“Oh, yes!” Cora cried out, the full length of his delicious hardness buried deep inside her. He leaned down, his mouth on her neck, his teeth grazing her once more. “Bite me!” She gasped. “Bite me, hard!” Without asking twice, he opened his mouth. His bottom lip caressed her soft supple skin and then there was an almost sickening crunch and a burning, searing pain. “Ahhh!” Her cry was a combination of pain and pleasure as he withdrew his fangs from her neck. His warm wet tongue lapped gently at the scarlet blood that flowed from her wound. As he lapped, he thrust, pulling back and thrusting deep, burying himself in to her. “Ooohhh!” She whispered again.
“Mmm…” Nicolai hummed as his lips wrapped around the bleeding wound. He had forgotten just how sweet fresh blood could be. The tang made his cock throb, it made him want to fill her with his seed.
“Ohh…wait…Ahhh!” Cora began to squirm, trying to pull away as she became lightheaded with each drop of blood she lost. She knew that she had to get away, but as she moved and he drank deeper she felt an intense rush ripple over her body. “Oh, God! I'm going to cum!”
“Mmm…” Nicolai finally broke the seal of his lips around her flesh. “Give me your pleasure.” He said, smiling down at her in the darkness, feeling the tightness of her wet pussy gripping his cock. He drew back and thrust forward as she writhed beneath him, this time out of pleasure more than pain.
“Ooohhh!” She rode the wave of tingling ecstasy as it lifted her high, taking her to her very peak. “Ahh…” Her body stiffened.
“Yesssss…” He hissed in the darkness, pushing deeply in to her wetness.
“Ah! Ah!” Her body relaxed as the ripples of her orgasm massaged his cock. Her mouth open and her neck bared, her body was wracked with the most amazing orgasm. Just as she began to catch her breath she felt Nicolai’s body stiffen over her. He leaned down, his tongue just barely touching the wound on her neck. Lapping at her gently he thrust hard, faster and faster until she felt him swelling.
“Ah! Yes!” He gasped. Warm jets of cum flooded in to Cora’s waiting pussy as he came hard. Each burst of his seed made him cry out with pleasure, until he collapsed on top of her lifelessly.
Chapter 6
Nicolai lay behind Cora, his arm draped over her waist, holding her to him. He seemed still, silent, almost as if he were in a trance. Every few minutes he would break the stillness as he leaned forward, his tongue grazing the wound on her neck. Then, with a hushed hum, he would fall back in to place and the stillness would resume.
Cora had to admit that she had never had an orgasm so intense before, but there was something that didn't feel right. In the moment, in their throes of passion, she had done whatever it took to feel that incredible release. She had begged him for something not knowing what the ultimate sacrifice might be. She needed to ask Nicolai. She needed to know what it meant for him to have fed from her, yet left her alive…at least that was assuming that she was going to get out of there alive.
The wound on Cora’s neck was still burning with such an incredible searing pain that she almost couldn't stand it. Just when it got to the point that she didn't think she could take anymore, Nicolai would caress the wound with his tongue. Something about his mouth soothed the pain, yet soon after he lay still the pain would begin again.
“Nicolai?” She whispered in the darkness, afraid that she might break the trance that he seemed to be under. “Nicolai?” She asked a little louder when he didn't respond. There was another pause and then he moved, leaning over, he brushed his tongue over her wound. Between laps he spoke.
“Yes, my darling?” His lilting accent thickened with the syrupy film of blood.
“Am I a vampire?” She asked, going for the direct approach. She didn't think just being on the receiving end of a bite would turn her, but then again, what did she know about becoming a vampire?
“What is that?” He asked, leaning closer, his upper body leaning against her heavily.
“Since you bit me…am I a vampire now?” She hadn't realized how stupid the question was until Nicolai began to chuckle. He laughed like a villain and it sent chills down Cora’s spine. She wanted nothing more in that moment than to leap from the sarcophagus and run all the way back to the bed and breakfast, but she needed to know.
“No.” Nicolai said between chuckles. “Was that what you were hoping for?” He asked, his voice suddenly becoming that sultry whisper again.
“I…I'm not really sure…” Cora said. She hadn't given it much thought. It was only in the heat of the moment that she had begged him to bite her, something to turn up the intensity as she approached her orgasm. If she was being truthful, she had been thinking of nothing but pleasure.
Nicolai’s bony fingers pulled her closer in to him as he pressed his lips to her ear. Cora could smell the iron of her blood on his breath.
“Tell me what you want from me and I shall give it to you…” Nicolai whispered. The instant that his warm breath brushed her ear once again, Cora felt her body beginning to respond. Every muscle tensed and her head reeled as his hand slid downward to the soft nest of her pubic hair.
“Mmm…” Cora hummed. Nicolai smiled to himself as he once again lapped at her bleeding neck wound.
“You would like to become one like me?” He asked. “If that is what you would like…” He slid his fingers downward, sliding just one fingertip between her damp pussy lips.
The instant Nicolai touched her, Cora’s body gave in to his touch. Once again, she became putty in his hands. Did she want to become a vampire? Was this just a vacation fling? An experience to write home about…or not, as the case might be. Or was this a lifestyle that she wanted? The immortality, the power, the incredible rush of an immortal orgasm.
“It is your choice, Cora…either way I will give you pleasure.” He rubbed his finger over her clitoris gently. “I will make you cum…” He rubbed small circles and Cora pressed backwards in to him.
“Yes, make me cum…give me your gift and make me cum…” Despite the words that fell from her lips, she wasn't sure, she wasn't sure at all. Still, as Nicolai rubbed soft small circles over her clitoris he leaned forward and pressed his lips to her wound. This time he sucked harder. The pressure of his force made it painful and Cora couldn't help but groan as he drank from her deeply. “Ow!” She moaned, trying hard not to pull away. Nicolai didn't speak, instead he continued to rub her clitoris rhythmically as he swallowed his fill. “No…Nicolai…it hurts, it….Ahhh!” She gave in as he slid his fingers down, dipping two plump fingertips inside her cum filled pussy. As he fingered her, the sounds of her suckling wetness soothed her. The intense feeling of pleasure crept in as he pulled his mouth back from her. His blood stained lips kissed the side of her face and Cora turned to him, once again sliding her body underneath his.
“You are sure?” He asked, his thick fingers still buried inside her. Cora nodded wordlessly in the darkness. “You must speak. I must hear you ask for this.” He said, stroking her gently as his own deposited cum soaked his fingers.
“Yes!” Cora blurted out as she pushed herself down, begging him to finger her deeper, harder.
“We cannot undo what is about to be done…” Nicolai said softly, sliding his fingers from inside her. Steadying himself on his other hand, he brought his wrist to his mouth and with a sickening crunch, Cora once again smelled the scent of blood. The tangy iron smell filled the closed sarcophagus and she could feel him bringing his wrist closer to her. “You must drink…” He said firmly. “Drink until you can stand no more.” He brought his wrist to her lips.
Chapter 7
Cora took the shallow stone steps one by one, her shaking legs forcing her to walk slowly. Her breath came in stops and starts as she steadied herself against the cool stone walls. Each step made her lightheaded. All she wanted, all she needed was to make it back to the bed and breakfast. She wanted to see her dad’s familiar face, to sink in to that warm soft bed. Willing herself forward, Cora stepped out in to the main church. The smell of
the room seemed even more over powering than usual.
As she stumbled to the main doors of the church, she leaned against them, catching her breath.
“Esti bine?” A small old woman called to Cora. Shuffling closer she repeated herself. “Esti bine?” Cora had no idea what she was saying, but all she could do was shake her head in response. The woman came to a stop in front of Cora, her cold wrinkled hand lifting Cora’s face up to the dimming afternoon light. “Oh, Doamne…” She gasped, her stiff fingers moving down to Cora’s neck wound. “Oh, Doamne!” She shouted this time. She continued shouting, screaming, until a man came running. Cora saw the dark and light blue of his uniform before her legs gave way completely and she slumped to the ground. She gasped in shallow breaths. Just before the blackness took over completely, she heard the old woman speak one word that she recognized, “Dracula.”
Cora felt herself sinking in to darkness, a darkness so thick that she doubted and would ever climb from it. For now, she couldn't even bring herself to try. It was cool and clammy and she was overcome with a sense of complete surrender. Closing her eyes even to her unconscious, Cora sighed a deep sigh of relief.
Chapter 8
“Honey? Honey, can you hear me?” It was a familiar voice. Cora could feel the warmth of a hand around hers. “Cora, I see your eyes moving…come on…I know you can hear me.” He sounded more and more desperate with every word he spoke. Cora struggled. Her eyelids were heavy, but she forced them with everything she had until they cracked open ever so slightly. “That's it honey! I'm right here, daddy is right here!” Her eyelids were too heavy, she allowed them to close once more. “No, no, no, don't you leave me again!” Michael said, his voice strangled with tears. “For fuck sake! Open your eyes!” He shouted. Cora had never heard her dad use the word ‘fuck’ before. Even in her drowsiness she was shocked. Once again she forced her eyelids to crack open, the corner of her mouth raised in a smirk. She wanted to say something, to tell him that she had heard him, but as she tried to open her mouth all she could do was begin to gag. “Nurse!” Michael shouted. Cora heard the clatter of a chair falling backwards as she slid back in to the comfort of her unconsciousness.
It felt as though it had been days since she last tried to open her eyes, yet it felt as though time had stood still at the same time.
“Honey?” Michael’s voice came again. “It's okay, the tubes are gone. I had the nurses take them out.” Cora tried to pry open her eyelids. Once again they felt like they weighed a million tons, but as her dad squeezed her hand firmly, she knew that she had to try harder.
When finally Cora managed to crack open her eyes, opening them the rest of the way was easy. She stared in the direction of her dad, blinking.
“Honey?” He asked, peering closer. Cora blinked again, trying to clear the blurry film that covered her vision.
“Dad?” She whispered hoarsely.
“It's okay, you don't have to talk.” He said, squeezing her hand tightly and using his free hand to brush her dark hair from her forehead. “Just rest, you've been very sick.”
“Why?” Cora whispered, her brow furrowed. She couldn't remember a thing short of arriving at the small bed and breakfast.
“Shh, don't try to talk. Let me get you some ice chips.” He said, pushing back his chair. The chair legs scraped the floor and the sound was more than enough to make Cora cringe. She listened as her dad tapped his way out of the room in his black dress shoes. She could hear him in muffled tones, talking to the nurses. She could hear them talking back and then the whirring of an ice machine. She was just about to doze off again when the familiar clicking of her dad’s shoes startled her. “Here you go, sweetheart.” He said, setting the paper cup on the table beside the bed before helping her to sit up.
Every movement, every flex of a muscle hurt. Cora tried to hold herself up, but soon fell back on to her pillows.
“It’s okay, here.” Her dad fished out a larger piece of ice and rubbed it over her parched lips before she took it in her mouth. He sat back down beside the bed. “I was beginning to think I might lose you.” He said. Cora frowned questioningly. “You just wouldn't wake up. It's been four days with nothing, and then today I saw your eyelids flutter. I told the nurses…” Michael choked back tears. “I told them that today was the day, but they told me that I was getting my hopes up. They said most of the times when they see this type of thing, people never wake up. I told them, not my girl. My girl is a fighter.” Cora smiled at him as best as she could manage. “I knew you would come back to me.” There was a wrapping on the door and Cora strained her eyes to recognize who was there.
“I hope that I am not disturbing you? The nurse, she just told me that Cora is awake…” Cora may not have been able to see him, but she knew Nicolai’s voice. In a second the sounds and smells of the church came back to her. She remembered the darkness of the sarcophagus, the scent of blood, the thrill of the most intense pleasure she had ever known.
“Yes, yes, come on in! Honey, it’s Nicolai! You remember, from the church that day? He has been so incredible. To tell you the truth, I think his magic fingers have a lot to do with you coming back to me.” Cora blinked, still trying to focus on Nicolai’s form as her dad continued to talk. “Every day he came to visit. Every day he applied a poultice to your neck. The nurses said it was all folk medicine, but I told them that I didn't care. I would have tried anything to bring you back.” Slowly, Cora brought her hand up to her neck. She remembered.
The skin on her neck was tender and Cora flinched as her fingers brushed over a thick dry scab.
“No, don't touch it!” Michael said quickly. “Whatever you do, don't touch it. It took two and a half days to get the bleeding to stop and a day and a half more to scab over.” Cora pulled her hand away. Closing her eyes, she tried to remember those last minutes inside the sarcophagus with Nicolai. She recalled the smell of blood, the warmth of him on top of her, him pressing his wrist to her lips…and then there was nothing. Slowly, secretively, she ran her tongue over her teeth. They all felt normal…but then again, how long did it take for fangs to come in? She needed to be alone with Nicolai. Opening her eyes, she reached over slowly for the paper cup on the table beside the bed. Then, sweeping her arm as if she were going to take hold of the cup, she knocked it to the floor. Michael jumped up immediately. Grabbing the cup off the floor, he scooped what ice he could back in to it before standing. “I’ll fetch you a new one.”
As soon as she heard the tapping of her dad’s shoes leave the room, she heard the soft padding of Nicolai coming closer.
“Nicolai?” She whispered, her throat red raw.
“I am here, my love.” He said in his familiar accent.
“Did I…?” Reaching up he brushed her hair from her forehead in the same way that her father had not too long before.
“No.” He whispered. “That is why they have been unable to stop your bleeding.” He leaned in to get a look at the scab on her neck. “You left so quickly when you changed your mind, like you had suddenly become so afraid of me…I had no time to care for you…for your wound.” He glanced back at the door to ensure that they were still alone. “I had wanted so much to make you mine, to have you accompany me throughout my life eternal.” He said, leaning down and kissing her cheek. “But it was not what you desired and I had no choice but to tend your wound…the wound that I gave to you, to ensure that you would survive.”
“The others?” Cora whispered. Nicolai shook his head.
“Not I. Sometimes others of our kind will come here, to the motherland. They are less adherent to the modern ways of our lifestyle. They believe that the motherland requires live feeding and without treatment, without our cure, the drained will always expire.” He sighed audibly. Cora turned her palm face up on the bed and moved her fingers. Nicolai slid his palm over hers, their fingers intertwining.
“Thank you…” Cora whispered. Nicolai forced a smile as he squeezed her hand gently.
“I would never watch
someone as beautiful as you suffer at my hand.” He said sadly. Cora attempted to nod, but just the very basic movement of her head caused her to grimace.
“I'm sorry.” She whispered dryly.
“You have nothing to be sorry for, my darling. This life is not for everyone. Nothing would have broken my heart more than for you to give up all you had, only to despise me for an eternity for taking it from you.” Cora wanted to tell him that she would never have done that. She wanted to tell him that she knew it had all been at her request, a stupid game that went too far, but had she been given what she asked for, she would have lived with the consequences. Instead she smiled weakly. The truth was that she didn't know if she would have blamed Nicolai. She couldn't say whether or not she would have lived with the consequences of her choices…although, in the life of the undead there was little other choice.
“Thank you, Nicolai.” Cora said weakly, her eyes beginning to grow heavy. She tried to say she loved him. She loved him for everything he had done, for his patience, for his willingness, for his sacrifice, but the words struggled against her parched throat. “Love…” her eyes closed and Nicolai smiled.
“I love you too.”
