Vintage (Adrenaline Series Book 2) Page 9

by Xavier Neal

Shutting my eyes as I fall apart I cry out, “Merrick...” I call it out again and again as the water continues crashing our bodies like it's trying to weld us together.

“God Jovi,” he groans in return, lips dragging themselves up and down the side of my throat. When my arms fly around his neck, I yank him into me harshly, so frenzied with need to come again I feel like I'm suffering from an ache that will be soothed.

In tune with the urgency, Merrick uses both hands to hold my legs as he pushes fervidly, deeper and deeper, his cock brushing repeatedly against my clit. My moans turn to whimpers quickly. I attempt to meet some of the thrusts, which only spurs him to thrust faster now as anxious to engulf me as I am him.

My muscles tense seconds from coming again, which is when he demands, “Say my name again, Jovi.”

  Quietly I sigh, “Merrick...”

To my surprise he commands, “Louder baby. Louder.”

The combination of the stern request and final pushes, sucks another orgasm out of me. In a raspy voice that I don't even recognize I give him what he begged for. “Merrick! Merrick!”

“Oh fuck,” he bellows before filling me up with his own scalding hot orgasm that would burn my insides if my own juices weren't just as steaming. Exhausted my body slumps against his.

Good thing too. Don't wanna drown right after sex. Though....I'll admit. It would be a happy death.

Kisses start feathering themselves across my skin in such a quixotic way, if I ever had a seed of doubt this was only about sex, it would be buried in concrete now. His hand softly strokes my skin as he sighs, “I love you, Jovi.”

I hum, “I love you too.”

Merrick's arms pull me away from the edge and circle themselves around me, holding me against him. Locking us in this moment. In this perfect moment of post orgasmic peace.

There's no way life gets any better than this. No way in hell.

  Merrick

Between bites of pizza, I chuckle at Vinnie who is sitting between his two girlfriends that are making fun of him at their dining room table.

He playfully jokes at Krissy. “Where is the love in this relationship?”

“It's not in my slice of pizza,” she giggles before pushing him away. “Ask Shelby.”

With a wide smirk he wraps his arm around Krissy's chair and turns to Shelby. “Shel-”

“No you pizza hog,” she denies him now giggling herself. “You had plenty of pizza.”

  “Damn it,” Vinnie gripes.

“How long have you been together?” Jovi asks from beside me, wiggling her legs that are draped in my lap.

“About 4 years,” Krissy answers. “But we've known Vinnie since...we were like 11?”

“He stepped in an ant pile during my 12th birthday party. Had to be rushed to the hospital.” Shelby recalls nibbling on her pizza. “Oh! Remember at McDougal's party when we were 15 and how he had that allergic reaction to whatever it was in the cake.”

  Krissy starts laughing harder. “Yes!”

I simply smile and finish the crust of my pizza, keeping an eye on Jovi.

It's not like I think she's going to run away or anything, I just know that all this... all this is something new to her. Not just the racing and the parties, but realizing that all relationships don't have to function one particular way. Her reactions have been interesting and a bit surprising along the way. Can't blame her though. I guess I've just lived around it for so long I'm numb to it.

“Sure. Sure.” Vinnie shrugs. “Focus on the times I look like an idiot, but not how I organized a poker game to earn enough cash for you to have a prom dress to go with the senior dick when we were freshman.”

Shelby puts her piece down. “I remember...”

“Or how I used the winnings from my first organized illegal fight to help you go on that choir trip you wanted,” he says to Krissy.

She smiles at him. “I remember too.”

“So you were all friends first?” Jovi licks the pizza sauce from her fingers completely missing the drop on her nose.

She looks like a sexy pizza clown. I wanna honk more than her nose...

“Best friends,” Shelby answers. “There's nothing I wouldn't do for them.”

  “Ditto,” Krissy agrees.

“Can't help who you fall in love with, right?” I join the conversation while wiping the dot off her nose. She snickers at me before kissing me in thanks. Stealing the crust of her pizza I ask Vinnie, “So where did you send the neighbors today?”

“That fucking water park that just opened out in Blue Creek.”

“Aren't the tickets for that thing sold out until October?” Vinnie gives me a sarcastic look. Immediately I laugh and surrender my hands. “Forget I said anything.”

Confused Jovi asks, “You sent your neighbors away? All of them? Why? ”

“Just the ones right next door,” Vinnie answers. “It's a woman and her son. Send them away when I do things like pool parties. Use their driveway for parking. Plus I don't like worrying about her kid seeing any of the 'bad' things.”

“Bad as in the nearly topless chicks?”

“As in the drugs that get sold or the money that gets exchanged.”

She probably didn't notice any of it either. He's that slick about that shit.

“The neighbors on the other side you met. Scott and Cory. They keep the peace as long as they get invited.”

“What about the other houses?” Jovi ponders. “They don't complain about the noise?”

“They do. But I've got cops who handle that. I pay a few who are on duty not to come by or to lose the noise violation complaints all together.”

“So you can just buy off anybody?”

He chuckles with a nod. “Almost...”

Vinnie really can. The Devil has a wider reach and hands in higher pockets, but Vinnie has his own network to help keep his hands clean and our world smoothly running. In the beginning I swear he did it all to try to get chicks, but as time has passed, I'm not really sure why he does this shit any more. Not sure why I do either. Madden wants me to stop. Jovi would love it if I did. I just...I just have to figure out exactly how to get out without losing my life. And I don't mean that in some metaphorical way. I mean without physically having to die over it.

“Oh my God,” Krissy shrieks dropping her napkin. “You know what we should do? We should pop some popcorn and watch 80s movies!”

  “Yes!” Shelby agrees.

“You two don't wanna go to Olympus tonight?” Vinnie questions pulling his phone out of his pocket.

Quickly I ask, “I thought you were laying low?”

“I am.” He winks and Jovi fidgets in her chair. “But...if my girls wanna go I'd take 'em. Just hang out on the upper levels. Business is closed tonight. Word spread.” After I nod he says, “If you two want a night in, that's what we'll do.” Eagerly they nod and he looks at Jovi. “You wanna hang out for a little while? Watch a couple movies?”

Jovi turns her face to me. She's smiling brightly and I can't help but return the action. “Is that...is that cool? Can we do that?”

“We can do whatever you want, baby,” I reply hands still stroking her legs.

A slight look of concern comes on her face. “You sure?”

  “I'm sure.”

Sweetly she jokes, “Just checking. Movies and popcorn feels a little too normal for you. Doesn't require possibly running from Johnny Law.”

The table laughs and I shake my head. “Sassy.”

  “Mouthy.”

We give each other a playful glare followed by light laughs. The five of us help restore the kitchen to it's original non after party condition. Once we're all cleaned up, we locate to the upstairs living room where his large flat screen is mounted on the wall. The room has a kick ass surround sound system, a leather couch, leather love seat with a foot stool, and a leather recliner. It also happens to have a mini bar area with a fridge, liquor, microwave, and blender.

Jovi and I claim the couch, her
head in my lap, my hand finding various homes across her gorgeous freshly tanned skin that's now in a pair of loose cheer shorts and a tank top.

I swear it's like having the perfect painted canvas waiting for a frame every time I see her in a different outfit.

For the next few hours we watch movies together, toss popcorn around, and have dumb debates about the fact all movies don't need remakes.

They don't! Don't do that. Don't be one of those people. There's nothing wrong with leaving classics alone.

The vibe and the atmosphere stays light and playful. Kicked back. Relaxed. To my surprise something inside of me suddenly feels like this is what has been missing from my life. Just a little bit of normality. Simplicity.

I look down at Jovi to see her attention isn't on the T.V. so much as where Vinnie is lounging with his girlfriends. Turning my own attention there, I happen to see Shelby with her head lying on Vinnie's chest while one of his hands is folded with Krissy's, who is behind Shelby snuggled in close. Her leg is stroking Krissy's while her lips seem to be busying themselves in her neck. Vinnie seems to be oblivious to what's happening with the way his attention is still on the movie. When I look back down at Jovi I notice her legs flexing.

Is she...is she turned on watching two girls like that? Ladies, you do know there's nothing wrong with getting a little excited by girl on girl action right? Yup. That is such a dude thing to say. Doesn't make it not true.

Suddenly there's soft moaning and my eyes look over once more to see Vinnie now a part of the activities by the way he's subtly stroking Krissy's leg as Shelby stays sandwiched between them.

There's a few whispers before Vinnie announces, “The girls and I are heading to bed. You crashin' here?”

My hand lands on Jovi's hip eliciting a soft whimper out of her.

Looks like we're all heading to bed.

  “That cool?”

“Yeah.” He stands helping them to their feet. “Your room's clean.”

  “Thanks man.”

Krissy and Shelby wrap themselves around Vinnie. Sweetly they coo, “Night guys.”

“Night,” we call back in unison.

The three of them head down the hall to the right leaving us alone. As soon as I hear the bedroom close I ask, “You wanna go crash too?”

With a mischievous grin on her face, she rolls over and look up at me. “Something like that.”

Curious I ask, “Did that turn you on? Watching the girls together?”

Sheepishly she nods. “Is that bad?”

  “Do you feel bad?”

  “No.”

  “Then no...”

  “Isn't that...weird?”

Stroking her cheek I remind her. “Baby even if it is, who fucking cares? If it makes you happy that's what matters. If it feels good to you that's what's important.” My free hand grazes the inside of her thighs that part perfectly. I let a finger slide briefly under her shorts, surprised by the soaking wet surprise. With a smirk I sigh, “It really turned you on...” She shrugs but I sink a finger inside of her. After listening to her long sigh of pleasure I ask, “Was it watching them or the idea of sharing?”

Jovi shakes her head quickly. “I don't ever wanna share.”

“That makes two of us,” I whisper adding another finger. “Now...enjoy the ride baby.”

She moans softly as I increase the pressure and speed. Excited her muscles respond by trying to suck my fingers in further, to hit the point of no return.

Who am I to deny a pussy that's asking so politely?

I piston my fingers faster, toying with her clit, doing my best to drag her to the edge before pushing back away from it. Jovi's hips grind into my touch as her groans become needy and intense. Biting my bottom lip I focus on capturing every wither I want repeated on my dick.

The moment I feel her body shifting for what's becoming one of my favorites things in life, I push deeper, wanting the vibrations from her orgasm to roll through me.

  “Coming...” She breathlessly declares.

Unsure if there's ever been a more beautiful sight than the girl I love falling apart from the tips of my fingers, I feel my chest swell as much as my dick.

There's nothing I wouldn't do to be with this girl forever. And that's what I want. Her. Forever.

Resting back against the couch cushion next to Ben's leg, I turn the page in the book I checked out from the library.

Yeah...from where Jovi works. I was looking at it to pass the time and ended up really enjoying it. It's a history book.

Intrigued I say out loud, “Did you know Picasso's first word was pencil?”

“My first word was tit,” Ben laughs leaning forward as he keeps playing some shooting game on the Xbox.

“It was not,” Knoxie sighs disgusted. Flopping down on the other couch she corrects. “It was cat.”

“Pussy. See. Picasso was meant to be king of drawing-”

  “Painting”

“And I was meant to be king of pussies.”

That's not coming out the way he's intending.

“Yes,” Knox quickly agrees. “You are King Pussy.”

Ben keeps smiling and nodding until it sets in what he actually said. “Damn it, Knox, fuck you. You know what I meant!”

“Did I?” She sarcastically replies pulling off her stained t-shirt so she's just in her sports bra.

Returning to the book, I nudge my sketchbook over towards me, dropping the book in the corner of it. With a small chuckle I say, “Turns out I'm following the footsteps of the greats. Picasso was also a playboy.”

“Did he too give it all up for the PC's only daughter?” Ben mocks.

I pick my pencil back up. “Jealous?”

“That you're falling into the same pussy day in and day out? Absolutely not.” He mashes a few buttons faster. “I actually think you're crazy. And not the good kind of crazy like Knox. But the bad kind of crazy like Hannibal.”

Does his logic make sense to you? If so...by all means please explain it to me.

Even more baffled than me, Knox scoffs, “Did you just infer your cousin is most likely to become a serial killer for falling in love?”

“Yes. Love turns people into serial killers.”

“That's...wow...” Is all she can whisper out.

“I don't think that's what was wrong with him.” I correct looking up briefly. “Two brain eaters on your left.”

“Fuck!” He shouts at the screen quickly shooting them. “Good looking out cuz.”

Smirking to myself I start another attempt at capturing the essence that is Jovi on a piece of a paper.

  Not possible.

Curious Knox asks, “Are you trying to draw your girl again? You've drawn her a million different ways. I honestly don't get it. The other's looked good, why are you still at it?”

“Because I don't want good,” I grumble. Starting with her face like I always do, I continue, “I don't want great. I want...something vintage.”

  “Vintage? You sound like Madden...”

“Maybe.” I curl a crooked smile and look up at her. “I want something that when you see it you're reminded of all the most amazing things about her. Something that displays all the perfection about her. Something that 50 years from now you will look back and realize....they just don't make them like her anymore. That she's....the essence of incredible no matter the decade.”

Knox looks like she might swoon, which is when Ben states loudly, “Serial. Killer.”

Our laughter is short lived courtesy of the slammed front door.

“Oh look,” Knox mutters. “The Fun Killer's home.”

I snicker and Madden's voice booms through the room. “You're in so much fucking shit!”

Don't look at me. I'm just dating Jovi. Haven't even raced a car since she offered herself as a prize. I think she may have broken racing for me....Maybe I'll get it back. Do I even want it back?

Knox sighs, “Hey, Giant of the Bean Stalk, could you please tell us who
your rage is directed at. It's not exactly clear.”
