“It was Valient Sword. He was honest and true to his word. I feel that Valient Himself sent the messenger from whatever he was doing before he was sent. One more thing, Captain Horde, Valient has a true name. The Dragonlings call Him by His true name. His true is Yahweh,” replied Xanatos, as Captain Horde looked even more confused by Xanatos' new discovery.
“Who told you this information, the Dragonling princess you have as a First Mate?” Horde boldly stated.
“How did you know that she was the Dragonling Princess?” asked Xanatos.
“Word is that her father has reward for her to be brought back to Dragonia to be imprisoned for her crimes of piracy and treason against the crown,” Horde reported to Xanatos.
“I do not have anything to do with my father or the crown. I want my people to be free from the WLE and have peaceful relations with the planets surrounding Dragonia,” Kingsley boldly stated in her defense.
“Well, Xanatos, I see you chose your First Mate wisely. I hope the two of you serve the cause with an iron grip. I will see you at the rendezvous,” replied Horde as he cut communications.
“What did he mean by 'wisely,' Captain? Doesn't he trust Dragonlings, or is it me he doesn't like?” Kingsley asked with a little spitefulness in her voice.
“He does not trust you, Karen. He doesn't know you like I do. He will get know you, as reliable officer and a trustworthy person,” Xanatos replied kindly.
“Thank you, Sir,” said Kingsley, as she bowed in respect.
“I know my uncle will warm up to you. You just need to give him time,” Xanatos stated with confidence in Kingsley's abilities.
29 - In orbit of Argon, aboard the War Shadow
War Master Malsvir was furious with Corvet`e and Malsvir. He was shooting them both with pure red biokinetic energy from his hands. He was more furious with Corvet'e than Lord Malsvir. Master Malsvir wanted them to feel his rage.
“We are the War Lord Empire. We never retreat, and we don't have offspring that becomes Pirate Rebel scum like, Xanatos. That boy of yours will destroy us all and bring real peace and justice to the universe. Mark my words, Lord Corvet`e your son, Xanatos will unite the universe and bring the War Lord Empire with it. Malsvir, you are never to retreat or create traps without consulting Corvet`e or myself. You are still new to your post as War Lord, you need a little push in the right direction for decisions in the future. We had the Grand Admiral of the PRA, if she dies, I fear that the new adversary will be more cunning than our last one. Corvet`e, see to it that your War Spy will defeat the Pirate Rebels from the inside, or that she somehow becomes next in line for the Grand Admiral's position,” Master Malsvir continued to shoot them with biokinetic energy. Master Malsvir finished punishing the two War Lords. Corvet`e was the first to reply to the War Master's requests.
“Yes, Master Malsvir. I will inform War Spy 313 to give her all, so she can be promoted quickly,” Corvet'e painfully said, as he limped out of the War Master's cabin.
“As for you Malsvir, I need you to go to the Main Bridge of the Shadow Warrior and take command of a small fleet to concur the planet of Bowdoia and Corvet'e will command the War Dragon and a larger fleet to attack and re-concur the planet of Layardia to crush the rebel forces on that planet,” ordered Master Malsvir, as Lord Malsvir looked at the War Master with curiosity.
“Master, shouldn't I be the one in command of the retaking of the Talyardians homeworld, not Lord Corvet`e?” asked Lord Malsvir.
“Those are my orders, Malsvir. We must restore our order to the Cetacean Sector forever,” Master Malsvir ordered. Lord Malsvir bowed to the War Master and left the chambers with Master Malsvir alone with his thoughts. “I know you're there, I can sense your thoughts in my chambers. Show yourself, coward,” demanded Master Malsvir.
“Yes, Master. I will do as you command. I hope that Corvet`e will do the same. He has been uneasy to work with and he doesn't follow protocol in most matters,” stated Lord Malsvir, as he left the War Master's chambers.
Master Malsvir waited until Lord Malsvir left the room. Master Malsvir opened a channel to Grand Admiral George Horde of Argon. The first Grand Admiral of the Argoni task force in the United Alliance assigned to protect the Dargonix Sector and one of his Argoni ally in this war against the PRA. The channel was secure on his end, as it always was.
“War Master Malsvir, I am honored by your call,” Horde replied humbly on the comm-unit.
“Is your line secure, Grand Admiral?” requested Master Malsvir.
“Yes, it is. There is great unrest in the royal family and in my own house. The prince of Argon and his father aren't agreeing on sides of the war against the PRA. The king is on our side, but his children are agreeing with the viewpoints of the PRA. As for my own house, well my grandson Brad and great-grandson Rudigger Hackman have sided with the PRA. Rudigger's own mother believes in the PRA viewpoints, as well,” Horde reported to the War Master.
“I am aware of your family's viewpoints and their defecting to the PRA. Rudigger is now calling himself Xanatos and he has been a thorn in my side. He was the one who convinced his own uncle to defect to the PRA. Corvet'e has been punished for his son's actions against the WLE. I have now decided to punish Corvet'e every time Xanatos takes action us,” Master Malsvir gloated to the Grand Admiral.
“That will teach them to fear you rather than Valient, a god that is powerless to save him, or his precious PRA. The PRA will fall just as Valient has abandoned the people of Argon. May Basilisk turn our enemies to stone,” replied Horde, as the War Master nodded to the Grand Admiral and cut the transmission.
“I am Dracetus in the flesh. I will resurrect you my friend, with enough fear and faith Basilisk will rule this world and all the universe, and Yahweh will be powerless to do anything,” Master Malsvir stated boldly to himself.
Corvet`e went to his personal chambers to contact War Spy 313, to check on her progress. She was on board the Crimson Stingray, as an Ensign in Main Engineering. She has a private comm-unit that he gave her for emergencies like this one. “War Spy 313, do you read me? This is your master calling you, I need to speak with you, now,” Corvet`e stated on the view screen.
“Yes, Master Corvet`e. This is War Spy 313, I hear you,” War Spy 313 replied on the comm-unit.
“I need you to destroy the PRA from within. You must find a way to get promoted to captain to gain control the Crimson Stingray and eventually gain the trust of the PRA,” ordered Corvet`e, “Do you know where the Pale Dragon went to?”
“They send the captain of Crimson Stingray coordinates to the new PRA base of operations, but what I don't know where this base is. The captain told his senior staff, but failed to tell the rest of the crew of the destination of the Crimson Stingray,” reported War Spy 313.
“You must find out the new PRA base of operations for Argon and the WLE. You must also make sure that H'Ackre-Limwin survives from our little siege on the former PRA base on her home planet. We will be recapturing Layardia and Bowdoia to show those rebels that we will rule this universe with an iron fist. The Grand Admiral's health that is your first priority,” Corvet`e ordered as the War Spy 313 looked uneasy at those orders. “Is there a problem, War Spy 313?”
“The Grand Admiral knows I am War Spy in the PRA fleet. I was the one who captured her for you, my lord. If there is a possibility she does remember the events in the ancient Talyardian temple, I would fail my mission and disgrace the WLE. If Xanatos had not interfered, we would still have her in our custody, and I would still be here to keep my identity a secret from the crew of this ship,” War Spy 313 confessed to her master.
“Well, if she wakes you must keep her from remembering or keep from speaking to anyone of your true loyalties. Understand that if she speaks of what happened in the Talyardian temple, you and I will both suffer Master Malsvir's wrath. Either way, you must be there when she is stabilized from her condition that we put her in,” ordered Corvet`e, as the alarms went off on War Spy 313's comm-unit. “What is that noise?”
&
nbsp; “The door is chiming, I understand, Master. 313 Out,” War Spy 313 cut communications with him.
Corvet'e thought of his next move to make. He decided to contact his wife on Argon from here. He needed to ensure Pamela that luck was on their side and that Rudigger would be returning home safe in her arms, again. He needed to find the Horde family frequency that was going to have him get Pamela's attention.
He saw that the Horde family frequency was being used by Master Malsvir himself. Why would Master Malsvir be using my own family's frequency? Corvet`e thought as he eavesdropped on the frequency's user. The line was secured on the War Master's end. That meant Corvet`e could not eavesdrop on what he was talking about to whomever was on the family frequency. He switched to the Hackman family frequency in the Chess Sector of Argon. There was a brief pause, and he saw his wife's face on the view screen.
“Samuel, my husband. What is the matter?” Pamela asked with concern.
“My Master has ordered me to bring order to the Talyardians since they allowed the PRA to use their ancient temple as a secret base for operating their wrath against us. I was punished by Master Malsvir for our son's actions against the WLE and my Master personally,” Corvet`e replied to his wife. He saw a look on her face of sadness when she heard that he was punished for their own rebellious son's actions. “What troubles you, Pamela?” Corvet'e asked.
“I was informed from my grandfather- the one who is a Grand Admiral- that Emperor Malsvir will severely punish you whenever Rudigger and his crew defies Emperor Malsvir. My grandfather agreed with Emperor Malsvir's decision,” Pamela said, shaking her head at the thought of agreeing with Master Malsvir.
“I was under the impression that he was still speaking with my War Master. I am speaking to you through the Hackman family frequency, because they are using the Horde family frequency to discuss my fate and our rebellious son's fate, as well,” replied Corvet`e, as he heard tapping on a table or a desk in the background of the Pamela's end of the view screen. Pamela was sitting with her on her lap. “Master Malsvir and the Grand Admiral are on a separate view screen with you, aren't they?” Corvet`e frowned as he heard the War Master's evil laugh come from the background of Pamela's view screen. Pamela playfully laughed at the comment her husband made.
“No, silly. I am eavesdropping on my grandfather's comm channel. I sliced into the Horde family frequency to see what the WLE and United Alliance was planning for our family's future,” Pamela said, as showed her husband the holographic display of Horde and Master Malsvir speaking with each other. “You didn't marry me for my beautiful face and body, did you?” she teased him playfully.
“I almost forgot you were once the best code and transmission slicer for the United Alliance,” Corvet`e smiled at his wife.
“Almost, shame on you, Sam,” Pamela grinned. “You must have forgotten the place where we first met. It was on board the War Valor. You were the First Officer and I was a lieutenant and the officer slicing through the Dragonlings communications relay systems. By the way, where is the War Valor these days? Where is that beauty of a war cruiser?” Pamela asked curiously.
“She was renamed the War Dragon by the War Master. Since we are at peace with the Dragons and Dragonlings, we had to rename and recommission several of our war cruisers and space freighters. Now, the War Lord Empire is war with Cetearan Sector, do to the Grand Admiral of the PRA was Talyardian,” replied Corvet`e.
“You don't know that the Elementals have declared war with the United Alliance, because of their involvement in the Chi- Koss' attack on their homeworld. The Storm Elves are honor bound to protect the Chi- Koss. When the Storm Elves declared then all the Elementals are honor bound to band together as one nation against the United Alliance. The Argoni News announced the declaration of war from the Element Nations in a press conference this evening on the United News,” reported Pamela.
“The War Master was responsible for that attack on the Chi- Koss. He was punishing them for the actions of one of their own that went to the PRA after he located the Pale Dragon. Captain Sqiidas of the PRA found that ship and used it against us on a few occasions now. Rudigger is now the captain of the most wanted vessel out there in the universe. I have more information than that. There is a new race of androids that the Gemanites had created before their extinction. I ran across one of their scout ships, and several of them invaded the War Shadow. They call themselves the Atron Ascendancy, and they want to concur, enslave, and control the universe at large,” Corvet'e stated urgently to his wife.
“If they reach the Genera Sector and infect a control virus on the Generals that our ancestors created that will doom all of the universe's entire sentient races. Valient will not have a reason to return to his people!” exclaimed Pamela.
“My War Master doesn't believe in the power and majesty of Valient, only in resurrecting Basilisk and Dracetus. He wants a war with Valient and to destroy the Pirate Rebels and finally to bring his order to the universe,” replied Corvet'e, as his wife gasped at the revelation of what he said. “What is it, dear?”
“The creatures that your War Master wants to resurrect are two in the same demons. The highest angel of Valient's Legion of Angels that saw how Valient created and gave all of other the sentient races free will and that angel rebelled against Valient. Valient cast the angel in the Abyss of Fire in exile from this realm. The dark angel's return will bring the annihilation of the universe Valient created,” Pamela stated to her husband.
“I see. How do you know this? I had no idea that was in the book of prophecies. Argoni Archives in the city of Argonox never had it in their book of prophecies. Where did you get your information from?” Corvet'e asked curiously.
“It was written in Ancient's Great Hall of Scrolls in Ancient's city of Majesty. I read them myself. Majesty is the Holy City of Valient on Argon. Many of Valient's followers visit His Holy City to see the wonders of His awesome works in the universe,” Pamela stated humbly.
Corvet'e was silent for several minutes before he realized that the War Master and Horde were no longer talking in the background. “Are they onto you, or did they cut their communications with each other?” asked Corvet'e, as his wife was looking at the monitor with the Grand Admiral and War Master on it.
“They are done speaking with one another. It's all right they didn't even know I sliced into their communication systems,” gloated Pamela, as she shut down her slicing equipment.
“Well, that's good to know,” Corvet'e said relieved. “It good to see you still have the slicer's touch and aren't rusty at it after all these years of raising a family,” He teased, as he saw that twinkle in her eyes again. She smiled at him on the view screen. She was about to say something when his door alarm began buzzing. “I have to go, bye. I love you,” Corvet'e closed his end of the transmission.
Corvet`e felt sad that he could never be a true family, as long as Master Malsvir led the throne of the War Lord Empire. He wanted so badly to destroy the War Master to be a family again, and Rudigger would not need to be in the PRA, but he would be a law-abiding citizen. The door alarm chimed again.
“Enter. The door is open,” Corvet'e ordered the person at the door. Lord Malsvir entered the threshold with a smile on his face. “Yes, Sverak? How can I help you?”
“Master Malsvir sent me to tell you that you must take the War Shadow and a large fleet to subdue the Talyardians at their homeworld. I am to take command of Shadow Warrior and three Argoni Battle Cruisers to subdue the Bowdoians on their homeworld. We must work together to secure the Cetacea Sector,” Lord Malsvir ordered Corvet`e.
“I will be ready. You should be getting your fleet, and your space fighters had better be fully fueled. I will be preparing my men, space fighters, and my capital ships for battle. To the death, and may Basilisk turn our enemies to stone,” Corvet`e replied and beat his right fist on his chest in the War Lord's salute. Lord Malsvir returned the War Lord's salute and left the room. “And may Valient be with you my son, Xanatos and the Pirat
e Rebels that are fighting the good fight,” Corvet`e said quietly. Corvet'e left his chambers and headed for the Main Bridge to take command of the small fleet massing against the Talyardian's homeworld.
Angeran Sector, third moon of Cetus
The Pale Dragon landed in the middle of a jungle filled moon. The landing ramp lowered with Xanatos and Kingsley exiting the Pale Dragon, headed for the Temple of Yahweh, as they were instructed to do by Valient Sword. The jungle was a typical rain forest, and the weather was evident to the fact. Xanatos and Kingsley wore raincoats and were already drenched from the pouring rain. They walked for twenty minutes until they saw the Ancient Temple of Yahweh right in front of them.
There were no guards or priests at the Ancient Temple of Yahweh to greet them. The Ancient Temple of Yahweh had been abandoned for a millennium or more. Lightning suddenly struck the ground near the two of them.
“I think we should get inside and stay dry,” Xanatos suggested, as they entered the threshold of the Ancient Temple of Yahweh. Kingsley nodded as they followed the threshold to the interior of the Ancient Temple of Yahweh.
“Agreed, Captain Xanatos. Valient Sword was telling the truth to us about the Ancient Temple of your Lord Yahweh. Valient Sword was under Yahweh's guidance when he told us of this great base of operations. Shall I inform the rest of PRA vessels of this new staging area?” Kingsley asked in awe of the sight that she saw in temple itself.
“No, there is a War Spy among one of the vessels. We let the rest of the fleet break off into three groups. Group One will come to this temple. Group Two will go to the Elemental Sector to the second moon of Nogra. Group Three will go to the Dargonix Sector on the planet Tropica,” A voice that sounded like Xanatos ordered after he entered the Ancient Temple of Yahweh. “I will line up the vessels in ranges of greatest to least on their firepower and count them.”
“Yes, Captain Xanatos. Is that a contradiction to your previous orders?” asked Kingsley, as she Xanatos was not speaking at all. “Captain, did you say that?”
