ABOUT THE ARTIST
As a child, James Powell was very much afraid of the dark. It wasn't until his early teens that his mind twisted, and he became attracted to the horror genre. He's lived in the backwoods of the Deep South most all his life, which have provided inspiration for many of his dark and surreal works. He's worked with authors Neil Gaiman, Brian Hodge, Scott Nicholson, John Prescott, Joe R. Lansdale, and many others. He has done design work for actor Lance Henriksen, and horror punk legends the Misfits, and his art has recently appeared in the pages of Fangoria magazine. Being a native of Mississippi, and having a fondness for the Blues, he's often had to deny rumours about visiting crossroads and having dealings with the Devil. However, at the age of thirteen he did play in a fresh-dug grave. More about James can be found at greyhaven.weebly.com.
