Fierce as the Wind

I’m still racing. I always will be.
Acknowledgments
This book truly required a #supportcrew. I would like to thank:
My agent, Lucy Carson.
My editors, Wendy Lamb and Dana Carey, and everyone else at Random House Children’s Books for their wonderful work on my novel.
My family, for their support.
My friends at American University Library, for their patience.
I would particularly like to thank Mom, Jeff, Dad, Sally, and Ethan for their service as race Sherpas.
Rikesh, Ruth, Ethan, and Mom for reading drafts and providing feedback. Dudley for carrying the wake-up-call banner.
Finally, a special thank-you to Ironman volunteers the world over. I’d give each of you a red wristband if I could. And to my fellow triathletes, who inspire me every day.
