Alex did his best to stay still as his mate rode his cock to oblivion but it was so incredibly hard. She looked so amazingly beautiful like this. Her hair strewn over her shoulders, her nipples hard and pink. Her light brown skin had a slight sheen of sweat on it. Her thighs so thick and luscious quivered as she let loose not holding anything back. Her moans which were like music to his ears surrounded him, mixed with his own slurry of curses and groans.

He sat up as she rode him taking her nipple in his mouth and suckling on it intently. She was close, he could feel it. The way her cunt clenched around him was delicious and felt like heaven every time.

Frannie threw her head back, grinding harder as he licked a path up her chest to her throat. "Baby.." He breathed and she came on a hoarse cry. Her body quivered as he let her ride out her orgasm on him. Her juices sliding down his shaft and slicking his abdomen. He laid back and let her rest her hands on his chest again as he pistoned up into her. Her cries of pleasure were so loud he knew the others would hear.

He simply didn't care. They knew she was all his. "Mine!" he growled as he continued his upward pace. His sack tightened and he felt he was close.

"Alexander.." He could feel she was close again as well he was careful not to press her to him afraid he'd clutch at her back. Instead he harshly gripped her hips and thighs so she didn’t go bounding off his cock. He looked up into her eyes away from where their bodies joined.

Her eyes so filled with pools of chocolate regarded him. A mixture of pleasure and uncertainty as he fucked her. He wanted to question it but he was too close, unable to stop now.

The words "I'm pregnant." Echoed in his ears as they came together his hot seed jutting into her and her walls wringing him of everything he had. He panted hard and Frannie fell across his chest but they still remained joined, his cock hardly weakening in its need for her.

"W-what?" He asked not having ever stuttered in his life but there was a first for everything with his mate around. Her head laid face down into his chest as she repeated herself. "I'm pregnant Alex."

He was sure he heard her correctly this time. She was pregnant.

He quickly tugged her face up to look at him. Those tears pricked at her eyes again. "Francesca?" He questioned and she knew what he was asking. If she was serious if this was real. She nodded without hesitation. In his mind, he saw her aura a warm brown color that reminded him of her skin so bright. In the middle of it was a little white light he had thought was just a part of her. Indeed it was their child that grew within her.

"Are you mad?" She asked, he hadn't spoken for several long moments. He took her face in his hands and gave her a serious look.

"No. I could never be angry that my mate is bringing our child into this world. I want this, I want you and I want our child. That will never change." He dropped his head onto the pillow in complete stunning awareness of everything. She had been pregnant when she got hurt; she had been growing their child whilst he hid like a coward.

Alexander lifted his head again with grim determination in his eyes as he gazed at her. Axl exuded pride and a willingness to bend to a female Alexander had never felt from him before. They would do anything for their mates. "I'm sorry. I promise I will never abandon you or our child again." Her face softened at that and she reached a stiff arm up to caress his face.

" I hope you're better at keeping that promise than your other ones." He chuckled at that wondering why he had ever promised to not touch her in the first place. Her skin was so soft, he was a complete idiot to think he could have kept his hands to himself then or even now.

Alex caressed his mate's sides and shoulders as she yawned happily, her eyes slowly drifting closed. He had everything he could ever ask for right here and he would never give them up.

  Chapter 20

Frannie hadn't expected the illuminated screen to flash Mom in the message bar. Maybe Zelik maybe even her boss David back in California as to whether or not she ever planned to show back up for work. Which she really hadn't decided on that front so Frannie guessed she was glad about his absence in her phone. She was fully mated and carrying a child. She knew in her heart she couldn’t go back. She just wasn’t ready to close that door fully.

Either way, she wasn't expecting her mother.

She hadn't spoken to her mom since she had left that day. Over a month ago now almost two. She didn't want to say she had forgotten about the woman because she hadn't. Her sad sunken face constantly lingering in the back of her mind as well as her sharp words when Fran had last seen her. She loved her mother even if the woman didn't ever return her affections.

She quickly tapped the screen. Putting her password in a few times as her fingers frantically struggled to get it right. It said ‘ Rays gone crazy. He’s gonna kill me. Frannie please help me. I can't do this anymore. I wanna get help. I want you back in my life'. Frannie sat up straight, her back still aching a bit and sore. She rubbed her drowsy eyes and then began reading the text over and over again.

Her eyes glistened with hope for her mother. She covered her near sob to not wake Alexander. His soft snores were the only real sound in the room.

Frannie was terrified and surprised Ray had actually hurt her mother. Or maybe she was more surprised the woman actually said something. He had always been overly aggressive with her. Frannie had seen the bruises but her mother admitted to nothing over the years. Claiming she fell or muggers attacked her. Even though everyone in the neighborhood knew how piss poor they were after her father's death. It didn’t matter now, she was finally seeing things needed to change and Frannie couldn't be happier.

Alexander shifted slightly next to her his last couple of sleepless nights getting the better of him as he slept so soundly. She couldn't wake him. He needed his rest now more than ever. Because now he owned her completely and she owned him. They'd be at it like rabbits till their mate claim calmed down. And who knows how long that will take. On top of that he’d be a father in less than a year. She rubbed her slightly pudgy stomach absently. The white light in her mind shifted slightly but otherwise was still. She looked over to her mate.

The sharp features of a god seem to soften as he slept. The muscular arm that slung around her waist ensured that she remained safe, and she had to admit that she had never felt more cherished than when she was with him. Suddenly the thought of going to see her mom alone frightened her.

As she thought about her, the feelings of worthlessness and abandonment were creeping back into her soul. She had to do what she thought was right regardless of her fear though. She wanted the woman in her life she wanted her to meet Alexander and be a part of their future and to be clean, free of alcohol and drugs.

  She had to do this.

She wished she could talk to Mina. Wished she could call her and she could come with her. Her best friend always knew how to make her feel strong when it came to her family. But she wasn't here and that hurt. She was still missing but they would find her, they had to find her. Frannie knew Alex was doing his hardest to help Zelik. She had to believe she was still alive so when she finally came back Frannie could talk her ear off and Mina could gush over her novel boyfriends. She had to believe she was still alive.

She felt the familiar heat of tears near the edges of her eyes threatening to spill over. Whenever she thought of Mina and what she sacrificed to save her. The lump in her throat grew. But she couldn't do anything about Mina right now. She could however do something for her mom.

She bent over and kissed the ebony hair on his head as Alexander smacked his lips in sleep. Slowly she slid out of his grasp replacing her spot with a fluffy pillow. Which he promptly snuggled into.

Oh, the big bad bear wasn't so bad when he was sleeping. She looked at him, her phone clutched in her hand and froze with all the love she felt for him at once.

After yesterday after admitting to him, she loved him. Every moment that she spent looking at him, her heart overflowed with affection. She no longer built a dam
around her feelings; she let them flow freely from her.

Why had she ever denied herself this? Maybe she didn't want to be the one that moved too fast and got burned. She didn't want to trust her emotions or pull to him. Because Frannie had to admit from the moment she saw him in the airport she knew. She knew that this giant man with a sexy smirk and kind gestures was hers. He had always been hers. Before deciding to just climb back into bed and sigh at the feeling of him touching her, she worked on getting herself ready.

We could stay. Fey rumbled, clearly not excited to leave her mate behind. Frannie ignored her knowing she had to do this for her own sanity. She could never forgive herself if she left the woman stranded.

She texted her mom back saying she would be over soon so they could pack a bag. She would take her mom far far away from Raymond to a place he could never touch her with his grubby hands again. She didn't think this would be easy as she grabbed a pair of comfy fleece leggings Alexander had bought her and a soft pink hoodie from the closet. Apparently the man had already loaded the closet with various things for her whilst she was out from her attack.

At least it wouldn't be easy in terms of getting her mom clean if the intervention television shows were any indication. She said she wants help which is the first step but she was gonna have to fight for it and that's what worried her. What if after everything that'd happen her mom didn't have any more fight in her? She would do whatever she could to help though. Just like always.

That made her stop, just like always. She had changed, hadn't she? She was living life in the way she wanted to live it wasn't she? Well now was not the time to dwell on her still lingering existential crisis. Right now she was content. She had Alexander. She was carrying his child. She had a hopeful future with someone who loved her and her mother wanted to get clean. She had to take each battle as they came.

After tying up some combat boots she snuck out of the bedroom taking one soft step at a time and blowing her love one more kiss as she went. The rest of the house was quiet none of the guards ever came in unless there were meetings to be had. But it was just past six in the morning so she knew they would be outside like always. So she tipped toed down the stairs still trying to be quiet not to wake her mate. As she reached the front door she saw the tops of two heads in the glass window. They were going to ask her where she was going and she knew that so she took a page out of Alexander's book.

She puffed her chest with confidence as if what she was doing was no big deal. As if everything was fine. She wasn't sneaking out of the house.

Wait a minute, she was a grown woman, she was not locked in here. She wasn't anyone's prisoner no matter how sexy her captor might be. Then again if he wanted to pull out the cuffs she wasn't opposed to it. No no, she couldn't think like that right now. Just the idea was making her clench her thighs. Maybe she could just run back upstairs for a quickie?

No, then he wouldn't let her go without him, and then it'd be a whole song and dance getting over there. She was an adult and needed to start acting like one and take charge.

Her beast stirred, getting anxious. We must go Axl will wake soon. I want to be back. Our mates will be upset. Fey commented. And Frannie just nodded her head in agreeance. Fey had been quiet but she believed most of the bear's time was spent communicating with Axl these days.

She knew him better than Frannie knew Alex. But at the same time, they hadn't denied the connection to the fated mating by the goddess. They wanted to succumb to it the moment they felt each other near. Though they were still in sync with each other, still two halves of the same soul. Frannie and Fey were not each other's whole worlds anymore.

She turned the door handle and strode out, the cool breeze brushing gently through her hair. Just as she suspected the guards on either side of the doors and the ones patrolling the small compound looked at her with confusion. Guns on their back and shades on their faces. They wore tailored suits as normal but they also were heavier looking coats over top as it was still winter.

"Morning guys." She addressed them with a smile on her face. They nodded in a gesture of greeting but they looked at each other confused. They will not let us leave. Fey told her and Frannie knew it was true.

Instead of stopping to consider her options, she just kept walking, breathing in and out, nerves racing up her spine. Some of them came up behind her trailing slowly. No one spoke, no one touched her. Not until she reached the front gate where one eventually did question her. His chin tilted up, his mouth a thin line of disapproval.

"Miss Bianchi where are you going?" A man she remembered as Edgar asked. He had taken over for Costas whilst the man was still at home on his forced paid vacation.

Even though what she heard from Alex, his broken legs had mended within three weeks. One of the perks from being a supernatural individual. Alexander insisted Costas take two months off to be with family and feel better before coming back. He refused at first but eventually agreed. Frannie liked him and was looking forward to seeing him when he returned. More so she was looking forward to the back and forth between him and her mate.

"I need to go see Dr.Gorky. She's stuck at her clinic today so she can't come here." Fran stated confidence building in her voice.

"I'm sorry Miss but Mr.Benson has strictly prohibited you from leaving the grounds unless he is with you." The man held his hands up as if to stop her. His intimidating, brow-covered eyes piercing her.

"It'd be best if you went back into the house Miss." He continued when she didn't move. He is no more than a cub. Shall I take over? Push him aside. The excited tone in Fey's voice made Frannie smile. But subsequently, she chided her little bear telling her no.

"My back is still hurt and I have to go see the doctor. Do you want to go in there and explain to your boss why you didn't let his mate go to the doctor when she was in pain?" Edgar glanced around at the other men worriedly; they shrugged their shoulders and shook their heads unaware of what to do. They were used to Alexander but she was an enigma to them they didn't know how to deal with her.

She didn't want to threaten the man but she had to go to her mom and she had to admit the powerful feeling she had was addicting. Frannie made a false pained sound and hunched her back a bit wincing as she felt the real sting of it.

"Fine, I'll go tell him myself that you wouldn't help me. I can't believe you would think I would leave without talking to him first. He's gonna love this." She turned to walk away an annoyed huff resounding from her.

"Wait-wait Miss Bianchi, please. I apologize. I'm just trying to follow my orders." His gruff face didn't match his nervous nature. Frannie turned and smiled sweetly. He is too easy to convince. Fey chuckled.

"It's okay I understand. This will stay between me and you and I promise. I'll be back in a flash. And I'll put in a good word for you with him." He returned her smile and nodded his head signaling to another man to open the gates.

"Do you need a driver, Miss Bianchi?" It sounded like a nice idea considering her back was still sore all the walking would be terrible for it. But Frannie was tired of being in bed as it were. This would give her a chance to stretch her legs a little. This was the perfect reason, even though a weird sense of dread overwashed her.

A part of her almost wished Edgar had said no. Then she would have a reason for never showing up. But she had been clever enough or Edgar had been too fearful of his boss' wrath to deny her.

"That would be great. Is Carl around?" She asked excitedly.

"Uhm no ma'am he doesn't come in till eight. I can have Rich drive you, he's Carl's fill in." Frannie nodded disappointed she wouldn't see Carl but still happy she was getting a ride. She would explain everything when she got back. Sure Alex would probably be a little pissed but she was sure he would understand.

  Right?

Alexander slowly opened his eyes. The curtains were still closed as he looked at the digital clock next to the bed, the glowing blue light indicating it was ten in the morning. He groaned running a
hand over his face and through his slightly tangled hair. He'd overslept and he had a dozen and half meetings today. Fucking marvelous.

Even though he had had the best night of sleep in a while he was still tired in all honesty hadn't slept in days. Between meetings to run his own operation and looking for Kaiser and Mina, he was exhausted. It was no easy task to say the least. They were in the wind, like ghosts they had just disappeared. Not even a trace of any of the other women Francesca had heard either.

He had his men and Blackwell search the tunnels and that filthy place they kept them. There was nothing left, they were all gone. They had found blood and scents but no trace led them anywhere. Not even Dresden could pick up a scent outside of the tunnels. He knew though if he didn't find Mina his mate, his love wouldn't smile sincerely again. And that was unacceptable. It was his job, his duty to make her happy.

It didn't help that the weight of the mate bond was slowly killing him. Though they had solidified it over a month ago they weren't sleeping with each other and weren't spending time which caused their ties to each other to fray. He was constantly hard and aching and knowing she was just in the other room had nearly brought him to his knees.
