Anabelle - Vampire & Werewolf & Witch
Page 10
To reverse the ripper state of mind, you must have the ripper awake and in need of blood. The blood feeds the vampire trapped. Preferably mate blood works more, but since mates are kind of a new thing, blood of a virgin works best.
You will also need to weaken the ripper, as the ripper is ten times stronger than the original vampire. Best to cut them up, hence the blood, the slicing spell works. Make sure there is no one around the vampire as the slicing spell will get to them. Once the ripper is weaken, say this in slow chants.
The more the better, I might add.
‘Corpus humanum est puto tation ut non bestia. Erit portum in tergum bestia anime. Prodire sinant dominum accipere.’
{Translation: The body is owned by the human, not the beast. The beast shall be harbor in the back of the mind. Allow the owner to come forth and take over.}
The owner of the body will be reverted back, make sure to be on standby once they have awaken. Losing that much blood is no good, especially for a species that depends on it.
The beast may be locked away, but they can always come out.
“Looks like you found it,” Zeke startles me.
“Yup. Good news is that we need only my blood,” I sigh.
“Bad news?”
“We need to hurt Annabelle, and I mean hurt her bad. To the point where there is no blood left in her.”
“No. Not happening!”
“We have to Zeke, otherwise she’ll be in this state for a long time. And according to your sister, she explains that the ripper eventually takes over.”
“Why do we need your blood?” Jax asks.
“Well, I am her mate, so I have been told. We can use virgin blood, but mate blood works best.”
“Damn it, so powerful yet so vulnerable. Annabelle, you owe me,” Zeke scoffs, “Ready Jax?”
“Nope, but lets do this.”
I nod, slicing my palms to pour some blood into a cup. She didn’t really say how much blood, but the standard cup can go a long way. I follow the vampires to her room, already hearing the crashing and cluttering.
“I guess we don’t have to wake her,” Anna mumbles.
“Oh she is going to be a bitch to fight,” Jax grumbles.
“Ready Anna? You’re better at pronouncing this crap than I am.”
“Let’s go.”
We open the door to find Annabelle standing in the middle where her bed is supposed to be, instead she is sitting there, her amber eyes glowing at the cup in my hand. She licks her lips, growling at it, then at the men.
“First say this spell,” I whisper to Anna, pointing at the slicing spell, “When she is punched down though.”
“Right.”
“I hear ya over there, mate. Tell me is that your blood? I told ya I would get it. Such a good mate, I wonder if it tastes better coming out of your neck,” she says with a raspy voice, getting up but she gets slammed down by Jax.
Annabelle grabs his arms and flings him to the other side. She gets up quickly, however, Zeke punches her in the gut and then kicks her sending her flying. She shakes her head, coming back but Jax holds her, then tosses her to the wall.
“Now Anna!”
“Cultris iactis sicut divisit carnem scopum,” Anna reaches out her hand and points to Annabelle.
{Translation: Just like throwing knives, cut the flesh of the target.}
Her body is then cut in multitude of angels, blood seeping through them. She screams in agony, trying to covering up her wounds. However, more and more keep appearing until she couldn’t even stand.
“Corpus humanum est puto tation ut non bestia. Erit portum in tergum bestia anime. Prodire sinant dominum accipere,” I say off slowly then I repeat, “Corpus humanum est puto tation ut non bestia. Erit portum in tergum bestia anime. Prodire sinant dominum accipere.”
The red glow in her eyes begin to fade away to her original green, her breathing getting fainter and fainter. I took this opportunity to run to her, with the cup in hand, putting her head in the nudge of my arm.
I tilt her head just a bit, letting her sip it, her eyes revert back to the ember but not a menacing ember but...like a glow. The wounds on her body begin to heal rapidly and she blinks at the same rate.
“Elijah,” she whispers, “You’re my mate.”
“I know, my love, I know,” I answer back holding her tightly.
Chapter 15
Annabelle
“Sorry about the bruising,” I say to Jax cleaning up my room, “And the destruction.”
“Its coming out of your bank account. Besides, I am always here to help. I heard that Daryl and Maggie are plotting against you and now your ex-boyfriend. It also seems that your ex boyfriend is helping them,” he sweeps up the broken glass.
“So...Anna. She’s the one?”
“Yup and like you, she is stubborn to believe it.”
“Maybe she’ll come around.”
“Maybe. Going back home?”
“Yeah, I have to do some research on those vampires and begin investigating who among the witches are with the vampires. I highly doubt any wolves are involved.”
“Nope, asked around and the wolves would love to stay away from this mess.”
“Annabelle, here’s your book. We rescued it from the deep sea,” Anna hands me one of my books. I look at the color leather, my eyes widening seeing it is volume one on black magic.
“You must used a great amount of energy to reach this bad boy. Did anyone see you?” I look at her.
“That explains why I was so exhausted after the little brawl! And no?”
“I have to hide this again. Not in the Gulf, though, I feel that someone has already pinpoint its exact location. Jax, you have another jet I can take to...somewhere in EUrope?”
“Of course. Is this must be kept a secret.”
I nod my head, giving a small smile. Elijah walks in, two cups of blood in his hands. He gives one to Jax while handing the other one to me. I smile at him, at our touch, when we connected.
“Can I know where you are going? You know...in case you go ripper mode again?” Anna hides her disgust while I drink.
“Where are you going?” Elijah asks.
“Somewhere in Europe, to hide Vol. 1 of Black Magic. I can’t let anybody find this, especially the witches who are against me. They want this book.”
“How did the find the spell to activate your gene? Shouldn’t it be in this book?”
“Maggie was one of my colleagues during the curation of black magic, since she is the first witch to be successfully turned into a vampire. We discovered the rippers after we created a spell wrong, me being the test subject. We wrote it down in the book, a book in which she made a copy. The only book in which she made a copy, well that I know of.”
“A spell gone wrong?”
“Pronunciation, the order of the spell, or even not the right ingredients. Back then, I wasn’t very fluent in Latin, my native tongue is Italian, so it was hard.”
“Well, I am going with you,” Elijah announces.
“You have your sister to take care of Elijah, I am not going to separate you from her,” I look at him.
“I am sure Danni and Zeke would be happy to oblige, besides we need to get to know each other and this is a perfect opportunity.”
“I’m doing what now?” Zeke walks in with Danni.
“Would you be up to taking care of Kenzie while Elijah and I go hide Black Magic Vol. 1?”
“Hmmmm yes, if we can stay in California. Jax?”
“Be my guest. I need to bond with my mate,” he looks lovingly at Anna.
“Not happening,” she scoffs leaving the room, “I am going to see Kenzie.”
She leaves the room, leaving Jax a little hurt, “She’ll come around. Eventually,” Zeke comforts him.
“Alright, I need to pack some things. Elijah, since you are coming with me, be prepared, I am going to train you. And go say bye to Kenzie, I don’t know how long we will be gone.”
“Yes boss,” he joke

Two days later, and a whole lot of training, Jax sent a car for Elijah and I to the airport for our flight to Spain. I didn’t tell Jax where we are going nor Elijah, so it’ll be a surprise for sure. We get out of the car while the driver puts our bags in the plane.
“You have the book?” Elijah asks grabbing my bag.
“Yup, warded and attached to me. So if someone tries to steal it, well I will know. You ready to fly?” I reply, tapping the book.
“Ready as ever.”
We board the plane, sitting in the comfy cushions of the plane. The pilot introduced himself then told us that we will be taking off in a few minutes. We settle in, me crossing my legs with the book on my knees.
“Annabelle,” Elijah scoots closer to me, “You still haven’t told me about Aldridge.”
“What a topic to kill time,” IN mock, “Where do I begin?”
“From the beginning preferably. But anywhere,” he mocks back.
“Aldridge was my first boyfriend after Jax. I broke up with Jax around the 1500’s and started dating Aldridge in 1850 something. We met in England, his father was some noble guy, always in court with Queen Victoria. His wife birthed triplets, Aldridge the oldest, Aldean, and Alvarian. Aldean is the guy I killed, such a prick always wanting to impress Aldridge.
I didn’t turn Aldridge until our fourth year anniversary. He turned 25, normally we turn people when they turn 21, but that seemed just a bit weird for me to date him at 18. When I turned him, he learned about the supernatural community through me. He asked if I can turn Aldean and Alvarian, I said no.
And that is when our relationship became a little bit rockier. I wasn’t ready to tell him that I am all three species I just told him I am a vampire. Then he found out who I am and he was furious, he wanted to be exactly like me.”
Flashback.
“You just told me you were a vampire, not this rare breed. Why love, why?” Aldridge slams his fists on the wooden table, breaking it in the process.
“I was going to tell you but your obsession with power told me to stay away. Tell me, at what length would you do to gain a witches or werewolves ability?” I equally slam my fists on the counter.
“Don’t you dare raise your voice at me woman,” he growls at me.
“I can do whatever the fuck I want,” I replied back crossing my arms, “And my name is Annabelle. And we are done.”
I proceed to leave the kitchen, but his rough calloused hands grab my arms, pulling me towards him. He grabs my chin roughly, pointing it at him, “Love, you are not going anywhere. You are going to make me like you.”
“Parietis clavam,” I say through my clenched teeth, “habeo.”
{Translation: Pin against the wall, hold}
“You will never be me or be like me. You will be useless, powerless, and defenseless against me. You think you can hide things from me? No. So don’t even try to surprise me when you send your brothers after me, I know that they have turned. You did it without my blessing, fine. You crossed the line when you try to control me, so we are done. If you try to find me, I will make your life a living hell. You understand that, love?”
He looks up at me, struggling to do so, “Love, I will find you and make your life a living hell. We can play this game. Be sure to send the divorce papers.”
“Already did,” I reach for the papers underneath the drawer.
“Ha, you were planning to leave. I won’t sign the papers.”
“I will make you, love,” I set the papers down, pen next to it. It wasn’t easy to get the vatican’s approval but compulsion does some good. I walk up to him, looking him dead in the eyes, “You will sign this pen without hesitation. If you do hesitate, stab yourself with the coated vervain pen.”
I release my grip on him, he falls on the floor. He gets up and walks over to the papers, signing them. Before he could do anything, I snap my fingers and the papers disappear.
“I am just a tad bit faster, Aldridge. Nunc vado ad somnum,” I say to his face. He falls to the floor, sleeping peacefully.
“Since then he always holds this grudge. I should have known before, but I fell in love,” I sigh looking at the moving clouds.
“All to be you?” Elijah soothes my hand.
“Yeah, just to be me. Sometimes I wish I wasn’t even here, non existent.”
“Then you will never meet me! Annabelle, I want to call you love but I feel like you are used to that, but Annabelle, I won’t be like that you know that I won’t.”
“I hardly know you.”
“Annabelle, babe, come on. I am pretty much an open book. You know that I like you very very much, you know that I am a witch, you know that I am good guy. And you know that I know that you like me too.”
“Don’t be so cocky now,” I joke.
“Well, Annabelle,” he gets up closing in to my face, “You know that we both feel sparks when we do this.”
His lips are placed on my, moving in slow rhythms. I move forward towards him, straddling on his lap, moving my lips in rhythm with him. I felt his hands moving up and down my back, trying to comfort me. My hands reach behind his neck, pulling him close.
“You feel the sparks right,” Elijah breaks the kiss, put still pulling light kisses on my jawline.
“Of course,” I whisper.
“This is your captain speaking, we are arriving in Madrid, landing in two minutes. Please fasten your seatbelts,” the captain says through intercom.
“Spain?” He raises an eyebrow.
“Si, and I know you are going to love it.”
I get off of him, leaving a kiss, and buckling up. We descended and eventually stopped on the tarmac. The captain comes out, telling us we have arrived at night and that there is a car waiting for us to drive us to our hotel.
“Thank you,” I say leaving the plane.
“Maybe we can finish what we started in the plane,” Elijah whispers in my ears.
That sends a shock of adrenaline through my body, my core starting to ache, “How about a date then a maybe.”
“You’re not as evil as you pegged yourself to be,” he puts in the suitcases in the trunk of the car.
“Somehow with you I have to be gentle or I’ll scare you. But trust me, I don’t hold up easily.”
“Okay, Annabelle.”
Elijah
I felt Annabelle shake me awake, I get up dazed at our location. I must have fallen asleep while riding to the hotel, after making out with my...girlfriend? Are we together?
“Elijah, hurry,” I hear Annabelle say as she grabs our luggages handing them to the bellboy.
“That’s supposed to be my job,” I yawned, getting out the vehicle.
“I can handle it thank you very much. Come on let’s check in.”
I follow Annabelle through the glass doors and to the concierge’s desk, awaiting for our room keys. I felt someone’s presence walking by, menacing and cold. I turn to look just to see a walking crowd of tourists and workers.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see a black figure huddle by the entrance of the bar. When I look at it, it disappeared. I am guess that we are not alone or that we are being followed.
We went into the elevator, pressing the 5th floor, waiting in silence. We went inside of our room, two separate beds which causes me to frown.
“You don’t like it,” Annabelle asks putting the book underneath a pillow.
“Why the separate beds?” I ask out of annoyance.
“Because we aren’t together?”
“But aren’t we?”
“We are?”
“I mean I haven’t asked you officially but making out and basically saying we like each other means we are dating.”
“I think we need a few more dates. I want to take it slow because I don’t want to ruin it, Elijah. Relax, I can ask for a new room accommodation.”
“We are going to dinner tomorrow, after we hide the book. You and me.”
“Okay, boss you got it. Tell me, d
id you feel someone lurking over you?”
“I did. Why? Did you?”
“Yup. But they are not from this dimension, I have a feeling it’s a witch trying to contact one of us. Get some rest while I study up. You’re going to need it for tomorrow.”
“Aren’t you going to bed?”
“We don’t sleep Elijah, we rest but we don’t sleep. Don’t worry, I’ll be right here in this room,” she walks over to me, then plants a deep passionate kiss, “I’ll cuddle with you until you fall asleep,” she whispers in my ear.
“Please do,” I smile back.
Chapter 16
Annabelle
I left Elijah in a deep sleep, it’s funny how a man can sleep through a lot of noise that was coming from the outside. It was the peak of dusk, the sun barely grazing the horizon, five o’clock in the morning in Spain.
Only I had to know where I am going to hide this book. Besides, if or when we truly are together, I will tell him at least where this book is hidden. But then again, shouldn’t he come with me? I mean I am going to tell him anyway, right?
No, if he knew then everybody else will know.
But he will get hurt that I didn’t trust him with this knowledge.
“Liber ut sequeretur,” I whisper, placing my hands of the book.
{Translation: Keep the book grounded}
That way the book stays firmly in its place unless touched by my hands, the owner. I already place the blood spell over it, thinking I should add Elijah’s but I don’t want to get too ahead of myself.
I sneak out of the room at this ungodly hour for some, for me, it was an extended night especially when the sun is too lazy to rise. I head down to the lobby, out the hotel in search of a blood bank or a hospital. Although my throat burns for Elijah’s blood, I can’t him to just give it to me, we need to trust one another.
And I trust him, the person I don’t trust is myself.
Making my way out to the streets, the ghostly figure that I felt yesterday returns, following my every move. The figure must not know that I know since it continues to follow me despite my best efforts to run away.
I find myself standing at the doorstep of a small blood bank, not as busy as it looked to be. I walk up the little old lady at the front desk, her head perking up and smiling.
