A rush shot up and down my body.
“We’re going to kill this guy,” Liam announced again, louder this time. “And Emery here is going to help us.” He crossed the room and flopped down onto my bed, spreading his long legs out.
“What? No… I…” My body started to shake in fear.
“Oh, you’re helping.” Liam got up again and inserted his body between Jackson and me, leaning in close to whisper in my ear. “You wanted to be a part of our world, sweetheart, so welcome. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.”
He stepped away and ran his hands up and down inside of each other before patting his brother on the back. “Now, let’s get started, shall we?”
I glanced at Jackson for help but he just grabbed a hold of me and pulled my body into his, tugging me into place behind him as we exited the door.
What the hell had I gotten myself into now?
