In Her Company_A Reverse Harem Apocalyptic Romance Page 13

“Stop! You two are gonna kill me.” Jack sat up and shoved Cody off. Then he grabbed the condom and flipped Indie on her back. “I’m in charge now, darlin’.” He ripped the packet open, and the condom flew onto the pillow.

“Are you?” She picked up the latex circle and rose to her knees to kiss him while rolling the condom down his stiff erection.

He laughed on her lips. “Take me on, sweetheart.” He wrapped his arms around her waist, and she gave him a slight nudge, tumbling on top of him.

She climbed on his straining erection and rode him. He let her take control, and she braced her hands on the padded headboard bolted to the wall while he held her hips, guiding her thrusts. Jack, the second man she’d fucked tonight, and with any luck, not the last. When had she ever indulged like this? Never. Not one of them judged her, so she refused to do it too. Instead, she focused on the moment. Jack’s fingers digging into her flesh, his mouth on her nipple, her thighs clenched around him. God, yes!

“I’m not gonna last.” Jack pounded into her. “Eli will have to finish you.” With those words, Jack’s eyes rolled back in his head and he exploded harder and hotter than she’d hoped for.

Indie collapsed on his heaving chest, her body buzzing for more.

His arms circled her and squeezed tight as his lips brushed her ear. “Thank you for including him.”

She knew he meant Cody, but it could apply to any of their company. Included. That’s what this is about. She smiled and kissed him as a hand touched her shoulder. Eli.

Jack stood, rolling her to the bed as he moved to take Eli’s place on the desk. He and Cody exchanged grins, then settled back to watch.

Eli sank to the bed, sweeping Indie under him in one smooth move, kissing her neck and muttering words she didn’t understand. Then he spoke in English, his words hot on her skin. “Those amateurs got off quick and left you hanging.” Her lips parted to argue, but he kissed her, catching her breast in his hand. “But we’re going to take this nice and slow, let it simmer.”

He planted his knees and shifted forward, not entering her, the condom packet still clutched in his hand, but skimming his cock over her clit as proof of concept. “Ow.” Eli grimaced and sat up.

“Did I hurt you?” Indie leaned up on her elbows and spotted a dark bruise flowering across his ribs. Ow, indeed.

“No, damn it.” He grunted, but pulled her close, gritting his teeth. “I can do this.”

Indie bit back a laugh. “We’ll have to get creative.” She thought about riding him like she’d done to Jack, but clamping his ribs between her thighs might hurt him worse. He couldn’t get on top, obviously, but maybe if she turned around.

A soft moan carried over her shoulder as she turned and rubbed her backside against his erection. She rose on her knees, willing to bend over and let him take her like a dog if he wanted, but his hands came around and stroked up and down the front of her body. He knelt behind her, fitting her against him while he caressed her breasts.

“Creative like this?” Eli slipped his leg between her thighs and nudged them apart. His finger slid down to sink between her wet lips.

“Yes.” She sighed and slid her hands behind his head, stretching her body and trapping his cock between them while he nibbled her shoulder. “Does it hurt?”

He muttered something in another language—French?—then translated. “Not at all.” His erection bobbed between her thighs, and she picked up the condom he’d dropped on the bed. While she rolled it on him, he dragged his hand up her body, fingers splayed, to curl around her neck. “Do you trust me?” He breathed the words hot and ragged in her ear.

Of course. None of her men had done anything to cause her worry. But what if she played with him? “Should I?”

“No.” The hand at her throat slid to her back and Eli shoved her up against the padded headboard.

“Oh!” The violent action forced the word from her lips, and she struggled to breathe as he pinned her from behind. The orgasm Jack had stirred rolled to a boil, barely contained.

Eli forced her legs apart with his knees and took her hard, crushed against the headboard. “Shit!”

She knew the curse masked his pain but didn’t dare protest. Didn’t want to protest. She curled her fingers into the padding, fighting to stay upright while he pounded into her. Punishing blows, sparking thrusts. God, if he did that one more time she was going to–oh yes! “Fuck! Don’t stop.”

“Not even if it kills me.” Eli drew out slowly, teasing her as he slid his wet cock up and over her ass cheeks.

Indie mashed her face into the headboard and whimpered. “Inside, I need it inside.”

“I know what you need.” He reached around and rubbed her clit with his thumb.

She came apart, crumbling into him as he drove into her. The pounding resumed, hard and fast, boiling over unchecked. Eli grunted and swore in multiple languages while Indie giggled, having no idea why. Release, pure and simple. She’d needed it, and they’d given it to her.

They both tumbled to the bed as Austin and Jack crawled up beside them. Indie propped herself up on an elbow and inspected Eli’s injury. “Are you in pain?”

A goofy grin erased the wince she’d caused when she touched him. “Not now, but I’m gonna feel it in the morning.”

Austin laughed, and Indie slapped his shoulder.

Cody still sat on the dresser, and she reached for him. “Now?” If he refused her again, she might have to march over there and yank his pants to his ankles. That confined erection had to be painful.

“No.” A slight sheen of perspiration coated his skin, but unlike the other guys, he hadn’t exerted himself.

Indie’s heart sank, but not from his blunt rejection. This isn’t about me. He’s sick. But she refused to dwell on the implications and faked a smile. “Next time.”

He nodded, but his smile didn’t quite reach his eyes.

She checked the other men for signs of infection. They were all breathing hard and soaked with sweat, but that could be attributed to their sexual escapade. Or fever. Shivers ran down her spine, but she knew she couldn’t be infected. Dear God, she’d killed them all.

  Chapter 15

  CODY

Cody hated saying no, but he didn’t have the strength to fuck her right, especially after watching what Eli had done to her. Damn. He’d nearly come in his pants during that show.

“Jesus, Cody, you’re turning her down again?” Jack scowled at him.

He glanced at Indie, hoping she’d know his refusal had nothing to do with her and everything to do with him. Her haunted eyes told him that and more. “I want her all to myself.”

  Austin snorted. “He’s shy.”

Eli shook his head. “There’s no such thing as privacy in the Army.”

True. They’d all seen each other naked for one reason or another. Usually by accident, but sometimes intentionally. Sometimes more than seeing.

“I’m not shy.” Cody shifted, trying to disguise the uprising in his pants. “I just prefer not to show off my sexual prowess in public.”

Austin rolled his eyes. “Cody’s got a small dick.”

“No, he doesn’t.” Jack’s deadpan expression left no doubt he knew from experience.

Eli and Austin laughed, clearly undisturbed by their companions’ intimate knowledge of each other’s anatomy.

“Ooo, I’d love to see that.” Indie sat up and snuggled back against Jack.

Austin reached over and caressed her bare leg. “Cody’s micro penis?”

“No, Cody and Jack’s…” She paused and her eyes sparkled, apparently searching for the right word while delighted by the possibilities. “Guy sex.”

Jack leaned over and nibbled her shoulder. “We don’t have sex, we just…”

“Have a good time.” Cody finished his sentenced. No one needed an explanation, least of all him.

Indie slid her hand along Jack’s jawline into his hair. “Still a must see.” She kissed him, then turned and smile
d at Cody.

He’d spent the evening watching her have sex with his best friends without a twinge of jealousy. In fact, his eager cock still wanted to come out and play even though he’d told it and everyone else in the room no. Letting her watch him with Jack seemed like a fair exchange.

But not tonight. Austin had pulled the covers back, and Jack helped Indie crawl under them. The three guys lumbered into the big bed with her, limbs sprawling, pillows piled high. Jack scooted over and made space for Cody, but he hesitated. Hell, they’d all seen him lick the man’s dick, had known about their connection for a while, so sleeping beside him should be no big deal.

Hot sweat trickled down the back of his neck, sending a bone deep chill through his extremities. Getting close to anyone right now seemed like a monumentally bad idea.

Austin snored, and Indie’s eyes drifted shut. Eli braced his foot on the floor and settled in, pulling the sheet up to cover all of them. Jack shot Cody one last glare then switched the lamp off.

Cody crept into the adjoining room and closed the door, finding a mirror image of the one he’d left. He turned the lights off and crawled into the bed by himself, unzipping the too tight pants in a hurry and rubbing one out in the dark while biting his lip so no one would hear him vent his frustration. Ahh…much better. Maybe his brain would work now.

Why hadn’t he taken the opportunity to fuck the doctor? He probably wouldn’t live to see next time. She was immune to the Scarlet Infection, so a quick ride on his joystick wouldn’t hurt her. But damn it, he wanted more even if he didn’t have time to go deep.

A faint beam of light streaked across the floor as the adjoining door silently swung open. “Cody?”

Of course, Indie had come looking for him. Too bad he’d already expelled his need. “Over here.” He patted the bed.

She closed the door and fumbled over to him in the dark. “Are you all right?”

Cody coughed, then swallowed the salty tang of blood. Damn it. He’d trembled while watching her make love with his friends but thought—hoped—it was exhaustion or excitement, but knowing that wasn’t it at all. “Yeah.”

Even in the dark, he could feel her perceptive glare. “So that line about wanting me to yourself was…?”

“Absolutely true.” He reached over and switched on the bedside lamp, wanting her to see he had nothing else to hide. After his eyes adjusted to the light, he took her hand, lacing his fingers with hers. Holy shit, she’s still naked. The confession he’d intended to make nearly fizzled, but he managed to hang on to the gist of it. “Women have always gotten the wrong idea about me.”

She’d been stroking his leg, inching her way toward his open zipper, then stopped when he spoke. “What idea?”

“That I’m here for a good time, not a long time.” Not that he’d ever done anything to prove them wrong. Life had always felt too short to spend with one person. And now that his life had an impending expiration date, he wanted more.

“That’s what you said about Jack.”

“Yeah.” Let’s open this can of worms too. “He’s complicated. Until him, I’d never…with a guy. But I like it. I like him.” He’d never gotten attached to anyone before, but Jack drew him in, and they stuck. Life would never be long enough to figure that out. “Does that make sense?”

  “Yes, it does.”

The hand on his leg moved again, and his desire for her sparked. What the fuck? How could any of this work? “But I like you too, and I–”

Indie pressed against him, crushing her bare breasts on his arm as her mouth touched his. His cock stiffened, recovering with a swiftness he hadn’t experienced since high school. He tangled his fingers in her hair and slipped his tongue between her lips, flirting with her mouth while she curled into him.

She pushed back a space. “I was a little worried when you said no.” Her smile lit the room, and her kiss melted his heart.

Well, shit. None of this had to make sense as long as he made them happy. Indie, Jack. The other guys too. They could all work. If they had the time.

A hot tickle formed at the back of his throat, and he pulled away, searching for an excuse. “You know we left the condoms in the other room.” But he made no move to retrieve them.

She moaned when he cupped her breast, the nipple pebbling against his palm. “No magic tricks? You’re not going to pull one from behind my ear?”

“Not this time.” He lost his grip on her breast, exhaustion suddenly draining him. “Sleep with me?”

  Indie quirked an eyebrow.

“No, I mean really, literally. Sleep in my arms tonight. I’ve never done that with anyone before.” Not even Jack.

She smiled and crawled under the covers while he took off those blasted uncomfortable pants. The erection resurrection had been short-lived, and she was in no danger of a quickie dick slip.

Cody pulled Indie close, inhaling her warm soap scent and losing his fears in her lush softness. He could die tonight in the arms of this doctor, a woman he craved but hadn’t fucked. Damn it. He’d always known he’d die with regrets, but he never thought he’d regret something he’d never done.

Bliss enveloped him, a floating warmth that soothed his soul while he waited for the inevitable cold to send him crashing down.

Cody had just closed his eyes when he woke to sunlight smacking him in the face and jarring blows shaking the mattress beneath him. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. Indie woke too, dragging the curve of her ass against his hip as she rolled over. He’d lived through the night.

“Get up, lazy.” Jack kicked the bed again, fully dressed in his fatigues with a hopeful scowl that only he could muster. “We’re getting out of here.”

  ELI

Eli smiled as Jack led Indie and Cody into the room. Indie’s hair spilled over her shoulders as she fumbled with the belt on her robe, covering up the luscious flesh she’d blessed them all with last night. Fucking her had taxed his slowly healing ribs, but he wouldn’t trade the pain for all the cannabis at that death party. She blinked up at him and smiled back, a fleeting curve as she caught sight of the men gathered around the desk, staring down at a map Eli had drawn with the hotel’s pen and paper.

Cody found his fatigues strewn on the bed and got dressed while Indie pulled on clothes from one of the abandoned suitcases, a bright sundress that skimmed the tops of her thighs and stretched tight over her chest. Sandals with too much heel for the trek they’d have to endure. The getup made her look like a college coed. She put her lab coat on and morphed into Dr. Indiana Jones. “What’s going on?”

“We can’t stay here and die.” Eli squelched a shiver as he recalled the conversation he’d had with Jack and Austin earlier this morning after Jack’s coughs had woken them up. They’d discovered they were all naked and their shared female had apparently snuck off with the young sergeant. Something had to be done about that. “We’re going to try escaping again.”

“Only this time we’ll be more subtle.” Jack grunted at Cody.

Cody snorted as he tied his boots. “That snowplow was badass.”

“And effective.” Austin smiled. “But it drew too much attention. Lieutenant Cobb says he knows a way out.”

“And you’re just telling us now?” Indie’s eyes widened.

He’d known that was coming. He’d already deflected Jack and Austin’s interrogation. Cody narrowed his eyes too. The young man had turned pale, obviously getting weak. Eli sighed. He should’ve said something sooner, but despair and last night’s distraction had gotten in the way. He attempted to offer an explanation. “I was in charge of sealing the quarantine from the inside, poking holes in the perimeter and shutting them down. But I left one open. Just in case I needed it.”

“Why didn’t you tell us this sooner?” Austin repeated the query he’d directed at him earlier with increased venom.

Eli gritted his teeth. “My job, my duty to this country, was to keep people in.” Keep the virus in. Keep everyone safe.

“And now?” Jack coughed.

Coughs wracked Cody, and he barely stayed on his feet. A faint sheen of sweat glowed on Austin’s forehead. Chills crept down Eli’s spine. No one is safe. Not as long as Dr. Jones remained trapped with the dying. “And now she needs to get out.”

She reached for him, laying his hand on her sleeve as her eyes softened. “We need to get out.”

Eli shook his head. “I doubt any of us will live through this.”

“I refuse to believe that.” Her lower lip quivered, and her voice cracked.

Austin stepped up and pressed his hand on Indie’s shoulder as he focused on Eli. “How do you intend to get her out?”

“There’s a tunnel the runs from Denver to the Air Force Academy and NORAD in Colorado Springs.” Eli picked up the pen and drew on his map. “It’s there to evacuate the president or other government officials in an emergency.”

“That’s a myth.” Austin shook his head.

“That’s what they want you to believe.” Eli smiled. “Only high-level security clearance knows about it.”

“And your clearance is higher than mine?”

“That’s classified.” Eli couldn’t help a snicker when the major rolled his eyes. “Since few people know where the tunnel entrance is, and only one of them is inside the quarantine,” he paused to let that sink in, “I didn’t seal it up.”

“No guards?” Jack shot him a hopeful glare.

“No guards, no fence. Just the usual security measures.”

“Which you can work around.” Austin nodded. “How far to the entrance?”

“Closer than I thought.” Eli strode to the window and shoved the curtains aside. “I didn’t notice where we were until the sun came up.”
