  Chapter 6

Michael was waiting for her at a table near the door. He jumped up when he saw her come in, walked over to her, and gave her a hug. While he hugged her, she noticed that she could look down on the top of his head. She had never been with such a short man and she didn't like it. It somehow made her feel less feminine and feeling less feminine, for her, meant a loss of her power, for Iza was the type of woman who embraced femininity and used every bit of it to her advantage.

Michael led her to a table in the back of the room."You look beautiful tonight", he said, smiling broadly at her.

"Unlike the last night we met?" She asked with a smile.

"No, no, of course not. It's just that tonight you look even more beautiful." Michael said in an effort to repair any damage he might have done. Already he had noticed that, with a single comment, Iza had taken control of him.

But Iza knew what he meant. He meant that she was wearing a low cut dress so that he could see more of her breasts. She felt like there was a string tied from them to Michael's eyes because whenever she leaned forward, his eyes were pulled down to them. Again, she felt the tedium that came with the predictability of men. "Biological robots", she thought to herself.

"So, Michael, how's your separation going?" She asked, regaining control of the situation.

"Separation? Oh, from my wife, you mean?"

"No, from your pet hamster. Is there another separation you were contemplating?"

"No, no, I just meant…" Again, she had him on the defensive.

"You meant you didn't speak to her about it, right?" Iza observed.

"It's not an easy topic to bring up." Michael answered, defensively. "The time never seemed right. Then there's… I have kids too, you know." He pointed out, trying to justify his behavior.

"But you're here with me now; kids or no kids." Iza replied. "I must be something special to you."

"Yes, yes, of course, you are." But what else could he say. He was forced into saying and doing whatever she wanted. He felt he had to gain control of this situation before it was too late. He reached over and took her hand while giving her the smile that always won over women.

Iza pulled her hand away and stared at him coldly. "Not yet." She said.

"But I was just holding your hand," he said incredulously.

"You can hold my hand when you understand that you should remove the word, 'just', from your last sentence." Iza said, firmly.

"What?" Michael said confused. "I'm not sure I'll ever understand you."

"I'm sure." She replied. Then, realizing that she was going too far, she leaned far forward and looked into his eyes. "You'd rather kiss me, wouldn't you?"

Michael looked into her crystal blue eyes with her long blonde hair falling around her face and thought that she must be the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. She seemed, at that moment, not even of this earth. "Yes, I could want nothing more." He said to her, his heart beginning to beat faster.

She reached over and touched his hand. "Then you must let me lead you there, do you understand?"

Michael didn't understand a thing. He thought that maybe this woman had some sort of psychological problem. However, that didn't matter. He wanted her. He wanted her completely. For that, he would do whatever it took. He would do whatever she told him to do.

And that was the state she left him in that evening.
