  About the Authors

  Annabeth Leong

Annabeth Leong has written erotica of many flavors -- dark, romantic, kinky, vanilla, straight, lesbian, bi, and menage. She enjoys both mint chocolate and salted chocolate, but also has a soft spot for sour gummy candy. Her work has been published by Cleis, Xcite, Circlet, Coming Together, and others. She believes passionately in freedom of speech, rights for people of all sexual orientations, and freedom of religion. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island.

  Giselle Renarde

Giselle Renarde is a queer Canadian, avid volunteer, contributor to well over 50 short story anthologies, and author of dozens of electronic and print books, including Anonymous, Nanny State, Audrey & Lawrence, Ondine, Secret Confessions, and The Red Satin Collection. Ms Renarde lives across from a park with two bilingual cats who sleep on her head. She loves a girl who loves photography and science fiction.

  Lexie Bay

Lexie started writing to immerse herself in a fantasy world where women are adored and men fall at their feet. Then she realised that sometimes men do that so you can stomp all over them in your sexy stiletto boots and since then she’s been creating stories that stay true to her original romantic dream while exploring the erotic, the kinky and the downright filthy. She finally found the courage to unleash them onto the world and now writes about anything that emerges from the murky depths of her imagination, whenever she gets the opportunity.

Lexie lives with her husband and two daughters on the south coast of England, and spends her days working as an accounts manager. She loves chocolate, theme parks, BBQs on the beach and cosy winter Sundays and her dream is to write full time.

You can find her stories in Uniform Behaviour and Seducing The Myth edited by Lucy Felthouse and in Immoral Views published by Kojo Black at Sweetmeats Press

  Lily Harlem

Lily Harlem is a multi-published, award winning author of contemporary erotic romance. She lives in the UK with her husband and a bunch of animals, all rescued, and loves to spend her days immersed in imagination.

Her books are a mixture of full length novels and short stories, some are one offs, some are sequels or part of a series (all can be enjoyed as stand-alone reads). What they each have in common are colourful characters travelling on everyone’s favourite journey — falling in love. If the story isn’t deliciously romantic and down and dirty sexy, it won’t be written, at least not by Lily.

So with the bedroom door left well and truly open you are warned to hang on for a steamy, sensual ride - or rides as the case might be!

  Lucy Felthouse

Lucy Felthouse is a very busy woman! She writes erotica and erotic romance in a variety of subgenres and pairings, and has over seventy publications to her name, with many more in the pipeline. These include Best Bondage Erotica 2012 and 2013, and Best Women’s Erotica 2013. Another string to her bow is editing, and she has edited and co-edited a number of anthologies. She owns Erotica For All, and is book editor for Cliterati.

  Nicole Gestalt

Nicole Gestalt has been writing erotica for many years. When Nicole is not writing she loves spending her time with her partner, walking and drinking lots of mocha’s, particularly if they have whipped cream on top. Nicole loves hearing from her readers.

  Tamsin Flowers

As a naughty girl on a journey of self-discovery as an erotic writer, Tamsin Flowers is as keen to entertain her readers as she is to explore every aspect of female (and male) erotica. Hoping to touch you on your most erotic zones, she writes light-hearted stories that are sexy and fun, perfect for reading on your own or with someone in whom you have more than a passing interest... Short stories by Tamsin can be found in anthologies from Xcite Books, House of Erotica and Cleis Press and she is currently working on a number of novels and novellas.

  Tenille Brown

Tenille Brown’s smut is featured in over fifty print anthologies including Chocolate Flava 1 and 3, Curvy Girls, Going Down, Best Bondage Erotica 2011 and2012, Sapphic Planet, Suite Encounters, Open, Best Lesbian Erotica 2013 and Only You. She writes for Mischief Books and is editing her first anthology, Can’t Get Enough, for Cleis Press.

  Vanessa de Sade

Vanessa de Sade is a forty-something full-figure gal who likes to write hot stories about real women exploring the darker regions of their own sexuality. She is the author of Melancholia Falls and other popular novellas and stories; plus the collections Rubyfruit Jungle and Nude Shots. A collection of her erotic fairy tales will be published later this year and she is currently trying her hand at a YA novel.

  Victoria Blisse

Victoria Blisse is a mother, wife, Christian, Manchester United fan and award winning erotica author. She is also the editor of several Bigger Briefs collections, Smut by the Sea and Smut in the City.

She is equally at home behind a laptop or a cooker and she loves to create stories, poems, cakes and biscuits that make people happy. She was born near Manchester, England and her northern English quirkiness shows through in all of her stories. Passion, love and laughter fill her works, just as they fill her busy life.

  Violet Fields

Violet Fields lives in Yorkshire with her lovely family and her little shadow, one year old Shih Tzu Betsy.

She loves walking in the local countryside with Betsy and her friends in the nearby Peak district; watching all kinds of cinema; attending weekly pottery and art groups and visiting the local pub with her mates; though not necessarily in that order!

Violet first realised she had a real passion for writing aged seven, when she totally confounded an infant teacher who told her to write a story about a grain of sand as a punishment, by really enjoying it!

Always one to push the boundaries a little, by her teens she was writing comedy plays with a few gentle innuendoes in them; one of which was produced as part of a district festival.

However, too soon work and family responsibilities took over and writing ambitions were temporarily forgotten.

When her children were small Violet obtained a BA (Hons) in Film Studies with Professional Writing from Sheffield Hallam University and went on to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate in Technical Communication from the same establishment.

She recently joined the Romantic Novelists’ Association and is currently writing a historical novel for their new writer’s critique sch
eme under a different pen name.

Violet hopes very much that you’ll enjoy ‘The Runaway Bride’s Surprise.’ Another one of her stories ‘A Grand Day Out’ features in House of Erotica’s anthology: ‘Smut Alfresco.’

  The Chocolate Addict

  By Victoria Blisse

I watch the clock. It is barely closer to five o’clock than when I last check it. You might be surprised to know I’m not counting down to closing time; I love my job, what woman wouldn’t love being surrounded by delicious chocolates? No, I’m waiting for one certain customer. One certain handsome customer with a smile that warms my heart and a sharp upper class accent that rolls down from my ears like silken honey and pools in the pit of my stomach.

He first came in three weeks ago. It was a wickedly wet winter’s afternoon and the rain clattered against the window and climbed through the door behind him.

“Horrid weather,” he tutted, fastening his umbrella and walking towards the counter, “I’m wet through.”

“I’m glad I’ve been in here all day,” I replied, “and that I only have to go upstairs to get home, it’s throwing it down out there.”

He nodded and smiled then, as often happens, his gaze carried to the display of chocolate truffles beside me. I tried not to stare but it was hard not to. He was tall, really tall, probably over six foot I calculated. His hair was dark and soberly cut but just behind his ears tufts curled rebelliously. His hard chin was carefully clean shaven and his lips were soft and pale. I wondered how they would look warmed up by kisses, my kisses.

“There are so many to choose from, I’m feeling a little overwhelmed.” His words roused me from my illicit imaginings.

“Well, I am fond of the roast hazelnut myself and the salted caramel is a crowd pleaser, just pick whatever you fancy.”

“If I did that, I’d have one of everything I can see.” He looked directly at me. I wanted to say he could have me as many times as he liked but the suggestive words wouldn’t fall from my lips. He is a near stranger. I giggle softly instead.

“Choose a few then,” I replied, “and come back and try the others another time.”

“That’s a good plan,” his face lit up with an expansive smile, “thank you.”

He picked six different flavours and took two of each home with him with a promise he’d be back and he was, at exactly the same time the next week and the next. I’ll be broken hearted if he doesn’t come in today. I found out last time that his name was Max. He asked me mine first so I took the opportunity to put a name to the man who occupied my fantasies.

Max, the name suits him. I find myself screaming his name in orgasm as I wank myself to sleep each night imagining him with me, in me and coming all over me. If I’m not thinking about chocolate and my chocolate shop, I’m thinking of him. Often I combine the two, then my fantasies get very dirty indeed.

“Good afternoon, Maria,” His words overlap with the tinkling of the bell which announces the arrival of a new customer.

“Hello, Max, how’re you today?” My stomach is bubbling like freshly poured champagne but I try to keep my nervous anticipation under wraps.

“Very well, thank you, and you?” He pushes the door closed and walks towards me. I can feel the crisp coolness of the outside radiating from him.

“I’m great, thanks; it’s been a busy day. Chocolate has been flying out of the door, well, not literally, of course.”

“Of course,” he chuckles “but I hope you’ve saved your best for me, Maria.” I swear I can hear a sexual promise in his words, but then I do in everything he says. I’m that horny.

“Of course,” I smile. “Your wife is a lucky woman.”

  “Why do you say that?”

Because I want to you tell me you’re not married. I thought then replied out loud,

“Because you buy her a dozen chocolates every Friday. I know that’d get you in my knickers for sure.”

He laughs, not quite the response I was hoping for. I flush deep red and start to regret my hasty words.

“Oh Maria, I’m not married. These chocolates are for me and me only.”

“Really?” My regret evaporates and surprise leaps out of my reply.

  He nods.

“Oh, sorry, I didn’t mean to pry.”

“Oh, don’t worry. It’s an easy mistake to make.”

“We don’t get many men chocoholics in here; actually, I don’t think I can think of even one, well, other than your good self.” My cheeks are red and my lips are dry. When I look up Max is on the other side of the counter directly in front of me.

“I have always loved chocolate. My mum would buy me a bar every Friday and I would sit in my room, pick out a good book and enjoy the two together. A good book and chocolate is the second best combination there is.”

  “What is the first?”

  “Chocolate and a good fuck.”

The erotic word so unexpected, so blatant and so harsh echoes on the air. I couldn’t make my mouth work, I just nodded.

“There is nothing better than chocolate warmed on a lover’s body, licking sexy smears from her skin, sharing one little piece between our lips, sucking and licking the chocolate and each other, the it all just melting into to a hot, gentle, probing kiss.”

He’s leaning on the countertop, resting his elbow on the glass and his chin in his hand. I’m leaning towards him, his words must have pulled me forward, there is only an inch or two between us and he’s looking directly at my lips. I gulp. My mouth is dry, my mind empty, I am locked in his gaze, poised on the edge, waiting for him to make a move.

In the end I’m not sure if I leaned over the counter first or if he did but our lips met. It was a soft, tentative greeting at first and once acquainted my lips pressed hard against his as lust ignited between my thighs and I just let my instincts take over. My breasts sweep against the edge of the cold glass top, chilling me even through the thick cotton of my tabard and the shirt beneath. It’s only then I realise I am full on snogging a customer in my shop and anyone could walk in at any moment. Reluctantly I pull back.

“We can’t do that here,” I pant, “as much as I’d like to.” I add. I also notice that his lips went a deep shade of pink when kissed. A very attractive colour indeed, like the filling of my strawberry creams. I wanted to kiss them again to see if they would be as tasty and sweet.

“Indeed,” he replies, “what time do you shut?”

“Well, any time now, really,” I reply, “you’re usually my last customer of the day.”

“Well then, Maria. Will you package me up a dozen of your finest chocolates then accompany me to dinner?”

“Oh, I’d love to,” I reply, “but I’m not sure my uniform works for a meal out.”

“How about a meal in, then? Your place or mine?”

“Well, I live upstairs and I have a whole array of takeaway menus...”

“Then it’s decided.” Max smiles. “Is there anything I can do to help you close up?”

Max is very helpful and suddenly I’m leading him ups
tairs to my flat and wondering how tidy it might be. I am a stickler for hygiene and cleanliness in the shop but in my own space I’m a little more flexible on what tidy actually means.

“I apologise in advance for any mess,” I sigh, “I wasn’t expecting visitors.”

“No problem, I think people with immaculate houses live a boring life or have more money than sense. “ He replies from behind me. He makes me smile so easily. Not that I’m a grumpy person, no, I’m pretty content with life but he makes my cheeks ache delightfully from stretching them like a Cheshire cat.

The flat and my shop are pretty much my world. I’m not a gregarious soul and talking to my customers is enough social interaction for me. I venture out only when needed and my flat is my little hermit hole. Max would be one of only a few people who’ve ever been in there.

I open the door and am relieved to see that the living room at least is in a relatively presentable state. I show Max in and close the door behind us. My blood feels like it’s fizzing in my veins, my nerves are on edge, I am scared and excited and confused and I think I love it and hate it all at once.

Max takes off the big, heavy black coat I always see him wrapped in and hangs it on the rack behind the door. He unwinds the long, striped scarf and hangs that in the same place. I am smugly satisfied that I was indeed correct, beneath the long coat he wears a smart suit, and the dark grey jacket joins the coat and scarf on the peg, leaving him crisply encased in pale blue shirt and grey silk tie.

“Would you like a drink? I’ll go and get those menus and we can - ”

“Come and sit down a minute, Maria, take the weight off your feet. We’ll move onto the food soon enough.” Max sits down and pats the sofa beside him. I do a half nod, half shrug thing then step forward before pausing to take off my tabard and to slip off my shoes.

“Now I feel I’m off duty,” I sigh and continue over to the sofa.

“How long have you worked in the chocolate shop?” Max asks just as I pick up the old magazine and well-worn novel that lay on the end sofa seat then sit down. I can feel his body heat beside me. I want to feel far more of him but I have no idea how to make that happen. I remember that he’s asked me a question and quickly formulate an answer.
