His Substitute Wife... My Sister Book Two Page 13

by Sylvia Hubbard

He gasped as her hand moved from his lips to his neck, down his chest, over his stomach and then firmly grasp his warm steel.

These past few weeks had taught her how to entice and seduce. It was like an art form to him and she was just a student, but she learned very well from the master. He was helpless as her mouth ravaged his and he responded zealously, lost in her power and control turning him on more and more by the second.

It was pleasurable to feel his mouth succumb and his body shuddered under her touch as she lavished his with her hands and mouth. He tried to touch her, but she took his hands away and placed them on his side. On his second attempt to touch her, she was sterner, firmly placing his hands back down on his side as she continued to descend down his gorgeous body leaving nothing untouched.

Her dominance had him at full arousal and he cursed the moment her lips wrapped around the swollen tip. She knew his body’s signals by now and as she deep throated his member almost to fruition, she stopped and moved back up to his mouth.

“Say you want me,” she ordered.

Parker could barely focus to look up at her, let alone speak resistance.

She pressed her mouth passionately against his and with this being the only way he could respond, he suckled her tongue deep into his mouth with an urgent moan. Breaking the kiss and holding his head so he couldn’t follow her lips like he wanted, she teased him rubbing the tip of her nose under his bottom lip, over his cheek and then on his nose. “I want you, Parker. Just like that first time.”

Rubbing her womanhood against his shaft, he closed his eyes feeling her entice the tip to her entrance. She gasped as her wetness gave him the key to press forward and giving way for him to move inside of her.

Sitting up slowly, he could feel himself move deeper and deeper inside of her and if Charisse was trying to torture him it was the sweetest pain he had ever experienced. Usually he was so concerned about the woman to notice his own experience, but as she took it slow, he was able to share the glory of him entering her.

Charisse took deep breaths as he filled her slowly and at first she was terrified but once she relaxed a little while watching him look up at her with concern and then in wonderment. He forgot the no touching rule and firmly gripped her waist.

It was as if she read his mind and held his shoulders and moved her right leg down, so he could roll to the side still impaling her. In the midst of the roll, he captured her mouth, kissed her neck and then paid great attention to her full breasts trying to stuff each one in his mouth and then going for both at the same time. All the while gyrating his hips and not believing how much of him she was engulfing.

“Don’t let me hurt you,” he begged.

She nodded, but urged him on, parting her legs wider and gripping him for dear life in ecstasy as he pressed more into her. Their bodies were drenched in sweat, molding together and joining in a powerful orgasm that both craved.

Her body trembled hard and soon he wasn’t doing hardly any work as she seemed to draw him all the way until his groin was pounding against hers rubbing directly on her clitoris and that alone sent her over the edge, but he wanted to prolong this moment. Yet, her inner muscles had a mind of its own, massaging him into a wondrous explosion that joined her in one of the longest orgasms.

He reined grateful kisses on her and whispered his appreciation for the beautiful rapture she had bestowed upon him.

Charisse was happy and nothing could make her deny this happiness. Tears welled up in her eyes as she buried her face into his neck to hide her joy.

“Did I hurt you, Charisse?” he asked concerned gently forcing her to look up at him.

“If I died like that all the time, I’d be upset that I couldn’t come back,” she whispered.

Parker chortled unsure if he should laugh or not, but it was funny. When her lips played into a smile, he relaxed and drew her in his arms. “Mon amour, I never want you to leave me, Charisse. Never.”

She closed her eyes tightly and fought the wonderfulness his words made her feel and cursed herself. ‘I’m not suppose to want to live.’ Yet every fiber of her being wanted to be with him – forever.

‘When the time comes you’re going to have to choose,’ she heard Nevada’s voice.

Resting in the comfort and security of his arms, she tried to just take this moment as it was. She wouldn’t think ahead on this matter. She would just enjoy Parker.

Parker awoke early to see Charisse lying on his stomach. Whatever sheets were on the bed weren’t on there and she snuggled tight against his body for heat.

Picking up his cell phone, he realized it had been the ring tone that had bombarded his sleep. There was a number on the phone that he recognized, but had not put in his phone book to display the name.

Instead of leaving a message, the caller left a text message.

“Open door. Need to speak to you before you leave.”

Inching his body from the comfort of her reluctantly, he dressed and went down to the back door where Nevada often came to. After turning off the outer perimeter, he waited a few moments before the large body of a man ducked and even turned sideways to come through the door.

The first time he had seen Mandingo Heart he was glad Jaelen had given him the warning, “Don’t look directly at his face at first. It takes the sting out of your eyes.”

An animal had literally chewed off the side of his face and though he had plastic surgery to only correct his ability to speak and breath, the rest of the skin had healed as is and it would have taken massive constructive surgery to bring him back to normal.

The other side of his face was that of what could have been a very handsome man with the most perfect golden brown eye with a touch of green around the edge. Standing at almost seven feet, the way he carried himself, he looked almost as wide as he was tall.

“Finally saw her,” Mandingo said gruffly, his voice sounding as if it was being scratched over sandpaper with a deep resonance.

  “Really? When?”

“Last night.” He looked past the kitchen doorway and took a sniff of the air like a wild animal searching for prey. “She’s still here.”

“I wouldn’t put it past her, but at least now I know I’m getting my money’s worth.”

He looked back at Parker and twitched his good eye. “The fat chick left town last night.” Mandingo put some flight information on the counter. Looking back at the doorway abruptly, he said, “She’s up.”

“How do you know that’s not Charisse?”

“I know.” He didn’t look too happy. “Don’t like her,” he growled as if Nevada were garbage or filth.

“Have you looked at her?” Parker asked incredulously.

“Don’t need to.” Mandingo twitched his good eye again and went to the kitchen door. “Onyx is coming.”

Parker was almost inclined to reveal about Nevada’s looks, but then it might make Mandingo feel bad that he’d never get some beauty like that. After being around the giant for a few times, he felt kind of shallow that he’d had little faith in his own looks.

‘Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes before you think your situation is bad,´ he remembered his father saying. Picking up the flight information, he saw that there was a flight to Arizona and a chill went down his spine. He looked up to ask why would Joanie be going out of town to Arizona, but Mandingo was no longer there.

Instead, Onyx stood at the doorway looking none too pleased again, but when had he ever gotten on her good side.

Charisse felt the rough shake twice and roused from her deep exhausted sleep to see Nevada freshly showered with wet hair looking down at her.

“Get up and shut up.” Nevada tossed the robe at her before hurrying to go back to the door where it was cracked and she was listening to some mumbling.

Getting out of the bed quickly, she stood beside Nevada but all she could hear was mumbling.

  “Did you hear that?”

  “What?” Charisse asked impatiently
.

“Joanie took a flight to Arizona and Chyna’s not answering her phone. He just tried to call it from his cell phone.”

Worriedly, Charisse said, “Who’s down there?”

Nevada only shrugged. “I was in the shower and I heard the perimeter alarm turn off. Got the feeling like I did last night before you checked it.”

  “Like what?”

“Just felt like someone was coming. Shhh!”

Charisse could only hear mumbling and it was frustrating. Opening the door, she walked out to the hallway and leaned over slightly to listen to the conversation. Instantly she recognized Onyx Heart’s voice and though she’d never met the woman fear welled up in her.

Nevada stayed in the room and listened from there.

“Why the fuck are you going to Canada and taking that woman with you? You think this is a game?” Onyx sneered.

Parker stayed calm not even going to try to guess how she knew his plans when he hadn’t told Jaelen what he was planning. “You’re the one that told me to handle my business, didn’t you?”

Onyx only looked a little perplexed.

“I took your information and advice and I decided to handle what was left in the past,” Parker explained. “I talked to him about a month ago right before Chyna left and I received approval.”

  “And?”

“We’ll cross that bridge when I get to it, but until then I decided to get Charisse out of the house before she’ll be too encumbered to go anywhere.”

“What else do you have planned?” she demanded to know. “Just because I haven’t been around don’t mean I don’t know what’s been going on in this house.”

“And I don’t put anything past you not knowing, Onyx. I should be honored that you’ve taken a special liking to me.”

“I don’t care what you do, I just want you to do the right thing.”

“And that’s my intention is to do the right thing,” he said adamantly. “Jaelen warned you only say things once.”

“Damn right,” she growled and then looked at the kitchen doorway suspiciously. “What about the bank account?”

He frowned, but then remembered what Onyx was speaking about. “I haven’t spoken back to the accountant regarding that, but I really have no idea what it was. I went to storage to check all my old records and I didn’t see anything about a bank account. If that is the fifty thousand that Pascal stole, hell yeah, I want to get my hands on it, but if it was stolen from somewhere else, then I need to back track and put some work in and find out where the hell it came from before I even think about touching it.”

“That’s going to cost you,” Onyx said.

  “How much?”

“Ten percent of the total amount.”

“Why the hell so damn much?”

“Looking cost, plus I’m getting bored to fucking death around here and I need to make someone angry.”

“You’re a money hungry bitch, Onyx,” he sneered. “And I have never wanted to call a woman a bitch until I met you. Not even my wife.”

“I’d think she’d take top billing along with that evil twin of hers who probably set up the damn account.”

“Before I agree to anything, why don’t I just call Chyna and find out what the hell is going on?”

Onyx leaned against the doorway and pulled out a blade from the top of her boot. “Call her, but ten bucks says she won’t answer.”

He took his cell phone out and dialed Chyna’s number while he watched her use the thicker part of the blade like a mirror and tilt it up to see out in the hallway. Most likely Charisse or Nevada was listening in the conversation. Parker hadn’t heard anything, but Onyx probably had ears like a damn hawk.

On the second time calling Chyna’s phone with no answer, Onyx asked, “Why isn’t your wife answering her phone anyway?”

“I don’t know,” he said worried and looked down at the paper again. “Why would Joanie need to take a flight down to Arizona? How did they find out so fast where Chyna was at?”

“Maybe big mouth Chyna told them,” Onyx said as if it were obvious. “Or maybe innocent Charisse is spinning this whole thing toward her advantage. Hell, that’s what I’d do if I were her.”

“And it’s a good thing Charisse is not you,” Parker snapped.

Onyx glared at him as if she was debating throwing the blade at his neck. “Call the spa to ring her room.”

He was just going to do that, but the way she was fiddling the sharp blade in her fingers without cutting her skin kept him from moving until she said that. Defending Charisse had come automatic, but he really didn’t think Charisse could have orchestrated getting herself pregnant, convincing Chyna to leave and then getting him to fall in love all for revenge against both sisters. That was insane.

‘But isn’t she crazy?’ he could hear Jaelen’s voice playing devil’s advocate in his head as he dialed the number.

No one answered Chyna’s phone and the attendant said she had been in her room for the past three days with no visitors on record. The last phone call the room had received was actually from Parker’s home.

“I guess from the way you said it, you didn’t call and the crazy chick didn’t tell you she called Chyna. Why would she call her sister?”

That was the mystery and he was tempted to use the intercom to get Charisse down there just to prove to Onyx that she didn’t have a deceitful bone in her body, but he resisted the urge. “I’ll talk to her about it.”

“You know it’s like you clean up one crap and then shit somewhere else. Maybe you need to keep your dick in your pants and you won’t have so many damn problems.”

He knew her remark had double connotations. “I said I’m going to Canada to handle it, Onyx. And when I get back I’ll find out what’s going on with the bank account.”

  “And your wife?”

“I’ll keep leaving messages and then also get management over there to knock on her door. If I don’t get anything, I’ll send you the money to get on a damn plane and find her.”

Onyx shrugged. “Don’t know if I want to help you anymore at the same price, Parker Mills.”

“I figured you’d try to wrangle more money out of me somehow. Did you find out anything about the girl?”

“You mean that ugly chick?” Onyx winced. “Can’t find a Nevada in the crazy house your sister-in-law was in. I put my ear to the ground and haven’t found a Nevada anywhere. Mandingo doesn’t trust her and according to you, she eats like a horse but is light like a feather. I haven’t heard hide nor hair of some beautiful girl on the streets.”

“I told you she disguises her beauty,” he said rankled.

“Still haven’t heard of any Nevada. Are you sure the in-law gave you the right name? You sure she’s not hiding her from the law or anything?”

“This woman doesn’t look like she could hide much from anyone.”

“Except who she really is, but I’ll keep on digging and if Mandingo gets some pictures of her, which he’s been trying to do, he’ll give them to me immediately. You haven’t been able to sneak a picture?”

“No and Sophie said the woman watched her like a hawk that pictures wouldn’t have been proper. She even avoided the security cameras in the buildings.”

Onyx put the blade away and frowned annoyed. “So we now know she doesn’t like to be found, so she’s hiding. Now you’ve actually given me something that hasn’t bored me to death. And you don’t know where she hangs out?”

“She refused my offer to stay here.”

“What about things she’s touched? I could grab a print.”

“I think she eats everything she touches and she usually wears gloves with the fingers cut out but washes and cleans up thoroughly after herself. Wait! She slept here overnight. You could come back after we leave and scan the third floor where she was.”

Onyx looked at the kitchen doorway, but didn’t answer him. “That might be difficult since she’s nosey enough to listen and probably is cle
aning up her mess. Don’t worry ‘bout it, Parker Mills. This is my job and either I’ll find out or catch and beat it out of her. By the way, take the in-law through the basement instead of letting her sneak out the house. You can just pull the rental in the garage and keep her down until you can get out the city. Mandingo will text you when the cost is clear.”

  “Thank you,” he said gratefully.

There was no response to that as she looked at the kitchen doorway and then walked out the back door. He called Chyna’s cell phone and then called the spa directly. When he still didn’t get an answer he spoke to the manager who told him that Chyna had told the staff to not bother her.

He left word with the manager to give Chyna the message that Joanie had caught a trip down there and to give him a call as soon as possible.

  Chapter 38

Nevada brushed past her and went up to the third floor, taking two steps at a time when they both predicted Onyx had left.

There were no words to be said. Nevada was covering her tracks and was using the towel around her neck to wipe down anything and everything she had touched.

“What’s going on, Nevada? And what is it about your name?” Charisse demanded.

“There’s nothing going on that you need to worry yourself over. I told you I had people in places even the authorities can’t control looking for me.”

“But this guy that’s looking for your sister doesn’t know about you, right?”

Nevada shrugged. “Don’t know, but I don’t want to be found to be used to roost my sister out of safety. That’d be stupid and selfish of me.”

  “So is Nevada your name?”

“There’s nothing about my name,” Nevada snapped. “You don’t think I have enough pussy power to make someone lose my file? I had that shit shredded the day I left because I didn’t want any trace to me.” She went to the bathroom to finish putting her clothes on and tried to hurriedly dry her hair, but that didn’t look like was working fast enough. Gathering her thick dark mane, she wrapped her hair about her head and then stuffed it under the ugly wig. Reaching in her army jacket, she took out her makeup and started griming her face. “I told you I only fucked with the people that would be an asset to me. Gerald conveniently helped erase that I was ever there and any release records. Nevada Schaeffer don’t exist unless I wanted her to exist.”
