The good in mankind will always prevail.
He was once again paused because of the cheering, and at this point, tears ran down the faces of every single person including Syra!
I had a dream, a dream of leading my people to rise above the pettiness, hypocrisy, and dishonesty.
But when it became obvious to me that I was standing up against tyranny, I would not be the last, many would follow in my footsteps!
One day on Earth, it won’t matter what race, creed, color nor planet you are from you will be able to lead.
I will be the first to take a stand, and there will be those that will remember me, they will remember me!
Yes, my exit was a bit of a spectacle that much I agree to. But it just seemed appropriate because in all that I have heard growing up on Earth, was no one would believe aliens existed until they landed on the White House lawn.
Well, folks, we landed!
But unfortunately, we landed only to have to leave shortly thereafter.
It is my hope one day that Earth can accept us, embrace us and allow us to return to the White House for a true landing and embrace!

Zach and his family were taken immediately to their new home as well as Zoey and her family. They would join their parents Syra and James tomorrow once they settled in and have much-needed family time and catching up to do!

chapter twelve
Heartbroken by the negative things the vicious crowds were chanting, they were now getting closer to his bedroom door. He was slowly being consumed by the violent mob, crashing and smashing sounds of the enemy beating down the president’s door demanding his hanging, Zach found himself in a cold dead night sweat.
Trapped and waiting for the enemy to turn on him in an instant, he tossed and turned the whole night through.
“Wake up, my darling you are having a bad dream. Time to get up, your mother is waiting!” Celeste said.
“Oh, please can’t I just sleep a little longer?” Zach replied and went on to say, “I’ve not slept a wink all night!”
“No, you cannot, when your mother calls you, you answer!” Celeste said sternly.
“Yes dear, what would I do without you always keeping me straight,” Zach said with a smile she had not seen in a very long time.
Zach jumped out of the shower and got dressed and grabbed a snack before running out the door. Celeste barely had time to remind him he had not combed his hair!
Syra had a pod awaiting him and he was escorted to Central for all the news that had been coming in from Earth. It was urgent that Zach be present and watch these news clips as well as all the messages that had come through while he was traveling in space for six months. He had been unaware of anything that had happened after his hasty exit.
Zach knew in advance this would be a very long day. There would most certainly be a lot to catch up on, and many decisions needed to be made on how he was going to approach this problem that was going on, on Earth.
As soon as Zach walked into Central, his mother informed him that a tour was in order and she was not about to ruin his perfectly good day this soon. What’s on the visual will not go away and will still be here.
Several hours later, Zach was just about overwhelmed at how well things were set up on Earth II. Central was in the middle and was a large dome with all the departments inside it including a mess hall and an area set aside for recreation.
Surrounding the place called Central, were pathways that led to different housing sections with everyone getting things done and it was amazing to watch it, Zach thought.
In the center of Central, high up in the center of the dome was the actual Central Command Center or CCC.
When Zach stepped inside it was an amazing sight to see. This made his Situation Room back at the White House look old fashioned and far outdated by the technologies present. This was one of the things that had always amazed him about his mother and her people from Zhian.
He saw a com screen of the Zhian Sphere perched high up on the hill monitoring all of Earth II and of Earth!
“Come here, you may want to take a seat over here Zach,” Syra said.
Once seated, Syra stood by Zach and then sat down beside him in a chair slightly to his right but that chair was a simple chair with hardly any command options on it and was obviously for observations and training.
Zach looked down and saw rows of buttons and labels and things he was not to touch! He quickly folded his arms and clasped his fingers intertwined until he nearly cut off the blood circulation.
“Please son, spend some time in my chair,” Syra said and reminded him, “Get used to it, it will be your chair one day!” Syra walked away smiling as any mother would with a great deal of pride.
It took the rest of the day to show Zach Earth II’s operations which were critical for him to know and to understand first and foremost.
“It will take you some time to catch up on what has already happened on Earth,” Syra said and she continued, “We have condensed it down for you for now.”
Just six months earlier, Zach had watched news clips of Ellead and Sheevah’s landing. A monument was erected in Zach’s name and he had no idea that it was done. He had been so busy with his own exit and getting his family inside Sheevah safely and was half scared out of his wits in the process!
News clips from around the world played the landing of not one but two alien spacecraft from outer space on the White House lawn.
Colton Trevil had also landed on the White House lawn almost immediately after the alien ships had vanished into thin air.
He had been watching all of it from his Trevil Helicopters, a name recognized from around the world, and he forced his will on the people.
Zach watched as the once President Trevil spoke before the purveyors of propaganda and Zach was aghast at what the man said.
A full-grown man bragging like a child, “I told you so, I told you he was an alien from another world!” Trevil said.
Other news clips showed him standing firm that he was by all rights the new president and it was high time the laws were changed to reflect that. That he and he alone had not only saved the United States from an alien invasion, but he had also saved the world too.
Another broadcaster mocked Trevil’s, Space Force. Which by the way, the broadcaster reminded his viewers Trevil had wasted billions of hard-working taxpayers’ monies on a farce.
Most of the journalists were saying things such as, if his Space Force was so good, why didn’t they track the ships that came into Washington’s airspace and shoot them down! Why allow them to land on the White House lawn?
Then, to have the audacity to claim a near invasion, when he knew nothing of it and it was a coincidence these two huge events happened almost simultaneously.
Within one week there was a constitutional crisis!
The House and the Senate were at each other's throats for 14 hours shifts. Most had been standing on the Senate floor for over 24 hours arguing all the legal reasons why Trevil could not serve a third term and he certainly could not do it without being duly elected.
Trevil had pretty much locked himself inside the White House and dared anyone to try and remove him. He had thousands of followers laying on the ground on their backs like fools in protest of anyone trying to remove him from his office.
Another video showed thousands of protests across the nation, worse than anything President Caldiron had ever seen before.
Trevil seemed to thrive on the chaos and he would no longer allow any journalist inside the White House for his press conferences except the ones who spoke highly of him and praised him daily.
The people would no longer get the truth from an impartial press, but from hand-picked fans to tell it his way.

ast still in business never let up on the truth and they continued to tell it regardless of the propaganda created from Trevil’s minions.
The big news on most channels was the arrest of the vice president of President Caldiron administration. He was arrested and charged with treason for knowingly supporting an illegal alien from another world making his way inside the White House and infiltrating the government for the sole purpose of an invasion.
Then Zach viewed video clips of the widespread panic of an invasion and those that claimed it was the end of the world.
The propagandist instigators had most folks not willing to eat foods grown from seeds that were not certified by the US Government. Crops were burned and destroyed every day for fear there were tiny little aliens invading their bodies from foods consumed from those evil seeds.
Zach was bewildered. How could his people follow such an evil man who only wanted them to worship him? They believed everything Trevil said, and it didn’t matter how absurd it sounded.
Many of Trevils followers went on the local television channels already under Trevils control to put fear in the hearts of all the poor and misfortunate.
Just when Zach thought he could not handle it anymore, yet another news feed came on the screen showing farmer against farmer over those free seeds. Within a few months’ foods started to become scarce and the farmers had nearly destroyed their business because they believed the propaganda.
The stock market was plunging because investors were running scared. A crash was predicted soon if things continued on its current path.
Trevil continued to be popular among his political base and all others were simply ignored. When there was talk of a real election, Trevil attacked every official and his people contacting them personally to state they had “stuff” on them.
Threats for them to back down or the world would know all their dirty little secrets was enough to scare an innocent person. These folks knew there was nothing in their past, but if Trevils people can make it up and stick it to their names, their political careers were over.
Videos of corruption filled the Central Command Center.
When Trevil shut the government down the military was angry. Every time they started to make ends meet, their pay was once again frozen.
Then there was the announcement that anything that had the name Caldiron on it was to be destroyed or confiscated as government property because it was owned by aliens!
All three of the Hollingsworth Foundations had been shut down temporarily and all funds were frozen. Within six months the government was in total chaos.
The stock market had by then crashed. Anyone who challenged Trevil met an untimely political career death.
The prices of vegetables were so expensive most stopped eating them not just because of fear, but because of the prices.
Trevil now had over 3,357 lawsuits pending in courts over his actions and his coup in such a short time. These were only the latest ones. But lawsuits were what he thrived on, and they were no threat to him at all. Most of the time he just laughed them off.
One journalist believed Trevil was untouchable. He believed that nothing could bring him down and because of that journalist’s words, many gave up and stopped fighting back.
Much of what had happened in the past six months was written down in a report for Zach to go over. A list of all the agencies shut down. A list of companies that folded in such a short period of time under Trevils reign. A list of the lives lost from starvation and weather-related deaths of the homeless who no longer could find shelter or food to eat.
Zach’s heart was broken, and he was glad he had been asleep in the Sleeper for that entire trip. Otherwise, he may have been tempted to turn that ship around and stand his ground back on his beloved Earth!
He began to think it was a mistake to run. But that is when he read the report that would give him nightmares. There were plans to blow up the White House and when it came time to rebuild it, Trevil would have his name placed on it. This terrified President Caldiron to no-end.
Meanwhile, in the present time with all the bad news from those video’s and news reports the president could not sleep that night. By the next morning, the first thing he did was return to the CCC to find out what the current situation was.
In just six short months Trevil had almost brought the nation to its knees through his greed, but then Caldiron watched him being led out of the White House immediately after his resignation was signed.
The investigation was named Trevilgate and it had been a successful investigation which had gone on now for nearly 10 years, one newscaster said.
The exact specifics were not on the news, and they were anybody’s guess. Vice President Randall Cole was sworn in as President Randall Cole.
The speech that President Cole made brought tears to everyone who was a decent passionate person.
President Cole knew he had a lot of work to do to clean up Washington. Zach listened as he made his speech.
My fellow Americans, this is a sad day for all of us. Our democracy has been under threat and was nearly erased from existence. But the one thing we as American’s know, is there was a reason for everything our forefathers did.
Zach fast forwarded it and then stopped the message again.
Mr. Trevil has been charged with ordering the destruction of this nations most treasured documents, working with a foreign nation for a hostile takeover, and exchanging our nation's secrets with that foreign nation.
He had used the Russians for his personal bidding and then discarded them when he was done, or so he thought. But with the secrets, he shared with them has placed this nation under full threat.
We have all known these precious documents have been missing since Mr. Trevil reclaimed the White House and appointed himself president without being duly elected and sworn in.
We have now been assured that those documents were rescued from the clutches of evil hands and have been in safekeeping and will be returned to us at the appropriate time.
A security video clearly showed Mr. Trevil’s men stealing the documents. However, what we never saw was they were saved from destruction with only moments to spare by alien technologies we cannot even imagine.
But every man is considered innocent until proven guilty, so please hold your questions and remarks. Even Mr. Trevil deserves a fair trial. (his speech nearly drowned out by boos)
Zach had to stop and breathe. He was in total shock but fast forwarded the video once again.
From this day forward, I will work diligently to restore our government back to what it was when President Caldiron held this office.
I believe he is out there somewhere, and I hope he is listening to me. So, President Caldiron if you can hear me, I have your back!
At this point, Zach and his mother Syra just sat there in silence. Zach had a transcript of the entire speech which lasted two hours.
Neither spoke for the longest time, saddened by all that had happened in just a short time since Zach left office.
Each day, news continued to filter in from Earth with updates and the people of Earth II looked forward to these updates knowing President Cole would set the record straight. He would reset history with the truth and not the version Mr. Trevil and his cronies created. It will be told the way it really was.
The citizens of Earth had had hell to pay in only a short six months. Many of them thought of all the opportunities they had lost when the aliens left.
While they had feared being invaded by aliens, Trevil set in motion an invasion of his own which had been planned for the last 25 or 30 years of that man’s life.
But one thing for certain, with President Cole in charge, the masses hoped and prayed he really did have a direct connection to President Caldiron and would be able to fix their broke nation. This was the message that was heard repeatedly.
Meanwhile, back at the office of the president of the United States, President Cole sat into motion a beacon of hope.
He had been co
ntacted by Caldiron and hope was on the way at speeds not known to man. Meanwhile, Cole spent his every waking day trying to clean up the mess Trevil had left behind.
Cole knew he had about six months to get the government to reset. Then he would need to bring hope to the people that their borders and airspace was safe from the Russians and any other foreign nation that was waiting to pick the bones of a once great nation. We are not dead yet, he said over and over to the people.
Caldiron watched Cole daily and sent him advice. This was one of those times he knew he did the right thing by setting up that backchannel to Cole before he left Earth!
One thing for certain, Earth II was not about to let Russia take America just because one man tried to hand it over to them because they had promised him everything he had asked for and then some.
One of the first things President Cole did was set in motion a new requirement before even being able to run for the highest office in the United States!
A battery of psychological testing by independent testers who would then submit their findings to the house and senate along with recommendations. The applicants would be held by an even high standard than the Supreme Court.
There would be a whole new process before anyone could sign up to run for president. They would also be questioned by every single member of Congress.
The next change Cole would put into motion was to end the long-outdated Electoral.
The only thing that ever really counted was winning by popular vote because that is what truly represented the will of the people.
He also set in motion fingerprint voting, which represented your signature that was on file. This was widely accepted and eliminated the fraud that was so widespread. There would be no more arguing over someone’s signature ever again!
Cole had many good ideas and just started throwing them out there to see what the American people wanted.
Cole often sat in the Oval Office and thought of how his administration had to struggle to get their security clearances reinstated.
Then there were all the changes that took place inside the White House in such a short time. Just when things were in order again from the last time that man spent eight years there, he quickly undid it all in just six months of time through executive orders.
