Her Guys [Blessed 3] (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) Page 12

Deep down he knew this was going to be the longest wait of his life. If another woman died…if Katarina died, he didn’t know what he’d do.

  * * * *

Katarina hummed a merry tune as she unlocked the house and took her first load of groceries into the house. It was a bright, sunny day. Gaven and Lunn were checking out yet another enhanced security system. They’d already beefed up the current one. Her nighttime home-trasher would have a hard time getting in this house unnoticed.

Two more trips and she was done. As she was putting the food away, she thought she’d seen something move in the corner of her eye.

  Volker, perhaps?

When she looked up and saw nothing, she sadly remembered he’d been called away to a new assignment last night. She was going to miss him, sharp tongue and all.

She sighed and went back to putting away the food. The sound of a baby kitten crying caught her attention, and she followed the sound to the sliding glass back door. She followed the sound around to the side of the house. Her stomach clenched when she saw a recorder on the ground. Wanting the noise to stop, she turned the recorder off and looked around. No one was there.

It was probably some teens in the neighborhood. Lord knew there were enough of them on this street. She loved children of all ages, but teens could be so mischievous.

Going back into the kitchen, she put the recorder down on the counter for the guys to see and went back to putting away the groceries.

The phone rang, and she jumped then laughed at herself. “Hello,” she said, expecting Gaven or Lunn to reply.

Heavy breathing sounded through the phone, and then a gruff voice said, “You shouldn’t be so gullible. It could get you killed.”

Wind howled through the window, making her jump and squeal. She hung up the phone and, with shaky hands, called Gaven. He told her to go into the downstairs bathroom with a weapon and lock herself in. She heard footsteps overhead and squeaked then grabbed the wooden block that held their knives and rushed into the restroom and locked the door. Quickly, she put the block down and pulled one knife out.

Her heart pounded in her ears, and she slowed her breathing so she could hear. Footsteps came down the stairs, and a phone rang. Her stalker angrily answered the phone. Silence ensued then he gruffly told somebody he was on his way. She heard him go through the room and then heard nothing but her own heartbeat.

Sagging against the wall, she waited and listened.

The front door burst open, and Lunn yelled, “Katarina, Katarina.”

She dropped the knife she’d been holding and opened the door and rushed into Lunn’s strong arms. Gaven bounded into the room and circled his arms around her and Lunn. They hugged for a long moment, projecting love and relief to each other.

Lunn loosened his grip and, in a hushed tone, said, “Gaven, check upstairs. I’ll check things out down here.”

“I…I think he’s gone. His phone rang, and I heard him tell someone he was on his way. Then I heard his footsteps heading toward the back door.”

A thorough search revealed that he was gone and that he’d taken the recorder from the kitchen counter.

Gaven came down looking quite pale. He led them up to Katarina’s old bedroom where some of her stuff still was. The dresser mirror had a message written in marker: Soon this will all be over.

“That’s it, we’re upping security,” Lunn said, gruffly.

Gaven and Katarina agreed. Although she was the problem, some cameras outside would show who’d been there.

Gaven called Joe Martinez, and he showed up with a crew that took pictures of the scene and promised to let them know the second he had any news on the case.

  * * * *

Things were tense around their house for the next three days. Gaven hadn’t gone to work, and Lunn and Katarina worked strictly from Lunn’s home office.

He almost jumped out of his skin when the doorbell rang. Peeking through the peephole, he saw Joe and quickly opened the door.

His friend came in, and they all took a seat in the living room.

“We caught the killer this morning. Gerald Bantell was in the process of strangling his next victim when we burst in. The woman has a bruised neck but will recover. We found a picture of your doll in a stack of pictures he had stashed in his residence. The picture was from the hotel you stayed in. He was taking pictures of the dolls before the crime and then after the crime. He claimed the dolls were possessed just like their owners, and it was his duty to rid the earth of them. Altogether we found twenty pictures of dolls that he hadn’t gotten to yet.” Joe looked at Katarina. “Yours and two others had question marks on the backs. Our team will be going over everything, but I just wanted you to know he’s been caught.”

“That’s wonderful news, Joe. What was the connection?” Lunn asked.

“Gerald was hacking security cameras in his area. That’s how he knew which women had dolls and lived alone.” Joe shook his head sadly.

“At least you caught him. Let me get us some beers to celebrate Katarina’s and the other women’s safety, and your victory,” Gaven said with a wide grin.

“Our victory,” Joe corrected. “Without your input we wouldn’t have been looking for a hacker.”

  * * * *

Joe had just had time for one beer before he was called away.

Katarina enjoyed the warmth of Lunn’s hand. He was guiding her to the playroom, and Gaven was following closely behind her.

They were all giddy with relief and needed some time in the playroom to burn off their elation.

Lunn led her to the cuffs that hung on the far wall. “Strip, kitten. I need to make you purr.” His voice was husky with desire.

As she removed her clothes, so did they. She loved the sight of their strong, ripped bodies. She’d never get tired of seeing them in all their naked glory. The sexy dips and grooves of their muscular forms made the bud between her legs throb with need. No one could satisfy her like them.

Lunn took hold of her wrists, and kissed each one before cuffing them overhead. The chain hung from the ceiling, and was just the right height to stretch her body out fully, without putting too much pressure on her arms and shoulders. The look of carnal desire in their eyes was making her juices flow.

Lunn turned to Gaven. “Are you ready for what we talked about?”

Lust darkened Gaven’s light-brown eyes to a richer dark-chocolate color. “Yes, if she is.”

“Ready for what?” she asked cautiously, but with a hint of excitement. She was always game for whatever they had planned. They lit her fire like nobody else could. Katarina trusted them completely.

“I’ll tell you in a minute,” Lunn answered. Gaven slid in behind her, making her take a step forward and into Lunn’s arms. His lips crashed down on hers as Gaven nibbled on her shoulder.

They stroked and kissed her until she was shaky with need. Their strong hands glided over her body making heat swirl in her groin. Gaven’s hands were circling her breasts, inching closer to her aching peaks. Lunn’s hands were massaging her hips, and slowly easing their way across her butt. His tongue delved deeply into her mouth, tasting every inch.

A puff of air tickled her ear at the same time Gaven’s work-roughened fingers clamped down on her anxious nipples. She groaned into Lunn’s mouth. He grabbed her ass more firmly, and pressed his erect flesh into her abdomen. Gaven thrust his hips forward and slid his swollen cock between her round orbs. Lunn helped him by spreading her cheeks wide. Moaning, she pressed into Gaven’s erection. The feel of his hard member nestled up to her rear entrance was dark and delicious.

“We want to take you at the same time. Is that okay with you, babe?” Gaven asked as he rolled her nipples one last time, and then ran his fingers down her sides, and into the crack of her ass. He eased back, and rubbed his thumb over her back entrance.

Sparks shot through her ass, and she jumped then pushed back into his finger. Lunn slid his hands around her body, and rubbed her clit. She longed to r
un her hands through Lunn’s shoulder-length hair, but with her hands cuffed overhead all she could do was clench her hands around the chains and press her face into Lunn’s soft strands.

Gaven slid a thick finger into her pussy, and then made a slick trail to her puckered opening. He made the trip over and over. Desire built within her. Need had her shivering and her pussy throbbing. Gaven slicked her hidden star up with the juices dripping from her pussy then slid a robust finger in her eager hole. She groaned as a rush of dark pleasure raced through her body.

“Are you okay with it, kitten?” Lunn asked, then licked and kissed her neck.

“Yes.” Her answer came out as a breathy moan. Her body craved this new experience with the two men she loved more than life. Lust was starting to ride her hard.

Gaven groaned then licked the other side of her neck before he bent down, and she heard lube being opened.

“Have you done this before?” Lunn asked.

“No, but I want to. Badly.”

“We want desperately to have you this way.” Lunn caressed her cheek. “He’s lubing up for you. When he pushes in, I want you to push back into him,” Lunn whispered into her ear. Gaven stroked her ass then went back to teasing her ass until it opened enough to allow two of his fingers to slide in. She was burning up with need and almost cried with relief when Lunn picked her up and impaled her on his throbbing cock. God, she loved to be filled by him. His thick cock stretched her perfectly.

She wrapped her legs around his waist and groaned when Gaven rotated his fingers in her ass. Lunn was a tight fit. She wondered what it was going to feel like to have Gaven’s hard erection buried in her body at the same time Lunn was in her.

“Hurry, Gaven. I don’t think I can last much longer. She’s so fucking tight,” Lunn said in a passion-roughened voice.

Katarina nuzzled her nose into Lunn’s neck and breathed deeply. She pressed her breasts into his chiseled chest and rubbed her aching points across his hard flesh. Pleasure arrowed from her nipples to her swollen clit.

Gaven slid his fingers in and out of her lubed opening a few more times and then replaced them with his cockhead. Pleasure and pain made colorful lights swirl before her eyes. Gaven crooned in her ear as he inched into her snug channel.

When it got too painful, she winced and Lunn reminded her, “Push back, babe. I’ll help you.” Lunn leaned forward, pushing her back as Gaven eased the rest of the way into her body. Fire heated her ass, and sweat broke out on her body.

“You’re doing fine, little kitten. Relax. Let the pleasure take over,” Lunn whispered into her ear. They both stayed still and stroked her body until the pain eased and desire replaced it. When the throbbing of her clit demanded she move, she bucked her hips, and they all groaned.

They slowly started moving until she was so close that tingles danced across her skin and lights flashed before her eyes. Damn, they felt good sharing her body at the same time. Squeezing her pelvic muscles, she clamped down on both of their steely lengths.

Both men growled then started fucking her hard.

“Fuck. You feel good, babe.” Squeezing her hips, Gaven increased the power of his thrusting hips.

Lunn groaned and tightly gripped her thighs, holding her firmly to him. He angled her so his pelvic bone slammed into her clitoris every time he drove his massive cock into her dripping pussy.

Ecstasy rushed through her body. She screamed as waves of pleasure coursed through her entire body.

Lunn stiffened and buried his face in her shoulder. She felt his heated release shoot into her body right before Gaven’s dick pulsed and his silky semen rushed into her quivering canal. Sparks went off in her groin as Gaven and Lunn’s essences combined with her own.

Nirvana held them all in place, frozen in heavenly peace. Power suddenly surged through her body, and both men moaned and shuddered. Pleasure pulsed through her groin. Wave after wave washed through her.

“Did you two feel that?” she asked as soon as she was able.

“Oh yeah,” they said in sync.

“I love you.” Gaven’s voice was rough with emotion as he spoke the words for the first time.

Love and happiness flowered in her chest and twined its way through every inch of her being.

“I love you too, kitten,” Lunn said as he released her legs, then guided her down before he reached up and uncuffed her. “You’re my world, Katarina.”

Tears formed in her eyes, and she had to swallow the lump in her throat. “I love both of you more than words can ever express.” They each took her hand and led her to their bedroom. To their personal haven.

As they snuggled to her in their bed, she hoped nothing ever took them from her. She feared she couldn’t live without them.

  Chapter Fourteen

The doorbell ringing had Katarina walking over to the door and peeking through the peephole. Flowers and balloons were all she saw. A smile tugged at her lips. What were her guys up to?

She opened the door and was surprised when she saw Bill from her papa’s old place standing there. “What can I do for you, Bill?”

“I’ve come for you. I bought your dad’s old place and fixed it up so we can live there,” he said excitedly.

“Um, I can’t do that, Bill. I live here with Lunn and Gaven.” Her heart started racing, and warning bells rang loudly in her ears. She tried to close the door. He dropped the flowers and forced the door wider. The vase shattered on the steps.

“No, you were just visiting with them. They were watching over you until I could come for you. I’m sure that’s why your father let you move in with them. When I checked the place out a few days ago, the security was a thousand times better than that apartment you lived in. Of course, you failed the test by falling for a recording of a hurt animal. That means you’ll be a kind mother to our children, but you have to be less gullible, flower,” he informed her and then pointed at the camera that was attached to the roof. “I see Lunn is upping the security. That’s good. The loose wire tells me the job isn’t finished, though.”

Damn, he would have to notice that. The wires to the cameras hadn’t been up to Lunn’s standard, so he’d had the company order a higher grade. With the killer caught there hadn’t been a need to rush the job, or so they’d thought. Now she wasn’t so sure.

“Bill, I need you to leave. Lunn and Gaven are not just my friends, they’re my…”

“Hush, I’m here for you. Let’s go up to your room and get your stuff. You’ve already ruined our first day together by making me drop the flowers. We are going home,” he stated harshly.

She turned and ran for the phone. He raced up behind her and tackled her. As the air whooshed from her lungs, she felt a pinch in her upper shoulder and searing heat surge through her veins. Her eyes grew heavy, and she was vaguely aware of being picked up and carried from the house. The last thing she saw was broken glass on the steps.

  * * * *

“What the hell?” Lunn grumbled when he saw the broken vase and wilted flowers on his front steps. He entered the house and started looking for Katarina. Panic swept through him when he couldn’t find her.

Dialing Gaven, he tried to calm down. When Gaven picked up he asked, “Is she with you?”

“Who?” Gaven asked, confusion clear in his tone.

“Katarina. I came home to find a broken vase on our steps and her gone. Have you heard from her?”

“No. I’ll be there in a minute. Trent’s here, so I’ll bring him along. Hold on, we’ll figure this out,” Gaven said.

Lunn searched the house for clues but found nothing. Going out to the flowers, he looked through them and found a card. Snatching it up, he read the note. I look forward to our future as husband and wife. Off to our home we go. I love you, my personal flower.

Gaven and Trent pulled up and hurried over to him. He’d never been happier to see his friends than he was right now.

“Have you heard anything?” Gaven asked.

“No, but I found this card
,” he answered as he handed it to Gaven.

Both men looked it over and scowled.

“Shit! The killer must have only crossed her path once. That is probably why there was a question mark on the back of her doll’s picture. Gerald must have lost her when she moved.” The pulse in Gaven’s throat was pounding as he put the puzzle together.

“Think, guys. Who else could be in love with her or have enough of a grudge against her to mess with her like this?” Trent pointed at the card.

“Let’s go inside and figure this out.” Gaven ground the words out.

On the kitchen table, they placed a notepad and tried to think of anyone who could have taken her.

“Devon could have done it. He’s not right in the head,” Lunn stated and then watched Gaven write the man’s name down.

“There was that man from the pub that threatened her.” Gaven thought for a moment and then snapped his fingers when he remembered the man’s name. “Scott is his name.”

Scott’s name was added to the list.

  “Is that all?” Trent asked.

Lunn turned the pad around and wrote Bill on the list.

  “Who is that?” Gaven asked.

“He was the man that knocked a drunk out at Rico’s once for touching Katarina and suggesting she go downstairs with him to have sex. The bouncer sent Bill home to cool off. The man seemed to think she belonged to him,” Lunn said.

“I remember that. We thought we were going to have to step in, but the bouncer handled it.” Gaven nodded his head thoughtfully. “Bill continued to pound on that drunk as if he was personally offended. The signs are there. He could be our guy.”

Grabbing his phone, Gaven called Joe, Lunn called a couple of his friends, and Trent went into the backyard and practiced throwing his knife into a tree trunk.
