Make Me Yours: Boxed Set Page 12

The people around them clapped their hands. Emily ignored them. This was their moment, and nothing was going to spoil it.

Later that night Jason sat waiting in the same room where he’d bought Emily for the weekend. At the time he’d thought it was a big mistake. Emily had walked away from him once, and he’d thought she’d walk away from him again. Seeing the way she’d reacted to that woman gave him hope for a future together.

Several of the regulars were in residence to witness his collaring of Emily. The ceremony had been organized in a rush. After Emily wore his collar and agreed to serve him for the rest of her life, he intended to take her back to their room and make love to her for the rest of the night. Tomorrow morning, they were scheduled to go home.

“Are you sure about this?” Charles asked.

“I’ve never been surer of anything else in my life. She’s the one. You know what it’s like to have the one in your grasp.”

His friend nodded. “I wish you’d given me time to organize a better event. It’s not every day one of the best Doms takes a sub.”

Jason shrugged. He stood in the center of the stage waiting for his woman. Emily hated being the center of attention. For tonight, she’d be the center of everything.

Charles spoke to the room, talking about Jason and then Emily. Jason’s woman came out onto the stage and knelt at his feet. Jason saw her hands were shaking with nerves. He reached out and stroked her hair. She kept her head bowed as Charles continued on with the ceremony. The words filled the room and his heart. In one short weekend Emily had made him so proud. She continued to fight the demons that plagued her, pushing aside all of her doubts to allow true love to shine through.

He held the purple velvet collar in his hand and waited for the time to place it around her delicate neck.

She looked magnificent in the silk negligee he’d given her. Emily wouldn’t have been able to handle being exposed to a roomful of people. She would be his main priority, and her comfort meant more to him than the room seeing her naked. In plenty of the collaring ceremonies the Dom requested for the sub to be naked. Jason didn’t need for more men to see Emily naked. Her nakedness was for his eyes only.

The words were spoken, binding her to him. James placed the collar around her neck, claiming Emily as his own. She stood and wrapped her arms around his neck.

The audience applauded as they stared out.

  “You’re mine now, baby.”

“I never wanted to be anyone else’s.” She smiled up at him. The purple contrasted with her pale skin. He cupped her cheek and kissed her lips loving the feel of her plump flesh beneath his.

  “You’re perfect.”

They mingled with the crowd for several moments before he took her back to their room. He stopped off at the beach, and together they looked up at the moon.

“I never thought this weekend would be so perfect,” she said.

“It’s certainly a weekend to remember.”

Emily chuckled. The sound vibrated through his body. He could listen to her chuckle for hours.

“Now that you have your collar around me and an engagement ring on my finger, what are you going to do with me?” she asked.

His answer was to lean down and kiss her deeply. “You were always mine. Now you just know who you belong to.”

He walked up to his room. The million dollars he’d spent buying her had been worth it. If he’d known his weekend would end up with the woman he loved wearing his collar and the engagement ring he’d bought her, he’d have given up all of his fortune to claim her.

Emily, from that day forward, would be forever known as the sub sold to the highest bidder.
