“I’m okay. Just edgy.”
“This character?”
Hays sighed. “Yeah. Under my skin but I can’t quite get to her.”
Auden glanced over her shoulder at her office door. It was closed. No one would arrive for at least another few hours. She lifted her hips and slid her skirt up her thighs. “There’s someone knocking on your door.”
“Do I know who it is?”
“You will.” Auden brushed her fingertips over the silk covering her sex. “Open the door and let her in.”
“She’s here,” Hays announced, her voice slipping into that low, seductive range she used when she read to her audience. Her other lovers.
“What does she have to say?”
“There’s a big overstuffed chair in front of the windows, by the desk,” Hays said. “She wants me to sit there.”
“You should finish unbuttoning your shirt and open your pants before you do.” Auden pressed down on the swell of her clitoris, imagining Hays’s pink-tipped breasts framed by the open folds of black silk. “She’s kneeling down between your legs. Running her hands over your chest, your stomach. Caressing your breasts, circling your nipples.”
“She’s rocking against my crotch. Makes my clit ache,” Hays said, the words heavy and slow. Her pants would be open now. Her hand sliding lower.
“Your nipples are hard and she licks them.” Auden pinched her clitoris lightly through the silk, her breath coming faster. “Sucks them. First one, then the other.”
Hays groaned quietly. “She nips at my nipple and my clit twinges. Like she has her mouth on it, biting me.”
Auden swept the silk aside and flicked the tip of her clitoris with her fingernail. “She draws her nails down your belly to your pants. Lift up so she can work them off.”
Hays’s breath rasped over the line, uneven and harsh. Auden pictured her squeezing her nipples while she rolled her clitoris rhythmically between her long, supple fingers—her dark eyes hooded, her brows creased in concentration. Coiled tight already, imagining the mouth on her breast, the fingers on her fly, the lips skimming down her abdomen.
“She kisses your clitoris,” Auden whispered, using three fingers to massage the sensitive spot at the base of her core against the bone underneath. The ache spread deeper and she bit her lip to hold back a whimper.
“Her lips are so soft.” Hays groaned. “Feels so good.”
Listening to Hays’s voice catch, knowing what she was doing, Auden gushed. Hays would be hard, so very hard now. Wet and rigid, swollen, pulsing. Her lean thighs tight, her pelvis tilted up to the mouth devouring her. She’d be so lost in it now, so desperate for the next word, the next phrase, the next image to carry her one step higher. Auden fluttered her clitoris between her fingers, teasing her orgasm to the surface.
“She brushes her lips over the top, back and forth. Ever so lightly.”
“More. Jesus. Suck me,” Hays panted. “Jesus, suck me.”
“Her mouth is warm and wet. She circles her lips around you, closes down on your clit.” Auden circled the tip of her clitoris with one finger, spreading the satiny fluid over the tingling nerve endings. Carefully, carefully. Close now. “She teases along the ridge with the tip of her tongue, back and forth underneath the hood. Mmm, tasting you. She sucks. Kisses. Sucks.”
“She’ll make me come,” Hays warned sharply. “In another minute, she’ll make me come.”
The ring tone on Auden’s computer sounded and she swirled her chair back to face her desk. When she saw the number, her hand trembled and she clicked the mouse over the phone icon on her monitor. The image filled her screen. Hays in a chair, her head tilted back, her shirt open, her breasts exposed. Her lips were parted, her eyes narrowed and intense as she stared down at the woman out of sight between her legs.
“She sucks you down deep. Swirls her tongue.” Auden’s voice shook. “And then she pulls off and kisses your clit all over.”
Hays’s eyes flickered up to Auden, then down again. “I’ll come in her mouth the next time she does that.”
“She licks you underneath, on the sides, around and around the tip. She teases your ass and your lips with her fingers.” Auden felt her orgasm gathering force in the base of her clit, twisting through the muscles in her pelvis, pulsing in the core of tissue between her legs. “She’s playing with her clit. Moaning while she sucks you. She wants to come too.”
“She’s sucking hard now, not letting go. Her lips are so damn tight around my clit. Jesus, she’s going to make me come!” Hays grimaced, her shoulder vibrating, and Auden knew she was whipping her clit into an orgasm. She stroked hers faster, feeling the floodgates open.
“Oh, oh God,” Auden moaned. “She’s sucking you and her clit is exploding and she’s spilling everywhere, everywhere, all over her fingers, down her thighs…” She lost her breath and could only whimper as her belly clenched again and again.
“I’m coming,” Hays said through gritted teeth, her glassy gaze holding Auden’s. “I’m coming in her mouth, and she’s sucking me, she’s sucking me and I’m coming on her face and…” Hays’s neck strained and her chest arched off the chair. “Oh Jesus. Oh God. She’s so good.”
“Oh my God,” Arden sighed, holding herself tightly as her sex pulsed. “Oh my God.”
Hays laughed shakily. “What did you say her name was?”
Auden managed enough energy to grin at Hays. “I didn’t. You’re the author, remember. You pick a name.”
“Whoever she is, she’s definitely got the lead in my next book.”
“Then I’m very glad I’m your editor.” Auden straightened her clothes and checked her watch. “I should go home and shower. Are you going to try to sleep?”
Hays brushed her hand over her chest and stretched. “I’m a little jazzed right now. I think I’ll write some more.”
“Then I think I’ll work at home this morning. Call me when you get done.” Auden touched her fingers to her lips and sent Hays a kiss. “We’ll see which character shows up at your door then.”
