108Destiny: “My father is not a hack.”
Monst3rm4st3r: “Your father? :o Your Charlotte Luminare?”
Bride*Of*Chuix: “Foot enter mouth.”
Monst3rm4st3r: “Sorry did not mean to offend you but that's what I believe.”
108Destiny: “That's fine but your wrong.”
Chris types brb and then walks over to Charlotte who is now sitting next to her computer and chatting with Sam privately while being in the chat room “I have listened to some of your music after Chris told me about it, your pretty good.”
Ebony STAR: “Thanks, I owe it to Chris and his friends, I had a blank period that I only recovered from thanks to them.”
“Hey Charlotte.” Chris says softly not to frighten her.
Charlotte looks up, “Oh hey.”
“You know to be careful right? Only Jason knows the truth.”
Charlotte rolls her eyes, “I was there when your father told you not to tell your friends what's really happening. Yes I know and I know we are in Florida.”
“You and Sam seem to be hitting it off.”
“Yeah she's a nice person, though why you didn’t tell her what's really happening?”
Chris closes his eyes and shakes his head, “I feel bad for her. I'm not using her, it's just it's better if she does not know the truth about Tarque. Hell I'm still confused about that. Anyway I don't want my friends to be targets.”
Charlotte nods her head, “I understand.”
Chris returns to his computer and the chat room continues for about a half an hour. They are mainly talking about the Sharp Show with some teenage poking around on the side, after all they are kids. No one asked about the Florida situation. Chris expected them to ask questions or to want pictures, the later of which they will have as that sort of thing is easy to fake, but no one did. Ric closed the Chat room at 9:00 PM since his sister wanted to use the computer, his mother is forcing him to share. Jason starts talking to Chris by himself.
“The Florida thing is bull crap right?”
“Huh” Chris should have known nothing gets past Jason. “No it's real Jason.”
“Is it?”
“YES” Chris hopes that if he types in all caps Jason will stop pressing the issue.
There is a short break between Jason's responses, “Okay I understand. Well tell me what is really going on when you can.”
“You will be the first to know.” Jason and Chris then talk for a while about various things, mainly them just catching up. “Hey is something going on between Ric and Alison? I mean they act like a married couple now.”
“Yeah they are going out, it was Sam's idea. She had me go on a double date with them to see if they would hit it off.”
“So?”
“They seem made for each other Chris. Well what about you and Charlotte?”
Chris blushes he does not know how he feels about Charlotte. She is a very nice person and she is definitely his friend but he never thought of her in that way. As a girl friend. “There is nothing there. That I know of anyway. She's just a friend.”
“I got you, but you know I have seen pictures of her, she is very hot.”
Chris has to look around and see where Charlotte is at this time, she has joined Cole playing a game of Halo, “I have to go. I really don't feel conferrable talking about this.” Chris logs out and turns off his computer.
