War God for Hire- Adventurer: A Reincarnation, Cultivation Adventure Page 8

  “As you wish, Lord Kyle.”

He couldn’t see her face, facing the floor as she was, but he was quite sure that she was smirking.

“Hilde, I’m already struggling with the voice in the back of my head that is screaming for everything around me to kneel or die. Please, don’t make this any harder than it has to be. I have to believe that Kyle can win out.”

She sat back onto her knees and looked up at him. “I want to believe that too, but I’m afraid. I’m afraid to hope for something that is so much more than I deserve. More than any of us deserve. The gods are... No. I shouldn’t say anything more.”

“Hilde, speak up. I want to know what you were going to say. We are friends—at least I consider you a friend. I’d like you to become so much more than that, though. But you have to be willing to talk to me.”

He shook his head. “Don’t see me as some larger than life god, or monster, or whatever. Just see me as a guy, like I see you as a woman,” Kyle said. A certain note of passion came through in his words.

He watched Hilde shake her head. She was clearly still hesitant, but Kyle stood there staring at her. When she didn’t speak, he leaned over and extended his hand towards her. When she touched it with hers, he pulled her up and set her on the side of the bed.

  Finally, she answered.

“You don’t understand. For hundreds of years, I’ve been alive and known that the gods are bigger than any of us. They are the pillars of the universe. Then, as I served Krig, I both came to admire him and his force of will, while at the same time realizing that because of his narrow view—which focused almost exclusively on war—he was less than a mortal, in some ways.”

She looked at him with fear in her eyes. It cut him to the quick to see her so terrified. It was as though she half expected him to strike her down right then and there for voicing such blasphemy. As if it were his right; that he should do so.

“I have already come to the same conclusion. I have a dream, a vision really, of what might be, but I haven’t shared it with anyone… even with you.”

When she didn’t say anything, he continued. “When I first got here, I thought this was all just a dream. Then, after I got beyond that, all I could think about was how I was going to survive. But as I got to know you… as I began to realize that it was okay to talk to the voice in my head, I felt a desire I hadn’t known for a long time.”

Hilde giggled. “I know you were in the void for three years, while your new construct was forming, but it isn’t like you were aware of things. It really hadn’t been all that long since you ‘got some’. Still, I guess I should be flattered that my voice turned you on so much.”

“That isn’t what I’m talking about,” Kyle said. Then, looking at the sheer perfection of her figure, a beauty that no Earthborn human could hope to match, he stumbled over his next words. “Err… well, what I mean is… yes, you turned me on. Even now, you turn me on. You make it hard to think you are so damn hot—and I’m not talking about your fiery nature.”

He paused. “But that isn’t what I want from you. Or… it’s not all that I want; certainly not the most important part.”

She stared at him but didn’t reply.

Kyle wondered if she was just dragging this out to make it hard on him. “In the beginning, you thought I was a moron.”

Kyle shook his head when she started to protest. “No, don’t deny it. I heard it in your voice. And I thought you were this incredibly bossy voice inside my head. Maybe a sultry, sexy voice inside my head, but a bossy one, all the same. Then, you started working with me. I tried listening and learned from you.”

He shrugged. “I realized that in my previous life, I’d won everything that I could win, but at the end of the day, was still alone. I don’t want that here. What is the point of being as powerful as a god, if you are alone?”

He looked deep in her wide eyes. “So, yes, you do have something I want. I want your companionship. I want you to be with me, at my side. I’m not saying this is true love yet; that would be premature. I’m just asking you to be with me.”

He took her hand. “I’m willing to commit myself to you, but only if you will see me for the man that I am, rather than some deity to be served.”

When Kyle finished speaking, he was forced to wait in awkward silence.

He didn’t know exactly what he had hoped for as a response. Well, maybe for her to throw herself into his arms and say that she wanted to be with him, too. Certainly, he didn’t want her to just sit there and say nothing. The only consolation he took, was that the look on her face bespoke both desire and conflict.

“I do like you,” she finally said. “I didn’t think I would. I thought I might admire a new war god, like I had admired Krig. I thought I might be attracted to you, because well, I mean look at yourself, there is a lot to like. Being a god, you are quite easy on the eyes. But… but I worry that you don’t know what you are, or what you are becoming.”

She paused again before continuing. “You say love is a risk, but even life is a risk. I will be at your side as your companion. I pledged myself to you already, because I see something in you. But there is a condition.”

“What condition? I will promise to be faithful to you. You know I like Nyda and even Kierra, but I will tell them I’m with you, now. I am ready for a real relationship,” Kyle replied.

“Celestials don’t think of relationships the way most mortals do. We have playmates until we find the one that we want to be companions with. We don’t have a concept of boyfriends or girlfriends, or even marriage. I know this may seem odd to you, but we don’t live just fifty or eighty years. I am hundreds of years old and am still considered quite young. Unless we fall in battle, Celestials can live forever.”

She touched his cheek. “In general, we are drawn to the most powerful amongst our kind. They are best able to protect our offspring and thus keep our race alive. We aren’t exactly prolific breeders, like mortals with their tiny little lives, so it is important we tie ourselves only to the strongest,” Hilde said.

Kyle smiled. “That makes your pledge to me mean even more. I get it. I don’t know what the future holds, but I know I want you in it, in my life.”

“Good, but you still haven’t heard my condition. It may go against your morals or whatever, just know that even if we can’t be together in the way that you want, I will still be your faithful servant. But if you want an emotional commitment from me, then I have to know that you are trying to be all that you can be—that you aren’t still being held back by mortal precepts.”

“What does that mean?” Kyle asked.

“Exactly what I was trying to explain. With Celestials, the strongest have the most companions, because they are best suited to protect and provide. They, in turn, are made stronger by having powerful companions. Companions who, likewise, provide more power to each other. The elemental planes are not nearly as forgiving as the world of Verden,” Hilde said.

“So, you want me to find other companions?”

“I don’t mean you need to go around humping everything that moves, but I mean you should use your power and your natural appeal as another tool to build a group of faithful and powerful companions around you. That is something that Krig could never do. I won’t be romantic with you if it means you are going to cut yourself off from other sources of power… not unless you order me to, m’lord,” Hilde said.

Kyle knew she’d said it that way to drive her point home. She was right. Her people were different from humans and it even made sense, in a way.

“If I have to order you to do something, then it isn’t truly a romantic relationship.”

She smiled back at him but didn’t respond.

“I agree to your condition, if that is what it takes to make you feel comfortable with me. Not that I’m promising to start a harem, either, but I will keep an open mind. As you have said before, no one can tell what the future holds. But I refuse to be afraid of it, e
ither. I just know it will be a brighter future with you by my side,” Kyle said.

She leaned forward and pulled his hand up to her face, nuzzling her cheek against it. She sighed contentedly. “You will be so much more than Krig, m’lord.”

Kyle laughed, “Girlfriends don’t call their boyfriends, m’lord. You’re still gonna have to be punished for that.”

Hilde giggled in response and dropped his hand. “Oh, is that so? What are you gonna do, spank me?”

Her teasing tone was obvious, and it made Kyle’s pulse quicken.

“That’s not a half-bad idea,” he replied as he picked her up and pulled her to him before sitting down on the bed with her sprawled across his lap. His thick thighs provided a perfect platform for her juicy bottom and tiny waist to rest on.

He started bringing his palm down in rapid swats against her ass.

She squealed in delight, and he felt little Kyle rise to attention as he not only saw but smacked that perfect backside. He could feel her tremble against his legs as he took in the sight. Her diaphanous skirt and tiny thong did little to hide anything from him and the heat that her body always gave off was intense, but pleasant.

“You’ve been a bad girl. No more calling me, m’lord. You promised to call me Kyle.” He knew that he sounded corny, but she seemed to be eating it up.

“Only if Kyle gives me spankings, too.”

“Oh, Kyle has some things he wants to give you alright, and spankings are only the first part of it.” As he spoke, he flipped her over and tossed her onto the bed before he turned to loom over her.

He had dreamt of kissing her, not just with passion-filled lust, but with genuine affection almost every night since their tryst together in the mantle. Her lips met his, then his tongue caressed hers and she sighed into his mouth. He pushed all of his affection for her into that kiss.

It seemed to make her body melt. He willed her to know how much he cared, how much he appreciated her, how much he wanted her. He needed to be more than just a war god, but if he was the god of war then he would make reality bend around him.

In the perfect moment of that kiss, he felt Earth Essence flowing from him into her. She groaned as not just his passion, but his need for her care, attention, and even love was manifested in their kiss. Earth was durable and that was the aspect of it he had taken on, but it was also fertile and represented growth. Those were the aspects of Earth Essence that he pushed into her.

She was a creature of fire and air so as the Earth Essence flooded into her, she gasped and arched her back. Kyle began kissing her neck then, and as he felt how her body responded to his attention, he fed more essence into her. His mouth worked down to her thin top and his hands pushed it up and out of the way.

Her nipples were little red buds of fire and he could feel the sizzle in his mouth as he sucked on first one, and then the other. Kyle cupped and gently kneaded her breasts as he alternated between each one. She was still lost in the throes of passion and moaned with abandon. Kyle was sure that everyone in the building would know what was going on, but he didn’t care. Let them hear.

She ran her fingers through his hair, along his face and down his neck. Her touch made him shiver. Scrunching her head forward she whispered into his ear. “You can have me. I’m right here, just take me.”

He pulled back enough to make eye contact with her as he said, “Sweet, sweet Hilde, I’m in no rush. If I just wanted to take you, then I wouldn’t have fought so hard to get you to agree to more. You are my lover, my girlfriend, and perhaps soon, my companion. Trust me, Kyle Hudson never rushes pleasure with his girlfriends and they always fall asleep happy.”

With that, he began working his way down from her breasts, though he continued playing with her nipples between his thumbs and forefinger. The stimulation kept her on edge, as he first kissed and then blew across her toned tummy. The change in temperature was something she was particularly sensitive to.

Down and down he continued, till he came to her skirt. He took the edge of its hem in his mouth and tugged the flame-colored material past her ass and down to her knees. He hooked her thong with his thumbs and got it out of the way, too.

She wasn’t content with that, though. With a shimmy of her legs, she got the offending garments down around her ankles, and then a quick kick sent both pieces flying across the room. They poofed out of existence in midair, but Kyle hardly noticed.

His eyes were fixated on what was laid bare before him. He buried his face in her fiery bush, which didn’t burn him. Wisps of flame danced around his lips and made his skin tingle. With a groan, he parted her netherlips with his tongue and began to make love to her swollen clit. Once again, he marveled at how something that burned could be so wet.

Whatever magic had created celestials, had also made her the perfect little vixen.

Hilde’s hips were soon bucking up into Kyle’s face and she moaned, “Gods yess. Ohh moree. Pleasee don’t stopp.”

Not that she had anything to fear. Kyle was in for the long haul. Being in her would be paradise, but a close second was the thrill he got from pleasing her. His tongue lapped slowly up and down the full length of her slit. At times, he pushed the tip of it into her or suckled on her clit. The more excited she got, the higher the flames grew and the more the wispy flames on her mound danced.

Kyle was beginning to wonder if she was going to get too hot to handle, literally. Certainly, a regular human would have been badly singed by this point, but he kept at it. He could feel she was teetering on the edge and he wanted to push her over.

  Finally, she erupted.

Flame literally burst out of her. It was a liquid fire that seared the air and made his face feel alive, like one of those hot towels the massage therapists used, but so much more intense.

“Pleasee don’tt stopp. Godd im cummingg. Moreee. Moree. I wantt to cumm all overr your face. Ohhh Kylee, please don’t stopp.”

Her ankles locked behind his head and she ground her hips up into him. She moaned and pleaded, while her nails threatened to dig into his scalp, all to keep him from pulling back. For his part, Kyle just basked in her release.

Her passion had him on edge.

When she shuddered one last time and collapsed back in blissful exhaustion, Kyle slid his hands under her ass, and pushed up until his body loomed over hers. Her wings were spread out and extended beyond the sides of the bed. He was glad they weren’t in the tiny cell, back at the arena. This room at least had enough space for her to stretch out.

With her legs parted and her ass in his hands, Kyle plunged into her. She was even tighter than before, no doubt the result of her orgasm, but her fiery wetness was so warm and enticing that he couldn’t hold back. He buried himself fully in her.

Each thrust elicited delightful sounds from her, as she squealed, “Ohh”, “fffuck”, or simply a high pitched, “ahhhh.”

He had intended to draw things out, but her body needed this as much as his did. He pistoned into her, thrusting with vigor.

She moaned, “I’m not a mortal. I’m tougher than I look. Give it to me.”

Each of his thrusts was met by her hips pushing back up into him. He groaned as her pussy swallowed his cock and he felt her body totally open up to him. She began to tremble with yet another orgasm as he felt himself nearing the mountaintop. He didn’t hold back. It would be so much better if he came just as she did.

And there it was. An explosion in both their bodies. He felt her spasm around him as he erupted deep inside her. His desire for her, body and soul rushed out of him and into her. The stream of Earth Essence he had pushed into her earlier became a rushing river and her moans increased tenfold.

As rope after rope of cum flooded her little pussy, Kyle felt a satisfaction he had never known before and he rolled over onto his back next to her before a wave of exhaustion claimed him. He worried for a minute, that he might hurt her wing, but it curled up around him and she rolled her body into his, swinging her
other wing over them so that they were wrapped in a cocoon of flaming wings.

She sighed and kissed his chest before starting to speak. “Did you mean to…”

She stopped and studied his face. She pushed forward until her head was up by his and kissed him all over his face, on his nose, his cheeks, his chin, and finally, on his mouth.

“Is something wrong, lover?” Kyle asked when she let him breathe again.

She squinted her nose, and her eyebrows came together. It was a cute expression, but he didn’t know what it meant. For most of the time he had known her, she had only been a voice inside his head.

“Nothing is wrong; everything is perfect. It will all sort itself out.”

They fell asleep in one another’s arms. It was the deep sleep of contentment. The type of contentment that comes with making the deepest of connections.
