“Behind you!” he yelled out. She turned but it was too late as she looked right at him and then the strike to the back of her head from the butt of the man’s gun sent her to the ground. She wasn’t moving. The men started firing at them and he was nearly hit. They were running toward the hill, trying to get to her to save her along with the others. Skylar was ahead of him on the right when the guy by the jeep lifted her up and tossed her limp body into the jeep. They took off as he and the men fired at the tires but the other jeep got in the way and those men fired back. He, Quantico and Leather, Walker, Spartan, and Hans fired at the jeep, killing the second set of men and making that jeep crash. The other one with Kendra in it got away.

“Fuck!” he roared and bent over, trying to catch his breath just as the others were.

“God damn it, they got her. She fucking killed those men and fought so hard and they got her. Fuck,” Skylar carried on. Stone looked around him, at his team, his good friends and commander Spartan and Hans.

“Shit, we can’t track her. Her fucking watch is on the ground broken, and here’s her fucking backpack. Fuck,” Skylar exclaimed.

“Wait. I got something. I got her,” Quantico said and looked at the tracking device.

  “What? How?” Paul asked.

Quantico looked up and locked gazes with Stone. “Her sports bra. Didn’t she say she had the additional one in her sports bra?” Quantico asked.

  “What?” Paul asked.

“We asked her the same thing and she said Middle East,” Walker told them.

“Ohhhh, yeah, the Middle East,” Brandon said.

“I take it she didn’t tell you why she was there and what she got caught in?” Paul asked them.

Stone was pissed. He didn’t like that these men knew things about Kendra that he and his team didn’t. It pissed him off, as much as their young, hotshot attitudes did.

  “We didn’t ask,” Quantico stated.

“They’ll be here in ten minutes tops,” Spartan said as he radioed for a pick-up.

“Hang gliding with Sunny. Sunny went off course, a tail wind picked him up and sent him into hostile territory. Way off course. She followed, as not wanting him to be lost alone and they landed in a small little village miles from where they were supposed to be. Phoenix and Castle couldn’t find them for three days. Her watch broke, the backpack was lost when they were running to hide from the militia forces, and there was no way to locate them. They made their way back through hostile territory and into neutral area four days later. They were starving, beat up from falls and hiding out in shit spots. That’s when she came up with the idea about having a tracking device on her, but not imbedded in her body,” Paul stated.

“It’s one of her top inventions she made a shit load of money on. A top seller from catalogue sales, too, from what we heard,” Brandon added.

“She is definitely resourceful. Not many people would have made it this long and under these circumstances. She’s out cold now, and they got her. It’s our job to rescue her, and make sure she makes it out alive,” Spartan stated.

“She will. She knows that we’re here. Hopefully that gives her some peace of mind,” Stone said and then waited for their lift to get there.

“I don’t care who the fuck they have with them. Take them all out. If you can capture Brandon, Skylar, and Paul, then do so. The others, kill.”

Kendra heard the voices, the Spanish accents as men talked about killing her exes. They were trying to find her. To help her and so were Quantico, Stone, Leather, and Walker. They found out about what happened and they came to rescue her. She saw them, and when she heard Stone call out and turned, she was struck from behind. Her head was throbbing something terrible and her stomach lurched. She moaned and moved, the idea of pretending to still be unconscious changed by her body’s reaction to coming to. One of them had struck her in the back of the head. She was almost free. Almost saved.

She leaned over and threw up, moaned and then heard the mumbled curses.

“Who the fuck hit her so hard?” one voice asked and as she blinked her eyes open she felt the hand on her hip, skin against skin, and as a cloth came to her mouth, wiping it, she realized she was lying there in only her boy short panties and sports bra. What had they done to her? She tried pushing his hand away when he spoke firmly and added pressure to her hip.

“No. Don’t move or fight me. You’ll feel worse,” he told her in that Spanish accent. She fell back down to the bed, some sort of cot or something. They were in a hut, a small enclosure and men stood by the opening.

“We need to move her now. We’ve waited too long as is,” one guy said as the other wiped her mouth and then shook his head.

“Okay,” he replied and then gripped her chin.

“You need to come with me.”

“Where? Who are you? What is it you want?”

He started to pull her up and in doing so her head really spun and she had no choice but to grab on to him. “Oh God, oh my God, I feel like shit,” she said and he snorted.

“You will feel that way for days at least, but it will pass. We must go. It’s three hours to our destination.”

  She grabbed on to him

“No, no, please, just leave me. I don’t even know why I’m here.”

“Come.” He lifted her up and she held on to him. When she couldn’t get her legs to walk, her cut so bad it throbbed, he lifted her up into his arms.

  “Please let me go.”

“No can do. I must get you to Gazleer. He is waiting for you to arrive.”

She leaned her head against his shoulder, unable to keep it upright. “Why? What does he want? I don’t even know him.”

“He will explain,” he said and someone opened the truck door and he slid her inside. Another man sat on her other side and eyed her over.

  “My clothes?” she asked.

“No need for them. When you arrive, Gazleer has plans for you,” he said to her.

“Plans? No, let me go. I have nothing to do with this.”

“Don’t worry. He is very wealthy, and an attractive man. If you cooperate and submit to his orders it won’t be as painful.”

  “Painful? Submit to his orders?”

“Rest your head,” he said and she felt the tears fill her eyes. She wasn’t stupid. Gazleer was going to hurt her, rape her as revenge against her exes. Why had he come after her? Why had he waited years to seek revenge? What the hell was going on? Could Brandon, Skylar, and Paul find her in time? She closed her eyes and thought about the tracking device in her bra. Please work. Please let Quantico and his team, their friends be tracking me right now and making their way to me. Please.

“Well, it’s been two hours. Where the fuck are they driving to?” Pisces asked from the back seat of the jeep.

“Quantico, Skylar, Rusty, and Spartan are working on that now,” Walker said as Leather drove.

“I can’t believe all this shit we’re finding out about Kendra, and her capabilities,” Stack said to them.

“You can’t believe it? We’re in fucking shock and the worst part is, none of this shit is her fault. It’s all her exes’ faults. The fucking dicks,” Leather stated.

“You guys are handling it all well. She’s tough, and she’ll hold tight and we’ll get to her in time,” Finlin added.

“We better or I’m personally going to kill her ex-boyfriends and leave their asses in the jungle. Fucking self-centered pricks,” Leather stated and they agreed.

“Even though they caused this shit, had lied years ago and then stole from this guy, they do sincerely seem to be worried about Kendra,” Finlin said.

“It’s a fucking bullshit show. They don’t care about her. They care about themselves. They fucking cheated on her, used her, betrayed her and now they could get her killed. I can’t help but think how scared she must be and you saw the hit to the back of her head. They tossed her unconscious body into the back of that jeep. Fuck!” Walker
said.

Finlin placed his hand on his shoulder.

“Listen, we’re right here with you. We’ll save her, and we’ll end this shit once and for all, then if you want to kill her exes and dump their bodies somewhere, we’ll help,” Finlin said and as Walker turned to squint at him, they all laughed.

“Okay, so we won’t kill them, but I won’t stop you from beating the piss out of them,” Finlin added.

“Me either. I’d personally like to shove my boot up Skylar’s ass. The dick thinks he’s a fucking God because he’s a mercenary. We fucking eat mercenaries as snacks,” Stack said and they all laughed. Then the radio went off.

“What do you got?” Walker asked Spartan.

“Okay, so we pull off a few miles before? Okay. I’ll let them know.”

  “What is it?” Leather asked.

“Spartan said Jaguar found a location, the only possible place they could be taking Kendra. It’s a private compound, fenced in entirely with security, armed guards, and surveillance. They are saying they want to pull off a few miles down the road while they work on getting satellite images of the place and we can figure out how to eliminate the cameras and make our way inside without being detected too soon. It’s going to take some time,” Walker told them.

“Fuck, the more time she is alone in there, injured and with these men, the greater her chances of sustaining more injuries or worse it gets,” Finlin stated.

“We have a lot of us here that know what we’re doing,” Walker stated.

“Yeah, but that means relying on three other men none of us trust,” Stack said, referring to Brandon, Paul, and Skylar.

“We don’t have much of a choice but to hope that saving Kendra is their top priority,” Leather said.

“We have two choices, separate them and one of us makes sure that she’s top priority, or let them go in together and whatever the fuck happens, it’s on them while we rescue Kendra,” Finlin said.

“I’m sure Quantico and Spartan are thinking the same thing right now. Let’s wait to see what the decision is and how we’re going to infiltrate this facility,” Stack said to them and they waited as they drove closer and closer to where Kendra was being held prisoner.

  * * * *

“I don’t trust them,” Quantico said to Spartan and Hans.

“I don’t blame you, but knowing how high tech this facility is, we need all the bodies, the manpower we can get. There are triple the number of security guards on the outside of the house itself, and who the fuck knows what’s on the inside. We need to run this operation accordingly, making certain that the bad guys die and not any of us. I say we split into three teams, and we can separate the three brothers,” Spartan stated.

“I agree, and we go in with the intention of leaving no survivors,” Quantico added.

Skylar cleared his throat and approached.

“What’s the plan of action?” he asked.

“We’re coming up with one,” Spartan said to him firmly.

Skylar looked over Spartan and then Quantico.

“I understand that you have your way of doing things and that you more than likely don’t trust us. I get it, but we care about Kendra.” He eyed over Quantico and Quantico narrowed his eyes at him. “We shared three years together, and a bed, we aren’t going to let anything happen to her because of us.”

Quantico stepped forward and Spartan grabbed his shoulder.

“You fucking asshole. You have the nerve to bring up a relationship from two fucking years ago? From a time when you broke that woman’s heart, made her feel used and meaningless? You fucking punk. You had it made. She was the best thing that happened to you and your brothers, a perfect ménage relationship and you shit it away. You cost her a career as a Marine and you put her in the worst danger ever. She could die, and you’re going to come over here and ask what the fucking plan is and look at me like you’re better? You’re lucky I don’t put a fucking bullet in your head and bury you out here with the rest of the fucks that took my woman. You fuck anything up on this mission, and you’re done. This will be your last, and you’ll never leave Costa Rica alive. You understand me, son?” He raised his voice. Skylar nodded his head and then looked at his brothers Brandon and Paul.

“Let’s go save your woman,” Skylar said, surprising all of them.

  * * * *

She felt the hand on her thigh, and then a stroke over her breast. Kendra didn’t know how long she had passed out for, but it was dark outside and in the room. Her eyes blinked, her brain not catching up instantly with her sight. When it did, the hand stroked her breasts again and she saw that it was Gazleer.

“If I had known your body was this exceptional I would have come for you sooner,” he said to her. She went to move and he gripped her shoulder, pushed it down and then leaned closer. She felt the gun on his hip push against her belly. Her other hand was close to it, her fingers brushed the handle. She needed to be smart here, to play his games, and manipulate the situation to her advantage.

“I mean nothing to them. Taking me doesn’t affect them in any way.”

He pressed his lips to her cheek, and then lower toward her chin, then her bare shoulder.

“You don’t even realize how much they care for you. How miserable they are without you. What they did to ensure you didn’t wind up behind bars or under my command and in my bed instead of free.”

“What do you mean?” she asked him, drawing him in as her mind began to focus and become clearer. She would need to be smart when she escaped. She was going over the plan in her head.

“They bribed more people than I knew they had connections with. All so that you wouldn’t get dishonorable discharge or serve time in prison for smuggling. I was impressed, so much so that I planned my revenge carefully. I hadn’t expected them to rip me off once again. To take millions from me so quickly.”

  “What are you talking about?”

He gripped her jaw tight, the bruising hurting worse as his fingers dug into her skin to the bone.

  She gasped.

“They stole millions of dollars of items, and money from me in the last week. That just fucking really pissed me off, so I had no choice really. I had to come for you, in order to get them here where they will die.”

  She swallowed hard.

“You see,” he said and pressed his mouth to hers. She tried to pull away but his grip held tight. “You see, they are going to come for you, and that’s when they all will die. All the while as they get shot up, blown up and killed, I’ll be in this room, in this bed, fucking you,” he said.

When he went to lift up, sirens blared. He stopped and smirked, but she grabbed the gun from his hip and went to fire it. He slammed his forearm down on her chest and she pulled the trigger. He roared as his ear disappeared and his hollers surely could be heard through the open windows. She cried out too and thrust her leg up, making her feel pain and see stars. Gunshots went off like crazy outside. They were coming in for her, to save her, but Gazleer set them up. She fought with him and the gun. He slammed her wrist down hard and the gun fell off the bed to the floor. He gripped her arms and straddled her waist then struck her. The pain was fierce but she knew it was do or die as she used one of her training moves to counter his attack. Despite her bad leg, she slammed it up and whacked her palm upward against his jaw while using her momentum to push him off of her and off the bed. So much so that she fell with him, slammed down onto his body but in reach of the gun.

She gripped it as the door burst open and two of his men came in, guns drawn. She shot once, twice, killing them both and then turned and shot three times, killing Gazleer. She hadn’t seen the knife he pulled and couldn’t move as he slammed it down as he fell on top of her. She screamed out in pain as the knife cut her side right under the trim of her breast.

“Kendra!” She heard Quantico’s voice, and she was stuck under Gazleer, but then he and Stone were shoving the body off of her. She was covered with his blood.

  “Holy fuck. I
s the blood yours?” Walker yelled from behind them and Leather, Spartan and Hans were there as well as Brandon.

“The leg and my side. He stabbed me,” she said as Quantico lifted her up off the floor and into his arms. He had her completely in the cradle position.

“She killed the three of them, let’s get the fuck out of here,” Walker stated.

“Kendra, where is Lupee?” Brandon asked.

“I don’t know. I have a concussion. Last I saw him, he was downstairs,” she said and Brandon started to run.

“Brandon, where are you going?” Stone yelled to him.

“This needs to be over forever,” Brandon said and disappeared.

  “Quantico?”

“Shh, you’re safe and that’s why we’re here to rescue you. Now hold on tight,” he said and as they carefully made it out of the house, very little gunfire continued to go off.

As they headed into the thickness of trees and the brush, she heard Spartan talking into his radio. The others were making their way out. Skylar killed Lupee, Brandon got shot in the shoulder and Paul was with Stack and his team.

She inhaled against Quantico’s neck as he held her tight and kept her close the whole way they went on foot. She kissed his neck and he tightened but continued moving quickly. Then they came to a clearing and a set of four jeeps.

“All clear,” Rusty said and then Quantico set her down next to the jeep. He cupped her cheek.

“What hurts the worst?” he asked, holding her gaze.
