She kissed him, her hips moving in response to the stimuli of his decadent and talented tongue.

He tore away from her mouth with a groan, his hands clenching briefly on her hips. “You keep that up woman, and we're never going to leave this grassy alleyway.”

“Mm,” she responded, running her hands underneath his shirt. “Am I bad for saying that I don't think I care?”

He smiled, his attractive features relaxed and happy. “Believe me, I'll get you home as quick as possible. I plan on spending the entire night inside of you.”

The sound of a man clearing his throat loudly broke through their hazy lust. Marrok's head

swung immediately in the intruder's direction. Taylor froze in shook, too mortified to turn and see who had discovered them.

“Well, well, what do we have here?” Connor choked out, before laughing out loud. His green

eyes glowed mischievously in the darkness of the night. Holding a bullhorn to his lips, he turned in the opposite direction. “Call the search off. Marrok and his mate have been found... And let me say, it's in the most compromising of positions.”

A few catcalls and whistles broke the silence of the night. “Attaboy, Marrok,” a male voice

cried out in the distance, while Taylor groaned in misery. Marrok's eyes narrowed at Connor, his features lethal.

Connor pulled the bullhorn back up to his lips. “You might want to clean the side of your house tomorrow, Tex. I'd recommend locating a good pressure washer, as soon as possible.”

“Dammit to hell, Marrok,” a voice roared, moving closer. “What in the hell have you done to

  my house.”

“Paybacks a bitch, Marrok,” Connor told him cheerfully, holding his side from the force of his laughter.

Marrok stood them up in one smooth motion, using his body to block Taylor from Connor's

eyes while she quickly pulled her pants back on. “Meet me back at home,” he hissed out, yanking his jeans up. “I'm going to kill, Connor.”

He turned and growled at Connor, “Hope you aren't too attached to those pretty curls of yours.

I'm fixing to rip each one out, hair by hair.”

Tex arrived in time for Connor to shove the bullhorn into the other man's hands. He looked at

the alleyway in time to see an enraged Marrok barreling through. “Gotta go,” Connor told the startled man, taking off at a flat run with Marrok fast on his heels.

Taylor quickly escaped, leaving through the backyard. Her face flamed. That was the most

mortifying experience of her whole life. She hoped Marrok ripped out a few hairs for her, too.

The bystanders up front hooted in laughter, enjoying the show. Connor was giving Marrok a run

for his money, despite the small limp he still had.

His luck ran out. “Ow,” Connor yelled loudly, as the crowd shouted encouragements. They

enjoyed seeing the normally mellow Marrok all riled up. Taylor rolled her eyes and moved even faster, eager to get back to their house.

Running through the front door, she slammed it closed behind her. Breathing hard, she stood

there mortified, wondering how she would ever show her face around Wolf Town again. It would have been bad enough with just the residents knowing. With the huge meeting, though, every wolf in the world was going to know about their impromptu rendezvous.

Sighing, she unbuttoned her shirt as she walked down the hallway. Her face felt sticky from the tears she'd cried earlier, and the region between her legs felt sensitive and sticky, too. Marrok's releases seemed rather large, but it was probably normal for a man as well-endowed as he was. Her body

trembled as she thought about his lovemaking skills. He was an amazing lover, perfectly designed to give a woman the ultimate in sensual pleasures.

Grabbing a nightgown from their room, she walked into the bathroom and started the shower.

She was aiming for warm instead of super hot. Marrok's lovemaking, combined with the hot

temperatures, were steamy enough. A cold shower would have been more appropriate, but she couldn't imagine standing underneath it.

The water felt good against her skin, washing away the misery of the night. Letting it run

through the length of her hair, she closed her eyes, letting their conversation replay in her mind. Now that she knew she was Marrok's mate, everything between them finally made sense.

There was no fighting the mating. Truth be told, she didn't even want to. Hadn't she been hoping the pack would eliminate the need for her to leave altogether? Marrok was her destiny. She wanted to embrace it with open arms. At the same time, fear for the Wolf Town residents overshadowed her joy.

There had to be a way to guarantee their safety.

The shower door opened as she yelped, fighting to wipe away the water from her eyes. When

she could see clearly again, she blushed. Marrok stepped into the shower, a large grin on his face.

“Expecting someone else?” he asked pleasantly, as he stood underneath the huge shower head.

“If I was, you just ran him off,” she quipped back, coquettishly.

He growled. “Better not be anyone joining us. At least, not if they plan on leaving with their dick still attached.”

Taylor laughed at the ferocious look on his face. “Is Connor still alive to tease you again?”

“Yeah, he'll live to see another day... And no, I didn't scalp him.” Marrok sounded regretful.

“He's just mad that I caught him naked in a tree, outside of the Amish settlement.”

“What's that?” Taylor asked, her expression amused. “Did you just say what I thought you did?”

He nodded, his dark eyes sparkling with amusement. “Yep, I caught Connor window peeping on

the Amish women with a pair of binoculars.”

She giggled at the thought. “How did you know he was in the tree?”

He blushed slightly. “Let's just say I had a run in with the tree.” He ignored her curious look, changing the subject. Pulling her long hair over one shoulder, he leaned down and kissed the delicate skin of her neck. “I missed you.”

She sighed, leaning back against his body. Being with Marrok, and hearing the emotion in his

voice, was something she would have never thought she'd experience. “You're like a fantasy, come to life. If this isn't real, I have no desire to ever return to reality. Just let me be delusional.”

His eyes met her, his expression serious. “This isn't a fantasy, Taylor. I'm real, a living and breathing, 100% red-blooded male, and I am hopelessly in love with you. I've never said that to another woman, and I never will. You're it for me, Taylor. I couldn't be happier with the woman fate presented me with, even if I would have designed you myself. Everything about you is perfect.”

She turned in his arms, throwing her arms around his neck as she rained kisses across his

cheeks, lips and chin. “All these years, I've dreamed of hearing you say that.”

He grinned, enjoying her attentions. His shaft was as well, and it was quickly making its

presence known. “Get used to it. I plan on saying it often.”

“Hm,” she said softly, her eyes searching his as her hands slid up to cup his face. “So what

  should we do, now?”

“I'm just enjoying the feel of your naked, wet body,” he replied, seductively. “And so is

  somebody else.”

Taylor looked down. “So he is,” she replied throatily, grabbing a bar of soap off of the soap

dish. His dick was rock hard, the wide, thickly capped head nearly touching his belly button. “Maybe he'd enjoy some hands-on attention, as well.” Soaping up her wet hands, she quickly laid the it back down and enclosed him in her grasp.

His dark eyes clenched shut in ecstasy, his head moving back underneath the spray of water as it sluiced over his well-contoured muscles and golden skin. “Oh, I think he likes that very much,” Marrok rumbled out.

&
nbsp; Spreading his legs wider, he shuddered as she stroked him from base to tip. Taylor used both

hands, one wrapped over the other, marveling at how much flesh was still revealed. “You're much too good at that, woman,” he told her, pulling away. “I have no desire to spend anywhere but within you, and that hot, amazingly tight pussy of yours.”

Lifting her up, he said, “Put your legs around my waist. Quickly she complied, as he held her

against the wet wall with his body. Leaning over, he tasted her beaded nipples before suckling each one in, deeply. Her breath hitched in desire at the contact.

Marrok eased inside of her, her slick depths welcoming the contact. “Hot and tight, just like I like it,” he groaned, thrusting in and out. “You're so ripe and juicy, baby. See how our bodies fit together perfectly, Taylor? We were created for each other, designed to suit one another in the most elemental ways possible.”

She held him tightly across his shoulders, enjoy the flex of his muscles as he pumped deeper

into her with every thrust. Words were beyond her. The magic created in his embrace left no room for rational thought.

He slid a wide hand between their bodies, manipulating the swollen button of flesh at the top of her slit. At the contact, a gush of fluid released deep within her. Her passage clenched and released hard, the pleasure increasing by the second. He pumped his hips deeply, riding the motions, until he was seated fully inside of her.

Marrok's body was pressed completely against hers, her legs spread wide around his muscular

hips. He panted near her ear, his body shuddering, “I've got your pussy filled with every inch it can take. How does it feel to have me in you, knowing you're stuffed full of my cock?”

“I'm so close, Marrok, I can see the stars,” she managed to grind out, biting his shoulder. “I have no control when it comes to you.”

“Good,” he replied, pistoning his hips impossibly fast. “I hope to God you never do, because I sure as hell don't, not when it comes to you.”

Her body soared at the exact same time the first hot stream of his release jackknifed against her womb. Marrok roared, his shaft jerking within her depths as if it had a life of its own. Holding her tightly, he locked her into place, letting her body milk him of every last drop of seed.

Reluctantly, he pulled away from her body, before gently setting her back down on her feet. She hung onto him limply as he grinned in satisfaction. Taylor knew he realized she'd been well and truly had.

Grabbing up a bar of soap, he arched an eyebrow at her. “Don't tell me you're worn out already, mate. The night is just beginning.”

Taylor held up her hand, wagging a finger at him. “Remember, I'm still human and not used to a male of such large proportions. I'd like to be able to walk tomorrow.”

He grinned, pretending defeat. “If you change your mind, you know I'm always willing and able

  to get the job done.”

She grinned at his mock-contrite expression. “You're going to keep this going all night aren't you?”

He soaped his hands and moved them across her shoulders. “You better believe it,” he muttered

  close to her ear.

“Be prepared to work hard for it,” she warned him, teasingly. “I plan on leading you on the

  quite the chase.”

He eyed her. It was obvious he knew she enjoyed the game as much as he did. He would be able

to scent the excitement and arousal oozing out of her pores. His black eyes turned red as he said, “I'm a wolf, remember? There's nothing we enjoy better than a good chase.”

She winked at him, before replying throaty voice, “I know.” Her fingers trailed down his chest in invitation, slowly circling around each nipple. “In fact, I'm counting on it.”

Taylor woke up, stretching blissfully in the large, comfortable bed. With a smile, she opened her eyes, realizing two things immediately. The last of the numbing drugs were gone, as was Marrok. She was elated about the former, but slightly disappointed that he wasn't there. He had spoiled her to his presence. Rolling over, she discovered a single blood-red rose lying on the white surface of the pillow where his head had been.

Picking it up carefully to avoid the thorns, she brought it to her nose and inhaled its fragrance.

Marrok was romantic and loved to surprise her with small gifts like this one. She wondered where he had gotten it so early in the morning, and how soon he'd return.

The last ten days had only strengthened the bond between them. The love that she felt him was

so strong it was hard to ever imagine existing without him. Thankfully, she wouldn't have to. Fate had blessed her with this man.

Forcing herself out of bed, she made her way into the bathroom to begin her morning ablutions.

She was supposed to meet Carole Anne at the restaurant for lunch. Tonight was the full moon, and it was going to be a biggie with their extra guests.

Although Marrok wasn't officially back on guardian duty, he was actively involved with

anything to do with the research facilities. So far, they hadn't discovered any additional ones. As much as she hoped there weren't anymore, it was hard to imagine that Hell's Pit had been the only one. The pack needed him now more than ever. She didn't resent the time he had to spend working to resolve an issue that affected all of them.

Finishing up her morning preparations, she walked into the living room area. Automatically, she checked the wall clock, stunned to realize it was later than expected. She'd have to rush to meet Carole Anne on time.

Hurriedly, she made her way to the front door. A wave of dizziness washed over her, nearly

bringing her to her knees. Pressing a hand to her mouth, she swallowed hard. Nausea was churning in her stomach, almost strong enough to send her back to the bathroom.

After a moment it passed, disappearing as quickly as it had appeared. Running a hand along her forehead, she was surprised to discover it covered with sweat. She stared at it, puzzled, before shrugging it off. She'd probably picked up whatever was going around.

Viruses and colds didn't affect werewolves, so they generally weren't found in a werewolf

community. With so many visitors, though, she supposed anything was possible. Marrok made an

excellent teacher when it came to pack life. They'd spent many evenings simply talking, so she had learned a lot.

Leaving the house, she made her way to the restaurant. Carole Anne had guaranteed her they

would have a spot. She hoped so. Waiting in a long line was something she'd rather avoid today.

Several residents spoke to her as she walked along the sidewalk. News of the compromising

position they'd been caught in had spread quickly throughout the pack, but the excitement had died out just as fast. Marrok had explained why. Public sex wasn't a big deal among the wolves, but finding him having it was newsworthy to the pack.

Taylor wasn't sure if it was that, or the fact that he'd threatened to beat up anyone that

embarrassed her over it. Either way, the problem had been nipped in the bud. Nobody even cracked a grin when she walked into a room.

She walked to the door of the restaurant, feeling a bit tired and winded. It wasn't from lack of food, though. It seemed like she was increasing in size each week. Good food, combined with a mate that enjoyed her more voluptuous form, didn't make for dieting.

Mr. Davies stood at the door. He opened it as she neared, smiling widely at her in greeting.

“Good day, Taylor,” he said, cordially. “The queen is waiting for you. I'll take you to her table.”

Taylor smiled graciously as she followed him. He was always formal when it came to Carole

Anne and Alexander. The restaurant was large, but not so large she needed the escort. She'd seen Carole Anne immediately, but didn't let on. If it made the older werewolf happy to be so formal, who was she to spoil it?

Carole Anne spotted her, waving in her direction with
a huge grin. “I'm so sorry if I'm late,” she told her sheepishly, as she sat down. “I'm not sure what's wrong with me today.”

Carole Anne winked at her. “I know what's wrong with you. You have a big, strapping, male in

your bed, and he's wearing you down.” She chuckled. “Mine is welcome to wear me down anytime he feels up to the challenge... Which is often.”

Taylor blushed, but had to laugh. Carole Anne was outspoken, and it was refreshing. “I'm glad

  you understand.”

“Of course! What does my husband have your mate into today?”

Taylor shrugged. “I actually don't know. He was gone by the time I woke up.”

The waitress arrived to take their orders. She didn't hang around to chat. The restaurant was

bursting at the seams, and she looked a bit frazzled. Mr. Davies seemed to be thrilled with the extra business. It gave him a chance to visit with all his customers, renewing old acquaintances and making new ones.

Taylor rubbed at her forehead, the voices of the patrons louder than usual. It felt like a hammer was beating at her skull. She forced herself to ask, “Have the guardians discovered anything new?”

Carole Anne looked serious at her question. “A lot actually, but no new facilities. Did you know that underneath the mesa, they basically had created their very own underground interstate? There are large tunnels leading as far as Mexico and California. It's no wonder the pack there had no idea it even existed. There was really no need for anyone to enter or leave in that area, at least above ground.”

Taylor sighed. “If they did it there, they could do it anywhere.”

“I agree. A group of guardians are tapping into the satellite. There going to go over the entire globe with a fine-toothed comb in the hopes of picking up something suspicious.”

  “A satellite?”

Carole Anne shot her a sheepish grin. “I'm sorry, Taylor. I forgot that you wouldn't have known about it. A satellite is basically a type of machinery in outer space. It can detect anything on the surface of the earth. I've also been told that they can zoom in and see even the tiniest items on the ground. They are advanced enough to reveal things underneath the surface of the earth, as well.”
