Her mum was alive. Sebastian, Rebecca, and she herself had somehow all survived. Her eyes blurred with tears. For the first time in two months, everyone she loved was safe. It felt strange. Could she relax? Could she somehow go back to a normal life?
She could feel the heat of her mum’s hand; she closed her eyes, letting the beeping of the machine tell her that her mother was alive. Lilliah broke down in tears, the sobs shaking her body. “Thank you.” She didn't know whom she was thanking, but she was so grateful. They would be okay.

“RUTHLESS”
COMING SOON
He stared down at the puddle of blood as it slowly dripped into the carving on the floor. The bodies had been removed, but the blood had remained—blood that, unknown to everyone else, had completed the ritual. They thought they had won. They thought they had stopped him. Lucifer lifted his head, inhaling deeply. They had no idea he was there, or what he was capable of. Kneeling, he ran his fingers through the red liquid.
“I can almost smell you through her blood, Michael.” He rubbed it between his fingers. “I have been locked away for centuries. But now I'm coming for you.”
