I lifted my hand and smiled. “I’m Molly Anderson. The new marketer?”

“Molly!” An older man with a great smile and warm eyes got up and extended his hand. “I’m Bill, head of marketing. Let me introduce you to everyone.”

I went through the motions, shaking hands and talking shop a little until we made it to the backside of the room. Bill turned to face me and crossed his arms over his chest.

“I just have to tell you, I’m impressed by your marketing strategy for our latest release. It was a skyrocket project. You took the concept and worked the right targets markets to make something incredible happen. I’m beyond pleased to hear that Alfie has twisted your arm to join us.”

I smiled, feeling right at home with him and the rest of the team. Finally. A place to belong. “Thanks. I just used past experience and tried to put myself in the shoes of the target audience I thought would have the best reach across the other generations.”

“Well, it was brilliant.” He reached out and squeezed my arm. “Did Alfie get you set up with your office yet?”

Alfie’s voice behind me sent warmth flooding my chest. “Not yet, but we’ll have Sicily get Molly set up as soon as we’re done with the meeting.”

“Sounds good, boss.” Bill nodded at me. “Welcome, Molly. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to come find me.”

“Will do.” I turned to Alfie, quite surprised to see pride on his face. “What?”

He reached out and tucked a strand of my hair behind my year, the expression on his face loving. “I’m just proud of you.”

I stiffened as a few gazes turned toward us. “I thought you wanted us to keep things a secret.”

“No. I changed my mind.” He touched the side of my face. “I want everyone to know who you belong to.”

“You’re so possessive.” I rolled my eyes as he laughed.

We turned, and he wrapped a strong arm around my shoulders. “Morning, everyone. As you all now know, Molly Anderson will be joining our team. She’ll be training with all of you as to learn our company as fast as possible.” He glanced down at me, his eyes beautiful and stealing my heart. “She is responsible for the greatest launch we’ve had here, and I’m proud to have her join our team. I only wish my father could meet her.”

A few people agreed. I tried to pull myself together. Alfie was being so sweet, so sensitive. He turned back toward the crowd.

“Among other things, she’s my girlfriend, so if you see us standing a little too close, please…don’t fret. She’s my girl.” Everyone laughed, and I tried to stop the flood of embarrassment racing through me. “But she’s not getting special treatment for that purpose. She’s brilliant and has proved that in the face of gaining nothing from it.”

“Thank you,” I spoke toward him and turned to face everyone. “And thank you guys too. I’m looking forward to becoming part of the team. I’ve been looking for my place for a long time.”

Bill smiled. “Well, kiddo. Looks like you’ve found it. Welcome. We’re almost more glad that Alfie is dating than we are to have a marketing genius like you join us.”

Everyone laughed, and I turned to Alfie. “It’s like family around here?”

“Very much so. These people are in my business twenty-four seven.” He smiled as they chuckled. “And now they’ll be in yours.”

“Good.” I smiled. “I like being a part of a family.”

“Then grab a seat, and let’s get rolling. This family is about to take over the telephone market, and you’re going to help us do it.” Alfie nodded at me and moved to the front as I sat down beside Bill.

The next hour was filled with Alfie leading the team through our next big product and launch. He was in charge, dominating, and had everyone captivated.

  Especially me….

  Chapter Thirty-Seven

  Alfie

“Well. That was quite an adventure.” Molly glanced over at me as we drove back to Devon for the night. It had been a long day in the office, but she had impressed me. Hell, she had impressed all of us.

The woman was a natural marketer and would easily fit into any business. It was a bit rough watching various members of my staff ogle over her, but once word spread that she was my lady, things calmed down a little.

  Sort of.

“You were brilliant, but I’m not surprised at all.” I reached over and took her hand. “Did you get a chance to call Gary back about the position he offered you?” She’d mentioned earlier in the day that she needed a reminder to call her old boss. She’s been so damn busy that I doubted she’d gotten to it.

“No, but I’ll call him later.” She slipped off her heels and turned her face toward me. “Thank you for calling him about me. You didn’t have to do that.”

“Yeah. I did.” I reached over and gripped the bottom of her suit skirt, pulling at it as I smiled. “I want to see your thighs.”

“I take it the work conversation is over.” She laughed and lifted her ass off the seat, allowing me to bring the skirt up to her sweet mound. Her blue panties looked good with her thighs pressed tightly together.

“Oh, yeah. We’re going to have dinner out somewhere in Devon, a glass of wine, and then I want to see you spread out on our bed.”

“Our bed?” Her voice was soft, seductive. My body ached to be buried inside of hers, but dinner needed to come first. She’d done such a great job of slipping into my life over the last twenty-four hours that I wanted to make sure she knew that I had noticed.

“You think it’s just your bed?” I brushed my fingertips over her mound.

She closed her eyes and let out a soft whimper. “Ours works.”

“Pull your panties to the side for me, Molly.” I licked my lips and tried hard to keep my eyes on the road. Her lusty scent reached me, and it was all I could do not to pull the car over and take her there on the side of the road.

“Here? In the car?” There was a hint of fright in her voice. It caused the alpha in me to sit up and howl like an animal in heat.

“Yeah. Pull them over. I wanna touch you.” I glanced over at her, making sure she knew I was serious.

“Okay.” She opened her legs a little more and pulled the silky blue cloth to the side, revealing her slick center.

“That’s it,” I mumbled and ran my fingers down her slit, pressing in a little to part her lips so I could play with her.

She moaned, and my eyes darted up to her face. Never in my life had I wanted to please someone so much. I tapped her pussy before sliding my middle finger down to her opening and pressing in. I was bent over in my seat, but my eyes were on the road.

Her soft panting filled the air, and I wanted nothing more than to hear her come.

“Alfie,” she said breathlessly. “Stop, and we’ll do this at the house.”

“Not a chance.” I ran my finger back up her pussy and rolled the pad of my middle finger against her clit.

She cried out, and that’s all I needed. I jerked the car to the side of the road and threw it in park.

“What are you doing?” she arched her back, knowing good and damn well what I was doing.

“Making you feel good.” I leaned over and kissed her as I used both hands to bring her over the edge. Her body buckled after a good fuck, and she cried out my name against the side of my neck as she wet my fingers.

“Fuck,” she whispered and bucked against my hands.

“Tell me about it.” I finished her off and moved back to my seat, my insides hot with need. “Let’s go have dinner, and then you’re mine.”

“Maybe I should be yours now.” She gave me a sexy smile.

“Behave.” I got back in my seat and pulled the car back onto the road. I shouldn’t have, but I couldn’t help myself. I lifted my hand to my face and breathed in deeply before sampling her nectar.

“Alfie,” she said, sounding a little shocked.

“What? I’d have loved to have gotten my face down there.” I glanced over to find her cheeks colored pink. It was
too cute that she was embarrassed. I’d have every inch of her memorized before the end of the month, and given forever? I’d make sure I knew every place to touch, lick, and fuck to make her writhe in pleasure.

It was a goal…one I hadn’t wanted so badly in all my life before her.

“Let’s skip dinner.” She reached over and tugged at the head of my cock.

I groaned and shook my head. “No. I’m starving. I forgot to eat lunch.”

She stroked my erection and turned to face me, giving me the most beautiful bedroom eyes I’d ever seen. “So eat me.”

“I plan to.” I pulled down the street that lead to the house and lifted my hips as she stroked me again. “Be careful, baby. I’m close to losing it.”

“Good. I want to see.” She turned farther and tugged my zipper down. My cock sprung from my slacks, hard and wet from being overly excited.

“Molly,” I groaned as she stroked me a few times.

“God, you’re hot. I want to see you come.” Her voice was filled with an innocence that didn’t belong there.

“Keep that up, and you will.” I glanced down to watch her tug at the thick, swollen head of my dick. Fuck. If riding home from work every day together could be so good, we might never get her another car.

“I love how big you are.” She tugged one good time, and my balls contracted.

“Hard and fast,” I panted as she unbuckled and leaned over into my seat, replacing her mouth with one of her hands. My world exploded, and it was all I could do to stay on the road as she drank me down and sucked at the tip of my dick like she wanted more.

I ran my hand down her back and patted her ass. “Enough, baby.”

“I want more.” She glanced up at me, her eyes filled with carnality.

“And you’ll get more. As much as you can handle.” I let out a sigh of relief as she moved back into her seat and situated her clothes back to where they belonged.

I tucked myself back in my slacks and pulled up to the garage. “Are you hungry for dinner now?”

“Yeah. Let’s eat so we can get back to the house.” She got out of the car and walked around me, her chin up and determination on her face.

Damn… she had me wrapped around her fingers so tightly that I knew if I wasn’t careful, I’d beg for more.

We walked to the house together, and I reached for her hand, pausing and pulling her back to wrap my arms around her. “Did you know that I love you?”

“Mhmm.” She smiled up at me. “I love you too.”

“I ran into Harry the other day. He apologized and told me that the night he met you, he knew without a doubt that you were supposed to be mine.” I leaned down and brushed my lips against hers. “You believe that craziness?”

“Yeah, I actually do. Fate has a funny way of bending people and things to its will until it gets what it wants.” She pressed her soft breasts against my chest. “I guess it wanted me and you together.”

“Remind me to thank it if we ever meet it.” I leaned down and kissed her long and hard. My body grew needy as we stood there, pressed together.

She broke the kiss. “I don’t want dinner. I want you.”

“What the lady wants, the lady gets.” I reached around her to open the door and followed her in. My heart almost stopped in my chest as she ascended the stairs, stripping off bits and pieces of clothing. By the time she made it to the top, she was completely bare, her beautiful body on display for me.

I growled the only word I could get out of my mouth before bounding after her.

  “Mine.”

  Chapter Thirty-Eight

  Molly

We made love all night, taking turns teasing and toying with each other until we were mad with lust. It was like discovering sex all over again. Everything about Alfie left my heart racing, my body purring.

I woke up the next morning sore and yet feeling like I could do anything I wanted to with my life. I couldn’t help but lie beside him and watch him sleep for a little while. He was beyond handsome and had me completely captivated.

“And we almost lost it all,” I whispered and reached out to brush his hair back.

He didn’t move an inch. After lying there a little while longer, I finally got up and found something comfortable to wear. We needed a day of fun. The office would be there when we got back, but I wanted a day with just the two of us.

“Doing what?” I asked myself as I jogged down the stairs and into the kitchen. After making a pot of coffee, I realized what we could do: fish.

There was a pond on the left side of the road as you drove into Devon. I wasn’t sure there were actual fish in it, but it would make for a great day together. After making us each a cup of coffee, I walked back up the stairs and sat down on the side of the bed.

“Hey. Let’s go do something fun today. Want to?” I set the coffees down and reached over to run my fingers down Alfie’s back.

He groaned and turned over to face me, blinking slowly a few times. “Why are you dressed?”

I laughed. “Because my body isn’t going to take another round of sex with you for a few days.”

“Nope. I think it’s a lie.” He grabbed me, and I yelped as he playfully pulled me into the bed and rolled on top of me. “It smells like coffee in here.”

I pulled him down for a few short kisses. “I made us some for our fishing trip.”

“Fishing trip? Do you even know how to fish?” He gave me a quizzical look. “You grew up in New York. I mean, really, love, how much fishing do New Yorkers do?”

“Hey! I’m a great fisherman.” I kissed him and pushed at his chest. “Get off and let’s get going. I think a peaceful day at the lake would do both of us some good.”

He rolled onto his back and turned his face toward the clock. “Yikes. It’s nine o’clock? Why in the world did you let me sleep this long?”

“I’m not your alarm clock.” I got up and smiled at him over my shoulder. “Come on. I need someone to teach me how to bait my hook.”

“Yep! I knew it.” He got up and moved to sit on the side of the bed. “You are most certainly not a fisherman.”

“All right. You’re right.” I turned to face him and put my hands on my hips. “I’m not a fisherman.”

“Oh, I know.” He stood and walked toward me, his cock semi-erect as if he were thinking naughty thoughts. I couldn’t help but wonder what they were.

“I’m a fisherwoman. Hello.” I slid my hands up over his strong chest and around his neck, clasping my fingers together and pulling him close. “I’ll bet you the mother of all blow jobs that I’ll catch a fish before you.”

“You don’t even know this lake.” He lifted his eyebrow and gave me a quizzical stare. Little did he know, I loved the taste of his body.

“And? I’m that confident. So take the bet or don’t.” I released him and shrugged. “Man up or chicken out.”

“Psh. I’m going to enjoy watching you suck me off in every room of the house, pretty girl.”

I turned to walk to the closet only to get my butt popped. I laughed and walked into grab a pair of tennis shoes. “And if I do catch the fish?”

“You can have anything you want from me.” He leaned against the door frame, not at all shy as he stood there naked.

“Hmmm there are so many things I want.” I turned and walked toward him, leaning in to kiss his soft lips, and I ran my hand down the full length of him. “Would it be okay to tell you what I want after I get the first fish and win?”

“Sure. Why not?” He cupped my face and kissed me deeply until my knees threatened to give out. “You sure you want to catch stinky old fish? We could curl up under a blanket in the study and watch old movies together.”

“Naked?” I teased him, knowing good and damn well that he wanted to live life naked.

“Oh yeah.” He released me and walked into the closet to pull a few things from the hangers. “Life is better naked.”

“Even at the office?” I walked into the bedroom and bre
athed in deeply. His cologne mixed with lust, leaving the place to smell like heaven. My sense of heaven at least.

“Um, no.” He walked out, putting his shoes. “That my coffee?”

“Yes, sir, it is.” I picked up both cups and handed him one. “You ready to go down?”

“Now, wait a minute.” He lifted an eyebrow and turned his full attention on me. “Am I eating you out or are we going fishing?”

I laughed and popped him in the chest. “That’s a way to change the subject, loser.”

“We’ll see who loses today.” He followed me out. “And I don’t want to hear you whining about you deep throating me tonight.”

“Never.” I glanced over my shoulders and gave him a smoldering look. “I like the idea of you fucking yourself silly using any part of me.”

He groaned, and I laughed. Life was good, and it would seem that no matter who won, we were going to have a lot of fun.

  *

“I’m not sure I ever thanked you for saving me.” I glanced over at Alfie as we sat on the dock near the edge of town. The fish hadn’t been biting too much that day, but we’d enjoyed the time to get to know each other better. The serenity of the lake caused both of us to open up a little about our pasts, our families, and our hopes for the future.

“Saving you from what, lass?” He smiled and reached over to run his hand down the back of my hair. Something about his touch felt so comforting, so right.

“Saving me from the situation with Harry.” I shrugged and turned to watch my bobber go under. “Hey! I think I’ve got something.”

I scrambled to my feet and started to reel the line in as fast as I could. Alfie laughed and jolted up beside me, his hands in a readied position as if I might get tired of reeling in the fish. I wasn’t sure what was more comical—me or him.

“Faster, Mol. Real it in faster. These fish out here are old and smart!” He laughed and reached for the line as I pulled up a fish. A small fish, but it was still our first catch of the day. “Great job.”

I gave him a sweet look. “Anyway, you’ll take it off the line for me? I hate the thought of touching it.” I crinkled up my nose and made a sound of disgust.
