  I groaned. “I was hoping you might find a friend to go with you. Maybe Sam or Bob?”

  He shook his head. “The couple that fishes together stays together. I can’t wait until the weather warms up a little so I can try this baby out.”

  I chuckled. Cade might look like a city slicker in the suits he wore for work, but he was an outdoorsman at heart. I wasn’t sure I wanted to be an outdoorswoman with him, but I had an idea that I was probably going to be, whether I wanted to or not. It was fine though. Any time I got to spend with him was wonderful.
