She knew now that they’d piggybacked with Benjamin to the hotel and killed him. What if Spook managed to piggyback out of his domain again? Would he come after her? Try to kill her even?
Her hope was, without Corrie feeding them any more energy, that the haunting would die out.
She’d just heard that the farm was up for sale. After it was sold, she could do some investigating and see if the new owners were still being haunted. If they weren’t being haunted, she knew she had nothing to fear. However, if the ghosts were still there, knocking on doors and whispering threats, she’d have to act fast.
She decided that was something she and Frank would have to face when they came to it. If she spent every day worrying about the dangers of the supernatural, she’d have no life.
