adam. He groaned and worked his hips forward and backward, driving his cock farther inside, only to take it away.
The dark night shielded them from view, yet even if it hadn’t, she wouldn’t have cared. Nothing would take them from her. Nothing would stop her insatiable need to fill her mouth with cum and her pussy with seed.
Like never before, she was a wild woman, intent on having the three of them. Inhibitions that might have stopped her before were gone. A primal urge, an instinct so raw it shuddered through her overwhelmed her. Was it because of them? Yet, it didn’t matter. She couldn’t stop herself.
Adam was lost in the heat of the moment. Like her, she doubted he could stop. Picking up speed, she did her best to make him give her what she craved. Her hand cupped his balls and she felt them tighten. For men so worldly, so virile, they headed to a conclusion fast. She wanted to think it was because she was different, special. Did she dare ask?
She pumped Adam harder until she was sure he’d lose control at any second. When he stiffened, his body going rigid with anticipation, she circled her tongue around his cock.
“Shit.” Digging his fingers into her hair, he kept her mouth on him as he turned his climax free.
She swallowed as fast and hard as she could but couldn’t keep up. His seed spilled over, sliding down her chin to drip onto her breasts.
“Shit.” Again, he cursed. Pulling his cock away from her, he stumbled back until the backs of his knees struck the seat. He collapsed. A stunned, yet satisfied expression filled his face. “Damn it. I couldn’t hold back. It—you—felt so fucking good.”
She squealed as Ridge grabbed her arm roughly and jerked her to her feet. If any other man had done the same, she would’ve fought back. But with Ridge, as it would be with Adam or Colter, it was good.
Taking her off her feet, he fell backward until he could sit. Bringing her down on top of him, he speared her, his cock shoving into her pussy.
She gasped from the quickness of it as much as from the width of his cock filling her pussy. Either her eyesight or her judgment had been off. He felt bigger, longer than she would’ve thought possible.
Her breasts bounced, the tips of her nipples raking over the dark hair on his chest. Her hair danced around her shoulders as she locked her gaze to his silver one.
“Fuck me, Marlee. Fuck me as hard as you can.”
She pushed down, shoving against him with all the strength she had. Her hard puffs of air accented the sounds of tree frogs.
“Bend, babe. I’m coming in.”
The sensation of Colter’s fingers in her ass caught her breath in her throat. He scissored his fingers, willing her tight hole to give in. The feeling was a new one, a strange one, but a good one. “Are you going to tell me to stop?”
“No.” She leaned forward, thrusting out her ass as far as she could without losing Ridge’s cock.
“Easy, babe. Don’t worry. I’ll get it in.”
He wouldn’t hurt her even if he didn’t use any lube. At least not much. She didn’t know why, but she knew it was the truth.
As though he’d heard her thoughts, he added, “Trust me. I’ve got you prepared. It’ll hurt, but not a lot. Just enough to be good.”
Her hair fell in front of her face. Closing her eyes, she listened to her body and soaked in every sting and thrill they gave her.
When Colter put his cock to her hole then slid inside, she was sure she’d break apart. Pain struck, but as he’d promised, it was gone quickly. Her body tightened, readying for her climax. Crying out, she brought Ridge’s mouth to her breast. He sucked, biting and licking her until her taut bud felt so tender, so sweet.
Ridge tunneled his fingers into her hair and took her head in his hands. “Look at me.”
She did as he ordered and was surprised to see trails of steam rising around them. Or was it smoke? Had a fog rolled in?
“Come for me, baby. Now.”
She was oh-so ready. Ready to give them whatever they wanted. Ready to give them more than only her body. How had she come to need them so fast?
Grinding against Ridge, she put her head down and let her orgasm explode. Her screams mixed with roars of pleasure from Ridge and Colter as their own releases erupted. She collapsed against Ridge and found his heart beating as fast as hers.
Minutes passed before she cared that anyone might have heard them. As Ridge eased her onto the seat next to him, she was struck by the absence of the fog that had surrounded them only a few moments before. Or had it been steam? Perhaps smoke?
“Where’d it go?”
“Where’d what go?” Ridge reached under the seat and opened the compartment below. He pulled out several large towels and tossed one to each of them.
“The fog or whatever it was. I thought it was steam at first, but now I’m not sure. I would’ve sworn it smelled like smoke.”
Judging from the glances they exchanged, they knew what she was talking about.
“Beats me. Although it did get hot enough to make steam.” Colter finished wiping himself off. Taking her towel from her, he retrieved first her sundress then his clothes.
Watching the men get dressed was almost as good as watching them take their clothes off. Desire lashed at her again, but she pushed it down. She’d already risked getting seen by another boater and didn’t want to push her luck.
“Get dressed, baby.” Ridge slicked back his hair. “We’re heading back to the dock.”
Colter cupped the back of her neck and traced his thumb along her jaw. “Don’t worry, Marlee. This is only the first of many times to come.”
He must’ve seen her disappointment at going back to the real world. Which meant he had to see her elation at his promise. But what exactly was the promise? A few months of sexual fun? Or could she hope for more?
She sat back and watched the waves slapping at the sides of the boat. Being a female in a male-dominated profession had taught her to keep her emotions in check. Part of her had given up on finding a man who was strong enough to accept her as his equal. But now that she’d met three incredibly strong alpha male types, could she let herself dream? Could she have it all? The work she was born to do along with love and a family?
Chapter Seven
“I gotta admit. You looked pretty good out there.”
Marlee’s breath caught in her throat. When had Jack ever complimented her? Keeping her back to him, she put away her gear and refused to look at him. “Thanks.”
They’d returned from another suspicious fire earlier in the day. She’d only now finished cleaning her gear, getting it ready for the next call. Bending over, she placed her black boots inside her locker.
The feel of Jack’s crotch shoved against her ass jolted her. His hand groped her butt cheek. “How about we bury the hatchet?”
She pivoted around and shoved him back. “Sure. I’ll go first and bury it in your junk.”

bsp; Jack’s lecherous chuckle blew foul breath over her. The stench of alcohol stung her nostrils. “You’ve been drinking.”
Drinking or doing drugs on the job was against the rules and was grounds for an immediate suspension and internal review. Part of her liked the idea that she’d caught him stink-faced. Then again, she hated to see any firefighter lose his job. She’d have to report him. He could endanger everyone who worked with him.
He leered. “How about you join me out back for a drink or two?”
“Back off. I’m going to have to report you. You aren’t giving me any choice.”
Instead of stepping away, he lunged at her. Grabbing her arms, he yanked them above her head. He put his mouth close to her ear, his chest pushing against her breasts, his crotch hard against her stomach. “The fuck you will.”
“Let me go, damn it.”
“Or what, bitch? Go ahead and scream. Even if they believe you over me, they’re going to know you can’t take care of yourself.”
“Jack, I’m warning you. All I have to do is scream and the others will come running.”
“Think again, bitch. Everyone’s watching a game. Even if they do come, they’ll finally realize that a woman has no place as a firefighter. Unless it’s to give head when the men come back from a run.” He slicked his tongue along the curve of her neck.
She struggled, but it was no use. He was stronger, bigger. “Let me go.”
Holding both her wrists in one hand, he brought the other down and cupped her breast. She moaned, fear taking hold.
“You like that, huh, bitch?” He pressed down, hard, causing her more pain. “I’m going to fuck you so hard you won’t walk straight.”
He grabbed the top of her jeans and tugged them open. She started to shout for help, but he captured the sound with his mouth. Squirming as hard as she could, she still couldn’t free herself. He shoved his leg between hers, making it impossible to kick him.
Suddenly, a growl, as terrifying as any animal’s, rumbled over them. Jack spun around, giving her a chance to see what was behind him. What she saw surprised her and filled her with joyful relief.
“Colter.”
Yet, although it was Colter, it wasn’t. His face appeared slightly distorted, his silver eyes tinged with flashes of red. She stared at him, unsure if she could believe her eyes.
“What the fuck?” Jack sidled to the left.
The muscle in Colter’s jaw clenched and released then clenched again. “Don’t ever touch her again.”
She remained where she was, too stunned, yet too enthralled to move. Colter was a strong man, a man who could easily take the older man. And yet, he stayed where he was. Not out of fear, but for another reason.
He’s controlling himself. Like he’s afraid he’ll hurt Jack, really hurt him, if he lets himself go.
“Who the hell do you think you are to order me around? This is my station. Get the fuck out before I throw you out on your ass.”
Colter’s smile held a wicked edge. “Try it.”
Jack’s bravado died. “Look. I don’t want any trouble.”
“But you’ll get it if I see you near Marlee again.”
She didn’t have any doubt Colter could tear Jack apart. And that he would if Jack bothered her again. “Colter, it’s okay.”
“He”—Colter’s gaze shifted to her jeans—“touched you.”
“I’m all right.”
His attention shifted back to Jack. The older man looked as though he was ready to run. “He needs to pay.”
She had to take charge. Although she liked that Colter was ready to fight for her, she wasn’t the type of woman who needed someone to fight her battles. Still, having a handsome man ready to stand up for her was not only flattering but also hot as hell. “I’ll handle it.”
“Like you were handling it just now?”
She fisted her hands. “Back off, Colter.”
Jack’s stiffened body relaxed. “See, asshole? She liked it. Me and her? We’re a— Ugh!”
Her swift kick to his groin ended his sentence. Jack bent over, shielding his crotch a minute too late.
“We’re nothing, Jack, and we never will be.” She leaned over and got in his face. “If you ever put your dirty hands on me again, I’m going to cut them off.”
She whirled around to find Colter back to his usual pleasant self, a huge grin captivating his face. Where were the bits of red now?
“Way to go, babe.”
“Come with me.” Snagging his shirt, she pulled him along with her, leaving a moaning Jack behind. She hurried through the station then out the door into the back parking lot.
“You sure showed him—”
Whirling around, she pulled him to her. Her mouth possessed his as the yearning she’d had since leaving the boat swamped her fresh and raw. He answered back, tugging her body against his. His tongue plundered her mouth, and she could feel his own need coming to life.
When at last they parted, she was breathless but ready for more. “Where the fuck have you been?”
“We had business to tend to.”
“I want you, Colter. I want you and Ridge and Adam.” They came together again, there in the parking lot in broad daylight, her need overwhelming any concern that her coworkers would see them.
They fell against the building, his back to the stone as he lifted her off her feet. She wrapped her legs around his waist and pushed her heat toward him. Rushing, she pulled his shirt out of his jeans and found his muscled chest. She mewled, hungry, needy, determined to have him.
She was so intent on fucking him that, at first, she didn’t hear the alarm.
He groaned and forced her legs off him. “Marlee. You’ve got to go.”
Her mind was foggy, her thoughts solely on him. “What?”
He tilted his head to the side, listening. “Fire.”
“Shit.” Getting stable on her feet again, she forced herself to step away from him. “When can I see you? All of you?”
“Don’t worry, babe. We’ll catch up with you.” He took her by the shoulders and turned her to face the door. “Now go be a hero.”
“Damn. Sometimes being a hero sucks.” She grinned and reconsidered staying. But he was right. She had a job to do. Giving him a quick kiss that made her need jump up another heat level, she opened the door and rushed inside.
* * * *
The fire in a Dumpster didn’t take long to put out. Still, there was something about it that bothered Marlee.
“Looks like we’ve got a firebug.” Walt pushed his helmet back on his head.
“Looks like.” She studied the Dumpster. Whatever had her on edge didn’t have anything to do with the trash container.
“Is that what’s bothering you? We’ve had firebugs before. Sooner or later, they all get busted.” Walt chuckled. “Or is it because the alarm interrupted your make-out session?”
“Sorry?” Heat filled her neck and flowed into her cheeks. She’d thought no one had seen her with Colter.
He bumped against her good-naturedly. “Don’t go worrying. I’m the only one who saw you two. And just so you know, I wasn’t snooping. I just happened to look out the back window at the right time.”
“Oh hell, Walt.” She could barely look him in the eye. “I hope you know I don’t usually do that kind of thing.” At least not until three sexy men had come along.
“I know. You’re a class act all the way. So he’s the one you want? Not the other two?”
“The other two?” As if she didn’t know who he meant.
He arched an eyebrow.
“Actually, I like all three.”
His eyebrow jumped higher. “All three, huh? Well hell. I can’t say I’m not surprised but to each their own. As long as they treat you right, they’re okay with me.”
“Gee, thanks for your approval, Dad,” she joked.
“So, is that what’s got you so deep in thought?”
“No. I was thinking about the fire.”
“It was de
finitely set, but it’s not our concern. Let the investigators handle the who-done-it part. All we have to do is put the flames out.”
She scanned the area again, this time taking in more of the building. Looking back at the street, she suddenly figured out what was really bothering her. “Does this place look familiar?”
“Yeah. It’s the same place where the car fire was.”
“Yeah. That’s it. And the house fires were in this area, too. How could I not remember until now?” Max’s car had been set on fire at the curb. And now a Dumpster next to his building had been the target. Had the same person set both fires? As for the others, the house fires could’ve been set to confuse the investigators.
“I mentioned it to the captain.”
“Don’t you think it seems suspicious? I mean, more than in a firebug way. Like he’s not setting the fires to get off, but like he’s trying to get back at someone.”
“Yeah, I get what you mean. I’ve been getting the same feeling. Could be that Max guy has a few enemies. He struck me as the type who could rub people the wrong way.”
Like Clay and maybe even Kyle.
Could Kyle be involved in setting fires? She couldn’t believe he would, but then again, whenever he was in love, he tended to follow the other person’s lead.
“Do you have any ideas, Marlee?”
“No.” She couldn’t say anything more. If she did, she might get her brother in trouble. Instead, she’d figure it out on her own.
“I’ll mention our suspicions, but like I said, let’s leave it to the others to do the Sherlock part.” He tapped her on the arm. “Back to the station.”
She let him go on without her, once more searching the area. What was she looking for? And if she found evidence incriminating her brother or his new boyfriend, what would she do? With her stomach in knots, she pivoted around and made her way back to the truck.
She’d just gotten into the cab when she saw him. Clay stood across the street, staring at the building. His smile sent a chill down her spine.
“Hang on.” Shoving her shoulder against the door, she hopped out and started striding toward him. “Hey, Clay.”
