The Soul That Redeems Me (The Forever Mine Series Book 3) Page 21

by H. J. Marshall

Dr. Sawyer and I were trying to not laugh at the finality of it all as we took long steps, trying to keep up with Emily. She really was pissed off and now she seems to be floating out of the prison, a skip in her step. Her tiny steps were quick as less than ten minutes after we walked into the prison, we walked out.

I picked her up as soon as we got into the parking lot and spun her around, peppering her face with kisses as she laughed, her head thrown back, her beautiful face looking up into the sky.

“I guess I wasn’t needed after all.” Dr. Sawyer laughs, as I set Emily down on her feet and link my hands with hers.

“I’m glad you were here anyway. You never can tell.” Emily shrugged before she started giggling again. “So, back home?” she smiled up at me as I leaned down and kissed her gently, placing my forehead against hers.

“I have a surprise for you.” I winked as I took her hand and got into the car, Dr. Sawyer already behind the wheel, her GPS giving directions to the airport.

As we pulled up on the tarmac, Emily was bouncing in her seat, her joy contagious. We got out of the car and Emily reached through the driver’s window. She hugged Dr. Sawyer, who whispered something into Emily’s ear that had her blushing as she winked at me and drove away.

I took Emily by the hand and walked toward the plane, the MSJ Media logo on the side. Jason loaned us the plane for a week and made arrangement for us to have private lodging when we arrived. I hoped Emily was as excited as I was about this trip, even though I was excited for an entirely different reason than she was.

“Where are we going?” Emily asked as we walked up the stairs and found our way into the empty jet. Seats lined the outer walls of the plane, a soft tan leather covering oversized chairs and couches. I winked at her as the flight attendant helped us get settled and brought us a glass of champagne before we took to the air.

After we were at cruising altitude, I pulled out the small leather journal that we had put our life lists in. Opening the book to her list, I showed her what she wrote, “Guess.” I joked, looking at the over two hundred different things she wanted to do.

She kept adding things to the list and I was determined to mark everyone off the list, even if it took me a hundred years.

“I don’t know. There are so many.” She remarked, chewing on her lip as she started to flip to my list and I stopped her, taking the book, and placing it on the seat next to me. I had added to mine as well and I didn’t want her to see if, quite yet.

Unhooking her seat belt, I lifted her small body into my lap, her legs straddling mine as she leaned down and kissed me. Pulling back, I whispered, “You feel like trying to find Atlantis?” joking at the silliness of it, hoping she would figure it out, without actually telling her where we were going.

Her eyebrows pulled in for a moment before s huge smile broke out across her face, “Bimini? We’re going to Bimini? To swim the road? Really?!” She squealed, her curvy body bouncing on my quickly hardening dick.

I silenced her with a kiss, feeling her smile throughout the embrace. She settled with her head on my chest as I rubbed her back, pecking a kiss on top of her head until I felt her breathing even out and her body relaxed, sleep finally taking over.

Her insomnia had returned but instead of being anxious all night, she channeled her frustrations and lack of sleep into the new additions to the Literacy Program. We officially had an outline, along with corporate sponsors, to fully fund the food pantries in all six cities we currently worked in. There were also plans to hire social workers and counselors within the next six months, allowing more outreach in the communities. She wanted to make sure no one fell through the cracks and allowed life to beat them

The flight took about three hours and I woke her shortly before we arrived over the island. I wanted her to see all the sights of the tropical paradise and hopefully, an overhead of the famous Bimini Road. Her head was on a swivel through the window as we touched down on the extremely short runway.

The sight of downed planes near the airport, pushed into the jungle was a little unnerving but I had faith in the pilots of Jason’s jet and told them we would see them in a week. After going through customs, we took a taxi to the north side of the island, the private house Jason booked for us situated right along the water’s edge.

Getting out, I realized this was the perfect place for our life list item. We walked into the rustic house, full windows overlooking the softly rolling waters on one side, a view of the green foliage and lush tropical trees surrounding the other three. The dark wood mimicked the trees and the house seemed to fade into the landscape.

Setting our luggage down, I spun Emily around and picked her up and I walked toward the glass windows facing the ocean and gently placed her against it, her legs wrapping around my waist as I ravaged her mouth. She began to move her hips, the sundress pushing up around her waist as her small, panty-covered pussy encountered my stiffening cock.

“I’m so damn proud of you, baby. Your strength amazes me. I love you so much,” I whispered as I allow my mouth to nip her chin, kissing her neck below her ear as I worked my way down her shoulder, pulling the strap to her sundress down with my teeth as her pert breast fell from the offending dress.

“I love you too. I need you, Josh.” She moaned against my mouth.

I set her down on wobbly feet, pulled her sundress over her head and picked her back up as I slid the back door open, the salt air swirling around us. I walked out onto the deck, mere feet from the secluded, private beach and sat down on the chaise lounge facing the ocean, Emily perched over my throbbing erection. I leaned down and sucked a pebbled nipple into my mouth as she pulled my hair, her moans sounding into the retreating sun-filled sky.

I released the bud with a pop as I feel her small hand begin to pull my t-shirt off and I reached down to unbuckle my pants. I lift my ass, her small body riding up as I pull my pants and boxers off before settling back into the soft lounger. Emily tried to stand to remove her lacy panties but I reach down and snap one side, then the other before flinging the wasted material over my shoulder.

She pushed me down as she attacked my mouth, her tongue darting and chasing mine as her hands roam down my abs and her hand wrapped around my throbbing length. I felt her lift her ass up as she slipped the head of my cock between her drenched folds, gathering moisture before she slowly began to sink down my length.

We both moan as she fully seated herself on my cock, her velvet walls pulsing around my length as I plucked her nipples and whispered words of love into the air. Her hips slid back as she planted her feet on the ground and she put her hands on my chest, kissing my tattoo before she stood up, leaving just the tip in before she fell back down on my cock, impaling herself.

A growl sounds in my throat, the sheer pleasure coursing through my veins at the sight of her riding my stiff cock, her juices glistening in the approaching moonlight as her heads fell back, her movements becoming erratic.

Placing my hands on her hips, I helped her ride me until I felt her walls begin to squeeze me. I took the opportunity to flip us, her small body on the chaise as I pulled her legs up, knees on her chest and plunge my cock into her wetness over and over. I see her shaking and feel her pussy clamp down on my length, fighting to keep me inside her as she came with an intensity unlike ever before.

“Oh God, Josh! Yes! Yes! Yes!” she chanted as her body bowed up, her wetness coating my cock and running down my balls.

I drove into her, feeling the ripples and jerks of her orgasms deep within her pussy when I finally allowed the release I had been denying myself since the moment her wet lips touched my Prince Albert piercing. The sex with piercings is mind-blowing, but since I have only experienced it with Emily, maybe it’s just the explosive chemistry between the two of us that makes it so amazing.

I allowed myself to fall forward, releasing her legs as they wrap around my back, her hands rubbing up and down my spine, the relaxing sounds of the waves lulling me into slumber. I felt her kiss my h
ead, a familiar greeting between us and I lifted my heavy eyes hers. The love shining through her, flowing into me had me putting my head down, her breasts cushioning me as I felt the first tears escape my eyes, rolling onto her breasts.

“Josh, are you okay?” Emily asked me as I tried to gather my composure. I had never felt a love so all-consuming, and I didn’t know what I had done to deserve such an amazing woman to love me.

Looking up at her, I smiled a watery smile as I looked into her glistening eyes, still unable to articulate how much I loved her.

“Oh,” she replied to me, as she gazed into my eyes, no words uttered. No words were enough to explain how two completely broken people could find each other and complete each other so perfectly.

I sat us up and picked Emily up, bridal-style and carried her into the house, finding the king-sized bed and placing her gently on top of the blankets. I pecked her on the nose and went to retrieve the small box from my luggage. I pulled on a pair of shorts, not wanting to tell anyone I was naked when I asked her the most important question of our lives.

I found her sitting up in bed, the thin blanket wrapped around her, her pert nipples poking through the material. I sat down next to her, taking her hand into mine.

“From the first touch of your skin against mine, I was done for. My soul knew it found its mate and I tried to fight it. To give you the space you needed to grow and live your life. I gave you my heart, willingly, in the hopes that one day, you would love me as much as I loved you. When you walked back into my life, I knew I would do anything to make you mine.

“The day you uttered the words back to me, I knew I would spend the rest of my life giving you so much love, you would never wonder how much you I cared for you. You deserve a love as big as the ocean and as bright as the stars in the sky.

“I don’t know what I did to deserve you but I promise I will show you every day how much you mean to me, how much I cherish you, how much I love you. Emily, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” Tears fell down her beautiful face as I opened the tiny box and showed her the ring Caroline and Maddie help me pick out last month.

Inside was a platinum setting, holding a two-carat, cushion cut jade green and royal blue fire opal, small white iridescent opals wrapping around the stone. Emily knows how common diamonds are and had remarked how if someone wanted to show how much they loved someone, they would get them fire opals, not diamonds, due to their rarity. I took her words to heart and found a small jeweler in downtown who carried some exquisite pieces. I only had him change out the setting, wanting the platinum setting over the yellow gold.

Her hands covered her mouth as she nodded her head, tears continuing to fall, “Yes!” My heart took flight at her answer.

Placing the ring on her trembling hand, I pulled her into a hug, our tears mixing as I placed my cheek against hers and whispered into her ear, “I will love you forever.”

  “Forever isn’t long enough.”

We fell asleep in each other’s arms, the cool salty breeze coming through the open patio doors, the sound of the ocean lulling us into slumber. We woke the next morning as the sun broke the horizon and I rolled on top of her, “Good morning Mrs. Kennedy.” A twinkle in her eyes at the mention of her new name.

I didn’t need a piece of paper to know, in my heart, Emily was already my wife. Now and forever.

Walking through life, you stumble and sometimes, you fall. Your ability to handle the falls and get up to start walking again is a testament to character and determination.

Emily fell, rose like a phoenix from the ashes, and shines brighter than the sun. Luck and fate brought us together, and love will follow us throughout our loves, paving our path to eternity.
