Him in His inner man and made Him strong again in His heart of hearts. “Be strong and of good courage, do not tremble or be dismayed for the Lord your God and Father is with you.” I reminding him that His God and Father would give Him every place that the sole of His foot shall tread upon. Then Jesus returned to Galilee in the power and might of the Holy Spirit. He healed and delivered all those who were bound by the devil. The Holy Spirit had anointed Jesus of Nazareth by resting heavily upon Him and remained upon Him. Jesus had great power to perform miracles and heal all those who were sick because God the Holy Spirit had empowered Him and was with Him.
Jesus gathers His disciples.
I Gabriel, the Archangel of the Lord watched as the Son of Man hand pick his disciples to be his followers. As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers; Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake as they were fisherman by trade. Jesus breathed out and said, “Come and follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed him. Jesus chose men who were willing and obedient irrespective if they were educated or not. Going on from there Jesus saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them like he had Simon Peter and Andrew. Immediately they abandoned their nets, left their father and their boat and followed him.
We angels know how much the Lord God loves worship and sacrifice. It cost those men to abandon everything and simply follow a stranger whom they had never met. They followed their heart of hearts when they heard God’s call and not their heads. However they had no idea where they were going to sleep or how they were going to get food to eat. It was a giant step of faith for them to simply follow the inner voice of their hearts. Now that’s what I call worship and sacrifice.
We angels know that sacrifice is not sacrifice if it doesn’t cost you something. It cost these men their livelihoods and separation from their families to follow Jesus and become His disciples. Jesus went throughout Galilee teaching and preaching in their synagogues the gospel of the kingdom of heaven. He healed every disease and sickness among the people. News about him spread throughout the land. The people brought to him all those who were sick and ill with various diseases, those suffering with severe pain, the demon possessed, those having seizures and the paralysed. Jesus of Nazareth healed them all. Large crowds from Galilee, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan all followed after him.
When Jesus saw the crowds of people he went up on a mountainside and sat down. Michael and I, His Archangels sat silently next to Him out of their human eyesight. Jesus began to teach His disciples saying, “Blessed are the humble in spirit for they shall posses the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled with righteousness. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad for great is your reward in heaven. Do not render evil for evil or insult for insult. But rather bless them that curse you. Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone wants to sue you for your coat, then let him have your cloak also.”
The words that He spoke were spiritually energizing and words of life. Jesus only did what He saw His Father in heaven doing. He only spoke what he heard His Father in heaven speaking. Jesus then taught his disciples how to pray. “This is how you should pray. Our Father who is in heaven, holy pure, clean and sanctified is your name. Your kingdom and will come and be done on the earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory is yours forever and ever. Amen.”
Jesus not only taught them how to pray practically but he also taught them about the attitude that they should pray with. It was memorizing. Every word that was proceeding out of the mouth of God, I had to record every single one in the eternal books of heaven. His words were refreshing and encouraging, “When you pray,” said Jesus, “Do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father in heaven who is unseen. Then your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you openly.” We angels understood that the words that He spoke were God breathed words and they were words of eternal life.
The Miracles. #22
“Come out off him,” shouted Jesus in a loud voice. I, Gabriel the Lords holy messenger had just finished recording the words of the Lord Jesus Christ in the new eternal books of heaven. I called them the New Covenant, New Testament books. I quickly looked out of the open window of heaven that remained open above the head of Jesus. He had direct access to his Father in heaven and we had direct access to support him through the gate of heaven.
The demons trembled when they heard the sound of Jesus’ voice. They had taken control of the man from Gadara and violently threw him onto the hard rocky ground. They compelled the man to cut himself with sharp stones until he was mutilated and began to bleed.
The man from Gadara started swallowing his tongue as the many demons tried to choke and strangle him, driving the breath out of him. Foam started coming out of his mouth and his eyes rolled back in their sockets. He began to tear his clothes off and started rolling in the dust. That’s what that ancient dragon, Satan does when he possesses the heart of a man or a woman. If you allow him to come and rule in your heart, he will eventually possess and control you. He will bring his fallen demonic angelic stars with him and he will wreak havoc in your heart and life. We angels know that Satan has one single purpose, he has come to rob, to kill and to destroy but the Lord Jesus has come that you might have life and life more abundantly.
“Do not torment us any longer you Son of the most High God!” cried the demons possessing the man from Gadara. “if you cast us out, then send us into the pigs!” “Be quiet,” commanded Jesus, “Come out of him and go into the pigs.”
The demons left and came out of him immediately. They straight away ran and went into the pigs on the hillside. The pigs gave a loud squeal as the demons viciously entered them. The pigs now possessed by the demons ran over the edge of the cliff and drowned themselves in the sea. The man from Gadara got up off the ground and stood to his feet. He was half naked as his garments had been reduced to dusty rags. He wiped his mouth and wrapped his remaining torn clothes around his body.
There was a sparkle in his eyes and his face had changed in appearance. He had been filled with the peace of God and became calm in his spirit. He had once again become normal in the spirit of his mind. He could remember his name and the house in the village where he stayed. He fell in gratitude at Jesus’ feet and began to worship him with all his might. He had been set free from the power of that ancient dragon, the devil. He was no longer under the control of Satan and his rule. He had been set free and we angels know that those whom Christ sets free are free indeed.
“You will never be tormented by those demons again,” said Jesus unto him, “Now go and wash yourself. Put on some clean clothes and go and tell the people in your village that I have set you free.” The man from Gadara left the dark cold cave where he was staying. He went and did exactly what Jesus had told him to do. News of Jesus spread throughout the entire land. The people questioned and asked, “Who is this man Jesus, that even the devils fear his name?” The Holy Spirit had given Jesus of Nazareth power to cast out devils and heal all those who were bound by demons. Jesus proved that he was who he said he was when he said, “I will heal the broken hearted and set th
e captives free.”
Jesus withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of his whereabouts the crowds followed him on foot from the towns and villages. When Jesus landed and saw the large crowds he had deep feelings of compassion on them and healed all the sick. It was late and as evening approached and the disciples of Jesus came to him and said, “This is a remote place and it is getting late. Send the large crowds away so that they may go into the villages and buy some food to eat.” Jesus calmly replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
Jesus of Nazareth had chosen followers with great big hearts but not followers with great big faith. We angels had noticed that their hearts were big but that their faith was little. I, Michael the Archangel of War had seen little men with great faith in my lifetime and I had seen big men with little faith. However it only takes a little bit of faith to produce a big miracle. If only the disciples had understood that a tiny little bit of faith the size of a tiny
