True North Book 3 - Finding Now Kate and Sam

“Ahh …” He smiled around my tit, gave it another lick as if it were a lollipop, and then fisted my hair in his hands and crashed his mouth to mine. He groaned in my mouth as his own sensations overtook him.
Last night, I had expected Sam to be hard, fast and reckless. Instead he was tender and sweet and caring. But today we weren’t thinking about pain or pasts, we were thinking about now and nothing else, and right now I could see that side of him I’d seen in More Hall the first time I’d laid eyes on him—trouble, the very epitome of every good girl’s bad boy dream. And I could also see it was all for me.
I rocked my hips with his as he pulled back enough to look in my eyes. A sheen of sweat formed over his forehead and a bead of the salty liquid ran between the muscles of his chest. He watched me as he breathily began to sing Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved.” As he did, he brought his hands to the tops of my shoulders anchoring me down against him, driving deeper.
I whimpered as the erotic mix of pure pleasure and pain sent sparks ricocheting through every part of me.
“I’m going to make you feel beautiful,” he grunted, his orgasm near.
“Oh, Sam, you already have.” I was gone; his length was hitting some spot inside of me that rendered me helpless, completely lost in the oblivion created by Sam’s very body.
“I’m going to come, baby.”
I cried out again as he pulsed between my walls, both of us thrown into a perfect frenzy.
A moment later, I crashed over him as he wrapped his arms around me, our bodies covered in sweat and sex.
A smile spread across my face. Sam must have felt it because he tilted my head up and bowed his own head to see it.
“What are you smiling about?” He smiled in equal measure.
“You feel fucking amazing!” I exclaimed between breaths.
“Oh, so do you,” he growled back at me.
“And then … you serenaded me.” I giggled.
He laughed. “I know. I’ve never done that before, ever!” He traced the features of my rounded face softly. “I just thought about when I was first getting to know you, and I remembered the broken smile you wore and how badly I wanted to make you truly smile. I saw that real smile for the first time when I carried you into the rain.”
“I remember.” I smiled softly. “It was the first time I saw Kate … I mean I saw myself … after all that time.” I lay my head back down on his chest. “Sing that song again to me now.”
He did. He changed the lyrics up a little on the spot to represent us. He sang about the girl with a broken smile, going through the rough stuff together and expecting that it’s going to happen because that’s life. He sang about how much he knows me and is devoted to me, and how he’ll catch me when I fall. How he wants to do this every day, no matter what he has to go through.
I know Adam Levine landed the “Sexiest Man Alive” title—quite deservedly—but Sam North would dethrone him fast.
“Hey, baby, how do you want this to play out at school?” his sexy voice purred into my thoughts.
School. SCHOOL! “SHIT!” I leaped naked out of the bed. “It’s Monday!”
Sam laughed a deep belly laugh. “Just figured that out, princess?”
“Oh my God!” I stumbled into the bathroom. “What time is it?” I called out.
“You have about forty-five to make it on time.” He was still laughing.
“SAM!” I shouted.
“Hey, it’s not my fault!” he called out.
“It’s most definitely your fault!” I called back as I quickly hopped in the shower.
“Still need to know how you want to play this out.” He came into the bathroom.
“What do you mean?” I rinsed the shampoo from my hair.
“Well, I was thinking I’d just take you there on the professor’s desk so everybody knows.”
“SAM!”
“We could do it up against the wall if you don’t want to make a mess on your desk.”
“Sam North.”
“Fine, then, the staff lounge it is.”
I barked out a laugh and yanked the shower curtain across the metal bar. As I reached for the bath towel, Sam swiped it and jumped back so I couldn’t reach it.
“Sam!”
“You keep saying that. I love when you say my name as I’m buried deep within your hot, tight walls.”
It would be too easy to call in to work right now, but I’d already taken a leave of absence—not good for new staff. “You’re so tempting, but you know I have to go.”
“But that doesn’t mean I’m not going to make you cat-walk out of the shower, dripping and soaking wet—I bet in more ways than one—with water droplets running in streams everywhere I want to put my mouth.”
“Oh, Sam …” I moaned at the sheer thought of his words.
That was all it took. Sam had me up against the shower wall with his chest rubbing against my breasts as he pushed two fingers inside me.
“Oh. Fuck. I knew you’d be wet for me.” His breath played over my neck.
“You were … talking … about taking me … on my desk.” I breathed in my defense.
“That’s one hell of a hot image isn’t it?” He slid his fingers down and out to their tips before he thrust them back in, making me cry out. “Oh yeah, you’re going to come for me again. Mmm …” His tongue was frantically licking and sucking at the water that dripped over my neck, chest and tits until he stayed at the tips of my nipples with his mouth open, waiting for an errant, rebellious droplet to fall onto his tongue before sucking the waiting bud deeply into the pressure and suction of his mouth.
My knees buckled, but he caught me with his not-busy arm and, in a blink, he had picked me up in his arms, my back against the blue and white tiled wall, my legs squeezing around his hips as his body became one with mine again.
“I’m going in first, you’ll be the very late one,” I scolded and pushed him playfully as we stepped off the bus at the university.
“I say we go in together with me carrying you piggy-back style.”
“Yes, that would go over big for my professionalism.” Oh but I loved the idea.
“Jolie, we can walk in together, just a student and professor talking,” he said, trying to convince me.
“Are you kidding me, Sam?” My voice cracked. “I’m going to have the hardest time even keeping a straight face in class!”
“Oooh … I’m definitely having the hardest time.”
“Stop it!” I smiled in spite of the fact that I was trying to be serious.
“I’m going to be sitting there undressing you the entire time, Ms. Jolie.”
How was I ever going to get through this lecture?
We made it, somehow, to the entrance of More Hall. I put a hand on his chest, then pointed my index finger at him. “You, wait here two minutes before coming in behind me.”
“I like being behind you.”
I rolled my head and eyes, trying to stifle a giggle as I spun around and opened the heavy glass door.
Perfect! Sam North makes me a basket case.
Going stoic was no longer an option. To go back would be to allow the pain to dredge me under its depths again. I was wide awake now and completely out of my element. All through the lecture I had to work extremely hard to focus. It didn’t help that every time my eyes met Sam’s he had a Cheshire Cat grin that said that he knew what was under these plain, drab clothes and that he couldn’t wait to get them off of me. Oh, and every time I looked at my desk I imagined my papers strewn on the floor and myself sprawled on top of the desk, naked, my legs open with Sam between them. Yep. Thanks for that, Sam.
Then there was still Lexy and his other groupies falling all over him. But the jealousy didn’t steam me up this time, not with Sam looking at me the way he was all through class. He made me feel beautiful and sexy and wanted. I could tell the girls were getting frustrated by his lack of attention. Me? I was loving every minute of it.
After class was over, Sam walked by the desk and
Meet me after school at the bus stop. I have a surprise for tonight.
- S
The rest of the day, I felt like I was floating around on those champagne bubbles. I couldn’t wait to see Sam’s surprise.
School ended, and I walked so fast to the corner bus stop to meet him I was almost running. When I got there and peered around the side of the bus shelter, my heart dropped.
Damn. He wasn’t there yet. I sat on the bench and looked at my watch. No big deal, I could wait, he must have gotten held up. I made myself comfortable, watching the cars stop at the light before moving on. My stomach rumbled and I thought about Kells.
What about a different place to eat tonight?
The suggestion just dropped into my mind out of nowhere. It made me feel nervous, that change in the routine that made me sane, but maybe it wasn’t really the routine that kept me sane. Maybe it was me who was keeping me sane now.
Just then a beautiful black and silver motorcycle pulled up to the light. A pulsing song was cranked, and the singer was crooning about having moves like Jagger. It took a second for me to recognize it was Maroon 5. I smiled at that—it made me think of Sam singing “She Will Be Loved” to me this morning. I used to like the band.
The motorcyclist steered the bike around the corner and parked at the curb. The music was still playing as he stood and dismounted the bike. I could have sworn he was staring at me through the helmet. I shifted my gaze away from him, I was sort of staring, but it was a particularly beautiful bike …
I gave the driver another glance out of the corner of my eye. His black jeans and jacket matched the bike—sleek and sexy. At that moment, he lifted his arm, pointed to me and gave me a “come here” gesture with his index finger.
A shock of electricity bolted through me.
The driver lifted his black and silver helmet.
SAM? I felt an excited smile spread across my face. “SAM!”
He wore the sexiest grin as I ran into his arms.
“What is this?” I asked then purred, “And, oh my God, you look so hot.”
“Now that was the response I wanted.” Sam smiled, wrapped his arm around my wrist and pulled me against his hard body, taking my breath away. “Your helmet is on the back.”
“My helmet?” I echoed.
“You’re not ready for a car, but you can ride a bus; so it’s obviously not the danger of being on the road, but the idea of being trapped in an actual car that freaks you out. And I’m not riding on the bus every time we go someplace so …”
“So you bought a bike?” I asked wide-eyed with shock.
“And, baby, you are so worth it.”
He bought a bike for me? For a moment I was unsure about getting on, but then I realized that I wasn’t feeling anything but excitement over the prospect of sitting behind Sam on that bike. He was right, this was different than a car—and I could do it.
“Get the helmet on because I can’t wait to feel your soft tits pressing into my back, your legs spread out around me and your thighs tightening against my hips. Oh, yeah, we needed a bike.”
Adam Levine was singing about capturing his girl’s tongue, kissing her drunk and owning her with one look into his eyes. Yeah, that could have been Sam’s theme song.
“Maroon 5?” I cocked an eyebrow.
He brought his voice low and it was thick with lusty desire. “Oh, my sexy kitten, this song is you and me tonight.”
Oh. My. God.
He let me go to grab the other helmet and handed it to me. He looked up and down my body then said, “I’m hard just thinking about that little grey skirt hiked up high on your thighs while the bike hums against your clit.”
I swore I could feel my heartbeat throb between my legs.
“First …” Sam was close again as he reached up behind my head and pulled out my hair pin, spilling my blonde curls over my shoulder. My breath caught in my chest. “I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fantasized about doing that … and this.”
He smashed his mouth over mine, his tongue plunging between my lips, tangling with my tongue. His cool lip ring smoothly contrasted the heat we were making. I could feel the cotton between my legs beginning to soak through.
“Now, put that gorgeous body made for loving me over that seat,” he ordered.
I decided to give him a little show. Bringing my hands down to the hem of my grey pencil skirt, I hitched it up high, just barely keeping my ass—and other parts—covered so I could straddle the black leather seat.
“Oh. Fuck. Me,” Sam growled as he watched me.
“I intend to.” I didn’t know if it was the music or Sam’s desire blazing in his eyes, but I felt emboldened. It was so liberating.
A cocky smile lifted his face into a bring-it-on expression. He climbed on, settling himself between my legs, and we took off down the street.
Wonderfully, I found myself listening to music I loved but not thinking of anything except for Sam. Calling it our song for tonight was brilliant. We rode some miles to the edge of the city and Sam pulled into a liquor store.
“What are we doing?” I asked as he set the kickstands down with his boot.
“Knocking off #3.” He reached his hand out for mine.
My goal list! Get drunk. I got off the bike, thinking about how long it’d been since I’d drunk hard liquor.
“I’m going to get you nice and drunk and take advantage of you.” He thought for a second. “Do you get extra points if you do an item on the list more than once? Because the way I see it, #6 is going to get a lot of action.”
I started to laugh as he hugged me from behind and pushed us through the doors of the store.
“So, what was your poison?” He stood in front of the first row of bottles, which included vodkas and schnapps.
“I’ve always liked coconut rum,” I mused. “Especially with pineapple juice. It’s been a while.”
Sam bought a bottle of Captain Morgan Parrot Bay coconut rum. We stopped at a grocery store and picked up ice and pineapple juice then drove into the garage at his apartment building.
“I love the bike, Sam. I’m flattered that …” I stuttered. I really didn’t have the words to express my feelings about the gesture, knowing he’d bought it so we could be together.
“Come on.” He took my hand and laced my fingers between his.
Sam pushed the button for the elevator. The doors separated and, as we stepped inside, Sam dropped the bag to the floor, spun me into the empty elevator, pinning the hand he was holding up against the wall over my head while his other hand stilled my hip. Playing out the sexy song we’d been listening to, he captured my tongue and kissed me drunk. He slid his hand up and cupped my breast. I tried lifting my leg to put it around him, but the skirt constricted my legs. He noticed.
“Don’t move, baby,” he instructed, stooping over a bit.
I heard a long, loud RRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPP!
“Now, that’s better.” He grazed his hot hand up the side of my thigh, then got a purchase on the back of my leg, almost at my ass, and brought my leg up to his waist as he pressed the black denim restraining his gorgeous erection into my soft, waiting sex.
He had me moaning as he worked my mouth and tongue again with his own and cradled my ass in his hand as I held him with my leg. Seconds later, I felt his fingertips tickle over my panties, making me melt into a delta as his touch sent electric pulses through my core.
OH MY GOD! AND… We were in a public elevator quickly rounding third base! AND … I didn’t give a shit! My body was completely surrendered to him.
When the elevator lurched to a stop, in one fell swoop Sam smoothed down my skirt, picked up our bag and brought his hands to his sides.
I tried to act normal, but I was a disheveled, hot mess when three guys stepped into the elevator.
“Hey, Sam.”
“Hey, James.” Sam stretched his arm over my shoulders, pulling me against him. I became very aware that the side of my skirt was split to my hip! “We’re going up you know.”
“Yeah, so are we, there’s a party getting started up on the roof. You should come,” James said.
“Maybe we will. Thanks.”
Our floor light turned on and we left the elevator. As soon as the doors closed and we were alone again I burst out laughing.
“Oh my God! They almost caught us!” I was laughing like a lunatic.
Sam beamed as he watched me laugh.
“What is it?” I tried to suck in a lungful of air.
“You’re the most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen.”
I bit my lip and blushed. Oh, is that all?
When we reached his room, he stopped me before putting the key into the lock, and said, “Get ready for your next surprise.”
“Really?” I replied, rather giddy.
“Close your eyes for me.”
I did and he walked me carefully into his apartment.

“Hey! Don’t peek,” Sam scolded.
“I didn’t,” I defended myself.
“I’d have to punish you if you did,” Sam breathed down over my ear.
I shivered, then sighed, “That might make me peek.”
He led me a bit further before saying excitedly, “Okay! Open them.”
I did. “What the …?” My arms fell to my sides and I felt my mouth gape open. “How did ...? I …”
“They’re all yours. Whatever you like, keep. Whatever you don’t like, we can donate to Goodwill.” He pointed to the fourth clothing rack over. “And for those, I’m expecting a personal Victoria’s Secret runway performance.”
“Sam …” I was stunned.
“Baby, if it’s too big of a push, you can wait until you’re ready. I just thought it would be easier for you to shop from the privacy and comfort of my apartment …”
“Sam!” I interrupted. “I love it! I love what you did!” I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck. “How did you do it?”
