  About the Author

  Bob Stanley is a writer, musician and film producer. He founded the pop group Saint Etienne in 1990 and has enjoyed a parallel career as a music writer, with his work appearing in The Times, Smash Hits, NME, Q, Mojo, The Face and Pitchfork. A former artist-in-residence at the Southbank Centre, his films have been shown at the ICA and Royal Festival Hall, and he has curated several seasons for the Barbican. His first book, co-written with Paul Kelly and published in 2006, was Match Day: Football Programmes, Post-War to Premiership. He lives in Highgate, North London.
