She spins around and rests her head on my collarbone. “I love you. I need to have a shower and get to work.”
I nibble on her ear. “Okay, go and get ready then.”
She closes her eyes. “I can’t even think when you’re doing that.”
“Do what?” I whisper. “This?”
I trail kisses down her neck, my hands wandering over her body. “How much time do we have?”
She sighs in pleasure. “Ten minutes.”
“I’ll have to make those ten minutes count then,” I tell her, lifting her in the air and throwing her on the bed.
Her laugh makes me smile, as does the inviting expression on her face. She glances at me through her lashes. “What exactly do you have in mind?”
“Well,” I say. “I haven’t had breakfast yet.”
Her cheeks color. “Is that right?”
I grin. “Maybe you will let me have a little… taste?”
She spread her legs wide, her hands landing on her breasts, rubbing over the nipples.
“Please,” she begs as I kneel before her, running my hands up her toned thighs.
“Please what?” I ask, staring at her pretty pussy.
“Please do something!” she says with urgency. “Put your mouth on me.”
I do as I’m told.
And I love every minute of it.
I couldn’t possibly love her any more than I do.
And I can’t wait to make her my wife.
Epilogue
Tenielle
I pace the hallway, back and forth, wringing my hands together.
I am getting married today.
Veil covering my hair and dressed in my gown, I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life.
Then why do I feel so nervous?
“Why are you pacing?” Lexi asks, coming to stand next to me. She grabs onto my wrist and pulls me to a standstill.
“I don’t know,” I tell her. “I feel so restless.”
She studies my face. “He loves you so much, you know that? Everyone can see it. Ryder was saying yesterday how he couldn’t have asked for a better man for you.”
I puff out a breath and absorb her words. “I know. He’s so good to me.”
“I know you’ve been a bit of a commitment phobe since I’ve met you,” Lexi says with a grin. “But with Saxon you’re completely different. He is the exception to your rule.”
I never thought of it that way, but she’s right.
He is the exception to my rule.
All my rules.
We hear a light knock on the door, and Lexi goes to answer it. “You can’t be here!”
“I know, I just wanted to see her for a second,” Saxon says.
“Well, you can’t,” Lexi replies, trying to close the door.
Saxon quickly puts his hand through. “Tee?”
I walk to the door, smirking at the sight of Saxon’s arm reaching through.
“You can’t see me, it breaks tradition,” I insist. I really want that wow moment when I walk down the aisle. I want his jaw to drop open.
“I won’t look,” he says. “My eyes are closed, just give me your hand.”
I hold his hand, and he instantly starts rubbing his thumb over my knuckles in a comforting way.
“I just wanted to say that I love you, and I will always love you. I will never do wrong by you, and you will never want for nothing, be it love, affection, or security. You’re making me the happiest man in the world today, and there is nothing I wouldn’t do to make you happy.”
I swallow. It’s almost like he sensed that I needed him.
“I love you too,” I say softly, trying to stop my eyes from watering. I really don’t want to ruin my makeup right now. “Saxon.”
“Yes, beautiful?”
“I’m pregnant.”
Silence, then cheering.
I close the door and laugh as he continues to yell out in happiness. I used to tell myself I didn’t want children, but that was before Saxon.
I’d never admit that to him though.
I lean back against the door and look over at Lexi’s shocked face and smile.
