“You mean you can deactivate the nanotrites in our bodies?” I asked.
Thomas replied, with a smug green on his face, “Not exactly. While Echo and the organization will no longer be able to have any control over us, our nanotrites will still be under our control. We’ll still be able to use all our abilities and skills. Ain’t that awesome?”
It meant that if everything went as we planned, we would be able to do whatever we wanted and go wherever we wanted because we would no longer be tied to The Weaponized.
Thomas then told me that once he overrode the systems of our space station, the leaders of the organization would surely become aware of the fact. They would undoubtedly send a kill team to this place to take us out for treason. So before Thomas hacked into the systems of our space station and downloaded his virus app, we needed to work out our plan of action.
“Once we’re free from the ties to the organization, we can do whatever the fuck we want,” he said. “The Weaponized will no longer have any control over us, and the nanotrites in our bodies will be at our complete disposal. Only we’re not gonna run away from the organization. We’re gonna attack the main space station of The Weaponized instead. It’ll probably be a suicide mission, yet the three of us—Maya, Nadia, and me—are ready to risk our necks. But what about you, David? You in or out?”
“I’m with you, guys,” I replied.
“Good,” Thomas said. “Because otherwise, we’d probably have to kill ya, buddy.”
He was only half joking.
Nadia usually did not participate in Maya and Thomas’s discussions about their plan. She was a good soldier but at the same time, not much of a tactic, so she left all the thinking to Maya and Thomas. Moreover, she was not as good at lip reading as the other two members of our team were.
However, now that each of us was level 100 and we had a convenient way of holding a conversation, it was decided to finally call her in. After she joined us, we discussed the details of our plan.
The plan was pretty simple, though. Once Thomas downloaded his virus app to override the systems of our space station, we would have to quickly get everything we needed for the Suicide Mission—as we decided to call it—and get away from this place before the termination team arrived. Then we would get in the dropship and set course for the main space station of The Weaponized.
Before initiating the Suicide Mission, we also decided to take some time to check our stats, because if any of us wanted to change some skills, he or she would not have time to do so after overriding the systems of the space station.

I was quite pleased with my build. It had proved to be powerful and useful in combat, so I did not want to change anything. The skills that had not been learned or were not learned completely did not seem all that important to me.
