Choosing Her Page 8

by Jessika Klide

  I'm alone and so lonely.

Hanging my head as I rise, I push-up onto my hands and knees as I gather strength to sit back on my heels, looking to the sky as I reach for it, asking.

Why? What's the point of dreams if you are all alone.

Dropping my hands suddenly, I quickly turn to look right at him. He is too far away to actually see his eyes, but I can feel him to my core.

  I want you, Aurei.

Slowly, I extended my hand to him, holding it out until the chorus starts. With the lyrics "Run To You," I rise but I don't dance. Instead, I trot off the platform and down to the stage.

I need you! I want you! Hold me! Keep me safe! The words to the song drive me to Aurei.

At the edge, I fall to my knees and in one fluid motion, I spin and lay flat. Arching, I push my tits to the ceiling again. Allowing my head to hang limply, I drag my hair on the floor as I sit up. Then, I snap it, flipping my hair up and over the top in the opposite direction as the other times before. It falls like a curtain around my shoulders. Slumping forward, putting my hands on the edge of the stage, I pull my ass off and my feet hit the dance floor.

Standing there, I shake my disheveled hair back.

No more tears. No more fears. Looking across the dance floor, our eyes lock and his green gaze pierces my core like the first time in that shrinking elevator span.

  You are the one!

The rest of the world falls away. I walk quickly, breaking into a trot, hurrying across the short distance, closing in on him with my own intensity. I'm wild eyed, asking the unspoken question.

He gaze is as thunderous as mine is my wild, matching my intensity. As his strong, confident, godlike gait brings him to stand only inches from me, he looks down on my face, but he doesn’t touch me. I can feel his magnetism is turned on high, and like in the elevator, I can feel his body heat radiating; letting it wash over me, making my whole being come in tune with him. Uncontrollably drawn to him like the flower following the sun. Thunderous emerald green controlling crystal green wildness. It takes every ounce of willpower I possess not to throw my arms around him, to submit myself to being controlled by him. My body begins to quiver from the battle raging inside of pure passion for him and the passion necessary to resist him.

"Breathe, baby. Breathe with me, My Sweet, Wild, Every Thang." He leans down and touches his lips with mine in that gentle, soft, yet firm way that makes me melt, and he blows his breath in my mouth. I inhale his essence and breathe him into my soul … forever.

As the song ends, our eyes connected, our breathing synced, I find the center of myself.

I know this truth. There will only ever be Aurelius for me.

  Chapter Fourteen

Lionel Richie, "Do It to Me" starts to play and Aurei presses his body to mine, electrifying me. He starts to sway to the music. My body instantly responds and matches his movements.

Perfect rhythm and fluid movement. Of course. He is perfect in every way.

We become one with each other, and one with the music as we sway together.

He dips his head down to my ear and sings softly. "You're a Bad Thang. Standing here … alone." The tone of his voice is like butter. Smooth, silky, perfect! "You look so damn good to me."

I get chill bumps from my ear all the way down to my toes. My nipples harden, wanting his attention.

He sings. "Put your arms around me, Siri."

  I hand them to him.

He lays one on his shoulder and holds the other one to his chest as he sings. "You've set me on fire."

I can feel his heart beating as we sway in each others essence.

He sings. "You put a spell on me. Did you know you set me free?"

I look into his eyes. They tell me I'm the most beautiful girl in the world.

He smiles at me with the sexiest smile and my body flushes hot for him. "You know what my heart desires. Your blue heart, baby." The corners of his eyes crinkle just a little. "I can't deny you."

My eyes twinkle up at him.

As Lionel sings the chorus to us, Aurei cups my ass, lifting me so I am light on my feet, and pulls me tight to him. His erection presses into me and my face touches his chest. I close my eyes and inhale deeply the essence of Aurei.

He takes a step; I instinctively match it, then open my eyes to see him smiling at me. "Dance with me, Siri." He pumps twice in that direction, then pulls me back and pumps twice, then we spin. He leads and I follow, moving around the dance floor.

You are the sexiest dance partner I've ever had.

He sings to me with his deep voice and rich tone as we dance. Looking so sincerely into my eyes. "You are the girl of my dreams. You're my Every Thang. You put a spell on me, Siri. Did you know you set me free?"

Oh … I'm falling… into the abyss of bliss.

He pulls me tight when we spin, humming into my ear. Our bodies matching perfectly. "You set me on fire." He whispers. "You are mine."

We dance the entire song with him singing to me, changing the words slightly to make them perfect for us. "Do it to me. Once? No, over and over. I can't get enough of you. I'm no fool. I know exactly what I'm feeling. We have the reason why. Give us a chance to try. Knowing. Knowing, Baby, you won't hurt me. Oh yeah." He stops and we sway again as he holds my eyes captive. "Do it to me without goodbyes and I'll give you everything. Even my heart. You do it to me, Siri. I can't get enough of you. Let me give you more of Moore, and more with Moore."

"Oh, Aurei!" I start to shake.

He wraps me in a tight hug, burying me within his strong arms. I hear his words of assurance rumble in his chest as my face presses against his heart. "I got ya! I get ya!"

My Fucking Golden God! Aurelius Moore! I am yours forever!

He holds me, swaying gently, until the shaking is gone. When I snuggle in closer, I hear the muffled sound of another song as Aurei hums. Curious, I pick my head up to hear and he loosens his hug. Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake are singing, "Love Never Felt So Good."

Aurei tips my chin up and kisses my eyes. "Do you know what time it is?"

"No." I smile and sigh with a dreamy expression up at him. "Time has stood still. I don't really care what time it is."

He kisses my forehead and wraps his arms back around me. Burying my face in his chest again, I feel his heart beating against my cheek, as we sway to the song and it feels so natural to be here like this.

"You don't care that it’s been 24 hours since we had our first forever? Well, I do. Siri, it's been the happiest day of my life."

  My feet freeze.

  My body stiffens.

  My heart stops.

  I am breathless.

  Stunned by his words.

  My eyes slam shut.

  He chuckles. "Breathe, Baby Thang."

My heart squeezes itself in my chest as tears well up in my eyes. I roll up on my tip toes and bury my face in his neck, hugging him tight. "Oh My Fucking Golden God! I cannot believe the emotion and passion, coursing through my veins for you, and it's only been 24 hours!" I kiss his neck, and say with my mouth pressed against his skin. "Aurei, do you believe in soulmates?"

"Soulmates?" He draws away, clarifying my muffled question.

"Yes." I release my hold just enough so I can speak clearly and when I start to speak, he listens intently. "According to Greek mythology, humans were created with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces. Zeus feared their power and split them into two separate beings, condemning them to spend their lives searching for their other halves."

He kisses my forehead. "You are such a Special Thang." He pauses, considering my question with real sincerity, giving my comments on Zeus ample digestion before he speaks. "I believe we have souls." He slides one hand into my hair and the other he slides down my arm, pulling it off his back until he slides his fingers between mine, bonding us together in his sexy, sensuous way. "Siri, there is a strong, undeniable connection between us. I felt it the first time I saw you. You were perfection in motion. It was
incredible!" He shakes his head. "Then when your eyes finally touched mine, you pierced me deeper than anyone has ever done before." He squeezes me. "It's like you saw into me. I was startled, but I knew this something between us goes beyond physical attraction." He lifts my chin, and gazes into my eyes. "When I look into your eyes, I find all that is good in me and being with you is as natural as breathing." He kisses my hair. "Do I believe in soulmates? It sounds so cliché to put it that way. But now I do."

"I have always believed there was this one special man out there for me. That's why I waited."

  "I'm glad you waited."

"I knew you would find me."

He chuckles. "When I found you in Vegas, I knew I had to have a fucking relationship with you so I negotiated for an exclusive session, but I had to wait. Someone is a workaholic." He winks that killer wink at me, and I giggle, loving this little confession. "By the way, your security detail is tough to crack." I giggle again, and he smirks. "Finally my scheduled date came around and I was going to seduce you and make you mine. I couldn’t wait to look into your eyes." He stares into mine now, and I feel his power, his magnetism, drawing me down further into his abyss. He smiles that winning smile, and says. "Then you fucking vanished." I drop my eyes and chuckle. "I was devastated, Siri, but more determined than ever to have you." He squeezes me. "Then you were delivered to me." He laughs. "In a perfect way. When you walked across the parking lot, I couldn't believe it was you. Then you flashed your perfect pussy at me and I saw stars. I knew then that I wanted more with you. I wanted to win your heart."

He takes his finger and circles the heart hole in my halter. The touch of his skin on mine sends an electric current flowing through me, and tiny goose bumps radiate out. He takes my hands, and kisses them, then standing in one place, moving to the rhythm, doing a sexy side to side rock, he spins me, twirls me, and holds my hand while I dance a sexy salsa step for him.

When he drops his arms around me to sway again, I say. "You know, you really are a fantastic dancer! By far, the sexiest dance partner I have ever shared the floor with. And that's saying something, trust me on that."

  I feel his body tense.

"It's been a long time since I danced." He confesses.

  "I know you enjoy it?"

"Yes, I do. Very much." He pauses then takes a deep draw of air. "I had a fantastic teacher."

  "Who?"

"My Nonna taught me. She was the last person I danced with."

  "Why?"

  He doesn't answer.

I pull away and study his face. There is pain in his eyes. I ask softly. "Aurei, what happened?"

"She died of a heart attack as we walked off the dance floor. I saw her crumple."

"Oh my … I am so sorry!" I murmur, putting my face in his chest and holding on to him for dear life.

"It's ok, Sweet Thang." He kisses the top of my head. "She died the way she lived. Happy because she was dancing." I kiss his chest over and over, totally understanding that. "But I haven't danced again because I haven't wanted to dance with anyone else…. Until you."

"Aurei, I'm speechless ... and I am so honored!"

We sway in silence as the song winds down, then we say at the exact same time. "This never felt so good." Which makes us both burst out laughing.

We walk off together, arm in arm.

  Chapter Fifteen

Back at the table, everyone is grinning at us. Steve says to me. "Congrats. You broke the spell. Give us a hug." Aurei pulls me closer to him and Steve looks at him, then says, "Never mind. I'm good."

I laugh. "Nothing personal, Steve, but my Rule #1: No touching."

He looks at Aurei. "Did she tell you that?"

Aurei moves me in front of him, drapes his arms around my shoulders and laughs in my ear at Steve. "Of course not."

I love that sound. The sound of a rumble of thunder having fun. I turn my face to see his eye crinkled. Perfection. I kiss his arm and he squeezes me.

A girl comes over to us. She stands across the table and smiles, first at Aurei, then at me. She silently lays a $20 down and walks away.

Scarlet, who is still sitting on Paul's lap, reaches into her pocket, pulls out a $20 and tosses it on the table too. "You won our bet, Siri."

"What exactly was the bet?" I ask as another girl comes up and tosses a $20 down.

"We had a bet that the girl who could get Aurei back on the dance floor would collect a $20 from all the girls who tried and failed."

I smirk at Aurei. "I told you so. I told you they were playing games for you."

He rolls his eyes. "Girls and their drama."

A group of five more walk over and all throw $20's down too, while an actual line starts to form. Some say to me. "Good for you." Others tell Aurei. "I hope she makes you happy. You deserve to be." Some only say. "Congrats, and good luck."

Resa and her group file by too and she says. "I hope I get to see Ruth's face when she hears that you won. She bet everyone double that it would be her, so she owes you $40." She knuckle bumps me.

The jack pot continues to grow. Steve takes it on himself to be the banker. He stacks it neatly and keeps count as they file by. He tells each of them his name, and that he is available. Some of the girls give him their digits.

The stack of money is getting high. "Damn, Aurei. Looks like everyone here has asked you."

He swoops me off the chair, sits down, then sits me in his lap. "I don't remember telling this many girls no, but I guess I did."

When it appears the last one has come and gone, Steve tells us over 100 girls ponied up. "That calls for a toast!" He pours us all a stiff drink from the Crown Royal bottle. When we are ready, he stands. "Here's to Happy, Happy, Happy!" That cracks us all up and we clink glasses laughing.

Gaby comes back to tell us that the whole place is buzzing about me. "A mysterious woman has captured Mr. Untouchable's heart."

Aurei smirks at me and rubs my back, playing absentmindedly with my halter strap. "A wild, mysterious woman."

She checks her text. "My boss is here."

"Good." I kiss Aurei. "We can thank him for the VIP table and the bottle of Crown, then get that booty call."

Gaby says, "He didn't believe us when we told him you were here."

I frown at her. "Why did you tell your boss I was here? Isn't he just thanking me for the idea I had tonight?"

"No. We told him because we recognized you from the picture on his desk."

I am stunned. My mouth drops open.

Aurei are asks. "Who's your boss?"

She points behind me. "He is." Everyone turns to look at who has walked up.

"G'Day, Mates." He says to the table in his Australian accent, then he looks right at me and says with affection. "Ga day Cobber."

"Clay!" I jump up. "Oh my gosh!" I kiss my palm and he kisses his. "What on earth are you doing here?" We slap them together and drag them apart. "No wait. Don't tell me. You won this club at a high stakes poker table?"

"Aaa, I did." He laughs. "But what on earth, as you say, are you doing here?"

  "This is my home."

"No, Baby, Vegas is your home." He tells me and the endearment makes Aurei standup behind me. Paul and Steve exchange confused looks. Clay looks past me to Aurei, but says to me. "I see you have made an exception to Rule #1."

"I've forgotten my manners, let me introduce you." I turn to Aurei and take his hand. He doesn’t look at me, he is sizing Clay up.

Clay is a handsome specimen in his early 30's with long brown hair and soft sexy big curls. He is always tan and his smile is always sincere. He is one those people that you instantly like.

Clay nods at Aurei, and asks me. "So who’s the luckiest Bloke in the world?"

I grin at Aurei. "Clay, this is Aurei Moore. Aurei, I want you to meet Clay Quiqley." I squeeze his hand and he looks down at me. "Clay was my first." I look over at Steve and Paul, who have been taking every thing in. "Clay was my first appointment and he has been booking appointments with me and Lei ev
er since."

Aurei's eyes register my words. He turns his attention to Clay who offers his hand to shake.

"I'm her number one fan, Mate."

Aurei grasps it and says in full on alpha male mode. "Not any more. I'm #1."

"So she's given you the naughty, has she?" He chuckles.

"Clay!" I'm shocked that he would just come right out and ask.

He laughs at me, raising his eyebrows. "So she has!"

He winks at me when Aurei answers. "Yes, she has."

"She is quite the special Sheila."

"Yes, she is really something special alright."

He slaps Aurei on the arm. "That’s Bonzer, Mate! I'm truly happy for you two."

I beam at them and introduce the rest. "Clay, these are Aurei's Cobbers, Paul and Steve. And this is Scarlet, my new friend."

They all say. "Hello. Nice to meet you."

Clay spies the stacks of money on the table. "What have I missed?"

I laugh. "I won a longstanding bet tonight among the local girls."

"That's some Big Bikkies. You must have been dancing."

I roll my eyes. "It wasn’t that kind of dance."

Scarlet tells him. "The local girls had a bet running who would get the lucky bloke there to dance again."

"Ah! And Seary won the dance and the man."

Aurei grins at me. "Yes, she did." Then he extends Clay an invitation. "Please join us."

Clay pulls up a chair and sits. He tells us how he won the club a couple of months ago only to find out it's struggling. He’s been here a few times to get acquainted with the staff and the business. He flew in earlier today to decide the future of the bar. "Imagine my surprise when I got the call you were here." He looks up and points to the stripper poles. "They have poles to work with. That's a plus, eh mate?"
