Afterword
Let me start by saying a huge thank you for making it through to the end. It means so much to me that you found this book worth your time, and that’s the kind of thing that keeps me writing.
Some of you are new to my work, but those who aren’t will have recognized this story. Clean Kill was originally published as Keeping with Killers back in 2015 and was set in London rather than Los Angeles. Some of the other changes to this title have been subtle, while some serious components to the story have been completely realigned. You’re probably asking yourself why such significant events have been altered, and the answer is this: it’s what the market demands.
If you’re on my mailing list, you’ll know that I’m currently going through a major relaunch for some of my older books. Some are getting new titles, and all of them are having their covers and blurbs redone. Furthermore, they’re all being translated to US English (as opposed to the original UK English). This is because more of my readership comes from the United States, and in the interest of keeping a roof over my head, I need to cater to the good folks of America.
So, what’s next? Well, the Blake Salinger books are more or less complete and being retitled as Bloodline (this is the first installment). Then, of course, comes Mason Black with his trilogy of gritty detective thrillers. After that, I’ll be working on brand-new stories of mystery and suspense, which I simply can’t wait to get to you. My head is buzzing with ideas, and I’ve never been so excited to get them down on paper.
If you’re still with me, let me thank you again for taking the time to read this book. I sincerely hope you found the stories worth your time, and perhaps even subscribe to my mailing list or like my Facebook page to keep in touch. I’m always eager to talk with fans.
After all, you’re who I write for.
My best,
Adam Nicholls
About the Author
Adam Nicholls has been creating stories since before he could legally drink. Inspired by the works of Stephen King, Karin Slaughter and Gillian Flynn, Adam starts writing each new book by asking himself how best to shock his readers.
In his non-writing life, Adam is a bibliophile and avid collector of anything made from paper (utility bills included). He loves hot showers, good wine and the sound of rain hitting the window. Whenever possible, he likes to get out and see the world, visiting one European city at a time in search of inspiration for his next great novel.
