Rocking Away: A Heavy Metal Romance (Slava Pasha Book 3) Page 7

by Herrick, A. D.

“Come with me darling, I will take great care of you. Don’t mind that cranky ass beside you. He is all bark and no bite.” Rebecca held out her hand for Tatiana to take.

Tatiana shot me a quick look, her eyes begging the answer, do I go with her? I nodded my head, answering her silent question. “Go ahead, I won’t be far. I will be just across the road grabbing us a bite to eat. What would you like?”

She chewed on her lip as she contemplated the question. “Just a coke will be fine.” I smiled at her and gave her a curt nod before turning away. I was inwardly fuming. Caffeine was bad for the baby and absolutely worse for her condition.

I returned a while later from the restaurant down the street with my hands full of bags.

Spreading the food on the table in front of the dressing rooms provided by Rebecca. I put together our lunch. A fruit smoothie, grilled chicken garden salad with honey basil vinaigrette, grilled stuffed mushrooms, fresh French rolls, bacon wrapped asparagus spears and chocolate-drizzled cheesecake.

Tatiana walked out of the dressing room wearing a long-sleeved black, dress with a round neckline causing it to drape off one shoulder. The dress came to mid-thigh causing my eyes to linger on the exposed flesh. She had on a pair of laced up gladiator sandals that came up mid-calf. The skirt of the dress flowed around her thighs drawing my attention back up. I wanted to drop to my knees and worship her.

Tatiana gave a quick spin and winked at me over her shoulder nearly giving me a heart attack.

“Oh my God, you look… Words do not describe how you look right now. Just wow.” I couldn’t take my eyes off of her.

“Thanks,” She said shyly, her spunk having only lasted a few moments. I was glad that she was enjoying herself. Even if she only opened up for a few moments it was at least a start. We were headed in the right direction.

“I have lunch, we can sit here and eat and then we will head to the salon.”

I watched as she walked gracefully over to the small table and chairs, her eyes taking in the food I had laid out. I could tell she was hungry. Her hand instinctively going to her stomach as it grumbled.

“Come and eat, I won’t bite.” I gave her a reassuring smile.

Her brows knitted together when she realized something was missing, the one thing she had asked for. “No coke?” She asked almost shocked.

“No coke,” I shook my head at her in admonishment.

  “But…”

“Coke will exasperate your condition. I brought you a smoothie. I promise you will get as many cokes as your heart desires after the baby is born.”

Her lip twitched a little, a sign of an almost smile.

“Only four more months to go.” She said to herself, as though she were reassuring herself that it wasn’t going to be forever.

She plucked a mushroom off the plate and plopped it into her mouth, her eyes going wide as she chewed slowly. I could see the delight as the flavors exploded in her mouth. My cock twitched at her reaction, I wanted to keep the look of wonder and delight on her face indefinitely.

“That was so good,” She gushed after she finished the mushroom. I motioned with my fork toward the dish. “Have as many as you like, everything is here for you.” I winked and took a bite of my salad.

I felt a sense of pride knowing she had liked the items I picked. I was picky about what I put in my body. I allowed myself so very few cheats. I couldn’t wait to share my favorite cheat with her, the chocolate-drizzled cheesecake. They made it fresh daily in the little bakery around the corner. I only let myself indulge on special occasions. I saw Tatiana allowing me to take her shopping as one of those rare special occasions.

We ate in comfortable silence. The few words that were spoken were about the food, what it was and where it came from. By the time we had made it through our meal and were ready for cheesecake my cock was rock hard. The way she ate her food, it was as though each bite was an orgasm in her mouth. I could feel the precum on the inside of my thigh. I wasn’t sure if I would last through the cheesecake but I was damn sure going to try.

“Try this, I promise you will love it.” I loaded my fork with a bite of the cheesecake and held it out to her to taste. Leaning forward she wrapped her lips around the fork. Her eyes held mine as she sucked the milky desert off the fork. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she moaned her delight. I bit my bottom lip to stifle the moan that threatened to escape.

Watching her moan over the flavor explosion in her mouth had been my breaking point. I jumped up from the table and ran like a mad man into the restroom in the back, excusing myself briefly as I ran.

Unsnapping the button on my jeans and yanking down the zipper, I pulled out my cock and began to stroke it. Precum coated my member lubricating my hand as it slid up and down my shaft. Bracing myself with my forearm I straddled the toilet, one leg on either side.

I bit into my bicep to stifle my moans. Faster and faster I stroked my cock. I could feel my balls drawing up, I could hear the blood pounding in my ears, my heart rate accelerated, I could feel the perspiration on my forehead and I beat my cock faster and faster.

I saw stars, white lights danced behind my eyelids as my cock exploded into my hand, the cum dripping down into the toilet bowl below. My mind went numb as I hit nirvana. Growling out one last time as the spurts of cum continued. I milked my cock with everything I had until it lay flaccid in my hands.

A light knock at the door brought me back to reality. “Damon, are you okay?” Tatiana’s sweet voice called from the other side of the door. My cock jerked in my hand.

Clearing my voice I answered, “Yeah, I’ll be out in a moment.” I leaned over to the sink and began to wash the cum from my hands. Pulling a few paper towels from the dispenser I made short work of cleaning myself and my mess up. Using a clean paper towel to wipe my face, I checked my appearance in the mirror, the redness from the exertion finally fading from my face. I tucked my cock back in my pants and adjusted myself. I was finally presentable.

When I made it back to the table where I had left Tatiana, I saw that everything had been cleaned up. The table was back to its original condition. The only reminder that a meal had ever been shared there came from the lingering scent of the asparagus.

Tatiana sat quietly, legs crossed, hands in her lap. She looked like an angel sent from heaven and nearly had me on my knees. Her eyes swept over me, taking in every inch of my body. I shot her a cocky smirk causing her to blush.

“Are you ready to hit the salon?” I held out my hand to her.

She accepted my hand and nodded, rising to her full height she shot me a heart stopping smile and spun on her heels. I followed her ass as she walked through the store. Though I just had the orgasm of all orgasms I could definitely go again with a view like that leading the way. I bit my lip and swore under my breath as she neared the front door, jogging ahead of her I opened the door and made an over exaggerated sweeping motioned with my hand signaling for her to exit. She giggled a very girly laugh as she exited.

Already my cock was twitching again to come out and play. This woman was going to be the death of me and I knew it. With Katinka’s rules and the vixen in front of me, I was a goner.

  Chapter Five

It had been a week since I talked to Tatiana. After I had treated her to the salon and shopping for items for the baby, I had dropped her off at home. She promised to call. I knew the items that were purchased that day had been delivered. I had gotten the confirmation on my phone. I guess that’s how it goes. I went out on a limb and it just didn’t pan out. Though What I had done for her was not in pursuit for a date. I had done it out of the kindness of my heart. Seeing her and spending time with her is what had caused me to hope for anything further.

I had spent the last week completely absorbed in caring for Karina. That was the name Tosha and Katinka had finally decided on for the baby. The name meant pure. That she was, she was pure love, pure joy, and had my pure love and adoration. I lay on my stomach on the floor with K
arina. My hands bracing my head up as I watched her chew on her tiny fist.

“Does that fist taste good?” I cooed at her. Her tiny gargles made me smile.

“You have to give up the baby. It’s time for her to eat and be put down to sleep.” Katinka’s voice carried lightly across the living room walls. I turned to glare at her.

“You’re no fun mom. We were having a ball here and you came to spoil the party.” I gave Karina a little tickle of the stomach.

My play time was up, that mean ‘old mommy was here to whisk her away.

Katinka knelt down beside where I was laying on the floor. Her hand began to stroke small circles on my back in a soothing motion. I folded my arms under my head and laid my head down.

  “Wanna talk about it, lyublyu?”

I shrugged my shoulders. “Not much to talk about.”

“Well, considering you haven’t left the house in a week, I’m sure there is plenty to talk about.” She ruffled my hair with her hand. “Does this have anything to do with your meeting with your accountant?”

I groaned, “No, I completely forgot about meeting him. I need to call and schedule something.”

“Okay, so then maybe it has something to do with the woman Rebecca told me you brought in her shop?” I could already tell she wasn’t going to let it go. I signed and gave in. At least talking about it would keep Katinka occupied and I would get to steal a little bit more time with Karina.

“I did meet a woman, I did take her shopping.” My attempt to be vague was thwarted as Katinka buried her hand in my hair and yanked.

“Owe! Damn-it!” I yelled reaching back to pry her hands off my head.

“Oh hush you, big baby, you will scare the baby.”

My eyes instantly darted to where Karina lay. She was busy still gnawing at her hand, she gave little to no interest to my current condition, tortured at the hands of her mother, the little traitor.

“Spill your guts and I’ll let go. I want all the details, not just the ones you think will shut me up.” Her hand released its hold on my hair and my head came crashing down into my arms with a smack as skin met skin.

“You are an evil, vile woman.” I snarled at her.

“Spill,” Her voice held a no-nonsense tone.

“I met her on a site for first-time parents; she lived locally and needed a ride to the Dr.”

  “And?”

“I volunteered to take her. The place was a dump. She goes to the local clinic.”

I could hear Katinka take a sharp intake of breath. I turned my head so I could look at her while I spoke.

“Exactly, anyways, the doctor was an ass. HE walked in did a basic ultrasound and walked out. I offered to take her to a better doctor because she said she wasn’t feeling very well and the doctor she had seen didn’t give a shit.”

Katinka listened intently, studying me with her eyes as I spoke. Her eyebrows rose prompting me to continue.

“I took her to Dr. Madison. He examined her, told her she was having a boy. Hell, she is five months pregnant and didn’t even know what she was having.” I sat up and crossed my legs in front of me, facing Katinka.

Scrubbing my hand through my hair I continued. “She has pre-preeclampsia and is undernourished.” My eyes dropped. I could hear Katinka gasp. Her hand reached out and gripped my knee. “Tell me you set up appointments for her?” She implored.

“Yes, I set up to pay all medical expenses for her. Anyways, she lives in a shady neighborhood and didn’t appear to have much so I took her out and bought a bunch of stuff for her and the baby. You know, treated her to the salon to have her hair and nails done. The works.”

  “Okay, then what?”

“That’s it. I dropped her off at home and made sure that everything would be delivered for her and haven’t heard from her since.”

Katinka’s eyes squinted as though she were trying to figure out if I was leaving any information out. “What else?”

“What do you mean, ‘what else’? That’s it. She told me she would call me, she never did.”

I signed into my hands. “Ugh, I am such an idiot.” Katinka’s hands rubbed up and down my arms in an attempt to comfort me.

“Why are you such an idiot?”

“Come on? I came on too strong. It was like I was trying to take over her life. Forcing her to shop and accept things from me.”

Laughter tinkled from Katinka’s lips. I gave her a questioning look. Not sure what she had found so humorous about my current situation.

  “What?” I asked begrudgingly.

“I promise you, as a woman, you did not come on too strong by offering to buy her things. Maybe her situation at home isn’t one that is open to being with someone else. She may still have a baby daddy in the picture or someone else. Did you ask her?” I just started at her in shock.

“No, I’m an idiot. I didn’t ask her anything about the baby’s father.”

“Well, look at it this way, you wanted to help and you did. She doesn’t owe you anything because that was not the arrangement. I know you. I know you didn’t do this because you expected anything from her. Am I right?” I gaped at her.

“Of course I didn’t want anything for it. I just wanted to help her. Talking to her online she seems so confident and strong but in person, she was meek and acted damn near subservient. Hell, she flinched when I raised my hand.”

Katinka covered her mouth with her hand. “Oh my gosh. Seriously?”

I nodded my head in answer. “It made me sick to my stomach, Tink. I just wanted to do something nice to put a smile on her face, I swear.”

Katinka attacked me and wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me down into her. “You have such a big heart, Lyublyu.”

I pried her off of me and smirked down at her. “Hey, don’t be going around and spreading rumors about me now.”

Karina decided to let the whole house know that she was ready to eat by leading out a loud scream followed by more wails of hunger. Katinka swiftly scooped her up and hugged her to her chest, bouncing her gently in an attempt to calm her. “I know, the mean ‘old Uncle Damon was keeping you from eating. He should be ashamed of his self.” She cooed gently to the baby.

“Quit filling my niece’s head with your lies woman. She knows I would never do such a thing. He nosey mommy just wasted precious feeding time digging into my personal life.” I shot back at her only partially teasing.

“Damon, we’re family, you have no personal life.” She called over her shoulder as she carried the baby out of the room.

“I noticed,” I muttered under my breath.

Play time was over. I needed to get my ass in the shower and call my accountant. Whatever he needed to see me about must be important, I had over fifteen missed calls from him this week. Walking up the stairs, I pulled out my phone and gave him a ring.

I sat in front of my accountant, Melvin’s desk, hat in hand as I heard him explain the matter that was so dire that I had to get in his office immediately. Ivan’s father sat beside me. He hadn’t said much since I entered the room. I had to be honest, I was a bit worried. What could be so important that Ivan’s father, Borya, had to be here as well?

“Damon, I’m worried about you. Over the past few months, large sums of money have been leaving your account. I attempted to trace them down but was unable to. Do you want to tell us what is going on?” Melvin asked, his voice was hesitant, as though he thought I would react adversely.

“Son, you know you can come to us for anything.” Borya’s pled as he took my hand in his.

I looked down at his hand around mine. Dark liver spots and wrinkles covered the once strong, firm hand that wrapped around mine. Looking up into his eyes I could see the wrinkles of age around his eyes and his mouth. It was like life had fast forwarded in a matter of moments. The once tall strong confident man I knew was now old, wrinkled, and looked frail. My heart began to pound in my chest. His mortality ever-present in my mind. What broke my heart more was that I knew what he
thought I had been doing with the money and it hurt me deeply. It was like a sledge hammer to my stomach.

“Otets, net. Eto, ne to, chto vy dumayete. Father, no. It’s not what you think.” I looked into his eyes, dropping down to my knees in front of him. I didn’t care where we were, who saw, or what anyone thought. I knew what Igor had thought my money was spent on and it killed me that he was hurting over it. That he thought I had broken my promise.

Taking his hand in mine I tried my best to explain. “When I found out Tink and Tosh were having a baby I decided to read a lot of books about it. I knew Tosh would be too busy worshiping Tink and someone needed to be responsible.” I shot him a small smile, hoping to break the ice and comfort him.

“I found a website for first-time parents. I had talked to many parents and learned as much as I could about what Tink was going through. I wanted to be prepared for her. She is like a sister to me.” His eyes softened toward me. I felt he may have started to understand but I continued on regardless.

“I became close to these women. Many I found were not financially well off or were in bad situations. Because I was able to remain anonymous, I began to send the mother’s care packages and gift baskets based on how many children they were having and the gender. I also included something nice for the parents, a spa package, a small check, whatever I thought fit their needs. I knew I was giving a lot away, but I just didn’t care because it was for a good cause.”

Borya’s eyes began to water. I gave his frail hands a gentle squeeze reassuring him. “I promise that is all I was spending money on. I swear on everything I am not using. I haven’t touched anything since my promise. I have a beer here and there and women. Well, Katinka cut out the women. But that is all. I promise you.”

Borya’s hand came up to cup my cheek. “You are a good boy. You make your parent’s proud.” His English broken from the emotions he was trying to hold back. Tears escaped my own eyes.
