  Shoshanah Holl

A literal child of the corn, Shoshanah originally hails from rural Nebraska. Making the radical decision to relocate a whole state away, she now lives in Des Moines where she is attending university and hopes to escape with either a degree or her sanity intact. Her first story was lovingly penned in red crayon some twenty years ago and while she may now have a better vocabulary, she does miss the rainbow stickers and doodles of cats. In her non-existent spare time she reads too much, watches scary movies, attempts to cook without setting anything (important) on fire, struggles with helping people pronounce her name, and works as an illustrator and designer.

  Emmalyn Greyson

Emmalyn grew up in Southern Arizona where she spent her childhood scaring her friends with stories of ghosts and witches. Now that she’s all grown up she has a husband, cat, and four year old daughter to entertain with her stories. She currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska where the weather never makes sense and she yearns for the tepid climate of her youth.

Emmalyn spends most of her time playing with her daughter, adding to her excessive herbal tea collection, and sating her unhealthy obsession with mystical creatures while crouched over her laptop.

You can find her studying for her Creative Writing degree or in her office working on another book.

  Tilly Boscott

Tilly Boscott is a freelance writer, poet and blogger. She won her first writing competition at the age of seven, choosing bouncy, green goo as her prize; she does not regret her decision. Tilly grew up on a diet of Enid Blyton and R.L. Stine, which explains her curious nature and love of fantasy. She does not belong to a library, in case her book addiction becomes a problem in the legal sense. From a young age, she dreamed of becoming an author or a unicorn, and she is determined and certain that at least one of these dreams will come true.

  M.K. Boise

  M. K. Boise is an Ohio native and recently finished her MFA in creative writing at the University of San Francisco where she was the fiction editor for the university’s graduate literary magazine, Switchback. Her short story “The Drive” won the 2011 anthology competition for the University College of Dublin (Ireland) in Everything Its Own. She resides in San Francisco and is currently at work on her first novel.

  G.L. Jackson

G.L. Jackson lives on the west coast with her family and a somewhat bizarre assortment of creatures, in a clear attempt not to become that crazy cat lady your friends and family always warned you about. She writes wherever she can sit and will try any style and any genre on for size, sometimes twice in a day. More than a bit irreverent and always appreciative of a good dose of humor, she calls a Sector 9 Bamboo Secrets skateboard her current weapon of choice. When she’s not writing she’s either reading, taking photographs, traveling, or finding new and exciting ways to make her characters come alive. For years now people have been trying to call her Susan, but the name refuses to stick.

He grew up in Southern Idaho, and after many adventures including a short stint in the US Army and a diverse education, Troy returned to Idaho, but the north end of the state this time, where he currently resides.

Troy works as a freelance writer and researcher by night, and the Museum Operations Specialist and Head of Research at the Wallace District Mining museum by day. He truly loves to write dark, psychological thrillers and released Broken Bones, a collection of his short stories, last September to great acclaim and with reasonable success.
