“Speaking of flirting,” she said, glancing past his big shoulders. “I think Edward and Kate’s mom are conducting a little interlude of their own.” Kyle turned his head and saw the older couple sharing a couple of glasses of champagne on the porch. He looked back into Dana’s eyes.
“I think you’re right. And my compliments on your smooth change of subject.”
“Upset?” Dana grinned.
“At you? Never.”
“Good. Now drop this nonsense, and let’s go dance.”
