Chance smiled and said, “Then why don’t we try something new with you?”

  * * * *

Chance’s heart swelled and hammered at the excitement that flashed in her eyes at his suggestion. She smiled at Clayton and kissed him lovingly then turned to Chance and reached for him.

“Tell me what you want me to do.”

Lydia had an amazing reserve of stamina where her men were concerned. The house and ranch could have fallen down around his ears and he wouldn’t have cared. She placed her hands on his thighs and leaned forward to kiss him, probably giving Clayton a nice view of her ass and pussy, judging by the way his brother licked his lips as he stared between her legs.

He patted the mattress as he pushed the pillow away and said, “Lay down flat on your back, baby.”

She complied eagerly, watching him with excitement in her pale turquoise eyes. Chance poured a little of the lubricant into his hand which he applied to his tingling, hardened dick. The enthusiasm for trying something new was rubbing off on him, and he couldn’t wait to get her in position. Clayton returned the favor from earlier as she spread her thighs and allowed him to apply more of the lube to her swollen pussy.

Chance got the vibrator from the table, and Lydia clapped her hands and wiggled all over with excitement. “Oh, goody!”

Clayton chuckled and said, “That’s it. I’m going shopping for more goodies for Lydi. If she likes that one, then a wonderland awaits her at Summer’s place.”

She giggled and said, “Yes, yes.”

Chance took her by the ankles and lifted her torso off the bed and said, “Keep your back straight with only your shoulders and arms on the bed.” He rested her ass against his hips and upper thighs with his cock pressed tight against her cleft. He liked this position because he could play with her clit while he fucked her. “Bend your knees.” He positioned her calves so that her feet rested against his ribs and smiled down at her as she stroked the back of his thighs. “Keep your back straight, okay.”

Lydia nodded and wiggled her ass playfully against him. “Okay.”

He chuckled and tilted her hips so her back was arched, and she panted a little as his cock brushed against her pussy. She braced her hands on the bed and kept her back straight and arched a little farther for him, and he slid in on the next pass.

“Fuck. That’s hot,” Clayton muttered huskily.

Chance wasn’t surprised to see that his brother was hardening again. Lydia brought out the teenage boy in both of them, and Chance loved it. In this position her pussy was even tighter than before. He eased in and out of her cunt until he was as deep as he could go. Wrapping his hands around her ankles, he scooted a bit closer to her and thrust gently. She moved against him, keeping her back straight so only her shoulders and head were on the bed.

She undulated again with him and whispered, “Oh, I like this, Chance. You feel big and hard inside me. So good.”

Patting her ankles so she’d keep them there, he gripped her hips and pulled out so only the first few inches of his throbbing cock were inside her. He smiled as he began pumping in small increments knowing each thrust was sending her into overdrive as the head of his cock rubbed her G-spot over and over.

She closed her eyes and moaned as he gave it to her again and again. “Chance, I love it. Fuck me good,” she murmured as a blush bloomed in her cheeks and spread down her body. He grasped her ankles again as she held in position and guided her movements with them, giving her more and more of his cock until each stroke seated his entire length inside her tender cunt. He noticed she opened her eyes when the whirring sound started and her lips parted a split second before the gel vibrator made contact with her swollen clit. Her back tightened and she stiffened against him, and he thought he might lose control when her cunt followed suit, clenching on him like a vise.

  “Oh, baby, yes.”

He held her ankles and pounded against her with his cock as Clayton stimulated her clit with the vibrator until her high-pitched panting turned into a full-on scream and she bowed her back as her orgasm hit her hard. Her cunt pulsated and clenched around his cock, pulling him closer to orgasm.

He thrust hard against her several more times until tendrils of heat shot down his spine and the muscles in his back hardened as the orgasm burst forth. He threw back his head and howled as each spurt of his cum pulsed from him into her quivering heat. He was dimly aware of Clayton’s loud groan as he must have joined them, stroking himself to orgasm.

Perspiration ran down his chest as he caught his breath, and he reached around to support her lower back as he withdrew from her and gently lowered her to the bed.

“Baby, you okay?” Chance asked as he dropped to the bed at her side, still out of breath. Clayton climbed from the bed and returned a moment later, cleaning his abdomen off with several tissues which he tossed in the wastebasket.

Lydia rolled onto her side and leaned toward him, the ends of her hair tickling his shoulder. “I’m wonderful.” She kissed him and then lay back down as Clayton rejoined them and she reached for them both. “Have I gone to Heaven? I feel like I did.”

Clayton chuckled and said, “Well, I definitely know where Heaven on earth is, Lydi. It’s right between these silky little thighs.”

Lydia burst out in laughter and said, “Little? Oh, I do love you so much, Clayton, Chance. You both make a girl feel positively tiny.”

Chance grinned at her merriment and replied, “Well, compared to us, you are tiny.”

Lydia nodded emphatically. “You are very big. Yes. Huge. And I love it.”

They lay there in bed enjoying their endorphin-induced high until Lydia sat up in bed and said, “I’ll be right back. I want a cup of tea before my shower.”

The naughty little minx purposely turned her back on them and crawled to the foot, giving them both a great view of her pretty, little cunt before she stood and walked to the chair where her cover-up was laid. She slipped into it and didn’t bother tying it as she winked at them and walked from the room.

Entranced, Chance watched as the silky cover-up floated around her. The light from the window at the end of the hallway glowed through the silky material revealing her silhouette. “Damn, that woman is hotter than a firecracker.”

“Yeah, on the Fourth of July,” Clayton mumbled, his eyes also glued to her graceful form as she descended the stairs.

  Chapter Twenty-One

After lunch, Lydia was upstairs in her closet, looking askance at the meager contents. She sighed, knowing something would have to be done soon to remedy the threadbare condition of her wardrobe.

When she heard Chance downstairs she left her bedroom and hurried down the stairs to catch him before he went out the back door. “Chance?”

She heard his boots on the tile as he walked to the landing and said, “Yeah, baby?”

She stopped on the first stair at eye level with him and kissed him as she held on to his shoulders. “I have to go shopping for tonight. I literally don’t have anything to wear.”

Chance nodded. “I’m sorry. I should have taken you to town before now. You’ve got options depending on what you want. There’s Cheaver’s if you want western wear or boots, Stigall’s if you want regular day clothes or shoes, and Discretion for undies and evening wear, and…other sexy stuff.”

A slow smile crossed her face. “Sexy stuff, huh?”

Chance grinned and nodded. “I’ve shopped for you there before. You’d love it and the ladies that operate it. Do you have your debit card—”

The doorbell cut him off in mid sentence, and she wondered who it could be on a Saturday afternoon. They both turned and went to the door, and he opened it. A gorgeous, curvy blonde stood on the doorstep, a big smile on her face.

“Maya! Hey, sweetie! How are you doing?” Chance asked as he hugged her with apparent care and welcomed her into the house. “Lydia, this is Maya Daire, soon to be Warner. She is Richard and Boone’s fiancée, whom you met the other day, along with their brother, Kend
all.”

Lydia smiled at Maya, remembering the dreamy look both Richard and Boone had gotten in their eyes whenever Maya was the topic of conversation.

“Maya, it’s such a pleasure to meet you. I’ve heard wonderful things about you from Richard and Boone. Can you stay?”

“Well, I brought you a welcome-to-the-neighborhood gift,” Maya said, offering the festive-looking wrapped basket she had in her hands and added, “I’m also offering my services if you’d like to see Divine or just wanted to get out for a while some time. I’m actually free this afternoon.”

Chance chuckled and said, “Maya, it just so happens that Lydia has some shopping to do. We’re going out tonight and she needs something for that, but we also need to stock up her closet.”

Maya’s eyes twinkled, and she said, “Can I take you around? I can show you all the best places to shop.”

Chance held up a hand and said, “That is, if you are up to it, Maya. It’s only been a month or so since—”

Maya said, “I’m fine, Chance, I promise. I’ll sit if I need to.” She turned to Lydia and said, “I was involved in an incident on our ranch a little over a month ago, but I’m recovering just fine.”

“Sweetie, you were shot three times.”

Lydia’s eyes widened at that news, and Maya said, “But I’m okay now. I lived to tell about it. Trust me, I know my limitations. So, Lydia, would you like to go shopping with me?”

Lydia couldn’t help but like the spunky blonde and said, “I’d love to. If that’s okay with you, Chance. I know you were willing…”

Chance shook his head and kissed her temple. “No, this will be a good chance for you to get to know one of the girls. Have a great time.”

“I’ll take good care of her, Chance. I promise.”

Chance said, “You two have a good time and I’ll see you when you get back, baby. I’m going to head out to the barn.”

Chance squeezed her to him and kissed her before bidding good-bye to Maya.

Maya said, “Open the basket before we leave. I hope you like it. I spend a lot of time at Discretion these days, so I knew about some of the things Chance bought for you. You can exchange anything you don’t need and the girls put in a gift card, too, so you can pick something out while we’re there.”

Lydia laid her hands on the basket and said, “Thank you, Maya. I really appreciate it.” She pulled on the ends of the bow to untie it and gasped with happiness when she saw the contents. “I was almost out,” she said as she removed the bottle of lavender body wash from the basket.

“Good. I knew you had to have liked it, because he bought quite a bit of product in that scent. I always run out of body wash faster than the other things.”

Lydia lifted the gift card from the basket and read the slogan on the front. “‘Discretion. We put the risk in risqué.’ I love it!”

Next was a book. “Jane O’Malley! I love her shifter stories!”

Maya tapped the cover and said, “Look inside.”

Lydia opened the cover on the erotic romance and flipped through the first few pages. She gasped when she saw that the title page had been autographed. She read the inscription out loud. “To Lydia, congrats and welcome to Divine. My warmest regards, Jane O’Malley. Wow. Do you know Jane?”

Maya got a conspiratorial twinkle in her eye. “Uh-huh. Maybe you’ll meet her someday.”

Duke Rivers laid the surveillance camera down and sat back from the magnifying light to roll his shoulders, thinking he should bill Ace a pain-in-the-ass surcharge for doing repairs. The tools he’d needed were in the van, so in the surveillance van he sat, fixing the damned camera. He pressed the heels of his hands to his tired, strained eyes and then sat there blinking. This would be easier on his eyes if he hadn’t stayed up late, gaming online with some Canadian friends.

You’re too old to be up until three in the morning playing Call of Duty, then expect to function when you get up at six.

But he was bad about listening to his inner voice. Doing that might make him explore the possibility that he was dead in the water because that’s how he felt some times. The truth was, both he and Gage were dead in the water, enabling each other.

He raised his arm above his head to stretch and looked at the screen on the security monitor in front of him. Something about the image attracted his attention, and he squinted at the screen, wondering if maybe it was time to get his eyes examined. He rubbed them again and then focused his attention. The monitor was displaying the live feed from Discretion. He turned to one of the other screens to see a better view and remembered that he was working on the camera for that angle at that moment.

The back door on the van popped open. Ace Webster poked his head inside and said, “If you get finished, will you leave the camera on the kitchen counter in the house? I’m taking Summer to lunch. We’re going to Rudy’s. You want something?”

“Sure. Bring me a couple of tacos. Hey, didn’t you say that Lydia was in Fort Stockton?”

“Yeah. She’s working for a big steak house out there. Crispy or soft tacos?”

Duke squinted again at the monitor. The angle wasn’t good, but the resemblance was almost uncanny. “Huh? Oh, soft. I was looking at the feed from Discretion and I saw someone who looks a lot like her in the store.”

“Really? I haven’t talked to her in a month or so but far as I know she’s doing fine out in the middle of West Texas.” Ace grunted and added, “I doubt she could get more remote and out of the way if she tried.”

Duke raised an eyebrow and smirked at Ace. “You haven’t told her your news yet, have you?” It was well known that Ace and Kemp adored their baby sister and were very protective of her. Duke and Gage had known her since meeting Ace twenty years before when he and his cousin were in middle school together. The two men had given them lessons in self-defense when Gage was being bullied at school. Duke and Gage had looked up to Ace and Kemp like older brothers, and camaraderie had developed that lasted through the years. Lydia had been her big brothers’ shadow, and so Duke and Gage had known her since she was a kid.

Looking irritated at the reminder, Ace replied, “No. I’m still trying to figure out a way to do that. You know how nosey we are with her. She’d have a heyday on my ass, giving me a hard time.”

Duke chuckled at Ace’s discomfort. “Naw. She’s a little sweetie. I’ll bet she’d love Summer. You’re just a little ‘skeered’ of what baby sis would say.”

Ace chuckled and said, “Smart-ass. Yeah, as soon as I figure out how to tell her that me and her brother are engaged to the same woman, I’ll make that call.”

“You better not let Summer hear you say that. She’ll make the call for you. Take the plunge before it bites you in the ass, man. Just sayin’,” he added with his hands in the air as if to say, “don’t shoot the messenger.”

Ace flipped him the bird and replied, “Everyone likes a little ass, but no one likes a smart-ass, genius. I’ll be back in a little while. Kemp just left for San Antonio and won’t be back until tonight. You have your house key?”

“Yeah. This is slow going, so I’ll probably still be here when you get back.”

  “All right. See you later.”

“Don’t forget to make that call!” Duke hollered as the door banged shut.

The camera wasn’t going to fix itself, so Duke went back to his work. He peered up once more at the monitor displaying the live feed from Discretion. More than once he’d caught himself checking that monitor with the hopes that he’d see another beautiful brunette. Doctor Emma Guthrie.

Gage had asked Summer about her, and Summer had told him that Emma was a doctor. Summer’s eyes had twinkled when she’d looked from Duke to Gage and added that Emma was single. Anywhere besides Divine, the fact that both he and his cousin were interested in the same woman might have been a problem.

Grace Warner pulled up in front of Discretion and reluctantly cut the ignition on the Escalade, shu
tting off her supply of air-conditioning. She opened the SUV’s door which let in the mid-July heat and pushed the door farther open with the toe of her shoe. At eight months pregnant, she felt like a lumbering elephant as she climbed down from the vehicle.

Deciding her attitude sucked and she needed a nap, she stroked her abdomen as she shut the door and climbed the steps up to the shady porch. Rose Marie shifted in her belly and elbowed Grace’s bladder. The baby had been very active the night before, and now Grace was just…tired.

Last night, the four of them lay in bed stroking her burgeoning abdomen as Rose Marie had moved around vigorously. Her men had all had a talk with Rose Marie, and Grace had been amused when the baby had settled down at the sound of their deep voices.

Unfortunately, she’d renewed her gymnastics during the night, and every time Grace drifted off Rose Marie woke her again. Grace knew it would be like that when the baby arrived in another six weeks and promised herself a nice, long nap that afternoon after she was done at the shop.

She sighed in relief when the icy cold air-conditioning of the shop washed around her as she opened the door. Grace wondered anew if anyone would notice if she snuck upstairs and lay down for a while.

“Guess who I just met,” Rachel Wolf said excitedly from where she sat at the lingerie counter with her laptop open.

Grace put her purse behind the counter then rubbed her lower back. “Who?”

“Maya just came by with Chance and Clayton Carlisle’s mysterious ladylove from Fort Stockton. Oh, my gosh. You should see her.”

Grace was flabbergasted. “Oh! Lydia? I met her at the grocery store the other day. Damn! Where are my brain cells going? I should have told you that days ago!”

Rachel laughed and said, “I’m right there with you, Grace. Don’t feel bad. I was sitting at an intersection the other day and completely forgot where I was headed. I had to call Eli and ask him. So, I met her and she is The Rancher’s Lady. She’s perfect for both of them.”
