She Took My Heart and Went Crazy 2 Page 8

“You know how I feel about that hoe.”

“I can’t tell.” East rolled her eyes before grabbing a hand full of him and squeezing it lightly. “You let her touch it?”

Killian shook his head. “Ain’t nobody touching this li’l nigga but you.”

The sexy smile on East’s face brought about another one from him.

“Y’all might need to take all this sweet shit in y’all room.” Yeshi walked over to them.

East’s hand dropped from Killian’s dick the moment she looked over her shoulder. That made Killian mad as ever, but he didn’t speak on it.

“Not yet. I’m trying to enjoy Vegas.” She smiled at Yeshi over her shoulder. “You’re just trying to get back to your party.”

  “That would be correct.”

“You can go ahead. I got her from here.”

Yeshi nodded. “Bet.” He looked from East to Killian. “You coming back?”

Killian shrugged, and Yeshi nodded while walking toward them. He held his hand out and dapped Killian up before turning to walk away. He stumbled a little, and Killian shook his head. That dude was drunk as hell too. Which was sadly the norm for him. From the first time Killian had ever met Yeshi, he’d been a big drinker. The only reason he was probably able to handle it as well as he did was because of his size. Had he been any smaller, he would probably be face down on the floor.

“Aye, bruh, wait right here. I’ll take you back,” Killian called out to him.

Yeshi turned around with a wide smile on his face. “I’m good.”

“No, you ain’t. Wait right here. I’m about to take you.”

“He’s fine, let’s go do something else,” East whined while stepping to Killian and running her tongue along the side of his neck. “I’m so wet right now.” She spoke a little too loud.

Killian looked at her, not knowing whether to smile or frown. She was so pretty and so out of order for saying that so loud.

“Let’s just get a quickie. That’ll hold me over until later.”

East’s arms circled his neck as she kissed and tugged at his ear. Her tongue slid in and out of it before grabbing the lobe with her teeth.

“I’ve been thinking about sucking your dick since you walked up. Let me at least do that,” East whined again.

The liquor had her on one, and though Killian was enjoying it—and would be enjoying it even more a little later—he couldn’t let Yeshi go out by himself in the state he was in.

“Let me make sure this nigga is good first then I’ll give you all the dick you want.”

East pouted but nodded and stomped off in front of him. She pushed Yeshi’s head as she passed him. Yeshi and Killian both laughed at her dramatics. She was halfway back to the elevators when he and Yeshi caught up with her. Before they could even get on the elevator, Yeshi was leaning over the trash can throwing up, and not just a little. That nigga was damn near throwing his whole stomach up.

“Damn, nigga. Shit!” Killian jumped back.

East and the other two women who had been waiting for the elevator looked on in disdain. Yeshi was hurling nonstop and smelling the hallway up with liquor. It continued for a little while longer. When he was finally done, he used the bottom of his shirt to wipe his mouth.

Clearly exhausted and way drunker than he thought, Yeshi leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. One of his hands covered his stomach as the other held on to the same bottle that caused his current situation.

“I can’t go nowhere like this,” Yeshi spoke with his eyes still closed. “I need to lie down.”

Killian raised his eyebrows. Just where in the hell did he think he was about to lay? Sure as hell not in him and East’s room. She was drunk and talking all kinds of nasty. He most definitely was about to make good on that.

“I just need about an hour. Then, I’ll be straight.”

Killian looked from Yeshi to East. She was leaning on the wall with her arms folded. Though she wasn’t anywhere near as bad off as Yeshi, she was clearly drunk as well.

“You good?” He looked at her.

She nodded. “Leave him. He should be good by the time we get back.”

Killian nodded and tapped Yeshi’s arm. He opened his eyes and stumbled behind Killian until they reached the room. The moment the door opened, they walked in, and Yeshi fell onto the bed face first.

  “You gon’ be straight?”

“Yeah. I just need about an hour.”

“Bet.” Killian headed for the door.

“Aye, homie,” Yeshi called to him.

Killian’s body turned slightly to give Yeshi his attention.

“She wanna get married and shit.”

  “What?” Killian’s temper simmered.

“Yo girl,” Yeshi sat up some and held his head in his hand.

It took him a minute to get himself together enough to continue talking.

“She was telling me all that female bullshit about loving you and wanting to be married and shit, so you should probably marry her.”

“Say the fuck what? Nigga, you drunk as shit for real. Lay your ass down.”

Yeshi smiled with his eyes closed and lay back on the bed. “Aight, but I’m warning you. You’re on the clock with that girl.”

Killian was laughing when he walked out of the room and closed the door. His eyes found East the moment he was back in the hallway. She was leaning against the wall looking like something out of a fashion magazine. Her long, slender body posed casually while she looked around, bobbing her head to absolutely nothing. There was no music playing as far as Killian could hear, but she was cute.

His laughter caught her attention, and she smiled. “What?”

“You do know there’s no music playing, right?”

A drunken, wide-toothed smile spread over her gorgeous face when she shrugged. “Yes, it is.” She tapped her heart. “In here. It’s the rhythm of my heart. It changes when you’re around.”

If Killian called and told Onyx right then the way her words made him feel, Onyx would probably have to build a levee to contain the water East had melted him into. Nothing smaller would hold the type of pressure a typhoon of his magnitude would cause.

“It makes me feel good, so I dance to it.”

The distance between them was closed when Killian pressed his chest against her and kissed her mouth. Naturally, East went with the flow. Their tongues intertwined in their own personal wordplay. The oral exchange of inaudible expressions of love continued until East pulled away and held her head down.

  “I’m so drunk right now.”

“You want to stay in the room?”

With a frown on her face, East shook her head. “Nah, we won’t have any privacy. Let’s just hang out for a little while. That way, we can throw him out when we get back.”

Killian liked the sound of that, so he took her up on her offer. The night went by in a blur after their first couple of stops. With hours of non-stop laughing, drinking, and overly exerted amounts of affection later, Killian found himself standing face to face with East. There were at a small altar that looked to have been decorated by a designer from the sixties accompanied by an overweight midget in a bathrobe.

“You really gon’ be my wife? Just like that? No questions asked?”

East nodded excitedly with a large smile on her face. “Just like that.”

Bits and pieces of that night still haunted Killian, mainly the parts that involved him and Sheena. That had been surreal as hell; he still refused to face that part. He knew for a fact that he had sex with her, but the whole memory of it was weird as hell because it felt more like he was having sex with East than Sheena, but that made no sense at all.

Maybe it was the guilt he felt for sleeping with Sheena that had him bugging about East and Yeshi. Maybe if she had indeed slept with Yeshi, that would rid him of his transgressions with Asheena. Even with it sounding crazy, he’d rather face that than face the fact that he willingly put his and East’s relationship in harm’s way for
Sheena. He’d purposely done the very thing that ruined him with the exact person who had done the ruining. So, even though he knew for a fact that he was East’s husband, he still wasn’t sure whether his lawfully wedded wife had cheated on him, and he was sticking to that until he could make his conscience believe otherwise.

“I know you fucking lying.” Gabrion stared at Killian with a blank face.

Killian shook his head while lowering himself to the floor to do pushups.

“All this time you been torturing that woman, and you already knew she was your wife? What kind of shit is that, Kill?”

“It’s too complicated to explain, but I haven’t been torturing her about marrying the nigga, I’ve been losing sleep behind the pussy.” Killian’s head lowered to the floor as he pushed himself up and down a few more times. “The feeling I get from her, I ain’t trying to share. It’s too addicting.”

“Clearly. You married the girl, so it’s obviously something. You plan on staying married or was this one of those what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas type of nights?”

After one more pushup, Killian sat up on the ground and leaned his back against the mirror. He stared off in the distance for only a moment before looking back at Gabrion.

“Y’all niggas gon’ clown me for this, but I actually want to stay married to her.”

“I knew hanging around Onyx and Jaylen was going to make something like this happen.” His laughter took over the rest of his sentence, drawing Killian in as well.

“So, you bought that ring and everything?”

  “Five bands.”

“Nigga, what! You spent five thousand dollars on a fucking Vegas bride? Nigga, are you serious?”

The stomach-turning laughter that escaped from Killian was just what he’d needed all day. It literally felt better than anything he’d felt since marrying East.

“You talk like I don’t know the girl.”

“You don’t. Not enough for that kind of cash.”

“So, I know I love her.”

Gabrion sat back on the weight bench dramatically. “This shit just gets worse and worse.”

  “What’s so bad about that?”

Gabrion shook his head and was quiet for a minute before waving Killian off. “I guess ain’t nothing really bad about it, but only if you’re serious about her. Five bands, though?”

  “It was a guilt gift.”

Gabrion’s raised brow showed how perplexed he was.

“I fucked Sheena right after I married her.” Killian’s head fell forward. “I got scared and just… did that stupid shit.”

  “Nigga! What?”

“I know, but check this, the whole time I’m fucking Sheena, I can’t focus on nothing about her because I had East on me so hard I felt like she was there.”

  “Boy, you all fucked up.”

“Nigga, who you telling? Then it’s like as soon as I left her, I started feeling bad as hell. I knew I couldn’t walk up in there on no simple stuff, so I stopped and copped her a band. It wasn’t nothing, though. You know I got it.” Killian waved off the money as if it were a drop in a bucket. “But when I got there, she was knocked out, so I just slid it on her finger. I was about to get in the bed with her and act like I had been there, but when I moved the covers she ain’t have on shit but her bra, and that junk made me hotter than a son of a bitch.”

“As it should have. Where was Yeshi?”

“Knocked out in the other bed. But his ass was shirtless too. He had pants and shit on, and she had her panties on, but she ain’t have no business damn near naked in the same room as one of my boys. I don’t know what the fuck happened.”

Gabrion whistled through his teeth. “I feel that.” He nodded. “Now, I see why you been so fucked up. At first, I thought you were just being your stubborn ass self, but now I get it. I still think you need to get to the bottom of it, though. If you can’t get a straight answer out of her, then call that nigga.”

“See, that’s the thing. She’s giving me a straight answer. She keeps saying no, and when I say why, she’s all, because I know.” Killian rolled his neck and mimicked East in his best female voice.

Gabrion was dying from laughter. “Bruh, just get yourself out of this shit because you already know how you are with women.”

Killian wasn’t quite sure how to take Gabrion’s statement, so he ignored it and went back to his workout. They worked out together for another hour or so before parting ways. Killian was in his office going over some of his new membership prices when his cellphone buzzed with a text.

Asheena: So, you’re not going to address Vegas?

Killian stared at her text, trying to decide whether or not he was going to respond. When he figured it wouldn’t hurt, he picked his phone up and text her the bare minimum.

  Killian: Nah

Asheena: Really, Killian? I think we should… please?

  Killian: Nah

  Asheena: Please!

  Killian: When, Asheena? Damn

Asheena: Now? I can come to you, or you can come here

  Killian: I’ll be over there

After letting her know that he was on the way, Killian closed his books and grabbed his things. He was out of his gym and in route to Sheena’s house in no time. Vegas was one trip he was starting to wish he hadn’t taken.

  7. A Second Chance Would be Nice

The candles burning on Sheena’s countertop was the last thing she’d had to do before Killian got there. She had been so prepared for him to turn her invitation down that she’d been nearly breaking her neck to get her home in order before he got there. She’d known Killian long enough to know he would get on her everlasting nerve if he came over and her house was a mess.

When she was sure everything was up to par, she rushed to take a shower. She’d broken into a serious sweat trying to clean, and though she didn’t anticipate anything going down between her and Killian, she could never be too sure. He was unpredictable like that.

“Love Drought” blasted through her speakers as she showered and while she got dressed for Killian.

Just as she finished putting lotion on her feet, she heard knocking on her door. Sheena checked her face in the mirror once more before running to the door and opening it without looking. Her face frowned as Jaylen pushed past her and walked into her living room with East in tow.

Sheena huffed before turning to give the girls her attention. “What are y’all doing here?” She did her best to void the attitude from her question.

“We were about to go grab some food, so I stopped by to see did you want to ride with us.” Jaylen took a seat on the sofa while East stood next to her.

Sheena wasn’t surprised to see the displeased look on East’s face. She owned that shit, and Sheena couldn’t even hate her for it. The stunt she and Killian had pulled in Vegas at Yeshi’s party was extremely disrespectful, and to be blatantly honest, East owed her a good ass whooping for it. If she found out about the sex, Sheena was sure East would most definitely be on her head. Damn. Sheena hoped she wasn’t about to give it to her right then. Furthermore, she needed to get out of there before Killian came.

“Why you ain’t call me?” Sheena looked away from East and nervously looked at Jaylen nervously.

Jaylen gave Sheena a quizzical look. “Since when do I ever call before I stop by?”

“I mean you don’t, but you normally come by yourself too.”

East’s neck rolled in Sheena’s direction. “Hoe, if you have something to say to me, then say it. I didn’t want to come to your li’l raggedy house any damn way. Jaylen’s Mother Theresa ass made me.”

Sheena’s heartbeat sped up as she listened to East cuss her out. She could act as hard as she wanted, but she really didn’t want any problems with East. Sheena had never really been a fighter and didn’t plan to start with East. She’d been doing just enough to make East think she wasn’t afraid of her, but that front was wearing thin because it only worked when they were in front of a lot of people.

With just her and Jaylen there, East would probably demolish her, and she really didn’t want to deal with that.

  “Jaylen,” Sheena whined.

“You know what, let me go.” East grabbed Jaylen’s keys from her lap and walked toward the door that Sheena was still holding open. “Jaylen, I’ll wait for you in the car.”

“East, don’t leave. Sheena, come on. Have dinner with us. You two need to fix this.”

“Jay, if you don’t bring your kumbaya ass on, so we can go. You’re always trying to make stuff better. Fuck this hoe.”

Jaylen looked like she wanted to object but changed her mind and stood to her feet. She watched Sheena the whole way to the door and even stopped in front of her before leaving.

“I really wish you would give her a chance.”

“Don’t beg that troll for a chance. I don’t even like her ass,” East sassed as she walked out the door and back toward Jaylen’s car.

Sheena watched her all the way, not wanting to say anything that would make her stay longer, or even worse, stay and put her hands on her.

“I guess I’ll call you when I get home.”

Sheena nodded and hugged Jaylen before pushing her out the door. She breathed a sigh of relief before running her hand over her head. She stayed pacing in the same spot for another few minutes before going to her phone. She had no missed alerts, so she dialed Killian’s number. She wasn’t surprised when he didn’t answer. He was famous for that.

  “Stupid bas—”

More knocking came. This time, Sheena made sure to look through the peephole. When she saw Killian’s face, she opened the door and pulled him inside with her.

  “It took you long enough.”

Killian scoffed and kept it moving as if he didn’t give two fucks about her words. He didn’t say anything until he was seated comfortably on her sofa.

“What you need to get off your chest?”
