“They’re pretty convenient aren’t they?” he asked as he led her down the aisle of tents towards his own.
Adelaide’s only response was to roll her eyes at him. As she glanced around her, she noticed that only a fraction of the structures that were up when she was around were still there. The vampire force was preparing for the end of the war. “If you ask me, the whole thing is disgusting.” She replied.
Constantine let out a dark chuckle as he stopped in front of a tent and pulled the flap back so that she step inside. Adelaide noted how strange the whole place looked without a bed. Instead of that, the center-piece of the room was a kind of large, circular settee covered in black and gray fur. She had her own personal vanity on the front wall, completely with her own mirror and a strange set of makeup. A simple-looking armoire stood in the back corner of the room, marked with her name.
“Watch your mouth, or I’ll put you with the prisoners.” He replied.
Adelaide bit her lip. “How long have you known about this alliance?” she whispered.
He shrugged as he closed the flap behind her. “You’d be surprised how quickly you can move when you don’t have to sleep.” He replied.
Adelaide nodded. “I guess that makes sense.”
Constantine made his way to her in a flash, hugging her from behind. Her spine tingled as he pressed his nose into her neck and took his big waft of her scent. “I can’t believe how much I’ve missed you.” He whispered.
Adelaide didn’t know what it was, but she instantly felt on fire for him. She didn’t want to admit the fact that she wasn’t entirely dreading the prospect of sleeping with him again. “Oh really?” she asked.
He turned her around so that they were facing each other.
Adelaide rested her head on his chest. He smelt of metal and of rain and grass. She was just too tired to fight… way too tired. “I can’t do this.” she whispered.
He tilted her chin up to face him. “Where is the fire I saw in my little fallen angel? Where are you Adelaide?”
She didn’t know how to respond. He was her captor, not her lover and she hated how he was trying so hard to blur those lines. “With the love of my life.”
He chuckled at this. The sound filling her head. “There is no winning you is there? I ended a war for you.”
Adelaide blushed. She couldn’t believe such kind words could come from his dead lips.
His eyes widened at this. “See, there it is. You’re smiling with your eyes.” He whispered as he kissed her on the cheek.
Adelaide sucked in a deep breath. “Wow.” She whispered at the chill that went down her spine. She could feel herself melting into him.
“Now kiss me.” He breathed. Without waiting for a response, he pressed his lips against hers. He slid his hands down her torso, exploring her body with his fingers. Adelaide could feel her life force brimming underneath the surface. She wanted him. Against her better judgement, against her own moral disgust, she wanted him more than she’d ever wanted another creature.
Almost of their own accord, her wings fanned out to either side of her. Her energy slipped through her fingers as she pressed her hands against his chest and pushed him against the settee and mounted him. It felt so good not to think for once. Before she could make herself comfortable, he flipped her over, lying on top of her and ripping her shirt open. Her heart fluttered in her chest as she deftly unbuttoned his shirt, effortlessly peeling off of his shirt and throwing it off the bed. He gazed down at her. “Oh you are exquisite.” He mumbled as he kissed every inch of her body from the tip of her chin down to her waist. Once he reached jeans, he unbuttoned them.
Adelaide moaned at the titillated release of pressure. She clutched at the fur as he peeled off her pants and discarded them on the floor. At the sight of her red underwear, he smiled. “You women wear so much clothing.” He murmured right before he licked her vulva through her panties.
Adelaide let out a low moan, wondering to herself how anything could feel so good. She grabbed his head and pulled him up to her face. “I’m not a woman. I’m an angel.” She hiss before she kissed him.
He sneered at this. “Oh God yes you are.” He replied as Adelaide sat up and unbuttoned his pants, pulling them down until his bulge was exposed. She grasped his penis with her hand, rubbing it as he reached down and massaged her breasts. Without thinking anything of it, she put it in her mouth, reveling at how it began to throb with the flick of her tongue. He thrust it deeper into her mouth until he was ramming it into the back of her throat over and over again. Adelaide grasped at the muscles of his legs, taking pleasure in how they trembled with ecstasy.
“I have to have you now…..” the words practically sounded like a whimper coming out of his mouth.
Adelaide couldn’t help but to laugh at this as he ripped her panties off of her. She felt exposed and free as she lied there naked in his bed of fur. He mounted her, planting kiss after kiss on her neck and chest, massaging her nipples with fingers. Just when she thought the teasing might just kill her, he penetrated her. With that initial thrust Adelaide started climbing towards orgasm at an impossible speed. “Oh.” She breathed as he repeatedly rammed himself into her with all of his strength. She dug her fingers into his back, her skin gleaming in the dim lighting as her Energy brimmed just under the surface. In the next moment, she had flipped him over and was on top of him, her wings fanned as she rode him with everything in her.
He grunted with pleasure as she dug her knees into his torso and slapped her fists against his chest. Her body flew up and down almost of its own accord and it was the only time she felt like she was flying without actually flying. Every part of her body had been reduced to that space in between her legs where they touched.
She gasped as he slammed her into the bed, flipping her around and thrusting hard into her. Her head slammed against the back barrier of the tent, over and over again, but all she could feel was the building tension in between her legs. Just when she thought she might actually transcend her body, she felt him speed up, entering and leaving her so quickly that she could hardly tell the difference. He was traveling through her at super human speed and the titillating result gave her orgasm after orgasm until finally, he came.
They collapsed onto the bed, where Adelaide slept for the rest of the afternoon.

At nightfall, her eyes flipped open to the sound of a female voice and quick steps fast approaching the tent. She scrambled to cover herself with the fur she was lying on top of and only just managed to achieve this before a tall, gorgeous vampire, with dark red lips and long black and gray hair barged through the flap.
“Who are you?” Adelaide demanded her eyes going straight for her stilettos. How could she walk through the forest in those?
The vampire glared at her with so much force that Adelaide feared she might burst into flames. “I’m Lorraine, Constantine’s wife. Who the hell are you?” she demanded.
Adelaide’s eyes went wide as her heart stopped and plummeted to her stomach.
Lorraine.
When she was child, her parents would tell her scary bedtime stories about the Bloody Lorraine. Adelaide just assumed that the two had remained separated. After all, that’s what the rumors said.
Before she could say anything, two vampire soldiers burst in after her. “Madam, he is with the officers.” One of them explained with a flustered voice.
She scoffed, dramatically rolling her eyes and pushed out of the tent. “I told him I was coming and he left a whore in his bed. We separate for a mere hundred years and he’s already seeing other creatures!”
The hiss easily reached Adelaide’s ears.
She slumped back onto the bed, wrapped in his Constantine’s fur, wondering what would happen to her now.
Chapter Eight
Adelaide awoke to the sound of two distinct voices; Lorrain and Constantine. She rolled over, realizing that she was still naked under the fur bedspread. Through her squinted eyes, she could see that the
sun had just barely risen above the horizon. With a furrowed brow, she lifted the bedspread over her legs, laboriously swinging them across the side of the bed. She sighed to herself as her feet hit the warm, moist sod. As she stood up, she could feel her muscles expanding, screeching as they stretched. Her Energy brimmed just beneath the surface of her skin, threatening to seep out of her pores, but tense and taught; impossible to harness.
Adelaide didn’t know how it was possible, but she had definitely been asleep for a very long time.
“Well, we have to make a decision quickly because the Breath will wear off soon and she will be completely aware of herself.” Constantine’s voice reached her as if through water.
Adelaide furrowed her brow, her eyes grazing the cloudy room as she struggled to catch a grip.
She heard Lorraine sigh. “I still cannot believe you would take a mistress.”
“I still can’t believe you left me in the first place.” Constantine hissed back.
Adelaide realized that the voices were coming from behind her. A tiny voice in the back of her head told her that the bodies were behind her; that she needed to turn to face her threat. But that little voice was suffocated by the cotton that filled her brain.
“A hundred years is no match for a marriage meant to last an eternity.” She sneered.
Adelaide pursed her lips, shutting her eyes and focusing herself on clearing her mind. If she could just get a hold of her own thoughts and control her own faculties, then-
“You left me!” he roared.
Adelaide flinched. Her Energy loosening all a single breath. She could feel the warmth of it streaming through her veins. Like an electric shock, it shot up her spine and lifted every hair on the back of her neck.
“Because you broke my heart!”
Her neck snapped in their direction, her body, finally heeding the call of her mind. In one motion, her wings extended to full span, surging through the air around her, her skin brimming a subtle gold as warmth emanated from her skin.
The two lovers froze, their figures stuck in space merely three inches apart. Constantine looked as if he had just stepped off of a horse on holiday; his signature boots replaced with Alligator skinned shoes that strangely complimented his white, linen suit. Lorraine looked much the same as Adelaide could manage to remember, her black and gray hair fashioned into an up-do at the top of her head, but her eyes as dark as ever.
They both turned to look at her.
Constantine’s eyes widened at the sight of her in her fighting stance; her feet planted at shoulder width, her fists clenched, her wings completely outstretched. “I haven’t seen you like this since the moment I met you.” He breathed, becoming so exhilarated that his cheeks almost regained their color.
Lorraine wrapped her thin fingers around Constantine’s arm, forcing him to look at her again.
Adelaide watched as she stared at him with eyes softened by fatigue… and sadness. She realized just then that Lorraine had expected to come home to a vampire who was, for all intents and purposes, waiting for her with open arms. Now, as she stood there with her wisps of hair framing her pale face, with her arms trembling and her skin stretched taught over her tense muscles, she seemed incredibly disoriented and completely out of control.
“You replaced me with her.” She whispered.
“She could never replace you, Lorraine. You are my love. You know that.”
Adelaide could feel her eyes stinging with the promise of tears. She’d give anything to have a man speak to her that way.
Constantine then grabbed her shoulders and turned her so that she was facing Adelaide. “Look at her, my love.” He whispered into her ear.
And as they gazed on her, their eyes taking in every inch of her naked, glowing body, her wings extended to full span, a magnificent bed of cotton under her, Adelaide felt as if she had been fileted in front of the two of them; her insides becoming her outsides and her outsides completely belonging to them.
“You are my black pearl, but she is radiant and she is all ours.’
Lorraine blinked. Her eyes brightened as much as dark eyes could as she realized something. Her slender chest rose and fell with one final breath. “Ours.” She repeated.
Constantine smiled, his lips stretching across his face in a grin of triumph as he beckoned to Adelaide. “Come.” He ordered in a level voice.
Adelaide sucked in a deep breath. It didn’t even occur to her to disobey. She crossed the room in a short moment, her wings lowering as she gained more and more control of herself. She did not stop walking until she was within a foot of the two of them. “Come closer.” Lorraine whispered.
She did not wait for Adelaide to take another step. She grasped a fist full of hair from the back of her head, clutching a handful of her golden locks.
Adelaide’s heart stopped.
Lorraine hesitated for a mere second, then she kissed her.
Adelaide’s eyes flashed wide open before she melted into the vampire’s embrace. She could not believe what was happening… but she didn’t want to stop it either. Lorraine moaned, the sound of it raising the hairs on the back of Adelaide’s neck. She could feel her wings flexing again, her toes curling underneath her, her skin crawling. The vampire’s tongue pressed between her lips, tracing the inside of her lip with a titillating precision. Adelaide could feel her warmth building, her skin glowing hot. A little voice in the back of her head told her to take it easy, but that little voice was so easily defeated. In one swift movement, she clutched Lorraine’s collar and slammed her into one of the support pillars.
The entire tent shook.
Lorraine gazed at her with hungry eyes. Wide. Surprised.
Adelaide slowly released her grip, panting as she wondered if she had gone too far, but Lorraine gripped her by her upper arms and drew her close once again. At this close range, Adelaide could see that her fangs had descended. Her nipples poked hard and erect through her blouse and her chest rapidly rose and fell with her quick breath.
Her arousal was impossible to deny.
Constantine’s dark chuckle filled the room. “Well?”
Lorraine shrugged. “My love, you always did have exquisite taste.”

Chapter One
Adelaide and Constantine found themselves intertwined with each other, completely consumed by each other. His large cot swung back and forth, slamming against the back pillar and as they grinded against each other. Adelaide clutched his thin shirt with her fingers, her lips laying kisses on the smooth skin of his neck and back. A smile played on her lips as she took note of how still he felt. There was no beating heart, no pounding pulse. He was a stoic being, completely unreal before her and rock hard against her. Sex with him never felt real and that made her smile. Sex with him was the only thing that made her smile these days. She giggled at the tight bulge pressing against his pants. It was more than the flow of blood or communication between nerve endings. It was an exchange of energy and that, in and off itself, made it so much stronger.
She unbuttoned his pants and slipped her hands into it. His penis was warm in her palm. In fact, it was the only warm part of her body. She sighed at this. The sensation of it alone was enough to throw her into a frenzy of desire. The warmth in between her legs was impossible to deny. Right when she slipped his pants off, he stopped her, placing a hand on either shoulder. The two of them looked into each other’s empty eyes; the same excited gleam, the same half smirk. His smile widened as he slowly slid his hand away from her shoulder and farther down into her chest. She sighed, tilting her head back at this goosebumps sprouted on her entire body. She desperately needed to consume him. She took his face in both of her hands and slammed her lips into his. Their jaws danced together, his tongue pressing into her mouth as his hands massaged her breasts through her satin dress.
Her nipples poked through, seemingly summoning him. She pressed herself harder against him, pressing her head away from her lips and towards the side of her neck and her chest beyond. She could feel his cold tongue caressing her skin and it threw her into a frenzy. His hands found their way in between her legs, his fingers gently rubbing her clit. Her lips split open, allowing a moan to leap out into the dusk. She pressed her lips against his forehead, her hands combing through his hair and clutching his ass.
